Speaker 1 (00:00):
At time, time, time, time, luck and load. Michael Verishow
is on the air. What we've got here is failure
to milk.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Most of the people covering that campaign were not particularly
knowledgeable about the past and didn't you know, may not
have even known that. You know, America firsters pac Madison
Square Garden in nineteen thirty nine and a pro Nazi
Germany rally.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
You said over the weekend referring to it, there's a
direct parallel to a big rally that.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Happened in the mid nineteen thirties at Madison Square guarded.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
So I know what I saw, and I'll just leave
it at that. Do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (00:45):
I do, Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
The races, sex, is homophobic, xenophobic, islamophobic, you name it.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
The only garbage I see floating out there is your
supporters is humanizational scene.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
As I'm constable, you can put half of Trump's supporters
into what I call the basket of deplorables.

Speaker 7 (01:08):
Look at the wading, look at the fear, we.

Speaker 8 (01:15):
Look at the life, we leady way we bos done before.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
You know, that's a little bit old.

Speaker 8 (01:25):
That shart that charts a couple of months old, and
if you want to really see something that said, take
a look at what happened.

Speaker 9 (01:38):
Nothing.

Speaker 7 (01:46):
We bleed the same blood, we share the same.

Speaker 8 (02:10):
Home, and we salute the same great American flag.

Speaker 7 (02:17):
We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation
under God.

Speaker 8 (02:25):
So Jews and Muslims and Catholics and Evangelicals and Mormons,
and they're all joining our colors and large numbers, larger
than anyone has ever seen in this country before, larger
than they've ever seen in any country. And the Republican
Party has really become the party of inclusion.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
And that's something very nice about that. Joe Biden says
that if you are a supporter of Donald Trump, you

(03:08):
are garbage. Hey that again for me, please remo.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
The only garbage I see float down there is his supporters.
His demonizational scene is unconstable, and it's not American.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
The only supporters I see out the only garbage I
see out there are his supporters. It's one thing that
they've called Trump every name in the book, but now
they've committed the cardinal sin. They've insulted his supporters, they've supported,
They've insulted every mother, every father, every active duty or veteran,

(03:51):
every police officer, firefighter, small business owner, preacher, school teacher,
every single one of them. Galatians three twenty six says
we are all children of God, God's own creation, not garbage.
Play that again, ramon the.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Only garbage I see flowed down there is just supporters.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Joe Biden upstaged Kamala Harris again. She was giving a
speech at the Ellipse, which is also known as President's Park.
They were calling this her closing argument. The choice of
the location is interesting because it's the site of a
nineteen twenty five KKK rally. I can only believe considering

(04:39):
how this works now, previous activities at a venue equated
with current events suggest that they were summoning the spirit
of a nineteen twenty five KKK rally, which maybe that's
why Blacks don't like Kamala Harris quite so much. The
White House as the back drop, Kamala Harris said it's

(05:02):
time to turn the page, and then she proceeded to
say the nastiest things about Donald Trump. Her judgment in
men is worse than Taylor Swift's. And this is a
woman who's had fourteen famously had fourteen prior boyfriends that
she writes songs about. This is a woman who's made

(05:25):
a fortune off of writing songs about her mistakes in men.
So her endorsement is, in and of itself, a sign
this woman gets everything wrong. She's a bad picker. So

(05:48):
of course she's for Kamala Harris, and Kamala Harris has
told us for four years she too a bad picker.
She's told us for four four years that Joe Biden
is the best. He's great, he's got his faculties, he's
doing a great job. Things are going well. And when

(06:08):
we've dared to say they doesn't feel like they're going well,
she and her supporters have said, you just don't know,
but we're living through it. Donald Trump was giving a
speech at the same time. Marco Rubio walked on stage
to deliver the news to the former president and the

(06:30):
crowd that Joe Biden had said they're all garbage. And
here's Donald Trump's reaction to what Senator Rubio said.

Speaker 10 (06:37):
Well, I wasn't gonna say anything, but I have breaking.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
News for you, mister President. You may not have heard this.

Speaker 10 (06:42):
Just moments ago, Joe Biden stated that our supporters are garbage,
our garbage. He's talking about the border patrol. He's talking
about nurses, he's talking about teachers, he's.

Speaker 7 (06:59):
Talking about every the Americans.

Speaker 10 (07:00):
You love their country and want a dream big again
and support you, mister president.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
And I hope their campaign is about to.

Speaker 10 (07:06):
Apologize for what Joe Biden just said. We are not garbage.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
We are patriots who love.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
America and thank you for running, mister president.

Speaker 9 (07:17):
Wow, that's terrible.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
That's what it says.

Speaker 9 (07:39):
That's what it says.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
So you have.

Speaker 8 (07:48):
Remember Hillary, she said deplorable and then she said irredeevable. Right,
but she said deplorable. That didn't work out. Garbage, I
think is worse right. But he doesn't know. You have
to please forgive him, Please forgive him for he not.

Speaker 9 (08:04):
Knoweth what he said.

Speaker 8 (08:13):
These people terrible, terrible.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
God.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mitch michael Berry. Genius.
There's always a show within a show, those of you
who are new to the show, there are always little
things being dropped in. If you catch them, you catch him.
If you don't, that's okay. Often people email me I

(08:41):
caught this or I caught that. We always wonder how
many people catch some little things. I'll give this one
away because it's rather obvious for those who know and
for those who aren't young enough to know nineties music,
which I'm not a big nineties mus fan. The song
is called Stupid Girl is a Girl or Girls super Girl,

(09:08):
and the band is garbage. Know that the band's name
is actual, actually garbage. We do a lot of fun
little things like that, just keep you on your toes.
The Trump campaign responded through Carolyn Levitt, who's a National
Press secretary. President Trump is backed by Latinos, blacks, union workers,

(09:31):
angel moms, law enforcement officers, border patrol agents, and Americans
of all faiths. And Harris Watson Biden have labeled these
great Americans as fascist Nazison now garbage. There's no way
to spin it. Biden and Harris don't just hate President Trump.
They despise the tens of millions of Americans who support him.
Kamala does not deserve four more years. President Trump will

(09:52):
be a president for all Americans. Amen, Amen, bravo. I
like it that Ramaswami was on with Sean Hannity when
he called Biden's comments this election's October surprise.

Speaker 11 (10:05):
Look, here's the October surprise. It just arrived. This is
the basket of deplorable's moment. That's what Hillary Clinton said
in sixteen the tank her campaign. Well, that's the dope
Joe Biden Kamala Harris moment.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Right now.

Speaker 11 (10:17):
I am a little bit more cynical about this one, Sean.
In the following way, it might look like Joe Biden's
usual cognitive deficits kicked in, But the reality is, we
know his family is secretly probably rooting for Donald Trump,
not Kamala Harris to win because they feel really vengeful
about how.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
They were treated.

Speaker 11 (10:33):
So if you're in their shoes that you know that
kind of comment is actually.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Going to tank Kamala Harris.

Speaker 11 (10:37):
So we're going to put those kinds of motivations to
one side. But regardless, it is a welcome October surprise,
because let's take a big step back.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
What's going on here. The wheels are coming off the car.

Speaker 11 (10:47):
They're spiraling, and now you see the accusations of the
other side being hitler or piles of garbage. You're gonna
hear a lot about threats to democracy in the next week.
They are flailing, Sean, They understand are not falling for
their trick anymore. Donald Trump has a record that he's
running on. They're frustrated by it, and I think it's
in some ways a beautiful thing for our side to watch,

(11:09):
To watch this completely come undone and turn the page
on this ugly chapter of our history.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
And what did the media do well? The media who
lies about Trump every single day. Head on a defender
of Joe Biden. His words are very clear, you, as
a Trump supporter, are garbage. Frank Leonard is the founder
and CEO of something called the Blacklist, which is a

(11:38):
list that comes out every year that ranks screenplays that
have not been produced. So if you've got a screenplay
that you want to be made into a movie, and
he ranks it number one, that's Harvey Weinstein level power.
That's going to get it in front of the right people.
So he is a Hollywood elite. He's a gatekeeper for

(12:01):
those who want to make movies. He was on CNN
to defend Joe Biden, and he said, we went back
to the old Oh well, you know, Joe stutters. That's
not really Joe didn't. She's okay. He said that he
stutters because that's always been the excuse. Joe stutters. No,

(12:22):
Joe said, Trump's supporters are garbage. To his credit, Scott
Jennings pounced.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Say, because he was in his house, the White House.
He was in his house doing this, and the reporting
is that there are places that he can be useful,
but he's not everywhere like you might expect a sitting
president to be for his vice president.

Speaker 12 (12:48):
I don't know that I've expect this president to be
everywhere in this moment. I mean that the critical element
any coach will tell you, any ceo will tell you
a critical element of running a team and winning is
assessing the strengths and weaknesses of your team members and
making sure you allocate them in the right way. Joe
Biden has never been a big arena speaker. He's never
been the most fluid speaker. And by the way, as

(13:08):
someone who had a starter growing up, it's very obvious
to me if there's an apostrophe at the end of
supporters there. He was referring to the garbage viewed by supporters,
not simply the supporters themselves. But Joe Biden has been
on the campaign trail. He's best getting ice cream in.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Maryland like he was today.

Speaker 12 (13:24):
He's best showing moments of empathy Arizona like he was
last week. He's best with union folks, as he was
in Pittsburgh last week as well.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
You use people where they are best.

Speaker 12 (13:33):
You put Obama in a big arena, you put Michelle
in a big arena, and you put Joe Biden in
front of a bunch of union people do in retail polity.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
You could make the argument that they would be fine
if Joe Biden wasn't anywhere near a microphone between now
and next Tuesday.

Speaker 13 (13:48):
Let me just accept the most charitable framing of.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
This which you just gave.

Speaker 13 (13:52):
Why is he sitting in front of a laptop at
the exact same moment Kamala Harris is out on his
backyard trying to give the closing argument to her campaign.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
What in the world is he doing.

Speaker 13 (14:07):
I don't accept your framing of it personally, because I
actually do believe he Harris, the Democratic Party and most
of their campaign do believe that half the country is garbage.
They've also said people who go to Trump rallies are Nazis,
and so it's pretty apparent the disdain with which they
hold half of the country.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
But I think Kamla was speech tonight, but as.

Speaker 13 (14:32):
A tactical matter today in the world is Joe Biden
giving remarks at the same time.

Speaker 9 (14:41):
I'll give you that.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
I'll give you that. I have a theory, just a
theory may not be true. But listen to what Donald
Trump said during his debate with Kamala Harris about Joe
Biden's feelings toward Kamala Harris.

Speaker 8 (14:57):
He got fourteen million votes and they threw him out
of a And you know what, I give you a
little secret.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
He hates her. He can't stand here. But he got
fourteen million votes.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
They threw him out.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
She got zero votes. I think Joe Biden is letting
you peek behind the curtain and see the wizard of
Oz that is the Kamala Harris campaign. I think he
knows exactly what he's doing. There is so much tension

(15:33):
between Jill Biden and the Kamala campaign. There is so
much acrimony. I think that Joe Biden during her big
speech in Detroit a few weeks ago, on a Friday evening,
Joe Biden held an unplanned press conference at exactly the

(15:54):
same moment that moved all the cameras on him instead
of her, And all he said during that press conference
was Kamala has been running thing for four years. I
just want you to know, newly noted, we will all
vote on that basis. Thank you. The friends like him.
She doesn't need enemies. They remain scared to death of you,

(16:16):
and they remain scared to death of Trump. At Michael
Berry Shows, you're not going anywhere even if Trump does.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
You're not.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Democrats think you are garbage, but you're not. This is
how they've treated you all alone. They've treated you like
garbage from day one. You're just a piggy bank to pay.
You're just a guinea pig for the pharmaceutical industry that's
giving them money. On the backside. You just cannon fodder

(16:48):
to send your boys to war, to fight their war
so they can get rich. And the Cheneys are worried
that Trump gets elected and he won't get to send
your boys to war because the big warmongers, the daddy
warbucks that pay his bills, well, they're not writing him
checks if they can't sell bullets. They need wars, and

(17:14):
the Democrats will give it to him, and Trump won't.
Joe Biden said that Trump's supporters, that's you are garbage.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Your garbage. Joe Biden thinks this is a big deal.
It's a big deal, man, Come on, Joe Biden. It's
a big deal for Kamala Harris. Even CNN's Abbey Phillips says,
I think this is going to harm Kamala Harris.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
All right, there's new reporting about Joe Biden and a
moment that explains why things are the way that they are.
Sources tell CNN that the President is in do no
harm mode, stabling himself to the bench at the direction
of the Harris campaign. Well even from the White House,
he may have done some pretty significant harm in the
final week of the campaign. Just listen to this and

(18:08):
you'd be the judge.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
Just the other day, I speaker at Israeli called Puerto
Rico a floating island of garbage.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Well, let me tell you some I don't know.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
The Puerto rican that I know, or Puerto Rico where
I'm in my home state of Delaware. They're good, decent,
honorable people. The only garbage I see floating down there
is his supporters. His demonizational scene is not unconstable, and
it's not American. It's totally contrary to everything We've done
everything we've been.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
Nobody is now Franklin Leonard. He is in our fifth seed.
He's the founder and CEO of the Blacklist. That was
a moment, and not a moment that the Harris campaign wanted.
I want to just read. This is Biden on X
trying to clarify all of this. He says earlier today,
I referenced to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico's spewed

(19:03):
by Trump's supporters at his Madison Squark Garden rally as garbage,
which is the only word I can think of to
describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all
I meant to say.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Are you buying that? Nobody else is even that nasty
woman Caitlin Collins, who goes out of her way to
trash Trump. Even she said the White House's attempts to
walk this one back they're not working.

Speaker 14 (19:36):
Oh well, and the White House is trying to say
that what President Biden was saying, they're putting an apostrophe
there in supporter saying it's the singular I guess, referring
to the comedian that supporters comments, I mean, it's hard
to really look at that when you can listen to
it for yourself.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Brad Todd was on CNN when he said that Harris
Paign didn't do her any favors by putting her in
the Ellipse also known as President's Park with the White
House behind her.

Speaker 15 (20:09):
I hate to be the skunk at the garden part
of it, but I think, you know, I play political
events for a living, and I think this was political
malpractice to put her in front.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Of this White House. Sixty eight percent.

Speaker 15 (20:21):
Of Americans think that the country's on the wrong track,
and they blamed Joe Biden, and increasingly they're blaming Kamala Harris.
By standing in front of that White House tonight, she's
going to own all sixty eight percent of that disapproval.
And you know, I think it's a comfort reason. I
think Northwest Washington, d C. Is about her best precinct
in America. Everybody likes her there. She should have been

(20:41):
in the Union Lodge in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh tonight. That
would have done her a lot more good. And I
also don't think that she did a lot from Nicky
Haley voters. They've talked a lot this week about that.
They were going after Haley voters, And I think the
Hailey voters had to be looking at this as like
a Christmas present. They opened up and it was socks.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
You know.

Speaker 15 (20:58):
They got nothing new from her, nothing that wasn't in
her convention speech. Frankly, and I don't think this moves
the ball for her.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Here at the end, the man who should have been
Kamala Harris's VP running mate, Governor Josh Shapiro, the governor
of Pennsylvania, the state without which she can't win. Now,
she can win Pennsylvania and not win the White House,

(21:24):
but if she loses Pennsylvania, it makes the map impossible
for her to get there. Several of the sites that
monitor these sorts of things and come up with the
algorithms suggests that it's about a seven percent likelihood that
she wins the White House the electoral College vote if

(21:49):
she loses Pennsylvania. Now, if she wins Pennsylvania, it increases
her chances, but if she loses Pennsylvania, the route is
almost impossible. And by the way, depending on the poll
you're looking at, she could lose Nevada. In several of
the polls, she's behind there right now. Wisconsin Michigan, North Carolina,

(22:16):
where she's removing resources and redeploying Arizona, Georgia. She's in trouble.
I mean, there's no doubt she's in trouble. So Josh Sapiro,
the guy that would have been the stronger running mate
than Jazz hands Old tampon. Tim Watz. He was on
CNN with Caitlyn Collins, and listen to what he said

(22:40):
about what Joe Biden said.

Speaker 14 (22:44):
I want you to listen to something that is making
the rounds right now, certainly by the Trump campaign, by
Senator jd Vance and others. What President Biden had to
say about this tonight.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
Just the other day, a speaker at Israeli, well, Puerto
Rico a floating island of garbage. The only garbage I
see floating down there is his supporters. His demonizational scene
is unconstable and it's not America.

Speaker 14 (23:14):
Governor verst Off, just what's your response to that comment
from from President Biden where it sounds like he's calling
Trump supporters there garbage.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Yeah, look, I had not heard that until now, Caitlin,
so I'm kind of give you my fresh reaction to it.
I would never insult the good people. Of Pennsylvania or
any Americans, even if they chose to support a candidate
that I didn't support.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
That isn't exactly a defense, now, is it probably worth noting?
I'm not going to defend Tony Hinchcliff's joke. It was
a joke. He's a roaster when you get there are
things called jokes. But I'd like to read you four
headlines from four major papers over the last seven years.
One Puerto Rico's Trash Problem number two, EPA sues Puerto

(24:12):
Rico over landfill overflow number three. After Hurricane Maria, Puerto
Rico struggles under the weight of its own garbage, and
finally trash crisis leaves Puerto Rico near the brink. Now
they have.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Pledged to carry out the largest deportation, a mass deportition.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Michael Ferris, imagine what that would look like? Us it
utrash we clip number four oh two. Ramon Kamala Harris
calling Donald Trump a fascist?

Speaker 9 (24:55):
Will you explicitly call him a fascist tonight?

Speaker 1 (24:58):
I think what's.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Most important is recognizing that his approach is not in
the best interest of America's prosperity or security.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Will you say that this evening that he's a fascist.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
I have said what I have to say, which is
he is dangerous and unfit and increasingly unstable and unhinged.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
And the American people deserve better everything they do. The
harder they try, the more they are alienating voters because
now they're trying to tell their story themselves, and as
people see how elitist, how arrogant, how self serving and

(25:46):
self absorbed these people are, it's off putting. It's off
putting to an American public that is struggling, an American
public that is watching our nation stagger. The instability is
unsettling to Americans. Stability is what has always made this

(26:13):
a peaceful, wonderful place of opportunity that the rest of
the world wanted to come and visit and often stay.
Our economic stability made this a place to park your cash.
Wherever you lived in the world. You might make your
money in China, Korea, India, or wherever else, but you

(26:34):
parked your money in the United States because things were stable.
But they're not stable when you've got these communists in power.
The harder they try, the worse it gets for them.
I'm not a fan of Stephen A. Smith. He is
a sports talker. He's done very well for himself. I

(26:54):
don't deny that. And he speaks to a demographic that's
different than me. People that live in dyesports all day
every day. That's that's not me. I do enjoy sports,
but not to that extent. He tends to puff and
bluff and but there's no doubt he has an audience,

(27:15):
and he usually makes he often not usually, he often
makes things racial and kind of claims to speak for,
you know, black athletes and takes a racial perspective to
a lot of a lot of issues in the news.

(27:36):
So next we have Barack Hussein Obama hitting the campaign
trail hard for Kamalo. I don't think he intends for
her to win. I think he doesn't want to be
criticized because he didn't do enough. Remember when she was
announced after they smothered Biden. His was the last congratulations

(28:01):
to come out. So he went out on a lecture
tour and declared that black men who don't vote for
Kamala Harris don't like women. And oddly enough, Stephen A.
Smith did something he rarely does. He criticized Barack Obama

(28:26):
on behalf of black men. I don't care what Steven A.
Smith says, I'm telling you this is a reason you're
seeing more and more black men come out and say
we're not voting for her. No, and you're not gonna
shame us into it either. Listen to this.

Speaker 16 (28:43):
The former president made headlines this weekend, actually a few
days before this weekend as well. Speaking to a formum
of black men in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Obama spoke directly to
all men who may be considering not voting or voting
for Donald Trump in this election cycle. Before I go

(29:03):
any further, I want you to hear exactly what this
man had to say.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
I'm getting wrong with that because because part of it
makes me think of seeing two men directed. Part of
it makes me think that, well, you just aren't feeling
the idea of having a woman as president, and you're
coming up with other offerdis and other reasons for that.

(29:34):
And so now you're thinking about sitting out supporting supporting
somebody who has a history of denegrating you, because if
they that's a side stranger. Because that's why M.

Speaker 16 (29:59):
Man that, respectfully, President Obama, what you said is not acceptable.
I'm gonna say it again, respectfully, what you said is

(30:23):
not acceptable, not to me, not to a host of
black men out there who's not even thinking about voting
for Donald Trump. What you said is unacceptable. I'll tell
you why.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
In a minute.

Speaker 16 (30:43):
Before I do that, I want to go to Khalil Thompson,
co founder and executive director of When with Black Men,
who responded to criticism of Obama's comments.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Take a look at what he had to say here. Quote.

Speaker 16 (30:57):
I believe President Obama is speaking to a tangent, visceral
understanding of what it means for all men to relate
to women in America.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Calling out misogyny is not wrong.

Speaker 16 (31:09):
End quote to co founder Khalil Thompson, You're wrong too,
and what you said is unacceptable. You see what you're
missing is that you're basically accusing black men who come
up with a reason to not support Kamala Harris as

(31:32):
engaging in misogyny. Whatever happened to disagreeing without being disagreeable,
President Obama?

Speaker 1 (31:40):
What happened to.

Speaker 16 (31:41):
That all of a sudden, we want to challenge men
and our love and our affection as black men for
black women. We want to bring that into question because
we've got an election coming up and people may have
the temerity to think differently than you.
