Michael Very show is on the air.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
If you look at those papers, they have a stone
cult and it was President Obama.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
It wasn't lots of people all over the place. It
was them too. But the leader of the yang was.

Speaker 6 (00:25):
President Obama, Barack Hussein Obama.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Have you heard of him. That's the sound of the
men working on the change.

Speaker 7 (00:34):
Day.

Speaker 6 (00:37):
That's the sound of the men working on the change
yang all day long.

Speaker 8 (00:43):
They're saying they were tasked to create an intelligence assessment
that detailed how Moscow tried to influence the election, not if,
but how they knowingly wrote things in this assessment that
were false.

Speaker 6 (00:57):
That's the sound of the men working on the chain. Yay,
that's the sound of the men working on the chain.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Jay.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
There should be no fuzz on this whatsoever. The Russians
interfered in our election. They're in twenty sixteen cycle. They
did it with purpose, they did it with sophistication, they
did it with overwhelming technical efforts, and it was an
active measures campaign driven from the top of that government.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
There is no fuzz on that.

Speaker 7 (01:31):
It is a high confidence judgment of the entire intelligence community.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
That's the sound of the men working on the chain.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yay.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
That's the sound of the men working on the chain.

Speaker 7 (01:47):
Yay.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Can't you hear.

Speaker 9 (01:48):
Them saying it should not be democratic or republican. It
should not be a partisan issue to say that we
do not pressure the Attorney General or the FBI to
use the criminal justice system as a cudgel to punish
our political opponents.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
That's the sound of the men working on the change gay.
That's the sound of the men working on the change
gay all day on the scene. My my, my, mama,
My work is so hard.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Give me water. I'm first in. My work is so hard,
my mama. It is election day. Texas is not really
at the forefront in this election. Just a few things

(02:45):
of note. In the Great Lone Star Estate, a special
election for Congressional District eighteen Congression Congressional District eighteen was
carved out. It's part of the Voting Rights Act in
the early seventies. It was first held by Arbera Jordan,
a black woman. It was a seat designed and carved
jerrymanderd for a black candidate. Robert Jordan served with distinction.

(03:07):
She believed our borders should be closed and people should
work for a living, not be on welfare. She would
be replaced briefly by Craig Washington, and then beginning in
nineteen ninety four up until her death a year and
a half ago, by Sheila Jackson Lee, who would serve
dishonorably in that seat and embarrass a portion of Houston

(03:32):
and black people the country over and Democrats for that matter.
She was replaced by the very corrupt mayor of Houston,
Sylvester Turner, and he would hold that seat for a
brief period of time before he would collapse and die
after a Trump speech as they were walking through the
halls of Congress to return after the event. That seat

(03:54):
has been open since then. It's a special election. So
it's what they would call in California a primary. Everybody
runs regardless of party. There's only one Republican running. Her
name is Carmen Maria Montiel, and she has a shot
because she's the only Republican. She would, if she won,
or whoever wins, will hold that seat through January of

(04:18):
twenty twenty seven. So that's an unexpired term. A term
that is not expired. You would begin serving and serve
about fourteen months or so. Not quite fourteen months, and
then there will be of course next November. It'll be
even numbered years, so there will be a full on
primary in the state of Texas in the fall for

(04:39):
a Democrat candidate and a Republican candidate in a seat
that typically has been Democrat. It was Jerry Mander to
be So there's a Texas Senate District nine special election
in the North Texas suburbs. There's seventeen proposed constitutional amendments.
I am against numbers one, four and fourteen. If you
want my reason for that, it's at Michael berryshow dot com.

(05:02):
You can print a voter guide with you, anybody's voter guide,
and take it in with you. You cannot look at
your phone while you're voting. If they enforce that, they
will Otherwise, the best thing to do is to print
out whatever materials you want to bring with you. You
can consult those while you're voting. There are some local
races in the state of Texas for school districts Bernie ISD,

(05:24):
the Shirt Sibelo University Universal City ISD. There's some city
propositions in places like Dallas and also in Bear County,
which of course is San Antono. But Texas is a
battleground for national trends, so there will be eyes on
what we do here in this state. And what will
be a very low turnout election means that your vote

(05:44):
would count more than it usually would because people want
to see how the Democrats are pushing back in urban
areas and how the Republican messages is carrying to Middle
American Middle Texan voters. It's hard to read much into that, however,
because there's not been an exciting race to get people
to pay attention this time, so we shall see. The

(06:05):
New York mayoral election has been the most talked about,
with zor and Mamdani, the most frightening candidate in the country,
leading against former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is backed by
a lot of Trump allies and a sort of a
sort of wink wink, nudge nudge half endorsement by Donald
Trump of Cuomo. Cuomo was asked, well, how come Donald

(06:27):
Trump is endorsing you because that will hurt him with Democrats,
and he said, you're not endorsing me. He's not for me,
he's against Mamdani. I think that's true. It's a runoff
style contest, so we will see what's going to happen
in the City of New York, but I don't expect
good things. That's a very powerful position, housing, policing, transit
in America's largest city and America's former center of commerce.

(06:51):
California has a statewide special election, a single statewide proposition.
The details vary by county, but it's tied to judicial
and budget matters. You've got some local races in counties
like Santa Clara. All registered voters there will receive mail ballots.
Within person voting available as well. Mail ballots are where

(07:14):
the Democrats cheat. Keep your eye on that. That is
a massive electorate and it'll be a bell weather for
where the Democrats are. The Democrat brand is in the
dump right now. It's in the basement. But we'll see.
California Democrats are just a little different. The kind of
people who disagree with California's politics, much like City of

(07:35):
New York politics. Many of them have left for warmer
climbs in a more reasonable place like Texas, Tennessee, Florida.
In New Jersey, you've got a gubernatorial race and state
assembly races. You've got a governor who is term limited,
that's Phil Murphy. It's a very very competitive state. It

(07:57):
leans purple, it leans blue for the Democrats, but the
Democrat there has been accused of kind of insider trading
on the Dan Crenshaw Nancy Pelosi level. She's leading by
about four to five points depending on the poll, against
Jack Chitdarelli, who President Trump has endorsed. We shall see

(08:18):
what happens there. The race is still within the margin
of error. Every state assemblyman there, I believe, is on
the ballot. It should be an interesting that's going to
be one to watch tonight with Michael Berry Show. Three
years ago today, with reggae catching fire in America, Houston's
own Johnny Nash would hit number one, but I can

(08:41):
see clearly now a song that he wrote becoming the
first reggae tune who topped the chart. I was honored
to call Johnny Nash a personal friend. He and his wife,
Carly had a ranch in Houston in his later years,
and my wife wanted to learn to ride horses. Johnny
was not only a great singer and actor and man,

(09:04):
but he was also quite the cowboy. So he and
his wife taught my wife to ride horses at their ranch,
which was pretty cool, and we sat around and talked music.
Johnny had had some throat surgeries and some throat problems,
so he couldn't sing any longer. He was very hoarse
when he spoke, but he had some great stories about
him and Bob Marleon, and mostly he was just a
wonderful human being. And I miss him and he is terribly,

(09:29):
terribly missed. Back to New Jersey, where a median high
projected to be between fifty five and sixty percent turnout
is expected, boosted by mail in ballots and urban turnout.
That's bad. Keep your eye on that. There's local school boards,
fire districts, municipal questions on the board and Bergen and

(09:50):
Essex County they have some. There are no major ballot issues,
but all eighty seats of the General Assembly I just
checked are up for election or reelection. Virginia in what's
being called an off off year, a trifecta for governor,

(10:12):
lieutenant governor, and Attorney General. Barack Obama, as I mentioned
earlier on the show, has been campaigning for the white
woman against the black woman, the black woman to be
the first black woman Republican governor of the Great State
of Virginia. And yet Obama is out trashing her and
voting for the left wing lunatic white woman Democrat, term

(10:33):
limited Republican governor Glenn youngkin or no consecutive terms allowed,
is off the ballot. It's a purple state. Kamala Harris
surprisingly won by six twenty four, so maybe it's really
turned more blue. We shall see Democrats control of the legislature,

(10:53):
Republicans looking for a sweep. I'm very hopeful we'll see.
It's a toss up. In the polls. Spanburger, the Democrat
is leading win some earls seers the Republican woman by
two to three points, but that again is within the
margin of error. It's going to be a question of
if people turn out to vote, and if they've turned out,

(11:14):
who turns out. Span Burger's a nut. The lieutenant governor
is win some earl seers. She's pushing for tax cuts,
public safety, parental rights. She's the first Jamaican born nominee,
and she raised thirty five million dollars, which is not
enough to win on its own, but it's not bad.

(11:36):
I'd like to see her win. We'll see. That'll be
one to watch that both nominees are women. Kind of
a unique deal. The governor controls redistricting, the budget, and
of course a battleground delegation. That's a prize we need
to win that. The LIGHTGV. Lieutenant Governor election. Halla Ayala,
a former state delegate, is the Democrat against Republican John Reid,

(12:00):
who's a state delegate. It'll be the tiebreaker position for
Senate votes if they come to a tie. A Yalla
again a left winger. We shall see. I'd really like
to see John Reid win. I guess it remains to
be seen. The race that's gotten the most attention is
the attorney general's race, where the former delegate Gerald Jones

(12:25):
texted a friend of his discreetly privately that he'd like
to see his opponent's children's children murdered in front of
their parents, so that his opponent would have to suffer
as he watched his children die. The incumbent Republican about
whom this was said is Jason Millars, and he's seeking reelection.
Millars is the first his fanic attorney general of the

(12:48):
state of Virginia, and we'll see. It's going to be
very very interesting. I'm hopeful Republicans can pull that race
off the House of delegates. All one hundred seats in
Virginia are up. There are two year terms. The Democrats
hold a slim fifty one to forty nine majority in
the tenth district, there the Fairfax suburbs, the fortieth in

(13:11):
Henrico or Enrico, eighty second Virginia Beach, local races in
Clifton and Vienna, Fairfax's public school bond election. It's just
going to be a turnout question. I'm hoping Republicans will
will perform strongly. Let's see, let's see. I am I'm
very keen that that be the case. Yes, I know
that Dick Cheney has died. I'll deal with that tomorrow.

(13:36):
I'm not a Dick Cheney fan. Probably doesn't surprise you,
doesn't surprise you, or shouldn't surprise you one bit. It's
going to be an interesting night of returns tonight. This
is kind of the super Bowl for political insiders as
we see what's going on around the country. One of
the things that will be important to understand is like,

(13:56):
for instance, when you look at the state of Texas,
people will look at the referenda and say, oh, well,
the votes lean left. The Democrat Party has more influence
in Republicans. Well, there's not a hotly contested major Republican race.
There is a Senate race, a state senate race, but
there's a big congressional district race for Sheila Jackson Lee

(14:17):
and Barbara Jordan's old congressional seat. And that's going to
get a bigger turnout than some other areas. So that's
going to skew the statewide. It'll make that much of
a difference. We shall see again, We'll watch that closely.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
The New York.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Mayors race is going to be interesting. I fear that
New York is now lost. I fear that Minneapolis is
now lost. Where you've got a Somali talking about Somalia
being his country in the country he's going to represent,
and he's in cahoots with Ilhan Omar. This is what
happens when immigration reaches a point that a group from

(14:53):
another country can now dominate the politics of a city.
And the Somalis who are coming here do not wish
the America they came to. They wish to rebuild the
Somalia they came from. There is corruption, there is a
different set of values, there is a different religion by

(15:15):
most of them. It's the largest welfare fraud in the
country that occurred in that city. And I don't think
that's a surprise. But Jacob Fry, the city mayor, is
a great example of what you saw with Andrew Cuomo
in New York. The Democrats have been playing with fire
for years, encouraging illegal immigration, encouraging immigration pockets, encouraging people

(15:36):
to vote against those evil white Republicans, until the day
that the fire they've been playing around with consumes them
and they realize that these disparate groups don't need them anymore,
and so they're no longer the spokesman of it, so
it burns them in the process. Minneapolis, a city that
damn near burned to the ground after George Floyd riots

(15:56):
and a city that is absolutely broken, a once wonderful city.
We've seen this in Chicago with Brandon Johnson. We've seen
it in the once wonderful and I'll fight you over
this one. Portland, where the city of Portland was always weird,
but it was a decently well run city and it
was a place you could live without worrying about politics
too much. It's now become one big homeless shelter and

(16:18):
weirdo so on as normal people have fled the city,
and many of them fled the States. And that's unfortunately
it's Michael Berry's show. I've made my name by bunking rock,
but no normal.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
And my Drew colors they are on.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Made a full album this see Bush Now his phoe
beatis on gush. I don't know what to do, but
I still got a nose.

Speaker 10 (16:54):
Is on.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
The cities. I wasn't too charge with Brock died.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Now you.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
We don't think that Biden is a liar and a thief,
so we give them the benefit of the doubt. That's
probably what's going on.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
PRIs around the sady arms lips about.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Ten thousand drones with the thing.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Dude, we are just like to Chaney, Kamala haris is
our queen.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
We got the message.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
We are loyal.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Lead on my side.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
The bargrass lot wasn't charge with died. Now have you
no foundations?

Speaker 5 (17:55):
No foundation?

Speaker 6 (17:58):
Poor valtation.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
The Chinese served as the forty six the vice president
of the United States from two thousand and one to
two thousand and nine under George W. Bush, often described
as the most powerful vice President of the American history.
Chinese influence shaped many of the administration's major domestic and
foreign policies, almost all of them horrible. Before being Vice President,

(18:26):
he was White House Chief of Staff under Gerald Ford
was a congressman from Wyoming's congressional district they only have one.
From seventy nine to eighty nine, he was House a
minority whip. He was a seventeenth Secretary of Defense under
George H. W. Bush. As Defense Secretary, he oversaw major

(18:46):
military operations, including Operation Just Cause in Panama in eighty nine,
Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf War in ninety one,
and in between he cashed in by working in the
private sector as chairman of CEO of Halliburton from ninety
five to two thousand. It's a great gig if you
can get it. You do government, then you do private sector.
Then you do more government, then you do private sector.

(19:08):
Hays Well born in Lincoln, Nebraska, raised in Lincoln and Casper, Wyoming,
attended Yale University. Got a bachelor's and master's degree in
political science from the University of Wyoming. Began as an
intern for Congressman William Steiger, later leading to key roles
of course, in the Nixon and Ford administrations. In two thousand,

(19:29):
he was chosen as George W. Bush's running mate because
Bush was considered a lightweight and a guy who was
not perceived to be an administrator, which that was the
impression we were given of Cheney. He's a firm hand
on the stern. The Bush Cheney ticket defeated Al Gore,
and who was his running mate. He would later go independent,

(19:53):
leaving the Democrat Party Joe Lieberman and in two thousand
and four re elected over John Kerry. And do you
remember who John Carrey's running mate was. Rush Limbaugh famously
called him the breck Girl because he combed his hair
all the time, and it turned out he had a
mistress named Riley who got pregnant and that was inconvenient.

(20:15):
As Vice President, Cheney played a central role in shaping
the administration's response to September eleventh attacks and the War
on Terror, which actually just turned on to be teared
out to be a forever war. Nan Crenshaw loves forever wars.
Then he was an advocate of the two thousand and
three invasion of Iraq because Iraq was somehow behind this,

(20:36):
but they weren't never thee mind. We just lost a
lot of Americans. Young men. Got to support the troops, right,
even when they're being sent into a place they have
no business being. He would leave office as one of
the most unpopular figures in modern American politics, with a

(20:56):
approval rating of thirteen percent seteen percent, whereupon he would
immediately begin criticizing the Republican Party and especially Donald Trump,
and then and then he would go on to endorse
Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in last year's election. So no, no,

(21:19):
I'm not feeling bad about Dick Cheney's death. This is
not a great man just because he held a position.
In fact, quite the opposite. He did a lot of
harm to this country, and if he had his way,
he would have done a lot more, just like FDR
with Pearl Harbard. There's been speculation that Dick Cheney knew

(21:39):
before the planes hit on nine to eleven that the
attack was coming. Jesse Ventura on Pierce Morgan, do.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
You genuinely believe Jesse Ventura, the President George W. Bush
knew none of them was going to happen. Why'd you say, though, No,
what you say? But I believe Dick Cheney knew it. Really,
you believe he knew it was going to happen. I
believe they had a good Well, why did John Ashcroft
quit flying commercial planes that summer and switch only to

(22:06):
private planes? Honesty? Think dictating knew was going to happen?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Tom, Do you really believe it's not irrational?

Speaker 5 (22:16):
Excuse me? Do you really believe that evil people can't
be in charge of governments? If you do, go talk
to the Germans.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Jess Adventure is a complicated figure because some of what
he said and did was absolute idiocy, just stupid showmanship, braggadocious, exaggerating, lying.
I don't think he knew where truth began. But part

(22:47):
of what Jesse Ventura did was very valuable. When a
person is willing to push past whether you're going to
think less of them for holding an un conventional position,
then they're going to lose a great deal of credibility,
but they're going to gain a perspective, and that is

(23:07):
the ability to spot things that other people perhaps wouldn't
be able to see. And who can forget how proud
Dick Cheney was the man who endorsed Kamala Harris of
his daughter Liz for allowing herself to be the leader
of the We're going to take down Donald Trump crew
in the sham January sixth committee, which she was in

(23:28):
charge of. You it's bppartisan. She's a Republican. He even
did this campaign ad for her before she lost.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
In our nation is two hundred and forty six year history,
there has never been an individual who is a greater
threat to our republic than Donald Trump. He tried to
steal the last election, using lies and violence to keep
himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He's
a coward. A real man wouldn't lie to his supporters.
He lost his election, and he lost a big I

(23:55):
know it. He knows it, and deep down, I think
most Republicans know it. So proud of Liz for standing up.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
For the truth.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
I'm doing what's right, honoring her oath to the Constitution.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Let's check in on Timmy Waltz because we know he
loves Dick.

Speaker 10 (24:12):
Hello everyone, and welcome to this week's podcast. As you
can tell, we don't have our normal upbeat Sunnyside Egg
with a touch of rainbow, open music with a Timmy
Walls singers this morning. No, Instead, I had to have
my assistant Bruce roll in his organ because it's a
sad day. Ladies and gentlemen, you can barely say it. Oh,

(24:33):
Dick is dad. You know, I just love Dick, who
look at me too many tears for a Tuesday, I
tell you, we of course love the entire Chaney family.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Liz is absolutely one of our faves.

Speaker 10 (24:48):
You remember she decided to back for the other team
when she back Kamala in last year's election. Oh what
a sweetie. So ladies and gentlemen, please rise and respect Dick,
who one stood very tall.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
They remain scared the death of you, and they remained
scared to death of Trump. To Michael Barry Show, You're
not going anywhere even if Trump does. You're not. Vasque
Pro Shop is becoming the white people's Chuck E cheese,
total ignorance, ignance as a wild brawl breaks out at

(25:24):
the grand opening of a mass pro shop in Odessa, Texas,
and of course it's caught on cell phone video, which
has now gone viral. The story from News nine West
in Midland, also to.

Speaker 11 (25:39):
Be a time to celebrate the first Bess Pro shops
in a Permian basin.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Quickly turned into a massive brawl.

Speaker 11 (25:46):
We don't know what started to fight, but locals say
they're disappointed this happened right here in their backyard. A
brawl at Vasque Pro Shops brought punches, kicks and shouting.
Matches and shoppers left with more than a bargain for

(26:10):
taking bait and tackle a little too seriously on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Being in West Texas is not unexpected, but it's unfortunate
that it happened. It's a bad look with a new
business opening. But it don't I hope it don't deter
people from showing up. You know, some things around here
kind of common. This is a common thing. It is
what it is, turning.

Speaker 11 (26:34):
Opening weekend into a viral moment for all the wrong reasons.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
I actually didn't even hear about it initially.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
A friend of mine in Oklahoma sent me the link
to the video.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
That's how I initially found out about it.

Speaker 11 (26:45):
Police responded to a disturbance Saturday afternoon after a man
became upset with another man while leading in line for
the restroom. The argument escalated into a brawl and spilled
into the lobby, involving several people. Witness to say after
fighters were removed, they returned back to the store and
started fighting again. That's when Bass Pro Shops kicked off

(27:06):
to people who started to fight and officially banned them
from coming back.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
So far, no of us were made and no charges
were filed.

Speaker 11 (27:14):
We also reached out to general manager Rob Pipkin and
he has no comment at this time. However, the store
is open for business.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
What is it about bass Pro Shops that brings out
the crazy people? I do love listening to that. I
do love listening to small town or watching small town
TV reports because they're not polished. And so, so you
got the black woman in the all white Midland, and

(27:46):
so the one person was doing something and another person
was also doing something over here at the bass Pro shop.
Start the story again. At the very beginning, she's attempting
to capture the collective sadness of man. That's why we
can't have nothing nice. We finally got a mass Pro

(28:09):
shop and they had a fight in it. Listen, listen
to the sadness of this holds to be.

Speaker 11 (28:15):
A time to celebrate the first mass Pro shops in
a Permian basin quickly turns into a.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Message she said supposed to be. We don't know what
started she supposed to be holds to be.

Speaker 11 (28:26):
A time to celebrate the first, the best pulsed to
be the time to celebrate the first.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
The basket pro shop celebrate, But we don't celebrate. This
was it, man, This was our moment in the sun.
The whole nation was watching here. Midland is getting a
mass pro shop. But no, we can't have nothing nice.
Y'all messed it up.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
Dang it.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
We worked, you know, they did. You know they did
the ribbon cutting. They had the mayor and all the
commissioners and the councilmen and the share here and everybody
was out there. This is a big day. They put
on their best bolo. This is a big day. We
got a bass pro shop in Odessa, Texas.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
The sky's a limit.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
We can do anything. Now. What is it about bass
pro shops that bring out the crazy and people? A
man in Alabama jumped in a fish tank neked, exposing
his fishing worm. The story from WBrC six News. All

(29:33):
right back here at the first and al Art desk.

Speaker 12 (29:34):
I want to tell you about that Bass Pro shop
story that we mentioned earlier. Now, I do want to
say this. The story has shocking details, but it was
a scary situation for people in Leeds and the Leeds
police officer should they say a man intentionally shruck a
pole before taking off his clothes in the Bass Pro
Shop parking lot, then running into the store and jumping
into that aquarium that fish take Now, I want to

(29:56):
show you video.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Of Bass Pro Shop.

Speaker 12 (29:58):
This is file video that we've had in house a WBrC.
But I just spoke to Leads Police Chief Paul Erwin.
Now that those are the details he gave me. Leads
Police to take him in the custody. They actually took
him to the hospital too. But while this person was
in the back of that police vehicle, he damaged the
back door to Now Chief Erwin does say the man

(30:20):
is suffering from mental illnesses, and he says this is
a dangerous thing for police officers to deal with, and
they're dealing with people who have mental illnesses and are
acting like that. I just texted him. I'm going to
read them the text message. The charges that he faces.
So he faces charges for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault
on police, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, two counts of that.

(30:42):
So this is something we're going to continue to follow.
This morning, but again, just this shocking scenario. We've had
video from viewers who were there at the Beast Pro
Shop last night, so we're going to continue to follow
this story from the first Alert desk.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
We'll go back to the studio.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I love crazy news stories. You probably figured that out already.
Nothing else. It makes you feel good about yourself. You go, well,
I didn't take the trash out when I got home
too late. Maybe I took my boots off on the stairs,
and my socks on the stairs, and my jeans at

(31:18):
the front of the bedroom door, and my underwear next
to the toilet and my shirt next to the tub.
And you know, I mean, I'm not really proud of
myself or anything, but at least I didn't do that.
Can you imagine running into the sporting good store wearing

(31:40):
nothing but what the good Lord gave you and then
what the hell skinny dipping in the store's glass pond.
Why not? That's the kind of fun you seem to
find at the Bass Pro Shop. Lagrange, Texas had the
best little whorehouse in Texas. But Midland, well, Midland has

(32:05):
a pro shop in it a Bass Pro Shop. Now,
I know this is radio, so I want to try
and be as delicate as I can.

Speaker 10 (32:15):
Here goes and may God forgive me. Midland has a
vast pro shop in it.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Midland has a vass pro shop in Head.

Speaker 10 (32:29):
I'll expose the details, though it fills me with disgust.
Please excuse the dirty tuck details.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
And fisticus sales are going on inside it, driving people.

Speaker 10 (32:42):
Wild, fishing lures and chemo clothes for every man and child.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
When suddenly two men argue over soft worms or six
hour slugs, get to throwing fists and they're acting like
some fugs. Now, there's no doubt they're in a fuss.
They should have laid off that angel. Does you know
that Elvis Night's left for your name? Thank you and

(33:07):
good nightsh
