Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's that time, time, time, time, luck and loud. So
Michael Very Show is on the air.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Well, they want to give them another headline, which is
that they've arraigned a Democratic member for taking a phone
call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein in the middle of
a hearing. And of course I don't think there's any
rule here against taking phone calls in a hearing. Are
you saying anybody on your side at the aisle who
had a phone call with Jeffrey Epstein should be censured?

(00:34):
Be careful your answer there, because there's a lot more
that's about to come out, right, So you should think
about what is the principle behind this rush to judgment.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
At the beginning of that hearing, the ranking member Jim
Jordan's had the disrespect to Elijah Cummings, May he rest
in peace and his name be a memory after not
allowing mister Jordan to shut the committee hearing down, and
I turned to mister Jordan and told him to have

(01:06):
respect for the chair and to basically shut up. And
that moment went viral and I began to get innumerable
text from friends, from foes, from constituents about what was
happening in that hearing, and I got a text from

(01:27):
Jeffrey Epstein, who at the time was my constituent, who
was not public knowledge at that time that he was
under federal investigation. They've taken a text exchange which shows
no participation, no assistance, no involvement in any illegal activity,
and weaponized it for political theater, because that's what this is.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
One of the legal counsels or legal fixtures for mister
Epstein was Stacy Plaskett, the Democrat delegate to Congress from
the Virgin Islands. So perhaps for those on the other
side who are interested in talking to Jeffrey Epstein's attorneys,
they can sure visit with one of their own colleagues.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
A Trump is putting together a twenty eight point peace
plan for Russia and Ukraine, having negotiated ten of them
already in fewer months than that. The Democrats are trying
desperately to find something to slow his momentum. Even though
what he's doing is good for the country, it's bad
for the Democrats. What's good for the country is bad

(02:29):
for the Democrats. It's important to understand that wealth, accumulation,
increased opportunity, peace, tranquility, these are bad for the Democrats.
They're horrible for the Democrats. They need to sow discord,
they need people angry. Democrats like Jamie Raskin are trying

(02:50):
to paint Jeffrey Epstein as just a constituent of Stacey
Plaskett calling her during a hearing.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Well, they want to give them another headline, which is
that they've arraigned a Democratic member for taking a phone
call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein in the middle of
a hearing. And of course I don't think there's any
rule here against taking phone calls in a hearing. Now,
if you want to actually give her the chance to

(03:16):
explain what happened, then we would take it to the
ethics Committee. I still don't see what the charge is.
Where is the ethical transgression? Where is the legal transgression?
Are you saying anybody on your side at the aisle
who had a phone call with Jeffrey Epstein should be censured?
Be careful your answer there, because there's a lot more
that's about to come out, right, So you should think

(03:36):
about what is the principle behind this rush to judgment.
I want to close just with this thought, because I
know there were a lot of people in the chamber
who were here when this happened, and a lot who weren't.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Jimmy Raskin is so whiny. He's just snotty whiny. So Plaskett, herself,
not the sharpest tool in the shed, is employing this
same strategy. Here's she does not want to be censured.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I began to get innumerable text from friends, from foes,
from constituents about what was happening in that hearing, and
I got a text from Jeffrey Epstein, who at the
time was my constituent, who was not public knowledge at

(04:27):
that time that he was under federal investigation, and who
was sharing information with me.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
First of all, we all knew he was a pedophile
because he'd been in prison for it ten years before,
served a year. It's not in doubt it had been
known at the point at which this was happening. And
the fact is the Democrats would have denied that this
was even even happening, which is what they do. They
first deny and then they make you prove it. All right,
you prove up the fact that, yes, you were in

(04:59):
conversation with Here are your phone records. We're in control
of the FBI. Now, oh well, yeah, well, shouldn't I
talk to him a minute ago you said you didn't
talk to him. You know, cell phones tend to get
shady characters into big problems. Spouses that are cheating drug
dealers have been brought down with cell phone records. CEOs

(05:20):
have been brought down with cell records. They've all been
busted with phone records that prove they are guilty. Now
we have Stacy Plaskett trading text during a congressional hearing
with Jeffrey Epstein. I feel like these people need their
own cell phone plan.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
Are you a person of shady character looking for a
cell phone carrier that will hide all those skeletons in
your closet, blocked from any friends and family planner because
you're a creepy weirdo that's never.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Allowed around miners.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Maybe you're a constituent needing to call your congressman in
the middle.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Of a hearing.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
We've got the plan for you, introducing the Epstein anonymous
at all times planned.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
The first cell phone that doesn't bring it doesn't.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Buzz, it doesn't make any sounds that would give away
your suspicious behavior, and anyone you might text involving illegal
activity will show up on any and all records as
the group there, we know times are tight and we
don't want to hang you with a bill. This complete
Epstein Anonymous at all Times plan is all yours for
six dollars and sixty six cents a month to activate

(06:21):
now simply texts sixty sixty.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Six to six sixty six sixt' six six six.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
The Epstein at all Times Anonymous plan where suspicious activities
connects you with evil lifestyles?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Oh is this bad for the Democrats? Will hold my
slit small liquor, cause little miss you better beweave it.
Jasmine Crockett stood up on the house floor and she's
gonna don't worry Democrats. I got this. Wat's what I'm
about to do. The Democrats listen at this, folks.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein. As
I had my team dig in very quickly, Mitt Romney,
the nrcc les, George bush Win, Read McCain, Palin, Rick Lazio.
I just want to be clear. If this is the

(07:09):
standard that we gonna make, just know we're gonna expose
it all. And just know that the FEC filings they
are available for everybody to review.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Well, just know the sister snapped those fingers. Just know
they did all take money from Jeffrey Ebstein. It's a
common name. It was a different person, sister girl. It
was a doctor who made small donations to those candidates.
That has been checked out and confirmed. Y'all better know.
We ainte playing Jasmine.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
We apply HS, the four Hour System from the Michael
Arry Show, and other leading companies.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Congressman Jim Jordan took to the House floor and laid
out why Democrats are suddenly overnight interested in the Epstein files.

Speaker 7 (07:54):
We all support holding bad guys accountable, and we're all
gonna vote for this resolution. A little perspective is important.
Democrats have had spent six months talking about Epstein, even
though they had four years to do something about it. Now,
why would they do that? Why would they do that?

(08:15):
Maybe it's to go after President Trump. Never forget. They
shut down the government for forty three days. They said,
don't worry about our military, don't worry about air traffic controllers,
don't worry about our economy, don't worry about American families. No, no, no,
close the government for a month and a half because
it might hurt the president.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
For the past.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
Decade, there's been one constant for Democrats, one constant, go
after Trump. They spied on his campaign. Then it was Muller,
Then it was impeachment one. Then it was impeachment two.
Then it was all the Lawfair, Alvin Bragg, Fannie Willis,
Leticia James. Then it was Ardy Frost investigation at the

(08:57):
Justice Department, surveilling United States senators and congressmen and a
whole hust of other Americans. Then it was Jack Smith
and his gag orders and his rating President Trump's home.
Then it was a forty three day shutdown. And now
it's Epstein. And by the way, by the way, the
same party that did all that, they were also the

(09:17):
ones who were texting with mister Epstein during a hearing
where Michael Cohen was their witness in another effort to
go after the President American see through it all, and frankly,
it's actually kind of sad, this obsession, this syndrome, this
mindset that says we got to go after President Trump

(09:38):
no matter what that they have.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
He's right, that's what all of this is. It's never
about the thing they say it's about. Just remember that
it's never about the thing they say it's about and
by the way, Virginia Jeffrey was an Epstein victim and
the ghostwriter of her posthumous That means after she died.
Or Amy Wallace was on CBS Morning News recently where

(10:05):
she was asked about President Trump and if he was involved.
Here is an Epstein victim being asked the ghostwriter of
her memoir anyway, was Trump involved?

Speaker 8 (10:18):
Did she mention President Trump at all in your discussion?

Speaker 1 (10:21):
She absolutely did.

Speaker 8 (10:23):
I was in Australia in October, a month before, weeks
before the presidential election. She was a huge Trump fan.
Two reasons for that. One, she had met Trump on
numerous occasions because she worked at mar Lagas Spa in Florida,
which he owns, and her father also worked there and

(10:45):
knew Trump pretty well, so she was introduced to Trump.
He was kind to her. The second reason she wanted
Trump to be president was because he campaigned on releasing
the Epstein files and she was excited about that. So, yes,
we talked about Trump.

Speaker 9 (11:06):
A lot as a crusader to release the Epstein files.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
In that sense, she.

Speaker 8 (11:11):
Was very excited that he had made that one of
the main planks of his campaign, and she felt validated
by it, but she.

Speaker 9 (11:22):
Never talked about him in any sense that he was
involved in any of this.

Speaker 8 (11:25):
No, No, he was not as far as she knew.
And again, she was there for two plus years, but
as far as she knew, he was not involved in
the in the ring of trafficking that Epstein was working.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Can you tell how disappointed she is that she's hearing that?
So was Trump involved?

Speaker 8 (11:49):
No?

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Are you sure he went involved? Positive, he wasn't involved.
So it wasn't involved.

Speaker 10 (11:56):
No.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Do you think you would have liked to have been involved?

Speaker 10 (11:59):
No?

Speaker 1 (12:00):
You think he ever fantasized about being a b No?
Do you think he was ever in the same city
while it was going on? I know there's some way
we can putting this on Trump. C an N's Anna
Navarro boy, she is a dislikable, unlikable little hag. And
Abby Phillips were not happy with Scott Jennings for pointing
out that Epstein was programming Democrat members of Congress, which

(12:24):
is exactly what he was doing.

Speaker 9 (12:25):
Having email exchanges does not mean that they did something
very summers okay.

Speaker 10 (12:30):
But or Stacey Plaskett, Yes, the fact that they're.

Speaker 9 (12:32):
Heading exchanges that may not be. I do think it
is wrong. I mean, people like DEPA.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Does your concern apply to Stacey Plaskett? You just hear me,
and you just hear me.

Speaker 11 (12:52):
I think that's very being you for you to call
out and the aims of only the Democrats but not
apply the very same logic to everyone. Hold on, you're
basically saying if you're named in these documents. I guess

(13:13):
you're saying that they should be condemned. Anna is basically saying, yeah, let.

Speaker 12 (13:16):
It all out.

Speaker 11 (13:16):
But you're the only one who's making a carve out
for one person, and that's Donald Trump.

Speaker 10 (13:20):
There's no evidence that he had any contact with Epstein
after he excommunicated him, But we do have evidence that
he was programming Democrat members of Congress.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Why is it that, I guess the point is we
just don't know. We do, we absolutely know he was programming.
They don't like when the truth is exposed. That's what
upsets them. They don't like when the truth is exposed.

(13:49):
The truth is, the Democrats stand for nothing. They don't
really have underlying principles. The people writing their checks do.
But the Democrat's only goal is power and then the
ability to monetize that power, how to convert that power
into cash, and we've seen the various ways they do it.

(14:10):
Hunter Biden wasn't unique, he wasn't the first. He was
just the most gross about it. It was grotesque because
he wanted as much as he could get, as fast
as he could. He knew his pops might die any minute,
and he had other mouths to feed. He had to

(14:30):
kick ten percent up to the big guy. He had
Tony Bobby Lensky, he had the President's brother, and he
was feeding a beastly set of addictions, sexual drug and
battling all the wild mental health conditions whose onset was
probably related in large part to his drug abuse. Pretty

(14:55):
darn good chance of that. I think there's a good
likelihood of it. We're coming up members of the Democrat
Party in Congress calling on military members to ignore the
orders of the chief executive, of the commander in chief.

(15:17):
Can you imagine what it's happening?

Speaker 9 (15:22):
Many more prosing values, a million dollar record sale.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
No, now, I would say this is treason. Members of
the Democrat Party have released a video imploring members of
the military to ignore orders from the president to help
with his crime crackdown.

Speaker 13 (15:40):
I'm Senator Alissa Soockins, Senator Mark Kelly, Representative Chris S.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Deluzio, Congress good Land. You're Representative Chrissy Hulahan. Congressman Jason Crowe.
I was a captain in the United States.

Speaker 14 (15:50):
Navy, former CIA officer, former Navy, former paratrooper and Army ranger.

Speaker 15 (15:55):
Former intelligence officer, former Air Force.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
We want to speak directly to members of the military and.

Speaker 9 (16:00):
The intelligence community to take risks each day keep Americans safe.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now.

Speaker 16 (16:07):
Americans trust their military, but that trust is at risk.

Speaker 10 (16:10):
This administration is pitting our uniform military.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
And intelligence community professionals against American citizens. Like us. You
all swore an oath protect them this substitution. Right now,
the threats to our constitution aren't just coming from a rod,
but from right here at home. Our laws are clear.
You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders.
You must refuse illegal orders.

Speaker 16 (16:34):
No one has to carry out orders that violate the
law or our constitution.

Speaker 10 (16:38):
We know this is hard and that it's a difficult
time to be a public servant.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
But whether you're serving in the CIA, the Army, or Navy,
the Air force. Your vigilance is critical, and know that
we have your back, because now more than ever, the
American people need you.

Speaker 13 (16:53):
We need you to stand up.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
For our laws, our constitution, and who we are as Americans.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Don't give up. Don't give up. Don't give up. Don't
give up the ship. These are people who hate the military.
These are people who a few years ago, under Donna
Shalela as the Health and Human Services Director, declared the
greatest threat to the United States as being white male

(17:21):
military members coming home from war. That's what they were
welcomed with. That they were all a bunch of Timothy mcveigh's.
And if they questioned the role of government and the
creep of its size, if they opposed abortion, then they
were all potential terrorists and eyes should be kept on

(17:41):
them closely. Now they're telling those people, hey, hey, we
love you, don't give up the ship. What other kind
of little terminology can we throw in there? And why
so that you can protect the illegal aliens? Is that it?
A seventeen year old illegal from Mexico was accused of
attacking a woman with a hammer while she was jogging

(18:03):
in the park. Who are these savages? We don't need
them Rook Taylor of Fox News with the.

Speaker 16 (18:09):
Story, this is a busy and popular park already this morning,
we've seen several people out alone on walks. Police say
that a woman was on a jog when a man
attacked her with a hammer. This all happened on Thursday
around five pm. The details here they're disturbing. Plano police
tell us the woman was hit in the head with
the hammer several times. She managed to fight the man

(18:31):
off and he ran away. Four hours later, police had
a suspect in custody. They arrested seventeen year old Sergio
Noi de Nova Duertte and a legal migrant from Mexico.
According to DJs, he came in on a tourist visa
and then in March of twenty twenty four, he was
arrested for burglary and larceny. He was arrested under the

(18:53):
Biden administration and was released back into the community with
a notice to appear now. The woman was taken to
the hospital with serious injuries, but police say it could
have been a lot worse because duct.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Tape was found at the scene.

Speaker 16 (19:07):
Many people in this area are on high alert right now,
looking out for one another.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
We should walk up alone, right. I mean, there's always
two of us or three, and.

Speaker 12 (19:17):
We know lots of people that are out here, so
if we see somebody we don't know, then we avoid
that area.

Speaker 16 (19:23):
And the suspect is charged with kidnapping with bodily injury
and ICE has launched a detainer against him. I reached
out to DHSS Bill. They just sent us this statement
a few moments ago, saying, quote, this criminal, illegal alien
should have never been loose in our communities to attack
this woman jogging in a park with a hammer.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
They tell us it doesn't happen, but it does. They
tell us they don't commit fraud, but they do. They
tell us they don't murder us, but they do. They
engage in fraud, they engage in murder. We don't need
illegal alien. They are, by their nature criminals. They've committed
a crime to even get here in the first place.

(20:08):
Texas Deprotment of Public Safety joined federal and local officials
to bust a human trafficking operation in San Antone. ABC
thirteen in San Antone with the story and this is
what the movement of the people is about. It's not
about providing people with more opportunity. They're not seeking asylum.
They are mules. They are the product in a chain,

(20:28):
a criminal enterprise chain. They are being trafficked. Little girls
and boys are being raped. They're being sold to the
highest bidder. It is evil. There is a moral imperative
to stop it.

Speaker 15 (20:43):
Early this morning, a large law enforcement present drawing several
agencies of San Pedro and Vassie. This is area just
north of Almost Park. It still has the road closed
this morning. Devin Karp is live there with what we've
heard back from SAPD and the FBI confirming this is
a federal investigation. Devin, a lot of different agencies still

(21:05):
out there.

Speaker 14 (21:08):
Yeah, Sarah, they're still here, and we've seen about three
more cars get towed here since we last spoke with you,
just at the top of the eight am hour.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Let's go ahead and take a look over here.

Speaker 14 (21:16):
You can still see a lot of different law enforcement officers,
some saying police.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Some have FBI.

Speaker 14 (21:21):
I've even seen some atf jackets with a lot of
cars supposedly from federal agents that are still over here.
They appear to be going through the last poyet. That's
snack shack right over there. That pink trailer over there,
We've seen them go through multiple cars, hearing car alarms
go off as they work under their investigation. We're trying

(21:41):
to figure out exactly what's going on. Some of the
nearby neighbors who have just been walking through that area
have said they had no clue anything was even going
on until this. But if you guys want to look,
we got a look at some of the video of
what happened last night when this all started around two am.
On this you can see one of our crews came
across those multiple law enforce agencies, which includes SAPD and

(22:03):
the DPS with helicopters and a drone. Witnesses also reported
hearing loud bangs with several smoke. People seeing smoke in
the area and taken out in handcuffs. At this time,
officers on scene. If we're not released any details about
what's going on, and we actually did just hear back
from the FBI in a statement they sent to us,
If you guys want to be able to look at
that on your screen, it says, quote, I can confirm

(22:25):
that FBI San Antonio and Homeland Security Investigation San Antonio,
along with their local, state and federal partners, are conducting
court authorized activity and the vicinity and the intersection of
San Pedro and Bassie.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Road in San Antonio, Texas.

Speaker 14 (22:38):
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
On last night's show, you heard from Delicia Ballager. She
was supported by a charity that was founded by one
of our listeners called we Can't be Silenced. We Won't
be Silenced. No, we's sorry, we won't be canceled. We
won't be canceled dot org. They're the ones who brought

(23:04):
her to my attention. And she was the black woman
writing for a paper that is all black to an
audience that is primarily black about issues of what they
call the black community in Memphis. And she talked about
President Trump sending in federal troops has made her neighborhood better.
She can hear the birds chirp, was her line. She

(23:24):
feels safe, she can walk around. For that, she was
fired because how dare you say that Trump's doing a
good job when he is. Why wouldn't you want the
people of Memphis or anywhere else in America to live
in more safety than they had before? And when they do,
why do you criticize them for that? Are they supposed
to say life is worse under Trump. He's a rapist,

(23:45):
he's a rapist, he's a king, he's a misogynist, he's
whatever else. But you can see that your life is better.
In this case. We have people who are victims of
crimes by Democrat policies, and Trump is trying to stop it,
and they're criticizing him for that. I have to believe
there are still enough Americans in this country who love

(24:07):
America enough who say, I think that's a good thing.
Way to go, Donald Trump, you'd for the freedom to
wote that.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Michael berrys Joe direction.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
I says announced that they will be performing welfare checks
on the four hundred and fifty thousand children that the
Biden administration placed with unvetted sponsors. Fox News will have
the story. But let's be clear what an unvetted sponsor is.
Let's say, let's take the case of I don't know
Elizabeth Smart, for instance, she was secreted away from where

(24:49):
she lived and her family by an unvetted sponsor. I
suppose we could say, or we could take the case
of Ariel Castro or Amanda Barrier, Shell Knight or Polyclass.
There are so many J. C. Duggard Natasha Campoosh, there

(25:11):
are so many who were taken by unvetted sponsors. I'm
sure there are some decent, honorable do gooder people who
took in children who were sent to this country and
raped along the way. We know this, and I'm sure
there are some do gooder people who simply wanted to
take them in and try to help them. And I'm

(25:34):
sure there are some people who took them in to
use them as sex toys. And I'm sure there are
some people who took them in to use them as
sex toys and then sell them to other people to
do the same thing. Because it's hard to come by victims,
you see. But these are ready made victims. They have
no parent calling on them. In fact, there's no welfare check.
You're handed a child to abuse, which for these people

(25:57):
is indulging their fantasy. These people are willing to go
to third world countries, brave the elements and dangers to
engage in this sick perversion, and now it's being handed
to them in their living room and there's no one
to stop them. My god, this is the most evil
thing I can imagine. So I says, we're going to

(26:19):
check on these kids, We're going to see what you're
doing with them. We're going to see how many of
them are being trafficked. Let me see how many of
them don't? Are not at the location where they're supposed
to be. Where are they? You were the sponsor for
this child. Why has this child now been handed to
someone who paid a bunch of other people for children?
The story from Fox.

Speaker 13 (26:40):
News Ice announcing a brand new operation to conduct welfare
checks on the four hundred fifty thousand children that the
Biden administration placed with unvetted sponsors, some of whom were
sex traffickers, gang members, and abusers. The Trump administration has
already located more than twenty four thousand, four hundred children,

(27:02):
and some of these stories are absolutely heartbreaking.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Like this one.

Speaker 13 (27:06):
A one year old unaccompanied minor crossed the border during
the Obama administration.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
That little girl is now twelve years old.

Speaker 13 (27:14):
During her eleven years in America, she lived with a
series of relatives and endured horrifying abuse. According to Fox's
Brook Tailor, she was found in the custody of two
sisters who have now been arrested. The twelve year old
was found quote with injuries all over her body, extreme
malnutrition and an infected gash on her head and zip

(27:35):
ties around her wrist. Among those who abused this innocent
child were her one time sponsor, a distant uncle that
she was placed with in twenty twenty four, despite being
an a legal immigrant with a criminal conviction. That sponsor,
that alleged abuser, was given temporary protected status by the
Biden administration. Why here is video that Brooke Taylor obtained

(27:58):
of the Trump administration arrest seeing that man just yesterday.
This is just one of the nearly half a million
children that the Trump administration is seeking to protect. And
this operation comes after the administration announced that Operation dirt Bag,
conducted in partnership with the State of Florida, resulted in
the arrest of two hundred and thirty criminal illegal immigrants,

(28:20):
including one hundred and fifty sexual predators. Here was Deputy
Ice Director Madison Sheehan announcing that development.

Speaker 12 (28:27):
In just ten days, we've been able to remove, in
partnership with the State of Florida, over two hundred and
thirty of the worst of the worst, heinous criminals from
their streets. Our job as law enforcement is to protect
the most vulnerable. Democrats will tell you that that is
the criminal, illegal aliens who if they have let run

(28:47):
free in our communities, but not this group of law enforcement.
We know that it's the children that is our job
to protect.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
It's sick, sick, it's couched in the terms of kindness,
but what it is is pure evil. The Queen City
News in Charlotte, North Carolina, reports that schools in Charlotte
are reporting two thirds of their students are absent now

(29:17):
that Border Patrol is conducting raids. My children are not
absent from school despite the fact that ICE is conducting
raids in Houston, because my children are not illegal aliens.
The only people who have anything to fear is people
who don't want to go back to the crap hole
they came from when they came here illegally. Two thirds

(29:40):
of the students are absent. Does that mean two thirds
of the students are illegals? Does that mean taxpayers are
paying for the schooling of people in this country illegally.
We can't afford our own schooling, much less the schooling
of the rest of the world, even if they come here.
The cost. The cost has never been accurately developed, it's

(30:03):
never been accurately tabulated, so that people fully understand. Oh
you think that these are legal aliens? Save you a
nickel on a head of cabbage, Well, guess what it
costs you. Guess what it costs you.

Speaker 17 (30:18):
We are learning new details about how the presence of
Border Patrol and the Queen City is impacting learning at
the area's largest school district. For the second day in
a row, students at several schools walked out in protests
of the border patrol deployment here in Charlotte, But an
educator now tells us that's not the main.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Reason classrooms are empty.

Speaker 17 (30:39):
Queen City News anchor Will Lewis spoke with the teacher,
who says the uptick and absences is a direct result
of Operation Charlotte's Web Like I'm Recognized.

Speaker 10 (30:48):
David Gillespie says, the last twenty four hours have been tough.

Speaker 18 (30:52):
I don't represent the CMS district nor my.

Speaker 10 (30:54):
School, but he's seen what two days of Customs and
Border Patrol agents taking more than what one hundred and
thirty people into custody.

Speaker 18 (31:02):
I'm just sharing my opinion as a teacher in the
Charlotte area.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Does to students.

Speaker 18 (31:07):
My homeroom class typically has sixteen students in it, we.

Speaker 10 (31:10):
Had four district Wide, there are one hundred and forty
five thousand and thirty students enrolled in Charlotte Mecklenburg schools
on Monday thirty thousand, three hundred and ninety nine were absent,
twenty eight thousand, one hundred and thirty six unexcused. While
CMS doesn't break down the numbers by ethnic origin, Gillespie,
a multi lingual teacher, did.

Speaker 18 (31:32):
Children of parents from in Gola from Vietnam, but the
students who were whose parents come from Latin American countries
were the students we were missing. So that was kind
of the line, even among the mL students, is that
we were missing Hispanic students.

Speaker 10 (31:47):
Davis says news of the operation reached his students well
before they entered the classroom on Monday. He says those
who have come back are still scared, and he's unsure
if or when the other students will return.

Speaker 18 (32:01):
They should be able to come there and get their education.
They should be able to come there and spend time
with their friends, socialized.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
They should feel secure.

Speaker 10 (32:08):
Gillespie says these days were not in his lesson plan,
but it's a lesson everyone should learn.

Speaker 18 (32:15):
Ice is never going to come to the school. Border
patrol's not going to come to the school. And I
think what was chilling about yesterday is that it was
demonstrated that they don't have to come to the school
to affect the school. They don't have to step foot
on the property to impact students.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Well before they were students, there were residents and nationals
of another country, and they are still nationals of that
country and not this country. So they're not actually students.
They're trespassers. And I understand that you've grown attached to them.
I understand your God complex. You think that you're saving
all of them, but you don't have the authority to

(32:53):
do that. They are nationals of other nations. And just
as we can't go to other nations, you just take
up residents and get all of their welfare and all
their free education. They can't do that here. We have
chosen that. If you want to change the law, try it.
Try it. If you just change the law to make
legals illegal illegal, it is legal, that's all. If you
know why you can't because it's unpopular,
