I’m Mylaine Riobé (that’s pronounced Mee-Len Ree-o-bay). I figured out pretty quickly that med school didn’t exactly prepare me for my clients’ biggest complaint: exhaustion and burnout. To resolve my own burnout, I realized I had to go beyond the textbooks and traditional medical training to find real answers—and now I’m committed to helping others do the same. The most important things I’ve learned as a doctor came after I hung up that diploma, and I’m here to share that hard-earned knowledge with you. If you’re done being tired all the time, I’m ready to guide you through it. I’m a board certified medical doctor specializing in integrative and functional medicine, with a solid background in Eastern/Chinese medicine, which I studied for 5 years after my OB/GYN board certification. I completed a 2-year Chinese medicine internship with my mentors, Drs. Liping Chang and Fu, Di. As a board-certified OB/GYN, I found out the key to overcoming burnout and preventing diseases didn’t come from med school—it came from my own journey of tackling these challenges head-on with the additional training I completed in functional/integrative medicine and Chinese medicine! I founded Awakened Wellness in 2022 and served as the Medical Director of the Riobe Institute of Integrative Medicine from 2009-2023 when I decided to move back to NYC! From 2018 - 2023, I shared my insights on the Awakened Wellness Now Podcast, helping others crush burnout and thrive. Now you can join me on my new podcast “The Burnout Resolution” every Wednesday at noon ET. My entrepreneurial spirit drove me to create programs that actually make a difference—no fluff, just real results. Along the way, I’ve picked up a few accolades, including being named Top Doc in Jupiter, Florida, in 2020. I’m also the author of ”FAITH: Fearlessly Affirming and Intending to Transform Health” and ”The Answer to Cancer,” and a co-author of the Amazon best-seller Empowered Aging. All this reflects my dedication to transforming health and empowering people to live their best lives - burnout-free! I’m a proud mom of two amazing Gen Z’ers and a fitness enthusiast. Fun fact: I won my first figure competition just six months after giving birth. Before that, I was the first basketball player in my high school to score 1,000 points and got recruited to play Division 1 basketball for Columbia University. I’ve also dived deep into Shamanism and meditation, bringing even more depth to my approach to health. After completing my board-certification in OB-GYN, I found out the hard way that all those years of training didn’t prepare me for the most important mission of all: helping my clients prevent diseases and resolve burnout! With 20+ years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping clients get their energy, vitality and joy back for good! Let’s get you back on track—without all the unnecessary noise. Blessings, - Dr. Mylaine Riobe
