Welcome back to the nerdy news youneed to know throughout the week on IHEARTRADI
went bad cash services around the world, because my name's for that, you
know, Kevin, And you're officiallylistening to this talk a light episode of
what keV Crisis on Infinite Podka.Good Job Teddy. JB. Perry is

(00:34):
going through some stuff. JB.Perry is going through some stuff, which
we will talk about in what YouDo in section of this podcast. But
we got a jamp backed show foryou today in case you're new, because
hey, we posted on social mediathat we're live recording. My name's Hoddie,
that's Kevin. We give you thenerdy news you need to know from
video games, TV shows, movies, everything in between. We got you

(00:57):
covered your one stop shop that's alittle bit nerdy, you know, one
stop shop for nerdy shop talk there. It's like Star Wars at rhyme sort
of not really, it didn't ramat all. Not a rapper, a
rhymer, not a poet. Don'tcall me a poet, but you can
call me a guy. But wegot a jamp back show for you today.

(01:19):
We're talking about the Boys post seasonfour. What's happening with that,
even though season four is upon usessentially right now, is this podcast recording,
We're tall Arcane season two finally gettingits trailer. Alamo Draft House probably
gonna have some big changes coming toit soon in the near future, if

(01:40):
that's if that's your theater of choice, And as we said at the time
of the podcast, it is talka Light for the Acolyte. Episode three
aka Destiny given sort of a nonspoiler our breakdown and our predictions for what's
next on that new Star Wars show. I believe the press got the first
four and a lot of the pressliking it. But we'll get into all

(02:05):
that stuff later because I have somethings to say. I'm just kind of
kind of over it. You realizethat sometimes the for you feature on X
Man, it's never good nothing, nothing's good for you there on you know,
it's always something toxic. Usually Ifollow about form of the people,
and that's what I'm look at.I don't look at anything else anymore.
That's what happens. But you cansee everything we talk about today on the

(02:28):
show and so much more by goingto Hot Honey nine to five dot com
slash Crisis Crew, or could stayup to day on nothing nerdy news you
need to know on social media isat infinite underscore, but it's on the
Instagram or the X go and giveit to you. Which fun fact in
case you didn't realize this, Uh, they switched the ur l. It's
now x dot com and not Twitterdot com if you're one of those people

(02:50):
that type it in on the website, so it doesn't work anymore. Redirect
it still redirects, but I havea feeling barely about that. This year
they're gonna like park it so thatway Twitter goes nowhere, but they still
own the domain, so I stillcall it Twitter personally. Tweet, Well,
apparently you can't if you like thingsnow, it doesn't show anybody that

(03:12):
you like them, so have atit. I guess I don't know.
I mean, this is a question. It's a creepy to look at what
other people are liking on on Instagramand Facebook. Is that a creep move?
I don't know. I feel likeno one uses that though, like
if oh, sometimes I'll get likeoh you or me repost retweet, reposted
it. Yeah, sometimes rare occasion, Kevin liked this photo or whatever.

(03:37):
But I don't go to someone's profilethen because it's always at the end of
that like top line bar on Twitterand go to their likes. It's kind
of weird anyway to be like, hmm, what's he like? H Oh,
that's what you really like. Idid not want to know that at
all. It's just like it's like, you know, whatever you go with.

(03:58):
It's kind of like what it waslike saying the only thing that's in
there is hurting pain. It's justjust hurt. Why go into it?
Nothing nothing good out of there, you know. But Kevin, where can
they watch us live, record thepodcast whenever they want and maybe be part
of the conversa or whenever they want, or watch us record the podcast live
and be part of the conversation. You can be part of a conversation with

(04:20):
us twice a week on twitch dottv slash if the Underscore pods you want
us in the chat and have funwith your boys, or you can watch
us off your own leisure. Youwatch episodes in the past, but episodes
not in the future, band andnow I guess it and now in the
present on YouTube dot com slash. If you Underscore pods like us, subscribe
to us and hit that bell sowe know, we got new episodes to

(04:41):
watch, baby, ring that bell, Ring the bell, you know,
that's what it is. But uh, yeah, I always got good content
going up there, and uh hopefullywe will you know, hopefully be revamping
some things in the near future, potentially this summer. Good revamps. Maybe
see more of the rooms were inmore than anything, or more of our

(05:04):
chests if you would like. Ineed to see my head. Rest of
my body is just fan so youknow, I got to see what's under
them, Kevin, Well, Ihave I have a picture saved my Yeah,
they don't need to see that. They don't need to see that.
Sometimes, you know, when youcan you connect, the camera connects to

(05:26):
the wrong camera and instead of showingyour top, it shows your bottom.
Luckily wore pants that day. Sothe question, the question is wat that
camera there in the first place. What's where the laptop is that runs the
show? Kevin, I can't helpit. I don't have that. I
have a fine out amount of spaceI can put things, and this is
what works. Leave my process alittle, leave my process alone. Leave

(05:46):
that's what I call my my assLeave my processes alone, my processes.
But we always start the podcast properlywith what you're doing. We talk about
the games we've been playing, showsand movies we've been watching, lives we've
been living. And because it isThursday, yeah, Boy gets to go
first, and pretty much right now, nothing new waiting for Bridgeton to come

(06:12):
out tomorrow on top of the Boys, and we have House with the Dragon
coming out officially this Sunday. Iknow it was wrong last week. Whatever
been dabbling a little bit more inFallout four. I think I'm about four
hours in so far, just tothe free time I've had for it.
And it's funny. I went ona completely different path than I did the
first time. Instead of going down, I went right, no, like,

(06:32):
let's get go this way instead, and so it's very different. Anything
is more challenging, that's challenging,it's pretty much the same. Luckily,
like it's now that it's been essentiallyabout a month since you know, TikTok
took over Fallout four when it gotre released on new next gen consoles,
So it's been very fun of likecherry picking, oh, these tips will

(06:55):
help you with fall Out four, and then going to the IGN wiki guide,
which is very outdated for Fallout fouror because it's not ready for twenty
twenty four clicks and all that stuff. And also agn wiki guys, can
you please, like, look,I get you need ads to sell to
pay your employees. Can we tonedown the pop up ads control something?
They can't even scroll on the page, it's crazy. Or the worst is

(07:16):
when you're like you're on a wiki, whether it's IGN or anything, and
you have to scroll down like threefourths of whatever window you're on and then
all of a sudden, pop upad makes you go all the way back
to the top, like come on, I was right there, killing me,
killing me, and then more andI are moving next month. So
now we're kind of we're at theage where we're quoting movers because I hurt

(07:41):
my back last time we moved apartmentsand had to go to a chiropractors.
So that kind of costs more moneythan it should have. And uh so
now we're trying to look at moversand it's not cheap. It's not cheap
at all. Yeah, movers good, you pay for so more you pay
the best space you get, butyou're gonna pay. Yeah, So we're

(08:03):
trying to figure out I we're doingthat or not and if not, I'm
like, well, let's hurt myback again. If we gotta do it.
If you still have your young lifeconnects, get some some strapping young
legs. Hey, young lads, get over here. There's a pizza in
it for you, one pizza, one for all eight of you, one

(08:24):
slice each. We want to putthem in school. Slices. Is that
slices? Pizza is like five pizzasand one pizza. It's not the same
pizza. Enjoy, enjoy. Butthat's what I've been doing, cav.
What you've been doing, good,Bud. I mean I have someone to
a new pastime. I came homeyesterday and hopefully it was outside. Wife

(08:46):
cleaned out her car, and she'sjust today with her last day of work.
So yesterday, yeah, get thatbreak, yeah, get some break
here. Baby. While she wasdoing all that, I took the baby,
little baby here, the baby careand over to our hammock we have
in our backyard and I laid downon a hammock at the big mousky.
I was like, I should dothis more often. I think I stumble

(09:07):
into an Hammick man over here exactly. Hammick and TikTok might be the new
new move. Now, have yougot into ENO's or you just whatever you
get off of Amazon or from Walmart, Amazon, Amazon. Okay, So
like Eno is like a whole,Like there's a whole religion and group behind
just just hammocking and Enos. Sowhy is everything a social? Social?

(09:31):
It all is? You're in allthese I do something. You're an Aldi
Savior, You're part of the oldiegroup for the Aldie fines, or you're
an EEno hammocker with the adults Disneyadults. Uh, eos, it's the
same thing as a hammock. ButI only know because of my my young
life days, because you know,in Patagonia was kind of the move for

(09:54):
for that type of stuff. Isaw someone stack up five eos on top
of each other on top of thisgiant ass tree and you had to climb
up on it, you know, climb up on another, you know,
five four times essentially to get upto the top one. And they were
like, honey, you want todo it. I was like, nope,
I'm staying on the first one.And that's it. Yeah, I
was. I put it together likethree weeks ago, and I was kind

(10:16):
of nervous, and it's kind oflike shitky getting into it. It's okay
a Minute'm getting out. I don'tknow. But then yesterday, like it
was a nice thing yesterday too,I went too hot. So then there's
nice little breeze. I was like, man, you got one that has
If you have one that has apocket on the side, you and put
your phone in, just have thelittle soundtrack going on, put a little
pillow in there. Almost fell asleepas I didn't fall asleep because I sleep

(10:37):
on my chest and I want tofall asleep, and we both fall out
to them. Now I take thatout here. Now, would you spend
the night in the hammock? Oris that too much for my neighborhood?
Yes, because we have three orfour different packs of deer around. They're
nocturnal. They I don't want towake up, and they nipping at me

(11:00):
exactly, So I don't think Iwould do it over Maybe in the not
even in the fall. It's evenworse than the No, probably not,
probably not, just because of thatlives in the treatment near me as well.
And I was very loud. Idon't want to I don't think of
food loud ass, it's very loudactually, like, dude, shut up.

(11:20):
Other than that, I haven't beendoing much of anything else, really
getting acquaintedy of work. I didn'tmake a poncho at work yesterday. Oh
we have these really old w bAL news radio. I guess we would
throw blankets for people. Probably feellike because we used to do a lot
of high school games back in theday, so probably people don't want to,
you know, say warming at agame. So I was cold and

(11:41):
I didn't have my my pollover onme, so I was just like,
I have to throw we got soI just kind of like just got ahold
of it. No one cares aboutthis now I'm stylish for work. It's
just funny walking walking around the radiostations, people kind of doing double tape,
like here's Kevin, Kevin, didyou get that? It's in the

(12:01):
closet. Everyone can get one.My my PD say that's fine. Just
make sure that when a GM comesto say that I don't have it one,
that's fine. How you keep iton? Kevin? You're unlocking a
new promotional material for your radio station, WBACH. Who doesn't want one?
I mean I almost bought a panchoA few times in my life. I've
been talk out of it. Eachtime either by family members or wives.

(12:24):
So at work, when no one'sthere, I can do it up.
You can do whatever you want here. I'm in charge. Sure, I'm
wearing. Other than that, I'vekind of been hinting of my Father's Day
gift. Three days before Father's Day, I really really want to astro megasord,
So I'm trying to move that intoexistence. It might be a little

(12:46):
too late to get that three dayturnaround for an astro megazord. Well let's
see, because Amazon prom is awonderful thing when it works. Let's see
how long does it take to getto me? If ordered today? Astro
mega Uh, you know, behere by Friday. All right, Well,

(13:11):
send that link to your wife andwe'll see what happens. We will
see what I'm doing it right nowand copy and paste and it's away.
It's away. But that's all aboutI been doing. It's been very just
is getting back claim work weekends. That's what we've kind of all been doing.
Plus summer mode, so we're notreally like looking forward to work.

(13:31):
Let me get through work, thenchill inside because hottest balls right now.
Yeah. Plus in news radio, this is basically the common Poto storm because
elections. Elections are starting very verysoon. Well, so that's when everything
will pick up again, and itwill and it will come July. But
that's not what we talked about onthis show. No, it's nerdy news
because it's also time for the news. And first things first, we have

(14:01):
to talk about that. Hey,you know that Boys show that's coming out
tomorrow as of this podcast recording, probably less than five hours from now.
Really when we're recording this podcast down, Yeah, it's not gonna last forever
because we found out The Boys seasonfive will be its final season, makes

(14:22):
sense. We talked I think wesaid there's like a few weeks ago,
like there's no way the show couldbe going for like nine seasons. Like
after a while, it's just like, come on, tell the end of
the story. I don't want TheBoy to be what Walking Dad became.
Yeah, and it could be becausepractically most of the cast, Oh no,
that's most of the cast is eitherin The Boys or it's in Invincible

(14:45):
from Walking Dead. That's very true. So I mean, this is like
a new thing now. I feellike, whereas since I guess you want
to say premium TV started with Netflixthat shows have endings, now. Well
before it was just like, youknow, we're gonna go until no one's
watching it anymore and it's canceled becausewe'll try. We'll a baby in season
seven to see everybody wants to comeback to you. The marriage. There's

(15:07):
a marriage this season. You don'tcare about these this couple, but hey,
it's marriage. And then we'll dothe Final Battle and then na season
the full house. So I thoughtthat was great. That was great.
But the boys, like we said, will end with season five. Showrunner
Eric Kripke, who we also knowthe mastermind behind Supernatural and c W Witch
was a show that did extend it'swelcome a little too long and had all

(15:30):
spin offs. I know everyone's diehardsfor Supernatural, but this time he said,
no, I'm putting an end toit. So in his post on
x slash Twitter, he said Seasonfour premier week is a good time to
announced Season five will be the finalseason. It's always been my plan.
I just had to be cagyn tillI got the final oka from Vought.
Essentially, Amazon thrilled to bring thestory to a gory, epic, moist

(15:52):
climax. Watch Season four this weekbecause the end has begun, and I
think it's really cool that you havea vision that he's always had five seasons
in mind, specifically for the boys. I know we have gen V which
that could be your continuation of thingsif you wanted to just have Kripkey as
an executive producer or something on it. But I think what I've heard about

(16:18):
season four so far, at leastwith them press that saw the either the
whole season or a couple episodes,is it definitely is being the bull in
sort of the wall that leads intothe open arena of the finale, like
the light. You could see thelight at the end of the tunnel,
which isn't a bad thing. It'sall right, we're getting things in place
because the final season is the finalseason, so we need some finality to

(16:42):
home. Like Homelander isn't gonna diethis season. We can expect that.
But like it's the affinity war tobasically that makes a lot of sense.
And also the other thing, workingat a business side of things, this
show can't be cheap to pay theseactors. Five season probably was limited perfect
just because of that, Like,yo, uh, these guys are expensive,

(17:04):
So let's go in Carl Urbans ineverything now, so is Jack Quaid,
Like they're in everything now. Solet's go in and just go to
jen V. Now with all thesefirst year fresh face actors that we're just
paying, they're getting everybody else isplaying paid, So it makes a lot
of sense. It also also givesyou that excitement where it's like, you
know, like for example, thelike your your legacy sitcoms, your offices,

(17:30):
your your your Parks and Rex,this is might be a show where
you actually just put on and watchfor entire week or two, you know
what I mean. You can't reallydo that with a lot of shows because
a lot of shows again are ourGenesis, The Flash and Arrow. We
love those shows. They didn't finishfinish as well as they started. It's
just what happened or it seemed likethe boys can't miss, So hopefully they

(17:52):
can't miss for two more years. We have a perfect season, perfect series,
a super on TV to watch.Yeah. I think that the thing
is that Carl Auburn is gonna beJohnny Cage in Mortal Kombat two whenever that
comes out. Granted, however, that will be under the first one hit
or miss. But that man's alwayslike got definitive roles. And Jack Quaid
has kind of been taken off becausehe was on a lot of Netflix rom

(18:15):
coms and all that. But youknow, now that he was an Oppenheimer,
his career is probably gonna take off. And I mean those are the
main two. I think everyone else'skind of is too. I know,
Kimmi Koh. She's been a bunchof stuff as well too. Since The
Boys has come out. And Ican't remember the actor's name, but I
feel like the guy playing his Homelanderis just waiting to just, you know,

(18:37):
burst out and be the next HughJackman, Anthony Star, Anthony Star.
Yeah, we want him as WestCard, damn It and Resident Evil.
It's been a room for a while, and he's cast in m as.
Some people said Dracula, but he'sbeen casting mqu as something supposed for
a while for a while. Yeah, but just his his screen presence and
his chillingness, I could almost seeit if they really wanted to. I

(19:00):
don't know. Everybody hates kind ofremakes because they're not like original, but
if he wanted to redo signs withthe Lambs, I think keep you up
handb Yeah, Like I don't know, his son hand elector JUNR. I
don't know I'm junior. I'm HannibalJr. That's my dad. I'm the
other guy. I don't like fiveof beans. My dad kept making me
eat them, eating them. Iwas like bones, it's like a bone

(19:23):
marrow. But anyway, Boys comesout. I mean, we're happy to
talk about it. Programming note here, we'll be talking about The Boys on
Mondays as well as House the Dragon, sort of a double feature, so
those will be less newsy on Mondaysfor the for this summer, well,
Wednesday will have the news plus obviouslytalk a light about the Accolyte, but

(19:45):
excited. And it works out greatbecause Father's Day being a Sunday, it
works out great to say, hey, we're gonna start on Monday talking about
these two shows. So maybe wetold Monday something to watch the Boys and
watching the Boys leave living room.So interesting. Note is if you watch
live on twitch dot tv, we'llbe recording the Monday episodes on Monday and

(20:06):
post them right away, so ifyou want to be part of that conversation,
it'll be fun and we get ourSundays back for a little bit.
It's smart to announce us. It'sending next year, and that was like,
oh, I gotta watch it.Yeah, yeah, it's very smart
to do that. Yes, wellthis Little Guy well or not, that's
not the only show that announced itsending, if it's upcoming or in the

(20:30):
near future, because Arcane season twofinally got a trailer and also the news
that it's ending after the second season. This is not surprising either, because
this show looks like it's very expensive, and that's the main reason I got
behind of, like, hey,it's too expensive, it takes too long.

(20:52):
Let's just go out on top andthen we'll do some smaller stories with
some cheaper animation. Because season onewas was that twenty one maybe twenty two?
Arcade season one twenty one? Yeah, November twenty one. Wow,
it's almost been been four years.Yeah by the season, well, well

(21:12):
it will be three years because itssupposed to come out in November. Yeah
exactly. I mean we all kindof watched it in twenty twenty two the
start of that because you know, had the word of mouth and the Game
Awards and Imagine Dragons helped that showa lot, and obviously it was good,
so that worked out too. Butuh, yeah, they officially announced

(21:34):
pull it up the article, ThatoNetflix said and rad Games said that Christian
Link and Alexye revealed that second seasonAre King will be its last, but
they won't be done with Leeds andLegends Legends Lore yet. So that's kind
of an interesting note there is thatthis story, these two seasons are done,

(22:00):
Arcane is done, League Legends, but then something else could happen with
the Colon Legal Legend two as thebanner. Yeah, I remember watching this.
I can't remember it was one oftwo things, but I watched this.
I either binged it while we're coveringfrom COVID or I binged it while
we're covering from a COVID vaccine.I can't remember which one, but I
know COVID was all the way.Yeah, that's the way I watched it.

(22:22):
I think the funny thing was Iheard the Imagine Dragon song first at
the Game Awards when they're talking aboutArcado, and like Arcade, I was
like, oh, yeah, cool, this song's all right, Oh this
song is actually pretty good. Andthen watch the show I was like,
oh, this song slaps. I'mnot skipping this intro on Netflix every time
it does it. And then obviouslyEnemy took off on the radio and all

(22:44):
that music charts and all that goodstuff. So we're interested to see.
Hopefully they keep the same theme song, because that's when you damn out.
I know it'll be three years later, but I'll still jam out to Enemy
and this game had us what Iwant to say this close to Yeah,
this show, we were five percentabout to download Legal Legends in some form
and play it. I know Riotis working. I don't know what type

(23:07):
of a new game that's set inthe Legal Legends verse. I don't remember
what. I think it's a fightinggame. That perfect time to release or
tease that fighting game would be duringthis show of Hey, you know two
of the main characters, Jinx andthe main I don't remember the main character's
name, but now you can playthem and they'll they'll be your pre orderable

(23:29):
characters. Get the arcane skins forthem in the fighting game. I just
hope they can kind of continue withthe genius of the last season was you
didn't really know you were watching commercialfor a video game till maybe towards the
end when they started getting web Yeah, they're like, oh, oh,
leg Legends not got it? Yeah, And that's the thing. So good
is like you and I. Iknow a lot of people have history with

(23:52):
legal Legends if you play it alot too. But like most people on
Netflix, including you and I,had no idea what any of the story
was and then became thrilled with it. You know, Hailey Steinfeld and Ella
Ella Percell voices Jinx and so she'staken off with Fallout and now this and
then obviously Haley Steinfeld's and a bunchof stuff too. But to have them

(24:14):
back, that's how you get youngHollywood cast it in the thing, and
then you got them forever because yougot them young. Executive that kind of
like that's one of the reasons alot of keep saying that Apple made by
Disney, just because when they watchthose young, those kid Disney sitcoms,
they see their favorite characters with iPhonesand they've already made a customer out of
a four year old. We havea phone for the ten years damn right.

(24:38):
Interesting thing is with the trailer, you might be like me, maybe
not, that's Toyle. Okay, the show came out three years ago.
I don't remember anything that happened inthe first season. So it's definitely a
show that I personally and to youwould recommend to rewatch before season two comes
out in November. Yeah, Iremember the sister drama because Jinx's sister.

(25:02):
I can't remember the named Haley Seinfeld'scharacter part of like like a fevery crew,
but jinks Y v or vi orVie. Yeah, her little her
intrinsic power that she's a Jinx. She always messed up, messed up their
plans and then that tantum basically makingeverybody go crazy. I remember there was
a time jump in between the episodin like between like the first two episodes

(25:26):
in the back half, and you'relike, oh no, like, oh
my gosh, it was so sadwhen Jinks showed up agains like, oh
my gosh, she's a bad guynow because she's a Chicks. And if
you if you try to think aboutmaybe getting the four K version of Netflix,
this is the show you went thefour k uh Netflix on. If
you have it, if you canafford it, what's a four K twenty
something a month, No idea.I can't afford it. So I'm just

(25:47):
telling if you can't afford it,watching it in that I'm still playing for
the base with fifteen two screens.HG. I got seven to twenty.
You know, roll It's okay, every thing's out fres That's all right.
But yeah, it's interesting that thesetwo big pandemic shows are both ending in
their own regards within the next yearand a half. And it's interesting to

(26:11):
see kind of the shift we're kindof going through of the pandemic television shows
are kind of ending or joining, including The Mandalorian because yeah, as far
as we know, they're gonna dothe movie and be done to make way
for this new echelon of streaming andTV content. Yeah, and it'd be
interesting to see what it is becausethe streaming the bubble definitely has burst.
Like it's done. It's not asprevalent as it was pre pre even pre

(26:34):
pandemic, like what in the twentyeighteen nineteen where everything kind of started building
up. It's not just snowing. We knew where it was. People are
just getting stuff and dropping it whenit like people. It will probably be
like a million subscriptions to Max thisweekend that I'll go on in nine weeks.
What they're not gonna say, Yeah, and just look at this week
I mean at Bridget and the Boys. You have You've had the accolate,

(26:56):
you got House of Dragon, andthen I think the Bear is now next
week two yeah, or in twoweeks yeah. And also I did read
it correct. All episodes are beingreleased there at the same time on Hulu
for some reason. I don't knowhow they're doing that. When is it
going to be a weekly episodic things? They kind of Hulu they kind of
like, yeah, we don't careabout FX. You can watch it weekly
there or just watch it all onHulu. I think it's the incentive to

(27:18):
get to Hulu exact to watch itall at once. So it's like,
it's interesting to see what TV lookslike now two three years exactly. Yeah,
because even Marvel saying like, we'renot going to do as many day,
We're gonna get me one a year. Maybe we'll talk about a Disney
Plus show in the New York literallylike five minutes from now. But switching
things up, if you're watching theYouTube version, hey you got to watch

(27:41):
the trailer for free. Don't worryabout it. Did it take us down?
We only find out. I didn'twant to talk about this because it's
actually interesting talking about you know, studios and streaming. We have to now
talk about studios and movie theaters becausethat might be the new way of streaming
Wars or whatever you want to callit. Because as announced literally like twenty

(28:03):
minutes before we started recording this podcast, Sony now owns Alamo Draft House.
That's interesting. M hmm, that'svery interesting because the word monopoly is thrown
around a lot, gets thrown arounda lot. So what does now stop
besides monopoly loss? What is nowstopping Sony from saying, I don't care

(28:26):
what's showing this weekend. We're onlyshowing Sony movies at my Sony theater and
that's that's my main thing. SoI'll read the news thing then we'll kind
of get into it. But SonyPictures Entertainment, which is they're whatever large
company you want to call it,has acquired Alamo Draftthouse Cinema for undisclosed amount.
We'll probably find that out this weekend. So that means that Alamo will
be joining the company under the newlycreated Sony Pictures Experienced division. So we've

(28:49):
kind of heard Sony kind of doingthese VR pop ups, and obviously we
used to have what was it callednot a state of Play, It was
a Sony can mentioned. Oh well, not state of play What the hell

(29:10):
was it called PlayStation experience, whateveryou want to pack, whatever you want
to call it. So now itlooks like Sony's kind of focusing on that
again now that people are going outwanting to do things. But Sony did
reassure that it will continue to welcomecontent from all studios and distributors at Alamo
Draft House and that it won't reallybe changing things too much that will keep

(29:32):
the Almo Shine Alamo still be operated. How it is thirty five locations,
which I thought there were a lotmore Alamo Draft Houses, but there aren't
because there's like three in just thisarea alone of the DMV, so a
tenth of them are just ear butinteresting. Main question, like keV said,
is what's the stop them from justshowing just Sony movies or the opposite

(29:56):
Sony movies only being shown at Alamodraft Houses? Because this is the president
for this. Because Netflix owns threetheaters right now. They own New York's
Paris Theater, they owned the BigTheater in Palisades, and the Egyptian Theater
in Hollywood, so this is kindof starting. I mean, I mean,
also Dissey owns what is that theateron on Hollywood Boulevard. Do they

(30:18):
have all the premieres the TC atthe Chinese Theater, Yes, not that
one, it's the other one.It's like street, I can't remember what's
called and when they own a theateras well. So it'd be interesting just
going forward to see if these studiosa little bit start like, you know
what, we can't win streaming awardsall the streaming is more a little more
convoluted than we thought. It wasa buying up theaters. So what of

(30:40):
the AMC that was like you knowuniversals AMC, you know what I mean?
Yeah, like that if you dogo, if you are an Alamo
Draft House member or you know,I'll say it. I worked for Almo
Draft House, so I can tellyou how it is point blank in case
a lot of people forget that.It is kind of cool. I mean,
it's kind of like AMC is itsown thing. But you know,

(31:02):
Coke is heavily involved with AMC.Brigal is heavily involved with PEPSI. They
don't own them, but they're heavilysponsored by them and all that good stuff.
But I wouldn't be surprised that Sonydoing this would mean that. Okay,
you know we've talked about Netflix,we talked about Disney and Amazon in
Hollywood. Is now they're buying biggerchains and not just the locations or them

(31:23):
just buying specific locations based on theyknow where the audience is. So like
Amazon in any corporate thing, hasthe data of Oh, our biggest markets
are to say, DC, NewYork and LA. All right, we're
gonna buy one theater because then weget the profits on concessions and tickets and
everything. Yeah, by the way, I'll think they'll cap be times what

(31:44):
I think about time theater. Butyeah, like you said, what's the
stop them from doing? Like weall know that the the prime share the
box office comes from New York inLA. It just is what it is.
I think the DC, Chicago andPhilly are close, but not one
or two by in LA. Yeah, so defens Ari owns a historic theater

(32:04):
in LA. What's the stop again? Like say a Universal or a WB
from Sande. Let's go get thewhat was it like the Chinese Standard?
Let's go get the IMAX theater atthe Air and Space Museum. Every time
we do our war epics WB,we're gonna premiere them only exclusively at the
Smithsonian exactly. So it's it's interestingwe can see how it goes forward,

(32:30):
and even if I don't know ifthere'll be lost to well or anything like
that, but well, it's stillkind of like according to ign A ruling
in twenty twenty, Paramount consent decreesis made possible. This is actually the
first time a movie studio has owneda movie theater chain since nineteen forty eight.
Because of this twenty twenty ruling.I think it's gonna be of a

(32:53):
thing of Sony caught everyone on theirasses and said, oh, let's just
do it. No one else doingit, Let's do it. And then
now like someone in like, ohwe need a new idea. It'll be
great for Sony, you know, and Chart it ain't doing too well.
We haven't got a Spider Man movieanytime soon. Jumandi is practically dead at
this point. Let's buy a movietheater chain. And then you know,

(33:14):
someone at Disney and Netflix, Amazon'sprobably now thinking the same thing. So
Sony buying Paramount too. There's thatrumor too that Sony is potentially buying Paramount,
but I'm who knows. Maybe thisis the one two punch of we
bought some theaters and now we boughtanother studio to pull our movies in there.

(33:37):
So trying to find his PS six, trying to get that money for
them parts, them parts expensive pickup from Japan. But nonetheless, we'll
keep you post on what's happened withthat. But as of right now,
Alamo Draft House is gonna be thesame. But I have a feeling the
things that make Alamo Draft House specialare slowly gonna be taken away, like

(34:00):
the pre show that's exclusive just tothe movies that are playing, which is
the main thing, the no talking. I'm assuming the food thing will still
be a thing, but yeah, and then that's the other thing too,
because I feel like it's nothing that'skind of dying off too. Is a
premium theater experience. I feel likeyou're trying to go back to the old

(34:20):
school where so like you know, just put buy your ticket, pick your
seats. So now, well,I didn't know this Deadpool Wolverine is going
to be playable in four D theaters. So if you've got a fort d
X theater, the one that movesthe seat and then like does all the
water effects, go see it becausethat's the movie you want to see in
four D X. That'll be fun. I haven't been. I need to
go to one. There is onein DC, and I think there's one

(34:40):
actually by your in one of yourmovie theaters near you in Baltimore. There's
that one. If you're on ascreen X have you heard of that one?
Whereas like more screen basically than youcan see. I kind of want
to do both of those to seewhat it's like. What screens on the
side. It's my peripherals. I'mimmersed. That's like you guys see it
in your perifiuation. I'm not lookingat that, but I appreciate it.

(35:04):
That is there exactly. But Kevin, let's get on into what we're here
for, because it's time to talka light about the Acolyte talk alite,
acolyte privacyite go. I don't know, but we're gonna break it down.

(35:27):
So we talked about episode one andtwo last week when they both came out.
Now, we only got one soloepisode. It was it said it
was forty four minutes, so itwas probably like thirty nine forty minutes.
Actually up, Kevin, you okay, Okay, there we go. I
had to fix the computer computer whata well for a second, but we
only got one episode, like Isaid, thirty nine minutes. It was
called Destiny, and essentially this wasthe flashback episode we wanted, but not

(35:53):
everything we wanted to know about waspresented in this in this episode. Also,
it came so quickly too. Idon't don't not hate it. But
usually this is like, you know, exactly to night episode series, like,
yeah, so we'll wait till wewout to do the final thing the
next episode flashback. Calm down, not doing the final thing yet. We

(36:15):
don't have the budget for that oneyet. Yeah, yeah, but I
thought it was So here's the thing. I was kind of in a mood
earlier about this. There's a lotof talk about this episode saying that like
it kind of screws up Star WarsCannon and whatever, and so I'm like,
oh, interesting, I've never seenthis kind of talk about any other
Star Wars show, like either it'sjust like you like you don't like it

(36:37):
whatever. So I watched it andI was like, how did it destroy
stuff? What am I missing herethat it destroyed Star Wars? Maybe sometimes
I don't watch Star Wars as deepas you do, but I texted you
like, hey, did this destroyany Star Wars cannon for you? And
we'll talk this is we non spoilerand then we'll get in the spoiler part.

(36:59):
But yeah, there was a lotof I don't know, feedback.
Backlash is the word. But theinternet is a toxic place. We all
know that, and it seems likeit kind of happens all the time.
But people are very narrowing targeting thisshow, and it's weird as a fan
and as kind of as us isare we not seeing something like because I

(37:22):
like it, I'm not. It'snot my favorite thing for Star Wars,
you know, ah Soca and Mandalorian, but like, yeah, I like
it, it's new. And thenthe internet is like, this is trash?
How dare they? You know, like you said, change Star Wars
culture forever and it's gonna change everythingit is. But we've kind of been
priming for that the entire time too, you know. So one comment has

(37:46):
said that the twins don't look liketwins and mixings out of them. I'm
like, not all twins are exactlyidentical. I know fraternal twins who first
look at I you think they areidentical twins. To get a close to
them. Oh no, they actuallytwo different. People like, why why
even is that a criticism of ashow what somebody looks like? So it's

(38:06):
just getting so so so weird.I don't know. Like I said last
week, I feel like every timethere's a Star Wars show and everybody is
saying, like, you know, before the Star Wars comeing out, I
want to do something different. Iwanted to be this kind of Star Wars.
I wanted to exports like that.So the Star Wars show comes out
and they do the thing that's differentthat everybody's claiming to do, and then
they moved they moved the goal posts. I didn't want that. It happened

(38:28):
with It happened with this happened witheven having one and Or. Everybody loved
Andoor, but still there's still asexty. People are like, and Ors
are that great? I'm like, why is it every time they do what
you want something different, move thegoal posts back to It's It's kind of
a thing just with Star Wars.Make anything in Jipop culture is that,
you know, we talk about too, and we try to be we try
to spend more positive on things thannegative unless it's really bad. But talk

(38:52):
about it. You know, youwon't hear us talk about it, or
we'll just roast it the entire timetoo. But it's in like a lighthearted
way. Is one these twins aretwins. It's okay. They don't look
like each other. Jamie Perry isa twin. He said, he and
his sister don't look like each other, but they were just born at the
same time. That's it. Thesame thing with this, you know,

(39:15):
I think that the chat twitch dottv slash infant of Corpods has been saying,
you know, it was harder tostink who was Ocean who was may
one because they were twins and lookedlike each other. But I think that
was intentional too, of like, all right, either way, they could
go either way and then oh youmay We knew how the markings. She
eventually got the marking. She's theevil one. Ohsha's the new one.

(39:37):
We learned their full names, allthat good stuff too. But I think
this show is it's not and Or. And a lot of people critically love
and Or, but Andre was bornat times sometimes. You know, One
Way Out was a great episode, but there was some boring bits there.
It was visually shot good I thinkthis show so hasn't had its best bits

(40:01):
yet. And I think, youknow, when we get hopefully to three
four more episodes down the line,we get episode eight, we'll see those
bits. You know. We knowthere's a big Jedi fight coming down the
line. We're gonna be talking aboutthat. You know, we're not gonna
get a light saber every episode becausewe're trying to save it and build the
hype for it when it comes inepisode seven or eight. And it's not

(40:22):
gonna be one of those shows whereit's okay when it's weekly, but it's
so much better when you go backand bend them all through. It could
be one of those shows as well. And I just wish people were just
a little more patient with their AndI think the other thing is too because
of the pandemic and we had nothingto do but send our left on everything

(40:44):
from home and watch the TV.People are just so nippicky now and it's
really really crazy, like nipicky peopleare a lot of sort of things.
I didn't like that. So theshow's room for me, like it was
one part of it was one minuteof one episode, like relax. Yeah,
if anything, it's just cool tobe in this prequel and it's not
prequel, but what pre Skywalker Sagaera of Star Wars, because it's you

(41:05):
know what is the ships look likethe Jedi ship from the sixteen year flashback
in this episode looked different than theone they had now. You know,
Lightsabers look, they're pretty simple, you know Torben's Lightsabers really just wrapped up
in leather with nothing else besides thelike emitter to turn it on. The
pre prequel pre prequel is what we'regonna call it, according to JV period

(41:28):
Peppy Percle. But I think that'sthe cool thing this show is doing,
is it's opening that world and ontop of that, coinciding with you know,
the act like coming out. StarWars are Young Jedi Adventures just got
renewed for season two and they showedthat off and so much hype was built
and so many people like praise wasbuilt for them, like, yeah,

(41:50):
this show and that show, we'resetting this part of Star Wars so you
can enjoy that one is a verykitty show which you could watch, but
it's not like Clone Wars and Rebelsyet. I think it will get there,
probably at the second season when somethingbad happens to that ewalk Jedi mass
Scott walk what you're doing, andthen this is doing the same thing timeline

(42:12):
wise. I don't know how theyline up, just because I haven't watched
Young Jedi Adventures. Besides, whenI was at Disney, the one time
I was on the TV like twentyfour to seven, bad show to watch
and getting more ready to go onthe Star Wars line. But I think
it's this stuff we just have totake with not a grain of salt,
but just like a sense of understandingof, Hey, they're working out the

(42:34):
kinks of how Star Wars looks likeand feels like and talks like before all
the Skywalker stuff that always revolved arounda Palpatine, a Skywalker, you know,
like a death Star, because evenMando it is about kind of about
the Palpatine and stuff. Even eventhe Soka is about at least the Empire,
so it's still kind of this. This is not about any of that,

(42:55):
just about two girls who are basicallythe episode of each other and what
happened. We only know what happenedyet because on the episode three will come
down exactly. But Kevin, let'sget on into it. Full spoilers and
head. In case you haven't watchedthis week's episode, you can posit here.
You kind of got our general thoughtson the episode. From what we've
been discussing so far. We're gonnago full nitty gritty everything you need to

(43:20):
know, you can posit, comeback to us hang out when we talk
about it. Or if you're asadist like one Andy drogon armd on twitch
dot tv, slash Infinimus score pods, you can continue to listen and then
watch episode and see compare notes, see if you liked it more than we
did, or you didn't like itas much and you put put us like
a super slow and see if wecan stretch this time. You watch it
for the next fifteen to twenty minutes. So episode three was called Destiny.

(43:45):
It wasn't that sort of hyphen hyphenslash whatever that slash is called in modern
English terms. Episode naming like thefirst two episodes work because that was the
point of twins. This is kindof their origin story. Made sense for
them to be the same origin story. And then two paths. That's with

(44:05):
all that little funny Streggs there, but friendly miner he's found out Torman killed
himself. May killed Inderra. She'sgoing after kill Nakas. That's the path
we're going on. In the pasttwo episodes brend Doc. We kick start
back there sixteen years ago. Lookslike a actually lovely planet. There's not
a lot of inhabitants there on theplanet, but the sisters of brend Dooc

(44:28):
I'm just gonna say the the Covenof Witches. The Witch Sisters use them
interchangingly. They have a cool assbase. It's like kind of like a
dam but also a castle at thesame time, and just a big mountaintop,
which is a cool It's like allthose nine these movies where all the
kids had like really cool hideouts,Like it actually looks a little bit like

(44:49):
the Power Rangers hang out spot.It really does like I want to live
here, Let be great resort.Uh. But we find out on brend
dooc Ocean and May are hanging outnear a bunta tree. So when you
hear boom to eve boom Toree,May is trying to kill a bird and
OSHA's trying to rescue the bird.If I don't tell you who's going to
be bad and who's going to begood, I don't know what else would

(45:12):
I will say too off to thesetwo child actors are amazing. Well their
sister actually twins and sisters they looklike. But I think, yeah,
they do a really good job.And I think, you know, if
you want to critique kid actors, they're kid actors, so you can critique
young Leah, but hey, they'reall kid actors. So I feel like
the sweetness of Osha and the darknessof May was portrayed very well, just

(45:37):
like the direct and it like youcould tell the difference of like being passive
versus defending your sister they've had throughoutthis episode being more direct, which May
was, whereas Osha was kind ofmore aloof kind of not knowing what she
wanted to kind of see the pathsthere. I don't know if I want
to be this. I don't wantto be a witch. I don't want
to be a I don't want towear a witch costume. Like time we

(46:00):
wed three couple years ago. Hey, hey it's okay, I don't want
to go to Jurassic World, allright, And we had fun. We
did have fun. It was fun. It was best. The three set
up. They looked cool. Butit's that we have the cool line here
in which they said, I believeIn the second episode you're with me,
I'm with you always one but bornas two and a little more lines there
too. We find out both thesisters are going through the ascension later tonight,

(46:22):
that they are part of the witchcoven of the planet which their mom
mother on Asea on a Sea.I think this is how you said it.
She's the leader of We also findout they are kind of on the
tutelage of a Zobrock woman named MotherCoral, zob Racks, Zabris, whatever

(46:43):
you want to say. Are technicallyDatha Marian. It's kind of they're the
horned species. Uh so, she'sthe same species kind of as Darth Maul.
But you're Dathamiri dath Marion if youlive on dathamir So that's kind of
the thing. They're kind of.You're an American, but you know,
I'm Irish and English and stuff likethat. I will say, of all

(47:05):
the force which is we've met inStar Wars so far, I feel like
their mother what's been the most palatablefor me, the nicest mother you know,
actually kid or mother thousands the othercomparison you're talking about, But yeah,
it's really even jedisib like, whatis your deal? But I think
that's the cool thing is having theseextensions of the Force or the Thread as

(47:27):
they call it in the Witch Coven, is that they're all kind of descendants
of groups that probably may have startedoff as the Jedi in the Sith and
then kind of did their own thingor whatever pre both of those things,
which we'll find out eventually with theJames Mangold movie that's supposed to come out.
It's gonna be a starting of theForce thing. Oh yeah about that,

(47:50):
yeah, right, one day itwill come out. But it was
really cool just to see how,you know, the Thread is still the
Force and they're still kind of teachingthe same basic things like we learned from
the Force through Star Wars in general. So did this modern religion, which
is cool, remind me of like, you know, not to get to
two religious but like the first tembooks of the Bible and the Tour which

(48:10):
is Jewish Bible, same same thing. Yeah, So it's and that's kind
of the parallels they're making. Thisis Star Wars with a little bit of
a voice in it. Same thingwith and or had there too. Last
year we do find out later thatmother Chorl, who's kind of the stern
teacher of the two, kind ofif you if you saw Dune, she
was the the Josh Brolin character.Find out, Yeah, mother Chorl birth

(48:36):
both of them, but it wasmother and Asaya who created them in Chorl's
womb, so it kind of skippingahead, but we find out that both
the twins are through a virgin birthwhatever you want to call it. In
Star Wars, no dad Anakin,And that's where a lot of the parallels
start here in this episode. Reallyis you know, they both are kids,

(49:00):
are very tuned into the force, don't have a dad or kind of
miracle bursts and through unnatural ways, and uh, they're kind of potentially the
beginning or end of certain things.Maybe the Sith coming back. Kind of
interesting thing though, was that likechoral birth them, so like you think
they would have more attachment to her, but they hate her for some reason,

(49:23):
you know, other to just realizewe there needs to be something more
about how are you was born?Oh, Kevin, that's what's happening,
Kevin, right here is what's happening, and we're learning about it. Is
that way I can connect the dotsDan again realize we never got closer on

(49:45):
that. It was kind of movedon. It was like, well,
there's some comics and books that sayPalpatine when Palpatine randomly. But I think
a lot of people criticizing this episodewere like, well, that kind of
makes Anakin not special and not theChosen One and all this good stuff.

(50:05):
But yeah, I remember, likethe Chosen One thing, which we kind
of learned through Rebels and the CloneWars and everything was kind of just a
thing the Jedi and Sith kind ofbelieved and just like that was the end
all be all to end our troubles. And in some ways you could say
that, some ways you couldn't,because really it was Luke that defeated of
the Sith. There wasn't balance stillbecause the Jedi. There's no balance still.

(50:28):
Ever, you know, it's alwaysone side's winning. We've never gotten
the point where it's balance. Butthat's why I still think one of the
greatest things in Star Wars is stillthe character from Rebels the Force can.
I feel like we need more Benddo stuff because the define my favorite thing
about the Force isn't this dark one. I think It's just the force.

(50:50):
There's nothing else that is just howyou use it. It's just a force.
And that's the cool thing about StarWars is that weird. Star Wars
is oftentimes the coolest Star Wars thatyou remember. Like the Bend Do,
the father, the brother, andthe sister Mortis, the Mortise family,
That's what it was. Ahsoka kindof teased into that. Then you had
the world between Worlds, which Ahsokaalso teased into, like those are the

(51:12):
cool things that like one Dave Filonikind of created. And Dave Floni,
I know, slightly has his handsin this, not as much as like
the Mandalorian and ah Soca, butI think that's what kind of pushes Star
Wars forward and not keep it revolvingaround the same things. I totally agree.
Yeah. But back in the episode, we find out that Soul is

(51:34):
actually spying on the kids to adoptthem into the Jedi Order. Essentially,
we find out that the power ofone, the power of two, the
power of many, which is kindof the witch is Coven's chant, and
we see that May is kind ofstronger with the force the thread than Osha
is defending her at one point, and that Osha doesn't want to be a
witch, but May does, andthis is how they're kind of diverged from

(51:57):
one another. Oshaw doesn't want tobe I want to do everything to get
with May, which if you havea young sibling who's close to you in
age or an actual twin JB.Perry, makes sense, you want your
own identity and at some point you'retired of wearing the same clothes that said
other sibling. I will say,like, like I said, I'm a
big fan of Soul. He wasa very creepy Oh my god, this

(52:19):
episode like what kept me going on. So I'm like Souls like dope,
he's just QUI gone. But intwenty twenty four I love him. But
the first episode is like he's kindof out of it, and this he's
very active. We find out thewitches have the power to give life.
That the dual Moons of Brendoc isactually the logo. So we talked about
that last week, how it's thetwo sisters boom same imagery. We had

(52:43):
the red and the Blue Moons ofbrend Doc popping up when the ascension ceremony
happened. This is where I wannasay during this Ascension says some consider our
gifts dark, dark or unnatural, echoing like we said Star Wars always rhymes
Palpatine's speech about dark legas, whyis the Anakin keep that in the back
pocket some considered unnatural? We findout May's real name is Mayho Honasea.

(53:10):
She vows to continue the legacy ofthe Covenant palmer Mom's death. She gets
the spiral mark on her forehead, and that OSHA's real name is Varotia on
Asea cautiously takes the val but it'sinterrupted when the Jedies pop up. The
Jedi rolled up very peacefully, Imight say. And again that's why I'm
like, why what did what didthe fourth which just go through? Because

(53:34):
they're just like they hate Jedi,They're not They're they're ready to fight anytime,
Like the Conas came into that hotelroom peacefully but ready to fight,
and they beat down Captain America.Yeah, for no reason. Well,
and then and in this they're hidingMay and Osha. And this episode really
cool? Is Star Wars? Sofar we've seen that the Jedi taking kids

(53:55):
from their home to become padawan's hasalways been like a nice thing, and
of like, oh yeah, likethey're gonna be Jedi, but this really
reframed them like cant everone wants togo be a Jedi, but they're still
gonna try to take them if theyhave they passed their test and become a
Jedi. Yeah. I'm not gonnause the word that I thought about.
I'll talk to you about that offoff the show, because I don't want

(54:16):
to try anything here. But itdoes kind of show how the Jedi,
even though the Jedi in their eyesflawed, are force of good taking kids.
Man, it's kind of weird.Yeah, I mean it's a flawed
thing. And then yeh, that'swhy. Well we didn't really get to
see a lot of it of Luketaking on Padawan's and his era, but
maybe in the Ray era of movieswhen that those come out, we see

(54:38):
you don't gotta be five years oldor less to join the Jedi order.
You could beat ten or fifteen andbe a little more cognizant. Luke,
one of them was his nephew,so it's kind of like, hey,
we'll have my uncle for a weekend. Yeah, I mean that has Yeah,
I think it's also very funny whenthe last piece of Star Wars,
we got the bad batch. Wesaw very young kids who were supposed to

(55:00):
be taken to the Jedi Order, taken by the Empire. Those kids were
like three, four and maybe likeeight at the oldest Omega probably like ten
or eleven. But like it's veryinteresting to see, like we're getting this
different perspective on the Jedi Order thatyou know, they are the good guys
overall in the story, but youknow, everything has its own perspective on
it. One it is still prettymuch all around Star Wars, but he's

(55:24):
almost a Superman of Star Wars. He's just that good as a person.
Just cut, just cut. Butessentially we find out Torbin actually was India's
Padawan. So it's very funny thatthe Master and he Padawan are the first
two to die out of that four. And Honaseiah has this great line of
the all knowing Jedi where ignorant thesurroundings couldn't be, and like that's their

(55:46):
downfall right there, the downfall.Soul does talk to Osha and it gives
you very flashbacks to Qui Gon takingAnakin Ocean and we find out Ocean may
have no father, and then weeventually find out that honestly, it possesses
Torbin. When Soul offers Osha totake the Jedi test for a quick time

(56:08):
eventually on a C S is finetelling May and Osha, you gotta lie
because if you say the truth andyour powers are real, which they are,
they're gonna take you if you guessthe right the ship a cup you
know from Phantom Menace, They're gonnatake you. Which, like we said,
do the Jedi take children? Itis interesting too because the Indira kind

(56:31):
of says, you know, bythe law of the Republic, the Jedi
have all rights to children or whateversomething like that. So that'll be interesting
to find out in lore with thathow that law works. Like, oh,
all of a sudden they said, all right, all the Jedi are
taking the Patawans because you want Isthat a Sith rule? Is that why?
You know? It all feels likePokemon, Pokemon one? All right

(56:58):
one? Uh, this is wherewe find out in this that there's a
CGI old lady slash lady or alienlooking. She look weird. I don't
know if it's CGI or practical. It just looked weird with everything else going
on. But this is where Mayand o should go take their test.

(57:21):
It is very funny that we cutto kel Naka working on the ship,
and it's always the Wookies work onthe ships. Even if you're a Jedi,
you gotta work on the ship.Yeah, you know you here four
get out there, make sure fixthe ship. And it was very funny.
I saw on the internet a lotof people saying that kel Knaka was
is the neighbor in your neighborhood whensomething goes wrong in the house and goes

(57:43):
wrong at your house and they're pretendingto work on their lawn that they're not
paying attention, but they're looking tosee what's going on. That's Kevin.
But Torbin takes Oceh's blood to testfor metachlorians. Will be one qui gone
from Phantom Menace. Well, theydidn't say for meta Chlorians. They're gonna
test it, but we know whatit is. May does fail it intentionally.

(58:07):
But then we cut to Osha takingthe test, same device Mace Winder
uses on Anakin and Phantom Menace. They quizzer Osa. Osha gives the wrong
answers uh, the first one beinga loft slash Tuca cat. It's supposed
to be a ship or she saysship and then the next one being a
tower that looks like a straight outof bestmin Uh Club City, but she

(58:29):
gets is a different answer. Andthis is where she actually interviews she's getting
wrong on purpose. This is whereI once again yeah, they're like,
oh, yeah, you got youeven saying the wrong answer the whole time.
Yeah, Soul tricked her in admittingshe's lying. May gets passd at
Osha for passing the test, breakingher promise. This is where Anasaya said

(58:52):
tells the Osha that you know youwon't see any of the witches again if
you become a jedi. Osha stillwants to become a Jedi. Asaiah says,
where it will bring up to themeeting today and then we'll give you
our blessing or not. May locksocean in a room, burns her journal,
sets the room on fire, andthis is where we see Osha escape
through a tunnel. And here's thewitches getting blasted with something. Was it

(59:16):
fire? Was it that faulty powergenerator that we saw earlier in the episode.
Who knows? Who knows? Becausewe find out that they're all dead,
including their mom, that Soul andMay belonging to surviving. They try
to meet up, but kind ofvisual storytelling, there's a break in the
middle. That's where the past diverge. May falls down thinking she's dead.

(59:39):
Soul can only rescue Osha shades ofhim your screen. Later in episode two,
Episode one actually and is where Oshawakes up on the jetiship on the
way to Corroussant blinking miss it.Torbin actually has a scar in his face
that we see when he dies,so something happened. And then we cut

(59:59):
back to the the yellow Weeping Treefrom the beginning of the episode, the
Bunta Tree, and May shows upthinking where is my sister? This is
where we'd meet, thinking oh,ohsh is dead and thus very prime to
you. Well, the Jedi camein here and wrecked shop, so I'm
going to join the sit and killhim, you know. Yeah, And
it kind of also leads to justlike you know, the delusion of of

(01:00:21):
what May actually is she she startedall that because and this is what I
love about this episode. This isliterally what Yoda said and was it was
a tackle of clones or what itfemin fears of path on the dark side.
Anger at least fear leads to anger, anger, to hate, hate,
suffering. She was afraid that herfat that her sister was going to
leave. She got angry, sheburnt down the entire complex and maybe killed

(01:00:44):
her parents, not entirely sure. Now she's suffering because now her sister is
dead too, and that she hasjoined the dark side. So again,
if you think that this this brokeStar Wars cannon, it didn't. It's
literally what Yoda said. It's literallywhat he said. Interesting thing, like,
I think everyone got the vibe.Jedi definitely did something that we don't
realize. Like, it's weird thatkil Knaka was working on a speeder bike

(01:01:06):
that we never saw him really usein the episode, that Torbin has that
scar we see later in the episode. And so I'm assuming we'll get another
flashback episode prior perspective from Soul, maybe from kil Knaka in the next couple
of episodes. I really tell uswhat's going went on. Did the Jedi
actually kill the witches? Was itan accident that may thought the Jedi did

(01:01:29):
it, and all that stuff. We'll find out in dear time. But
I think the thing is too Ilove Soul. He got there really quickly,
really quick. It's true. Findout what happens and who's the blame
is. I've seen a theory thatIndira and Torben ones that actually initiated it
because Torbin was in Dear's Padawan,so it makes sense, and that it

(01:01:51):
was kill Knaka that got pissed athim because they did it, which was
why he taxed Torbin and Seul hadno idea, which is why he was
like late to the party and savedOsha just to save Ocean Yea. Hopefully
Soul was just like that one goodguy. I think it might be that
eventually we're gonna find out that itis a secret Holocron or something like that
that maybe not Vernesstra, depending onhow that timeline works and everything, or

(01:02:15):
someone on Jedi Council gave in Dearthe order, Hey you're gonna go get
the Padawans, but if they resist, you got the right to blow them
up or something, probably because welove our good Helicron. That reveals the
secrets that would be really dark, but I would love to see that.
And also I would love to seeanother flashback of Osha in May what they

(01:02:35):
went through after they split, causeI would love to see what the Jedi
King Temple. Oh yeah, likeOsha as a as a padawan, maybe
interacting with your a young yord yordHord baby it's official now Star Wars sent
out stickers or Jeckie potentially being inthere too, just to see, all
right, what was the reason thatOsha left? Did you find out something?
And then then by to being we'llpop that episode too. She's still

(01:03:01):
not really that good of using theforce, yes, and is that was
Did she have a good handle onit or she just never got to handle
on it? Yeah, So it'dbe interesting to see what happened because I
mean in the pre Star Wars kndof with the books, Obi Wan was
richinially be sent to like the SpiceMiles or whatever because he wasn't that strong
on the force till Qui Gone pickedhim. So it'd be interesting to see

(01:03:22):
that she had the same type ofdestiny. So time will tell, But
yeah, I think that's kind ofour prediction and thoughts on the episode as
a whole. I do think ifyou like it, like it. If
you don't like it, you don'tgot to watch it. But I don't
think you have to attack the actorsand the cast and crew on social and

(01:03:42):
now it's on social media, soit's not physically attacking him, but like
it's interesting because we're in a timewhere all that stuff happens, and it's
why we don't see certain actors doroles in Star Wars or Marvel or big
projects because like, I'm not dealingwith all that backlash if it goes wrong
or something like, for example, the trailer for the the revamped Good Times

(01:04:03):
cartoon. I didn't like the trailer. I didn't watch it. I didn't
That's as far as it went withme. Yeah, but overall, you
