So what I've been doing this pastweekend was a dance heavy weekend. It
was my daughter's fourth danceer title andshe's actually in a higher class and she

teary out of see, like,wow, I remember when she had our
first recital, the kind of justdid like this and then they woul kind

good and the bad of it becauseher old shows started at ten in the
morning. It's kind of hard.It was kind of a rush to get

But then he realized on the otherside of that, you didn't get home
till like seven. Wow, we'vebeen here a long time, real long.
I have not eaten. On theother side of that, though,
I had planned to watch The Boysthis last Saturday, but I kept getting

targeted ads for the show on Netflixcalled super Cell. Okay, and it's
a it's a British show. Ikind of have a soft spot for British,
especially black British cheff. I don'tknow why. It's weird to have
nothing to do with that culture,but like that's kind of cool. So
I want to be like John Ikind of deal. I think, I
think, I think in a separatelife, I'm really in a British hip

hop, like really into But Iend up watching super Cell Supercell this weekend,
and I got to say, itwas a really really good show.
It's it's it's kind of like,what was that show on you say,
the forty four hundred or Basically theplot about is is these group of people
to have these powers. They don'tknow why they have these powers, and

they're trying to figure out how theygot them, how they want to use
them. So it's not it's notkind of like and Avengers or even like
a hears where it's like, Ihave powers, I must help people.
It was more like, I havepowers, but it's kind of weird.
Let me hate them, because Idon't want anybody to really figure figure it
out. What other person's like,I have powers and I need money to
keep he cuts me my son,I'm gona punch his atm real quick and

trying to figure it out. Anotherperson is a drug dealer. He's like,
I have powers, mysell these drugsreal fast. I'm real fast.
Like basically, he's like he's likeundercutting dealers, Like he was like,
they get you to get you tomarijuana in twenty minutes, I give it
to you in five minutes and forhalf off. So he's telling his power
to tell drugs basically. So eachperson kind of used their powers a little

differently, and it was just veryinteresting to see how it all came together
and what was the actual story ofit. Because the twist is one of
the main characters unexpectedly activates his powerswhere hey, he can teleport and control
time, and he teleports to thefuture and sees him with these like five
other people fighting this like this hiddenforce basically, and a guy tells him,

like, hey, you need tofigure this out because if you don't,
your girlfriend's gonna die. And itgoes back to the future time to
figure out how stop the girlfriend nowof the series without spoiling it Kevin anymore.
That was all on the trailer.That was all, but it was
It's really good. Apparently it wasdone by like I guess the British equivalent
of like kit cutting, Okay,a rapper turned like kind of film producer

some things rapman. It's like histhird thing he's done something like that.
And it left with a really cooluh Easter eggs. I hope hopefully it
gets a second season. But Ireally enjoyed it. I had a lot
of fun watching it. I watchedit all on Saturday, like I watched
like the first four before the recitalon the last two. As a recite,
it was only six episodes. Butif you haven't if you look for

something to watch, on Netflix.That's not in one of like, you
know, the the high dollar typeof stuff. Give super sellus side.
I think you might like it.Ak playing ghosts. That's all I'm doing,
being a samurai. No big deal, Suri cutting people down. There's

brother. That's oh. And alsotoday was the first day in a long

time I had to work up morningshow shift. I have no sympathy for
you. I don't know why Ido that. It's really stupid, baby
a nine o'clock every day, baby, But that's all about doing yes for
me. It was used to amorning show shift. This weekend, I
actually got to go thrifting with more, which is fun and uh kind of.

Usually it's gone with thrifteing. Asshe goes in the I let her
go in the closed section. Ilook very quickly in the guy section,
and I usually just chiller and gosit in the chair that looks the cleanest.
But now I'm having the habit ofjust because my TikTok has been showing
up like thrift store finds, notlike it used to be vintage game and
like toy stores where people go buythese things. Now it's everyone's going to

the thrift stores to find all thesebig fines. So this past weekend I
was like, all right, youknow what, I'm gonna go to the
book section see what I can find. And I found the first three I
guess paperback volumes of Paper Girls,which is fun. It's from Image Comics.
It's the same people that it's thesame company that makes uh Saga.

I believe that's also show on AmazonPrime. I didn't finish. Yeah,
I got canceled, So that's theonly down side of it. But yeah,
they do that. They've kind ofbeen also been behind Invincible as well.
They don't make it, but it'skind of cool to see alternate comics
like that. So I got thefirst three volumes, so I'm excited to
read them and then if I likethem, watch the show with more than

wish they made a season two outof it, essentially. Yeah, me
and my wife watched out the firsttwo episodes together and you kind of thenbe
got pregnant and things got Yeah.I think it was definitely a show that
like if you knew the source material, you'd appreciate it more, whereas like
Invincible had the hooks within the firstepisode, because that's not ending in that
first episode. My god, that'sstill one of the old time like script

show would go like that. Geez, let me breathe for a second and

just likes to give you one hundredside quests while you're going to the main

Avatar rewatch. We're going to theAvatar concert in September, so I think

This was definitely a little bit ofboth. More on the parody side a
little bit because it was the vfifty two X Spell, you know,
the VCU phases seven through nineteen.Everyone's got a spinoff show and all this
good stuff. But it was coolto be like, yeah, this stuff

parody of a parody of happening.And then even like like like like the
one question when Guy was like Ithink a deep said how long is this
thing gonna exactly? You know,uh, I guess we'll go through that

out it is Sage. He's findingout who was the leak uh in the

the seven that leaked out the videodisproving Starlight and all that good stuff or
proven the evidence of not killing thosethose people. Yes, the Starlight is
doing that eventually kind of summing upthat because then there's other bigger parts with

We don't know, we'll find outnext week or this week. Obviously,
he and the CEO I forgot hername off the top of my head.
They get together and plot against thenews reporter to say that he was
the one that did the leak,and he gets beat to a pulp at
the end of the episode. Soit is interesting that like that guy has

kind of been like the social mediaguy to keep the Boys franchise going.
They're just put him on a stageand say you do a vault report.
Yeah. I thought it was alsokind of clever too, because she tells
him like, you know, Iwant you to put the beads in the
place so I can do the thingwith her, And she didn't like that,
and then I guess that was likethe last straw because you saw kind
of pulling her hair a little bitmore. Ashley Ashley is her name.

Yeah, they go actually yeah,and then once a train talked her up
to help help me, to helpyou to speak. She was like,
well, this guy's pissing me offand we need to help each other.
So I'm tired of him. Sohe's he's the leak. I thought,
it's just sillicart enough for the boys. It's like, ugh, I don't
like it. But we do kindof get through that through the VCU intro.
We do get Tech Night comes backfrom gen V where we have the

line of the next movie is calledthe Tech Night. Uh, he'll have
some sick Nirvana hits. And Iknow we just had the franchise that we're
beautying again to do the dark TechNight, which is funny. I was
like, Okay, we get it, we get it, Okay, we
get it. Uh. We didhave the Guardians of Goodalkins, Sam and
Kate popped up for a hot second. They said two lines and all of

a sudden they're like, yes,we'll do anything you want. Homelander,
so kind of a weird cameo.I think we all anticipated it to be
a more integrated, flawless cameo aboutyou know, we got three episodes ago,
who knows they might be integrated,and they were announcing like like some
kind of teen show. Yeah,it was the Guardians of Goodalkin. So
it's like their Team Titans show.Essentially. It's pretty I'm like, look,

it's all it's all one world.Look at that. And then Homelander
is kind of teaching Ryan like himand he and Ryan have a good heart
to heart moment. It's like,oh, Homelander is a good dad.
Now he's like telling Ryan you don'thave to do whatever you want. I'm
not going to be a stage dad. Whatever you want to do, you
want to do. Ryan says hewant wants to help people. This is
where a Homelander tells Ryan to tellthe director to stop hitting on his assistant.

He makes the director kind of gravelto Ryan and like, oh no,
Ryan, no, that's Homelander tactics. You don't do that. No.
Just I know Homewannders an evil person, but he's trying to be a
good dad. And he's like,oh no, he's not. Oh no,

he's using different beginning the same resultexactly, and then we that's kind
of what that episode is, Iguess wrapping it up that episode. At
the end of their V fifty twoexpo or that part of the episode,
Homelander gathers all the Seven and everyonewho's presenting, saying, you know,
I know we're treated like celebrities,but we should be treated like gods.
And essentially they say, you know, to beat this leak, you know,

to prove your loyalty killed the reporterguy. They do. So now
we're going to see the shift ofsuperheroes as celebrities, the superhero as sol
and so deits slash gods in thenext couple episodes. But did you catch
though, Like when they were doingit, Sage kind of shot a look
at a tran like, I knowit was you, but I'm doing something

and they use it on a deadbody to taint the sheep. The
sheep go down, no virus anymore. But in the scuttle Bud, essentially
Butcher cuts off the scientist's leg tomake it look like he was eating,

Newman in breaks out stan Edgar outof his prison transport to have him.

So finally there'll be good another playerin the in the in the show,
