Yes, a lot of the lotof that movie's product of its time,
which I told her going and Iwas like, hey, this came
out I think eighty nine technically,like it's product Jedi. Yeah, it's
after all the Star Wars movies.So it's making fun of all three of
them at the time when there wasonly three. It's making fun of a
bunch of other stuff because at thetime it was all about comedy movies of

like you know, police academies andall that good stuff, naked guns,
all that good stuff. And Ithink overall she liked it. I don't
think it's our favorite movie and it'sdated, but it's okay. We're getting
Spaceball's too, And she was likeI told her, like, yeah,
they're making a sequel. She's like, what do you what are they gonna
call it. It's like, Idon't know. Knowing that they come up

with a title in the movie,I'm like, ah, that's what they
can call it. I want tocall it because if you watch, if
you watch the part where the littlesports guy showed you all the merchan we
called Spaceball, it's a sequel.But yeah, I think this is the
first time I watched it as anadult. I think the only other time
I watched it was as a kidwhen I was like ten or something.

Very funny. The alien joke isfunny because it's William Hurt, which we
talked about I think a couple ofweeks ago, which I think inspired me
to go find it to watch itwith Maura. She she was like,
I don't get John Candy's character.I'm like, he's supposed to beat you
Bacca, but it's a dog becauseeveryone thought Youbacca was a dog. One
of the funniest jokes in that movieis like the like the middle middle beginning
half of it that flew over myhead as a kid, when he goes

strong Colonel Sanders Chicken exactly. There'sa lot of jokes that's hilarious like that,
and you know, she want Thefunniest thing we talked about it was
the jam the Radar has been jammed, and I was like, I looked
at it. I was like,hey, you get it, and she's
like, you get it. Strawberry, I was like, a raspberry is,
like, I get it. Alot of the jokes, too,

are very Looney tunis, like thatone I hate jam peven with even with
strawberries. It's so it's so stupid, but it's hilarious. I also heard
that I haven't watched it yet,but I've heard good things speaking of Looney
Tunes, that Looney Tunes the daythe Earth blew up, I think that
heard that. Yeah, The Daythe Earth Blew Up a Looney Tunes movie.

It's like an HBO Max like originalthing. I heard. It's actually
pretty good. Uh. I mightwatch that this weekend, just because I
need something to watch in between Waitingfor the Boys and House of Dragon.
I haven't watched on only Tunes moviesince Space Game. I didn't watch.
I didn't watch Space Jam two.I didn't watch it. What he did
with Brendan Fraser, like in themiddle, back in Action, that was

so good, really yeah as achild. As a child, it's great
as an adult horrible movie by thetime, And it was like the pivotal
scene from Looney Tunes. Back inAction isn't a Looney Tunes thing at all.
It's a Scooby Doo thing because it'sCasey case And then whoever at the
time was voicing Scooby Doo. They'rein whatever universe, real characters or whatever

on screen are talking to Matthew Lillardabout like his person impersonation of Shaggy,
And at the time you're like,we love Matthew Lillard. He's Shaggy.
To us, we still love himbecause he's still shaggy. But it was

movie too over over the holiday break. I forgot to tell you about.
I watched Volcano for the first time. Yes, you texted me about this,

Yes, so Volcano if not familiar. Volcanos is a disaster movie about
a volcano hitting the downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles area in general with Tommy
Lee Jones. Uh, I can'tremember the name right now. But the
guy that plays Roady, why can'tI remember his name? Don ch don
Chico's in it, Young Young Don. He wore like a backwards Keno can.

He was cool and he was reallycool. And a couple of other
actors that you would know if youthat's a guy from that thing, Keith
Keith, David Tennon as well.And it's just a ridiculous premise. How
would a volcano erupt in the middleof downtown Los Angeles, first of all,
but just the way ninety disaster moviesare just like perfectly plotted out where
it's like it has to be theone guy who never goes home to work,

never sees his family, he's oneof knows how to do everything.
It was. It was a greatmovie experience and it got me you thinking.

one day during the draft the restof the draft summer we have we may
have to do like a best disastermovie bracket. I think either do that

is the same typically essentially the samemovie about a volcano and all that good

so it came out two months after. Just depends which one you watch,
probably on home videos determine which onewas your favorite for our generation and

like, hey, Volcanoes of themovie where the guy, the construction worker
goes into the metro to save somebodyand then he says, oh, instead
of jumping over this puddle of lava, I'm gonna jump right into it and
die, so I could save akid. I have to save the kid.
And then of course you have youryou know, your Independence days and

your earthquakes. It was another OneDay After Tomorrow movie. But they're they're,
they're, they're out there. Inever saw it, but Moonfall is
another one, one of the mostcurrent ones. I might have to watch
that one day, just play howridiculous is this? The moon is falling?
Oh my gosh, what are wegoing to do? What we're gonna
do? But hey, becoming toa podcast. I love it that,

Like, isn't it Like the lavais like super close to the hospital,
but then the very last second theystop it and cool it down so it
doesn't melt the hospital. Yeah,then they were like a weird part where
like they were able to escape thehot air of the subway by just going
into another event and closing the door. Like that's lava. First of all,
you're not gonna be able touch thatmetal door. It's right next to
the door, so it doesn't Howthey just have to create a trough system

that puts the lava straight into theocean, creating more land for la citizens
to live on. And then atthe climates of the movie. They basically
destroyed a building in like half anhour. They bought it down perfectly in
the street so it can move thelava into our fresh water channel. I
was like, Wow, these thesemovies are just marvels. Are a convenient

engineering months to dude, you knowwe're gonna do it in twenty minutes and
six minutes real time in the moviebecause we're that smart. We're just we
have to do it. Any Dragoonin the chat says, I think there's
also a tornado movie that came outwhen she was in high school. So
this movie it's twenty fourteen. Ithink she's referring to remember that Into the

Storm, which was essentially a firstperson movie like Cloverfield, but it was
about a tornado. Never seen it, but it might be on Max because
Warner Brothers. There's another one thatcame out like a year two after that,
whenever there was like a fire tornadofire, where like a tornado hit

Lundren, No, Casper van Deenis in this movie. Hell yeah,
Starship Troopers, but yeah, likedisa something we paid a Riota. So
I googled this. I googled fireTwister, and I love like sometimes like

Metal Tornado, Ice Twisters, andmy favorite that I think we need

to watch for this Christmas. Addit to our Christmas bracket. Christmas Twister,

act. They were unhappy with thewriters, but one of those two people
that you need to do a show, we're un happy. So it took
a while for this just actually gettingdone. So I'm happy you guy,
it's getting done. At least ifyou haven't watched seven season one, we
got plenty of time to watch itnow. But essentially, Apple TV Plus
announced today the first episode of sevenseason two will premiere Friday, January seventeenth,

twenty twenty five, followed by oneepisode every Friday through March twenty first,
twenty twenty five. So we'll betalking about that on our Sunday Monday
episodes most likely because we're both hookedon the show now. They also it
will be ten episodes long, essentially, and we did get a forty second
teaser trailer which didn't show a lotbut the description which is why we're not

going to do a reaction theater becauseit's like forty seconds repeated, repeated,
repeated. But in the description forthe trailer, in severance, Mark Scout,
played by Adam Scott, leads ateam at Lumen Industries whose employees have
one gone a severance procedure which surgicallydivides their memories between their work and personal

it kind of has those vibes whenthey go into like the severance offices of
that kind of brutalism of like everything'swide, stark office setting, you know,

is doing that sort of like commentaryon those vibes, which is cool.

when you go to an office placenow, everything is like whitewashed and bright,

the whole show again, which isa bad thing. I'm glad I get
to watch it again. And eventhe tone of the show is just leaves
you feeling a little little unsettled.They shot it perfectly, even Adam Scott.
We know Adam Scott looks like we'veseen them for what seven years?

what two thousand and nine. SoI don't know what they did to his

face or what he's doing to hisbody, but he doesn't look like Adam
Scott in this show when he's beingseparated or whatever. That's celearrated. When
he's at home, he looks likeAdam Scott. When he goes to work,
that's not Adam Scott. I don'tknow how they do it, but

Steth Brothers. Yeah, And Ithink the funny thing is a comment I
saw and Apple TV actually liked itwas someone said, it's crazy that when

my partner I watched this show inseason one came out in twenty twenty two,
we had just found out she waspregnant. Now our son's gonna be
almost two and a half by thetime the second season comes out three years
since in between seasons, and obviouslythat's because, like keV said, I
think it was one of the producersand one of the writers didn't get along
with each other, which caused sometension on the riding. Not Ben's Tiller,

but other people on the show,and then we had the writer's strike
and the actors strike, so itcaused three years of delay for in between
seasons. Well, it's funny.I mean when this show debutedn't I wasn't
think about a second kid that wascoming upon. You're a second kid about

proposed when the show came out,oh twenty two. He yeah, because

it came out in like the thewinter. Yeah, so win, I
proposed, So you weren't even marriedyet. Now you're going to be deeply

three and four run together for sure, Yeah, because was two one

two three or four in that aren'teven opening anymore. Yeah, I think
the one I saw too and definitelydoesn't exist anymore because of consolidation. But
I mean that was like twenty yearsago, So what are you gonna do?
Feel this just makes you feel old. Yeah, that and uh,
the same theater I saw the Piratesof the Caribbeans. Wow, what a
time man. Maybe we should doI can't wait when maybe have Pirates of
the Caribbean. We can do are review of the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The first three at least, youknow people are actually that was finally
showing love to the third one becauseI remember I was like the only one
I liked it. But it camelike, actually, this was actually was
a pretty good sequel. I mean, yeah, that sequel trilled you a
movie. Well have I told you? Have I told you my funny story
with Pirates of Caribbean two? No. No. So we went to go

see it my time. At thetime, my mom was dating a guy
in the Navy, and we hadlike a navy screening or something for it.
So there we go. So sopretty much we have a navy screening
for the movie because my mom wasdating someone in the Navy at the time,
so we got to see it liketwo days ahead of time whatever.
So we went into the theater.We watched the movie. Great, everything's
going fine, and it's that lastfive it's that last five minutes when Johnny

Depp is like facing off against theKraken. You're like, all right,
col and we know what happens atthe time in the theater, the film
projector broke and so literally the moviewas playing and it did that and stopped
playing. We're like, well,what happened Johnny? What happened to Johnny
Tapp? Did he live? Andit essentially was a toy story moment of

like, well find out next week, like we had to wait like three
it between the next movie or whatever, and uh, everyone came out of
the theater. What the hell happened? And the projection was like I can
restart the movie, but I can'tfast forward to the like five minutes you
had left and everyone just left becauselike now I'm not watching the whole movie
again, like can't or won't it. So until that movie came on DVD,

I didn't know what the true endingof Pirates Too was. It's funny.
Actually I saw Powers Too before Isaw Powers one. I saw I
Saw Powers two with an next girlfriend, and then right after we got a
theaters just go to talk, Iwent, I need to buy the first
one. So I went and boughtthe first one and went home and watched
it. Wanted more Pirates, MoePirate. When Pirates was out, it

was the same time Transformers. Thatwas summer Man the Pirates Transformers what time?

okay, but when he does thosecharacters that people know him for, it's
always been Golden The Christmas one stayedon repeat in my house. I was

Knaka scratched Torburn's face. We getthat cool moment of Uh Soul doing that
