The fun controversy going on with that we found out

call what you're doing where we talk about the shows
and movies we've been watching, the games, we've been playing,
the lives we've been living. Because it is Monday's episode, Kevin,

Yesterday, me and a fan of basically home all day
because we were just tired life does take. Let's have
a home day. That's all sitting in the living room
together for twelve hours. It was great. Actually, we binge
the entire so far forth season of Babmdane Elementary.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Good season, really good seasons.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
But with that we also saw the always sunny Abbit crossover,
which was just perfect. It was so good, one of
those things where less is more.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, I think like the beauty of that of both
episodes being thirty minutes, it's like, all right, we gotta
especially Abbot. Abbot really like tries to compact the whole
story within each episode, you know.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
M hm, and like the way they kind of just
I was selling before we thought recording. The best part
about it is like, if you're a fan of both shows,
it isn't like when like you know, I don't know,
Loki shows up at the end of four two or
you know, the dormlogic. So show Falcon, Winter Soldier, it's
all in universe. We kind of get that happening whatever.

(03:42):
But when two shows have nothing to do with each
other except for they're in the same city, show up
and you're invested in both those shows. I watch all
the seasons of Abbot, I've seen every season of Always Sonny,
so I know what the characters and seeing them kind
of interact was like, oh my gosh, what are they
going to do when.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
They show up?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
And from the from the opening jump off, Dennis shows
up and says, I don't I'm like, all these cameras
around just leaves leaves shot Like that's Dennis in front
of the camera.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
He's a creepy dude.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And they've been going so far as the deep kind
of being a horn dog and trying to steal her
names like Quina Brunson on the show, but trying to
steal her her boyfriend and her calling her a bird,
like oh my god, the bird.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Think look at it. The still they still got it
not right.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
And then of course teaching Charlie how to read was
just perfect, Like it was a really, really really cross.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I think the cool thing is Sonny has an announcement
it's coming back, but they're gonna have one. I assume
that would be their first episode or pack or whatever.
It'd be excited to see like that. And then all
of them go back and watch Abbot potentially to like
see if it is before and after and all that.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Good stuff exactly, and of course Frank and the janitor
and interacting with Sperm. But it was just a really
really good crossover, and I don't think it it didn't.
It didn't. It only added to both shows and take
away thro anything. You know, it was really brilliantly written.
Other than that, I trying to watch sevens this weekend,
but then characters she wanted to play on the floor
and that was into that seven is not a background

show to show.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
You have to sit down, watch no distractions exactly.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
So I saw the first five to ten minutes. It
was really good things that I'm not want to spoil
it for you because I mean it's only it has
been out since Friday. But still, you know, things happened,
opening a couple of things like Okay, something's going on
just different now, this is very different. But I couldn't
get deeper into that. I didn't learn that got her name,
but the the teenage lady from rest developments in the Gast,

I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Oh yes, yes, I saw she looks she just got
out of this season with like the new group of people. Yeah, yeah, so.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
That was really cool. And other than that, other two
people I didn't really recognize, but looking forward to watching
it at some point. And also I can probably say
for about the I don't have an exact number, but
in between fifteen and sixtieth time i've beat mass effectul ones.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Now, did you do anything like random with your character, like, oh,
I'm gonna make them look weak, like they're gonna be
green or something like that.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Didn't do any of that for the first time in
a long time. Do I just decide to at the
end of it either can say the council or talk
attack sovereign. I actually attack sovereign. I always usually say
the council, but I was like, no, screw the council.
It piss me off this time, so I did that. Also,
I usually always Killkaden because I don't really care nothing
for that character, and I never really feel it for
a very milk toesed character exactly for me. But I

actually killed after this time, because you know her, her
character through twenty twenty five eyes is a bit problematic.
So I didn't do those two things different. So I
want to see what happens as as I'll probably saw
a mass effect too at some point tonight, because I
will not be watching the Ravens game because I am
think I already had anxiety just in general, and anxiety

that that game will cause. I just I just I
don't think I can take it. Don't think I can think.
I do think it'll be a good game. I think
the Rings have a better shot than usual to pull
it out on top. But still, it's just the whole thing.
I'm actually watching it happen, kind of like watching the
final episode of Game of Throwing. Don't somebody want to die?
You don't know who's going to be really nervous about it,
and it kind of just gets you, gets you, kind
of wrapped.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Us a lot of people. Yeah, you're right, you're a
lot of people die in that episode. I was like,
there's a lot of them left at the end of
that episode.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Like you knew when when I when I'm the Queen,
never was riding on the dragons like this could be it.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
And like, oh, Brands of the King, now, sure.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
They should bring I really wish they would bring a
continuation of that back because it's like, let's clean up
from things.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, I think it's like also like there's such h
Max now is in the Shoehorn of like all right,
well we gotta do all this prequel stuff. It's like, yeah,
but if you guys are ever gonna do your John
Snow spinoff series, like I don't know if I gonna
really care about Kit Harrington John Snow as much in
like five years or whatever whenever that comes out.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
So one pretty sure too, because I feel like both
of these shows don't be very expensive.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Mm hmm.

Game of Thrones will end before Harry Potter stars.

What do you think you mean entirely so like House
of the Dragon everything? Uh No, I think it's it's
literally gonna because like you look at the schedule now, uh,
you know, we had House of the Dragon last summer
ish essentially, then Penguin and then now we're kind of
waiting until you get White Lotus and then you have

Last of Us like like when White Lotus is done
is when Last of Us will pick up. And then yeah,
I think it's the next Game of Throne or the
the Night whatever the night one is for Game of Thrones.
But I think they'll put in the rotation. Max does
a really good job of having shows on rotations, and you're
not just like all right, what's next, Like every other

streaming service needs to learn that, whereas like Netflix and
Disney Plus we'll just like all right, well here's the
two things you like. But all right, cool, But like
after that, what do I watch? Like, I'm not gonna
use your streaming service for like two months after that?

Speaker 3 (08:58):
You know, are you excited about that that that that
Game of Thrones night show?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Because I don't know, not right now. I mean, obviously
were we excited about How the Dragon when that got
announced and we're like, what the hell is this? And
then it you know, it hooked us. But I think
it's it has the potential to do the same thing,
will it. Who knows? Just because I think maybe we
might be getting to a point we might be a
little too Game of Thrones out And that's wild to
think when we're you know, in the MCU and DCUs

coming back like you think we're superheroed at work, we
kind of are to it agree as much as it
used to be back in like twenty nineteen.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
But yeah, it's a while to think that we kind
of got walking did it out?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah? Well yeah, And that's another that's another great example
of a fandom that just like, eh, it's they've still
got new ish coming out, but I don't really care
about it anywhere.

Game of Thrones isn't nearly there yet, but I could
say it's on the horizon. Yeah, I mean they're smart,
Like yeah, I would say that they're like you know,
when you when you you finally made it pass along,
like you on a long driving trip, like I've got
on to two hundred miles to get an off ramp.
Keep this threxit four damn it. Yeah.

I think I think Game of Thrones it has the
potential to go to the Walking Dead route, but I
do think right now it's still kind of spaced out
enough that it works because I think at one point
it was like walking Dead, then Here's Fear of the
Walking Dead, and then I think it was something else,
but they had like two other ones, and then they
obviously now have Darryl Dixon. They had the There's the

Meagan and the Nagan Show. Then there's the Rick and
Machone show and it's.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Like that's on Netflix now, and I thought, I was like,
I have no interest in this at all.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah, and that's the thing too, like if especially Walking Dead,
you don't have anyone caring about Rick and ma show,
Like there are people caring about but not like the
main tree audience. Is that new Rick new mashone, you know,
and they're like, okay, cool, like should have done that
in the TV show is watching instead of ending it
randomly weird.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yeah, I feel like I still love the na Gever's
I think she's a fabulous actions, but I feel like
that show lost momentum just when they kill Glenn, and
I feel like people people are like, Okay, maybe we'll
still figure this out. Then when they killed off Carl
because of a contracts like I'm dumb with thish. Yeah,
and I think the killed the kids.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
The other thing was that a lot of the actors,
the smaller actors minus like Rick or Andrew Lincoln, were
being put in more stuff like to Nigera was Okoye.
So it's like she's making Marvel money and everyone you
know knew, where as Michhewn. Now obviously that in Okoye.
Same thing with a lot like a lot of the
other small like Stephen Yune is in a bunch of

stuff now like yeah, granted that started afters with Walking
he died on Walking Dead, but like most of that
cast is in big, big, two, bigger stuff now that
like you're all right? Cool? Yeah, like Megan or whatever.
I forget the actor's name, but he's still Megan. But
he's also was in you know, the Boys and all
that stuff.

So it was funny. Was were gonna say, see me?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan by the way, sorry, I just remember

Yeah, so yeah, that's all I really watched this weekend though,
and then of course play mass I play Mass Effect.

deep dive on fourth Wing, so it was great. I
do have Iron Flame ready to go. That's just the

series of books on ex Storm comes out Tuesday, technically
midnight or three am, depending on what story you're going
to see. A boy is gonna wake up to try
and get the Target exclusive edition online before I going
to work, So see what happens.

No, No, I don't think there's not a lot of
targets that are twenty Actually, let me check check. Is

With at least with Target, like walmarts are still twenty

to there to my house, I can hit all four

Yeah, I know a lot of people are hit or
miss on it. It definitely it's something to watch. It
definitely is if you like videos, you watch it. I
actually was talking more than I went to the Caps
game yesterday. I'll talk about that in a second. But
with her cousin and her cousins kids, the kids didn't
care about mister bestad all. I was like, oh wow,
I thought like he was your prime demographic, but I
guess not. But it's been interesting if you like his videos,

it definitely is that. And it's funny how like it
built up a lot of characters and then they eliminated
all those characters, which is great. On top of that,
finished Surviving Barstool, another reality show I'm launching. Didn't like
how it ended. It was predictable, that is what it is.
And yeah, yesterday big sports day in the DMV because
not only did the Caps win they beat the Penguins

Sports with a Z, but the Commander's won, which was
wild because More and I went to the Caps game.
They actually had the scoreboard up for the Commanders and
you could tell who had YouTube TV because like one
section over, so I'm like, ah, and then someone in
our section and have like the Wi Fi cap one
arena would work just on like when the Commanders scored.
But then we went to Hide Social, which was fun

to watch the game sports sports with sports people and
it was fun actually FaceTime brother John my dad because
when we got home it was like, I don't have
a TV. Please FaceTime one of your TV seconds who
was winning right now? And uh, it was cool to
celebrate that with my dad brother, and it's exciting. You know,
the Commanders are one one went away from a super Bowl,

and you know there is a chance that we could
have a not technically DMV because I know Baltimore is
not DMV, but more of this in Maryland, Battle of
by ninety five. Battle is a mark train, I guess
if you want to go with that, which is which
is like what like like a a twenty percent chance

I had a feeling that they could win that game.

but I didn't think they would score thirty points in
the first half. That was crazy.

Yeah, but it's a wild time, you know, being a
sports fan the d m V. You know, we have
the Capitals, the Nats that one time, uh, and then
and then the Commanders have always been the Commanders, but
just for a lot of people for the first time
in their lifetime, like our age and younger, are seeing
them actually like doing well. Uh.

The Mystics won once like four or five years ago too, didn't.

They Yeah three years ago? Yeah, obviously that's before you
w NBA got big of Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Reese
and all that stuff. But I think it's it's pretty
cool just to be watching sports now. If you if
you care. If not, it's okay. It'd be cool if
they go the super Bowl, but who knows if they
will or not.

I checked got in touch with him, like on Monday
or Tuesday. I got touch with Javi who lived in California.
Now he is okay. Everybody was thinking thinking about him.

evacuated or not, but he said him and people he
lived with are doing just fine and everything's good. So
I let everybody know think about Jobby. He's doing fine.

the TikTok twelve hour time out ban whatever happened this
weekend obviously because you know, the US band Banded by
Dance trying to get it to sell to someone in
the US to have it whatever. Yeah, all that good stuff, politics, whatever.

But we didn't know is that included all of Byte
Dance's subsidiaries. So a cap cut. So if you use
it for social media or you make videos like Kevin
was making in the middle of making a video for
his kid's birthday, it you can't use it right now,
Slash it might not exist because if it was a draft,
it might not be there.

There, So that wasn't working. And this also I hated
how the TikTok thing, like all of a sudden, it's like, oh, yeah,

we didn't realize is that Marvel Snap is also somehow

owned by Byte Dance. So Marble Stamps publisher is a
new verse which is owned by Bye Dance. So thus
TikTok currently as of this podcast recording at least, is
still banned in the US, And while TikTok was brought back,
Marvel Snap has not been brought back yet.

So so weird because because I mean Marvel In the
Martin Company of Marvel Comics in general is still on
American owned companies. You think that would be okay that
they can still use that.

Yeah, it is weird because it's like, well, yeah, it's
a subsidiary of Marvel Games. But I think that's in
this sense, it's more of like a licensing thing in
the scenario. But uh, the wild thing is Marvel Stamp
is currently going through like a big campaign of like
let's all collectively play and you can unlock these things,

and the top comments like, what the hell we can't
unlock these things? You know about this Marvel Stap that
we can't get the top tiers, all these unlocks my fingers.
But yeah, so it's been interesting. You know, your boy
doesn't play Marble Stamp as much. As you used to
a couple of years ago, just because the meta in
that game, the narrative kind of got way too got

to play it every day of every waking moment to
really get ahead in that game, whereas you know Pokemon
A TCG Pockets really just do your two things and
you're good. But I would assume if TikTok got that back,
Marble Snap should be shortly behind. But if you were
counting on participating in this event, you're going to have

to wait, and they're not gonna give you good rewards

It's funny good. Could you imagine this happened to Marble
Rivals instead of.

is like I don't remember, you can't download Marble Snap
in the app store either, at least for Apple as
far as I know, so like it being one of
the you would assume top games of people play, it's
not there anymore. That's hurting you, like that as that
game that's hurting. The interesting thing too, is that people

are kind of upset because you could buy season passes
in that game to get like unlocks, and the new
one came out. I think maybe like a week and
a half ago. People are pissed, like, hey, I paid
ten bucks for this and I can't even play the
damn game, Like what the hell ten bucks for this?
I mean, yeah, but ten bucks adds up you know,
a thousand people, you know.

And that's true. That was true. Also, like that the
the TikTok time out because like, I know, what if
people are ordering.

Them TikTok shop, like it's my order coming in. What's happening?
I said, And have not bought anything off TikTok. You

To buying one of those bank masks, keeps singing, I

I don't know what a pradical use of a bank

could be you could try to quickly within two seconds
trying to get the mask on.

Yeah, that I saw another thing they actually sell. I
guess a version of the prop Wolverine claws that will
launch out when you sweeze your fist. I'm like, I
want that. I don't know what else I will do
with it, but to do it once like I did it.

Well, if they're sharp enough, you're like, oh, hey, can
I get give me some of that? Like, give me
some of that steak I got. I'm good.

It's definitely that's a big bummer dog because like people
that actually are paying, like even people that are paying
for cap cut right now that actually I have, like
the actual the pro do you get that back if
you already paid this month if you can't use it
right now?

Yeah, it's it's an interesting thing. I know, like this'
TikTok stuff too that you know, we're all figured it
out and all that good stuff. But like it's wild
that TikTok was quickly brought back, but nothing else under
that big but it was brought back as quickly for

Yeah, as of right now, cap cut is still down. Yeah,
so I keep trying it every once in a while
