Speaker 1 (00:10):
You know, throughout the week on iHeart Radio cat services
around the world. Because my name's Hoodie and I'm Kenny
and you're officially listening to this Moneyday episode.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
On Crisis Infinite Bug. We should stop putting our our
pre podcast recording conversations on Patreon.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
We could.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Here's the thing, they're a lot unfilled, very unfiltered, and
some of the things, you know, they're just we're bawels
more than anything that I don't need to be heard
the other people.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
They need to be more than a dollar, you know,
just sometimes the rants.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, don't need to be heard by people.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Pay a dollar here a pre show. The dollar goes
to Saint Jude's something I don't know.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
It goes to Saint Hoodie and Saint Kevin's some extra
money exactly. We got a jam back show for you today.
It probably will be a shorty of an episode because
all we're primarily talking about today is that Severn season
two finale, a ka cold Haba Cold haba Cold haba
(01:18):
heal with Dunkin Donuts. We're gonna talk all about the n's,
the outs, what we think is gonna happen for season three.
Now we know that's gonna happen, plus what's happening with
a Willy Wonka reality show? And would we survive if
we went on one slash? What do you think would
be about?
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Also, I have.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
A theory about that because I don't know anything beyond
I don't know anything about that story beyond is what
you want? Okay? Interesting?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
So we'll see if Kevin's theory holds true or not.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
But you can see everything we're gonna talk about today
and so much more.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (01:48):

Speaker 1 (02:22):
No, don't do that yet, six o'clock and die you
up listen to.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Sci you want to.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I love Chop Sulley, so move it down. Yeah, buddy,
uh And this.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Is how you know we're gonna have a fun, shorty,
weird episode because it's not as formal nor of me
trying to get us through the gates.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
You know, nothing to get to today really is.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
That's okay, We're just hanging out.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Sometimes that's this podcasts just hanging out. We normally start
to show off with something we like to call what
You're Doing, where we talk about the shows and movies
we've been watching games, we've been playing, lives, we've been living.
Because it is Monday, Kevin, you good to share your
what you're doing first.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
So this weekend was one of those perfect storm weekends
where we had three birthday parties.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
To attend and did you manage to attend all three
of those?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
So it was funny. Each birthday party involved a different
member of the family. So there was one party for
my daughter's classmate. Okay, there's another party for my brother
in law, my sisters and my sister's brother in law,
and there's another party for my wife's coworker. So not
all of us had to go to all the parties.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Basically Okay, she separated, teamed it up on some of
the parties.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
So my wife and Leah went to Lea's classmates party.
We all went to my brother in law's party, and
then I took the kids home later and my wife
went to her coworkers party.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
So your wife was partying all night long. Yeah, what
you're saying.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Saturday, she had all the soda she could she conna handle.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
She's like, you know, we're gonna go. We're doing it today.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Baby Lea's friends party. Was that David Busters. I could
have it, but the mental frame RAK was in this
weekend was like, David Busters is a little bit too
much simulation and that could take it.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Because now at David Busters, because I just saw an
ad on TikTok, do they have a human clo machine
now or are they rolling that out? Because I was
they I saw that as an ad on Tiktoks, like
that has that here?
Speaker 3 (04:18):
I'm going to do that right now.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I think it depends on the location. A lot of
those stuff they do that they can kind of roll
out by the location. I haven't seen the one here yet,
but ours is pretty older. When Iro on the Mills
that was actually reforming to a David Busters used to
be called Gillions Back in the day when I was a kid,
that was like the other ends man, Yeah, go too,
we're old. But yesterday I wasn't in the mind frame
(04:42):
of going to David Busters, especially I don't know if
you got ever been on Dave buses on the Saturday
during birthday parties. Is it is? It's not good? And
then some kind of kiddick because the kids like lick
their hands to touch controllers.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
They touched everything and they don't use seeing it tighter.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
But yeah, and then the other thing is, and it
hits me, is being an old old man gamer. I
think it's me and Keviny to work on old man gamer.
I don't want to go to Jillians and play phone games.
I'm sorry, I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Angry birds and what's the ninja fruit Ninja?
Speaker 3 (05:12):
That's another one.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, a version of Crossy Roads on up there.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
At the rope is one too.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
These are phone games I don't want to play. I
want to play video games. Lap to the video game
like Time Crisis, even though we don't know. What didn't
make it a game twenty years was the other one
Silent Sniper or some sniper something.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
But they probably have the Jurassic Park one, right, that's
the only the old one they had.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
That grade is the Jurassic Park one. Is the it's
the Hateo ward Hog one actually getting the thing and
you're driving the war Hog.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
There's Star Wars one w amazing.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
But then after get through, it was like four or
five games and I was just phone game. I'm like,
just stupid. Pretty soon going there will be roadblocks and
and and and and one of Tokoboca almost two other games.
I'm sorry, it's just as you upset.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
I remember what it used to be, man, we rid
to be like we were carts in there, you know,
and the rats one.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Remember the days when people just used to get around
everybody playing Dasi's Revolution. Everybody just get around me, like,
oh go go, Like that was.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
The time there is, but it's always hogged by like
two people. You can't even get in there anymore. And
then there's always it's like Daytona Racing and then Fast
and Furious racing like those are always the staples of
every arcade.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Now for day when it was like a little bit
a whole wall of like cars cars going this far
you can drive and like a twenty person co operations.
It was fun and that was just stupid phone games.
I'm sorry. It just mad to be upset because I
remember what it was. We were kids.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
It was it was a place to be and that
was just to be damn it, chucky phone games.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
What happened to our David Busters. But she had a blast.
Always fun of David Busters and my brother in law
trying fifty five so have brefew de Troy, love you, buddy.
And after that, I took the kids home and thankfully
here went to sleep around. We got the house to
give her a bath, and she says, sleep rest of
(07:03):
the night.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
And it was just after your wife posted the dance
party between your two kids. That was after Yes, that
was because I love this this video. I know it's
on Kevin's wife's I don't know if you re shared
it too, but it is literally Kevin's two kids, Leah
and Kira, just like dancing that energy out at the
end of the night and you're sitting on the autumn
trying to start your PlayStation. I'm like, oh, he's just waiting.
(07:26):
He was waiting for this update. Through Assassine screen for
the kids to go to bed and play.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Because what happens is they both would have been around
eighty thirty and my wife falls up around nine from
nine tenth of him like it's dance. He would go,
I would wait for I need to go to big
and I'm tired too, but I went, I need some
Danny's sid But that sweet though? Did she say to
sleep all night? Leah kind of got got her herself
across the boat, went to bed. I played sasson screen
(07:51):
un interrupted. It was great playing in the dark too.
It's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
But now did you finish it? Slash? Have you been
influenced by all the tiktoks now that are about like
what to do in this game before you go further
to get this tiger later on in the game.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, it's funny. I'm further away. I'm further hiving on
all those TikTokers. So I've kind of done already got
you two weeks ago. I'm having fun with it with
the game. The map just keeps growing though, so it
still has that that bloat issue that had is that
the character is a little more interesting. It makes you
want to play more and more a little more.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I forgot to ask you this because Kevin did his
bigger review on Thursday's episode.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Go check that out.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
It's in the title to worry just leftover questions for
Assassin's Creed. Was there a lot of animus stuff minus
like I only saw the beginning stuff, But is there
a lot of like, oh, now you got to play
as it was?
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Laila?
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I think there was one opening animis like intro that
was weird because it was definitely it was. It basically
sounded like there was the animis I don't know, v
I or whatever.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Inside they're talking to you till your play.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
And then it glitched out basically actually, and then there's
some animius missions inside the game. I haven't tried to
do yet. Other than that, it's really really no no,
like you know, oh my gosh, wake up the world.
I'm coming to it in the real world. So so
far now, I think Leland died in one of these games.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I think so at the end of.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Valhalla about I think something like that.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, Desmond, I just remember that. It doesn't Homie, it's
been there for a while. Pouring off of Desmond went
off for a.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Do he died bad?
Speaker 1 (09:25):
But what else have with the game that you've been
enjoying or not liking.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
I've been really enjoying it so far. Other than the
games though. As far as TV shows, I think after
we'd difference recording here today, Uh, we'll find something to
eat for dinner and we're gonna my wife, were gonna
watch the season finale of The Pit. Uh, they feel
next show. It's a really good show.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Now, it's just now if you're like I used to
watch R back in the day of my parents, like,
is it very? I know it's got Noah Holly or
whoever the actor is. Is it very? Akin to like
if you watch the YR back in the day, you'll
like this.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
It is, but it's a little bit more grad think
because if you know Max, they can like show more
medical stuff. It's like oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a
that's a whole heart right there. Good Lord. And it's
also has a little bit of twenty four mix into
it because I think there are twelve episodes and each
episode is an hour of an overnight er shift. Oh Jesus.
(10:19):
So basically, you know, like I guess if they're going
like nine to nine, so the first episode is nine
and ten. Second episodes is ten and nine, ten, ten,
ten to eleven and so on and so forth. It's
really cool because you have to know these characters throughout
their shift and it's like, wow, this is Ba Sice.
It continues off the last episode because it's like you
stopped and then you're still there because it's only been
five minutes. I didn't want to watch it before because
(10:42):
it was called The Pit because except for it takes
place in Pittsburgh and I was it was doing Ravens
playoff season. I'm like, screwed them, I won't watch it.
But now I'm like whatever, it's a really good show,
so looking forward to finishing. And that's another show that
my wife started that I wasn't really concerned about. And
then you just kind of sit there while I watching
it and it's like it's kind of good. Wait a minute,
no holler, he pretty good.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
I like what you're putting down, just really enjoying.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
So he decided to watch that, and then of course
counting down the hours till Tuesday at nine at PM
because Daredevil man, he's so good. It's funny. Actually I
don't do this often, but we all watch other blogs.
I'll say thank you for list watch and listen to us.
We know you listen to other people. It's fine. One
of the people I've been watching for a long time
(11:29):
the other day, I actually put on their YouTube page.
I said, man, I'm watching you for a while. I
understand all you different times arguments from things good and bad.
It comes to Darn Devil show. I'm convinced of watching
different show than you are, because I love this show
and I'm not seeing your critiques of it at all.
I don't understand it. I really really don't. And I
think it has like a eighty something on Rotten Tomatoes
because so it's not like it's like a split thing.
(11:51):
Some people are just seeing it differently than others. I don't.
I don't understand it. I really don't. I think it's
a great show.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I'm having a great time. I don't know what. I
don't know else is thinking about this.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
And Agatha, I mean they're like two right now, one
on Marvel series.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
M hm.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
So I mean I don't know, maybe just me, but
you like it too, so not just me.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
It's fine. It's fine, Kevin.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
I just realized my computer update did glitch my system.
But you know, it's okay. We got you we're rolling
on your ends. Well good damn updates.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Updates Windows Window. Besides curssing windows. What'd you been up too, Bunny?
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, so obviously besides now trying to fix my computer.
So we'll have Kevin talk about some things in a
little bit when I'm trying.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
To fix it. This is pretty chill again.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
We did do late like Saint Patrick's Day party, which
was fun with the Skellies.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Your boy gets a little tipsy, but I'm not too drunk.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
We have a good time.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
We drink responsibly and it is fun. Because we're actually
starting we're gonna go plan a siblings vacation for the
Skelles family.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Siblings vacation for my side.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Of the Family's easy, it's just Disney every every year.
Really need to plan that. But you know, more as
three siblings and two of them are booed up, including
and then there's us and then so it'll be like
seven people really going.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
So in like a two months.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
We're all gonna come back with presentations on where we're
gonna go, where we want to go, and then we
all collectively will vote out of seven so there won't
hopefully be any ties. So you figure out what we're
going in twenty twenty six. Potentially as a group of siblings, you.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Should pitch yours as one of the national parks.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Well, here's the thing. Everyone dogged on me, like, we're
not going to Disney. I was like, okay, I know
a place. It's all sort of Lando, like not Universes. Okay,
I also know another place. They said, no, not SeaWorld
or bush Guards, Like, okay, all right, not Holy Land.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
No, not going the Holy Land.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
I get you there. It's probably dirt, cheap everything else.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
But we'll haven't been time.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
But so that's been fun. Obviously we're doing that. As
far as video game wise, still dabbling. WW two K
I think it is. I have created our character. I
didn't have time to do a video, so hope I'll
get a video for you by Thursday's episode. Cab, don't
worry of what we can look like. And all I
do is upload them and they're good to go. But
(14:11):
more and I we did watch and here's the thing.
She swears we watched it before, but I don't remember
watching it with her. Maybe she watched it on her
own Jurassic World dominion over the weekend. Because I distinctly. Remember,
we try to watch all the movies before we went
to Universal last year for Halloween hohr Night's but that
(14:33):
one wasn't on Peacock at the time, so we didn't
watch it.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
I think she will.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
She watched it on the flight down the Universal and
didn't tell me because we watched it. She's like, this
seems familiar. Odd thing is Gemma from Severance is in
that movie too. You're like, oh wow, that's really good.
That's really cool. Had double doses of her on Friday
Dominion bad, real bad.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Still, I haven't seen it since we went to see
the screener of it. That's that's the left first and left.
I'm seeing that movie. I'm seeing bits up bits of
it on like TikTok, and I'm just like, why are
there raptors chasing people? One Montcycle two The Streets of Italy.
I still don't understand how we got here.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
It's it's it's a time, and I think there are cool.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
I think there's just some characters in there. I don't
need to be in there.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
And the shoehorned really to get characters from plot A
to plot B and that's it. And then they pop
up later because they can fly a helicopter, like, okay, sure,
any other movie, but like someone knows how to do
it instinctfully.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
You know, gresshoppers, giant locus whatever, anywhere.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
The locus everywhere, and then there's gigant They're like, it's
the giganata source. Like, that's gigantosaurus. Get that right, giganota
source over here, it's a gigantosaurus. But we watched it.
Obviously they have a good time, but it does want
me to Finally, I need a new show to watch
because we've caught up on app it and nob Elementary
(16:00):
is kind of sad.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
The last episode, Oh what happened?
Speaker 2 (16:03):
What will tell me?
Speaker 1 (16:04):
I'm uh, it's a sad episode, but hopefully we will
be more.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
I just watched the one where they got the funding
from a.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Keep on, You're in for a treating that karaoke episode, Kevin, Yeah,
you'll get there, you'll get it. But I think I'm
officially gonna start jurass Hold on, I for what the
proper name of it is, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. Because
here's the thing, Kevin has led me wrong on any shows,
because Mara said this this weekend. We were talking about
(16:35):
Paradise and Morris said, yeah, anytime Kevin recommends the show
to Hoodie, it's a winner. I'm like, all right, well, cool,
you're probably not gonna want to watch this more so
this is a me show now, so.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Well, the best part about Convertation is the best part
about it is that the episode is like twenty women
ates long.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
So just yes, it's it is a kids show that
if you like Jassic World, probably has more than you want.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
But I will say caationous that I think there's like
five sixties of that. It kind of has the Clone
Wars effect of the new Jurassic World sequel. It gonna
give you another appreciated for it. Sometimes I like it,
but you might.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Not like it. So but you know what, it's gonna
be a good time.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Because season one happens in conjunction with Jurassic World one.
So while that's everything's going on in the park, you know,
the domind rusktting all that kind of stuff, these kids
are on the other side of the park going through
their own stuff as well. So it's a pretty cool,
pretty cool timeline thing.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
And this is a trick I tried, and I don't
know if it'll work or not. Of course, my damn
stream deck is come on, what the computer? Everything is
falling a park of it us is. I was gonna go, oh, Netflix,
we don't have Netflix right now. We have to like
watch it through a lap I talk about the hack
you watch it through laptop. The other hack is because
(17:53):
we were at the Skellies this weekend and when we
do use their account on the laptop, get to that house,
download everything, and then you can watch it on the
devices you downloaded on.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
That's probably to do it too, honestly, I think I did.
I did that with we didn't have Peacock at one
point and we were flying somewhere and then we were
like the office real quick. So that's gonna watch play.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, so interested to try that this week. I'll get
back to you on Thursday's episode if it's if it's
good or not.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
I think it will be.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
But then there's there's like, like you said, five seasons
of that, and then there's a spin off, which is
Chaos Theory, which is still going on now, carrying things forward.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
New season starts April third, and that one takes place
after the events of Dominion.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Okay, so it's setting up rebirth later this summer, Kevin,
is what we're saying.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
You know what, I didn't even think about that. It
probably is shoot now, Kevin.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I think Camp Cretaceo is gonna be on the level
of Clone Wars, where like we want live action Captain Rex,
we want live action bloody blah.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I don't think it's I don't think it's that level
yet because I feel like the families of the show
is a really weird fan base of kids and weird
dress of pokaonts like me, not really what.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
You would tell someone and they're getting into the show.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
But like I said, it's a quick watch, it's a
breezy watch. It's heavy, but like I said, twenty minutes
and you're out in like eight episodes. But it's a
lot of fun. It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
And then my final thing is it is wild to
think Mara and I's first year and Versity is a
wedd a married couple.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
It comes up in May, really like a month and
some change.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
So your boy is getting on it, and I know
the theme of year one is paper and I'm taking
that agritifitly. So I'm planning that right now and hopefully
it gets.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Here in time as well.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say, if you want to
make it real quickly, you can just like you know,
get her cash and when she comes in, makes it
make a rain paper.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Here is five dollars. But Kevin, let's get onto it.
It's time for the new.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Come on, Kevin. You can do it. You can do it.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
I just Kevin, it's tired for the.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
No no, no, no, no no news.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Oh did you hear the sound effect?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
And then I come through? So I need to myself.
Good lord? Okay, well the windows got you again?
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Man.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
First things first, First things first, I'm the realist.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Did you hear that one?
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Did I hear that one? Either?
Speaker 1 (20:23):
All right, well, we will have a talking to you
with this after this podcast. That's okay, because we have
to talk about there is a Willy Wonka competition show
coming to Netflix in the near future.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Yeah, this is this is weird to me. I don't
want to say no one asks for this, do ask
for anything that the Hollywood or any any network does,
but just a randomly say no, what we're gonna do?
A Holy Walker come through the series?
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Like what what? What you say?
Speaker 1 (20:56):
What? Now?
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Okay? I get I guess if you are something.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Sure, But yeah, so this came hot off the heels,
not really off anything, I guess, you know. Beast Game
season two officially being announced and they're casting for that. Unfortunately,
they're looking for specific people this time, which sucks instead
of just randos like us. But Netflix is bringing They're
calling it the Golden Ticket to Life. Obviously inspired by
the movie.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
They're casting contestants for a series that promises a lucky
player is a chance enters enter Wonka's chocolate factory. According
to the show's log line, the retro futuristic Dreamscape will
be a high stakes social experiment where players have to
navigate games, test and temptations designed to probe their instincts,
resilience and ability to thrive in chaos.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
What a sentence.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
I kind of wish they would do this at Hershey Park.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Maybe, Kevin, they might. I mean, it's the cledest chocolate
factory we know about.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
So that's kind of my theory because they have like that,
that whole Hershey Park like attraction building outside of the mark.
We can make your own chocolate bar, your history, all
that kind of stuff. It'd be really cool they did
this there somehow kind of keeping thinking with chocolate going,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (22:09):
And Kevin, I'm gonna test a sound effect real quick.
Well if it plays actually wait, no, do you hear
that one?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
That one?
Speaker 1 (22:19):
One of these days, Kevin, one of these days.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
One of these days, I'll get you to hear everything.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
But yeah, I think the interesting thing with this is
what are they Are they doing a survivor route with it.
We're gonna eliminate kids and then all of a sudden,
looking people are gonna come in and sing you out,
or like, what's gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Those kids are dying. You're just sitting there singing help them?
Speaker 1 (22:42):
This is how the episode ends, or about don't don't
worry about Kevin. He's drowning and chocolate help help him? Please, Kevin.
I'm gonna test this real quick and see if you
do you hear everything I'm saying right now? Uh? Hello,
how are you doing? It's okay? Now do you hear this?
(23:05):
I do hear that?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Okay? Now do you hear this one?
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yep?
Speaker 3 (23:09):
We'll break it down, baby, okkay.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
We figured it out, all right, all right? I have
Kevin keep talking. But Kevin, if you were in this competition.
Say it was you and well to say Leah entered
this competition? How far are you going anything?
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Me and Leah? It depends you can get competitive?
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I would say at least to the round of four. Okay,
four left, and that's my way. We gets a little bit,
a little bit.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
We're talking to ruk assaults level is where we're going
right now?
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Or was that the gum Lady?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
I mean that salt I think you would right, Okay,
I no, gum lady was all right, so here, let's
let's figure this out. It was Augustus gloope and it
was gum Lady. She was second. Oh wow, you guys
are going out second is what we're saying.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Maybe maybe maybe a second. We're not gonna make it
all the way because what's on fighting, but we'll make
it past at least the first two.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Okay, we'll get there. We'll have a good time, you know.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
But we have is you a more? How far are
you guys getting?
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Me and Maura?
Speaker 3 (24:10):
You know, here's the thing thing I think Mike TV
is when we're gonna go out, because who doesn't want
to be in at their TV show choice? You know?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
That's a good point. It's a really good point.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
I think easily what you can do with this competition
is you're themeing around those main eliminations or something like
The TV one is like kind of like it was
a Nick Arcade back in the day, where you're like
inside the video game, like on the the Games and
Sports Channel. Yeah, I'm for the nineties. It was guts
and double there every thirty minutes on that channel.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I always wanted to be on that show, but we
never on vacation in the right time when you were filming.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Couldn't go to Universe Orlando and filming now. But I think,
really you do that for Mike TV's level of ruk assault.
It's something with gee or whatever. The golden egg, the
gum thing is a tasting one, the Gustus gloop one
is a tasting one. And Charlie is just don't drink
any phizzy lifting drinks or whatever it. Don't lie it
(25:12):
or you'll get nothing.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Good day.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
The Charlie bucket one is you have to stand an
adult yelling you don't cry. Don't cry Charlie all right nowhere, no,
when the show's happening. Obviously, cast their casting now so
you can do that. You can do the Beast Games
that one's going on now too for casting. So just
get your money on, you know, be part of the
reality show.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
I mean, it's it's a cool concept. I don't think
it's a concept they've done in all the concept of
reality game shows. I think this is one that maybe
just hasn't done yet. That's the vibe what they kind
of did it with legl Hinton Temple a couple of
years ago on c W. But I don't think they
might watch that. It wasn't well marketed in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Yeah, and then there was the c W one two Yeah, yeah,
especially a pout of that when he calls back jerks,
maybe they're still waiting. They're waiting for us silver steaks man.
C W is about to be sold and they're like, no,
we'll do that later. Kevin them guys, c W, did
you see that Powerpuff plot reboot thing or whatever?
Speaker 3 (26:14):
It's gonna like rough, real rough?
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Why did they I can't I can't remember their names,
but one of them was kind of like a, uh.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
I'll say nice to a night walker, bubbles bubbles walker.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Why would you do that? Like that's I mean geez,
just make make our cash here at a Walmart and
something like that.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
That was it was now what we expected when they
said the cast and everybody like all right, looks.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Up, Oh all right.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
That is I think there is a way to make
a darker version of the girls, but that wasn't the
right way.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
And it is weird too that that plot got like happened.
I'm like, we had Riverdale on he did we not
go that route more with this.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
It's a good point, it's really good. But Riverdale it's
the other one of the empire. But diaries like that
one hundred it was there. It was like what you
did was just weird.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
It was a halfway mix between being the flash in Riverdale,
but didn't find it wasn't the right anyway, it was right.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
And then Moto the monkey died but he died and
turned to a man like it was a monkey. What okay?
Speaker 1 (27:23):
But something we do know about Apple's losing a billion
dogs sober Apple TV plus.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Now from what I read about an article, I guess
the Apple TV is like in that Apple subscription departments
of like Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Fitness, Apple Games.
That's like the division of Apple TV is in and
apparently they're doing well. But Apple TV is losing a
billion dollars a year for some reason. And I'm just like,
(27:52):
all your stuff is good, how are you losing that
much money every year?
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Yeah, so I think it makes sense that this can amount. Obviously,
as you know, we've wrapped up season two of Severn
so and we'll talk about that episode. We just kind
of wanted to get some news out before we do
spoilers on everything like that, and we know, I think
the Studio comes out is the next show on Apple
TV Plus that's coming out, and there's a couple more
on the horizon. We'll talk about that in a second.
(28:18):
I think how Apple TV Plus loses its money is
what we tell you about all the time, is take
advantage of those free trials, is that people be on
these free trials for a show and then bounce out.
So then it's wasting money of just holding these shows
for forever that everyone's seen in the first get go.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
And not only that, I mean right now, well it
took us three years for season two of Severance, but
right now on a year and a half from show
I went, I wait for a fraw mankind, we're on
a year and a half or two years from Monarch,
it's been two years.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
It's ted Lasso, which we'll get through a second.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
So that could be an issue too, where it's like
people are getting really bested in these shows and then
there's no season two within a year and there's like,
look at your your statement? Why was to Apple TV?
Can cancel? I don't even watch it anymore?
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah, I think More and I we got a trial
from PlayStation because of Severance. When Severance first season two
first came out this year and it ends April seventeen.
So I told More was like, hey, any show you
want to watch, get that in because I'm canceling. Really
you want to watch Dickinson go on Girl watching?
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Now watch Silo Watch? Well the one is kind of
like sile but it's not. Silo Invasion is another one.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Well, Apple had a good ad where was like, oh,
what to watch next? After Severance? There was everything that
started with an S on Apple TV. Plus I'm like
ninety percent I have not heard about such.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
I know besides Silo. You know it's shrinking, that's it.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
I feel like Apple TV if it keeps going away,
it's going and not not not to mo the money
side of lose money side. We're gonna have a soon.
But if the quality of TV keeps up the way
it is right now, they could arrival HBO. Max says,
like when an HBO shows out, it's different than san
Netflick show or Disney show. Yeah, it's just a Apple
TV show. We would have great acting, great set design,
(30:05):
just a great world. Like just like if you Max,
it's the same top three things because when you watch
when you watch Game of Thrones, when you like it
or not, you definitely are immersed in that world.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
It is weird too that Apple still has like you said,
it has those tears still where like Severance and ted
Lasso are here always.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Silo is like we'll say a bee, yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
And you have free all Mankind's kind of there too.
Then everything else is and shrinking. I guess I would say,
is a bee for sure too? And then everything else
is still trying to figure out to get in.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
And then and I said, another thing too, is like
they I don't say I was gonna, you know, market
well for your shows because ted lessels everywhere and that
was one that that was everywhere.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
And Severance has been everywhere this year at least, but.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
I feel like Apple should have a kind of like
what Netflix does now, like like twice a quarter now
the te dum thing says, here's what we got coming
out with this quarter. Boom, is this that, this, this, this,
this this.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah. I also putting more of a personal touch on
it too. I think.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Now has become more like it's more just backstage interviews,
but I have people more interested on what the show
is gonna be, Like the Studio which comes out in
like two weeks or whatever. I know seth Rogen is
in it. And then and Catherine, Oh what's her name?
Speaker 2 (31:18):
What's your name? In the long time? She was in that.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Catherine O'Hara is in it too. I'll be really good. Yeah,
and then but I don't know what it's about. And
I when you see the trailer, like, okay, it's Apple
TV Plus show. I'm not really hooking me right now.
Like if I see Stranger Things or the Netflix Local Pop,
U'm like, oh, is it one piece or whatever is
going to pop up on there?
Speaker 2 (31:45):
I've heard that's good. I actually might watch that cause
we have to. We have a screen it for that
actually and all of them on there. I might watch
that actually, this week if I have some time, because
the other thing about that is a Seth Rogan show
now is like as good as gold, because I mean,
you got this. Even the show he did with I
can't remember her name, but what was it called Platonic
(32:08):
about a friend? That show was good, of course, in
Vincement was great. The Boys is great. I love that
was good. Future Man, which is like now scrubb from
the internet you can't find anywhere any more unfortunately, but
Future Man was really good. Seth Rogan show is now
kind of like appointment programming for me at this point.
What what what he does for a show just speaks
to me. I don't know why. It's like it's always
(32:29):
just really good.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
But yeah, I think overall really Apple TV. Just like
Kevin said, the market it shows a little bit better. Obviously,
your at your A tiers are going to do great
every time, especially like a Severence. They just put a
box in the center of Grand Central Station and that
got people hyped as hell.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Like I saw, the more you do it, the more
as you get on it great.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Because I think we're still in the era of Netflix
and Disney plus being like now everyone watches it, but
you have it just in case that Disney movie comes out.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
You know, I saw earlier they actually it was on
TikTok Ikea is selling Severs inspired furniture so you can
make it.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
It's literally just like the the noise blocker they used
for their desk and they're selling it.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
You're like, wow, Number one I know is going to
buy this. And the question for them that would be,
why why do you want to make.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Have behind our podcast behind the where we're podcasting right now.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
That would be kind of cool. It'd be funny too
if we did that behind us and they have like
all like the dance parties happening behind us two. We're
just oblivious to it.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
But Kevin, let's talk about it. Ted last season four
is happening now, so that's great we're doing.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
We kind of thought this when the Now the season
three for Now season three finale was posted, because I
remember it changed from the series finale to Cities Lye Finale.
They like to change the name of it in like
Apple TV. This is this is the happy, Happy news
because I remember just as they is saying that they
filmed two and three back to back because they knew
(34:08):
it was gonna be a while before they got back
for fur if they ever got it. So now what
happened that they actually had the time to get everybody
back for the show. This is very excited because a
lot of people are very busy, very very busy.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
Yeah, I mean most of that cast has blown up,
even the supporting cast.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
I mean, Hannah Watting is everywhere now, which is great
for her.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
But they did confirm kind of teasing the New Heights podcast,
and Apple tv Plus did confirm it season four is coming.
You know, Jason Sadakis and Juno Temple are the only
two Kiley to confirm to be coming back for season four.
Right now, I'd assume everyone's coming back unless they're busy.
But it will be interesting to see if you get
(34:47):
the fans to come back for Ted last those season
four because three kind of.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Put a button on things.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
It's two a degree and a lot of people are
like it put too much of a button on things like, oh,
we got hit from point A to point B very
fast like that. The rumor is they might be focusing
more on like US operations with Ted. I mean, it's
called Ted Lasso, It's not called a f C Richmond unfortunately,
So yeah, I've heard that.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
M also rumor that he's he's coming back to coach
the women's the women's football team and not the men.
The men. The men are still can be coached by
by Roy Kent. He's coming back to take over the
men the women's team, and it'll be interesting too. Uh.
What was the show? The wrestling show with all the females.
That was hilarious and I'm looking forward to kind of
(35:31):
see them.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Yeah, and I think I mean, yeah, keep going.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
I don't say that this the same like awkward team,
and actually we got from the men, am see from
the women. I think it's even funnier.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
I think too, is like look how much the cat
I mean not the cast didn't really like blow up,
blow up, but like when you see them in other projects,
you're like, oh yeah, that guy from Ted last obviously
like Danny Rojas, he's everywhere in his life.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
It was a whole Super Bowl commercial.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Eth I think how many female comedians or actresses you
can or female actors you can get into those type of.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Roles and then they can blow up from this show too.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Yeah. Great, because Sam I can't remember came rest nothing
right now, but he was in something else recently that
was like big too. I can't remember what it was.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
He's gonna be in something coming out. I forgot what
it is. You're right, but I saw him and you
saw me see the trailing.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Saying awesome, you know, so yeah, yeah, I think it's
the right move. I think obviously when we talk about
Apple TV plus it was Ted Lasta for the longest time,
especially cause seven the first season, and now it is
severnth So invest in your cash cows and then see
if Silo still has some life in it. Silo is
really like trying to get there, to be that third
(36:43):
tier third show, but it's still not there yet for me.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
My first show for me still well fourth show because
right now it's right now. We don't pick an order
right now. For me, it's shrinking, I'll say Severance, shrinking,
ted Lasso and for all mankind. I still for all mankind.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
And you know, Mythic Quest is just doing its own thing,
you know, it's just there.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Question of guest starring. One formula of the podcast Jobby season.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Three, I think it is three in a flashback, so
watch it and he's in there.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
He's in it.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Looks awesome, but Kevin, let's get into the god t
your show of Apple TV plus right now. It is
time to talk about Severn season two's finale. So that's
bring it down.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
Oh oh, there, don't like it, Kevin, I do not
like it. There's been a problem, though.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Your problem. You're a big problem, big, a whole problem.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
But we got to the finale, y'all, and whoa, what's
it a movie? Our fifteen straight content ten minutes of
credits and behind the scenes things which if you didn't
watch it, go check that out. That is just a
good explainer of their little HBO like this will happened
on the episode. Thing well worth it because it explained
(38:08):
some motivations of some characters.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Yeah. I actually ended up hold my bosses watching this.
I actually watched this at work on Friday because I
knew I was not going to have the piece I
needed to watch it at home and nor I also
knew if I got home down TikTok, open up a TikTok,
particularly to say here are the five you've bits from.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
It was a struggle Kevin Friday morning of just trying
to like, what's that door, don't look at that door,
and wait till you get home.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
I told More, Hey, I know you're off today. Before
we do anything.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Severence, I love you, but I love starts after Separence
is over.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Once my shows, once my soaps are done, We're back
to one baby. We're back to one baby. Go on.
But Kevin non spoiler, what did you think of the finale?
And I guess we'll say the season as a whole.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Season as a whole, I would say, is a what's
the word looking for a tea? Not not teas, but
just an exploration of this world of Lumen in this
I guess it's America. They haven't really said it to
America that I can remember of, but I'm assuming it's America.
And this episode was just a tense, tense ride of
(39:19):
emotional emotional expression between the Mark's arguing between Cobell telling
him how to get in there and get out, when
Mark as is actually in the seventh floor and trying
to get Jim out. It's just like, Oh my God,
what's gonna happen? I'd expected to fight, There's been no
fighting in this show for two seasons, and then suddenly
(39:40):
like the no one should do in this season this episode,
let's fight.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
And it was like, OK, and gave Adam Scott a concussion,
which is what happened.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Oh really, that's great.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
We'll get there when we get there.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
And then of course miss and Milk, Miss milk chick.
He's trying to do his job.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
Man's mid He can't wait either way.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
God, He's just like, man, I'm trying to clock in,
give us people to do this stupid files and go
home to whatever life he is outside of that.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Place, whatever dance I'm dancing too, you know, and I'm perfect.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
He could be in a dance troupe and he can't
enjoy it. Morgans. He knows once he's done practice that
night is go to bid, wake up, go right back
to some stupid people on the Cethern floor. But all
in all, this is definitely an approven over the last
season because I feel like last season gave you a
taste of what us being severed means, and now you
kind of have like a full recognized pedal, like, oh
(40:29):
my gosh, there's so many questions to ask. What goes
into being severed and leaving and leaving being severed? All
is anything in between?
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Yeah. I do think.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
The season two a lot of people are like, all right,
we're gonna open it up and explore more of little Man.
And we did to a degree, obviously to cover some mysteries,
but open up more like, like you just said, the goats,
we've learned a little bit. But in this finale, like
what what does that mean exactly that we're trying to
kill a guild?
Speaker 3 (41:00):
You're like, what the hell were offering its essence to
or whatever the hell was it?
Speaker 2 (41:04):
What is the sacrifice? I mean, if you're if you're
in religious stuff, they should sacrifice goats in the Old
Testament as a way to appease God or God's depending
what got your restaurant back then? Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
But I think really this show has been really great
of just having having those like what the hell is
going on?
Speaker 3 (41:25):
Like, oh, that's what's going on?
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Love the TV show, which is what you need really
just like to be interested in the show for a
full hour. I mean every episode was forty minutes to
an hour and the finale be an hour fifteen And
like this is literally like Severance the movie, if we
were to get a movie of Severance, and this is
really this season.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
This season I think had a total of twelve characters.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
I really think too. That's what works best to is
to have this limited. There's some extras here and there,
but like is the core twelve or less and those
the ones that are you know, pumping in fuel and story,
who are rallying behind and all that good stuff. The
finales as a whole, I had a great time. I
just think, like I said, it was a thrill ride
(42:10):
and it is. We're playing the heightst We're gonna do
the highst hes gonna go wrong. What we're gonna do
once the high schools wrong?
Speaker 3 (42:15):
Pretty much?
Speaker 2 (42:16):
I start write the plan, do the plan, the plan
goes wrong, just the plan, I'll go to. Let it start.
I talked about it a long time, Captains.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
But Kevin, let's get on into it. Here is full
spoiler warning for you, because we're gonna talk about all
seven season two as a whole and who it's worth it.
So if you want to pause us, come back and
we'll talk about spoilers with the don't worry, we got
you covered, or hear us talk about, then go watch
it yourself.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
Because you need some motivation to watch it all.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Yes, I mean just to stop and if you haven't
watched whole season, just don't go to work wrong. Just
watch whole season to night.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Yeah, it'll take it ten hours. That's like, what got it?
Speaker 2 (42:58):
That's three am.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
You got that out? But so we'll just go.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
We're off the bat not in order, but my god,
that ending mark?
Speaker 2 (43:09):
Where is that?
Speaker 3 (43:10):
Mark? S said?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
F you Audi. I don't know this woman at all.
And the thing is, where are you going?
Speaker 2 (43:20):
You can't leave the seventh.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
Where he goes Kevin as long as he's with Helly
or slash e is it her.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
As a TikTok? There, that's Kevin's brain already.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Yes, as soon as it like he shoved out through
the door and he had to wait. I'm like, no,
he's not, He's not going to do that. He's like,
oh my god, he's doing it. He's doing it.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
And it's just really sad, but also like there's some
hope in this to a degree. But I want to
say this right off the bat, milcheck Tremmelle Tillman is
the MVP of this show. I know this Adam Scott show.
And we root for Zach Cherry all the time because
we love him. Pamel Tillman as mister Milchick has been
(44:07):
the most entertaining character and my perspective of this show
every time that man is taking it too next levels
every season. First season it was just him dancing, and
we use that game all the time, and we're celebrating
and dancing.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
And now it's him orchestrating the whole marching band.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
By the way from the district, Washington, d C.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
Hell, yeah, that's right local.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
But I guess we'll go in order just to talk
about those two big things, and we'll talk about everything
when we'll get there again. But the episode does kick off.
It was wild to get like a big ass sizzle
reel of here's all the Apple TV blush shows to watch, Like,
I get it, you're trying to do HBO right now.
We know you come to the other of this, but
Grid of Us yet, come on, you got three more
(44:50):
weeks of us still still expired. But the episode kicks off.
It is colebyl No, not summoning any Mark into a
different body or an We're like we were predicting. It
is her telling them any Mark at the birth and
cabin that you know your Audi needs you to rescue
his wife and uh in the means of having any
(45:11):
versus outy communicating is that each recorded message, and I
thought it was done very well. Of Okay, Audi Mark
sees the message on the balcony, Eddie Mark sees it
by the fire and it was funny those two statues
by the fireplace where teases.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
What's what was the come in the exact same episode,
which was cool.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
I'm still getting tired of these shows doing doing things
like this, like stop teasing me with these words I
don't know about to ask. The show is over and
you're like, oh, that's smart enough to know what statue.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Is and you're like, oh, no, it's it's just Gwendolin Christie.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Okay, cool, I got I got what that was. And
then the big guy.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
But really, we find out that Audie Mark is trying
to convince any Mark to rescue Gema, even though he doesn't.
Any Mark does not care about her at all, even
though that's kind of been the mission to a degree.
Audi Mark does lied in his any saying, you know, like,
hey know, the whole porn of me reintegrating was to
get you out of there. I no, it wasn't it
really just to save your wife. And You're any catches
(46:05):
onto that immediately when you tell him that it goes
on the defensive.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
I want to commend Adam Scott for this role. He
was doing a great job in the show regardless, but
seeing him go back now, I don't know if they
did like, you know, are your Mark asking now? Talk
to the camera, cuts break for ten minutes, come back
and now you're Mark action. No, I don't know if
he was doing back and forth like that, but the
fact that he even looks different between Mark and Marks,
(46:30):
I don't know, way he does to his face just
a match of class enacting really really, really really good.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
The main thing I noticed too is that Audi Mark
has it like a deeper, more somber tone, where any
Mark still has that Hey, I'm a little bit hopeful,
more hopeful and everything because I'm not weighed down by
life and everything town. Yeah, and you could kind of
like when they were talking and you're like, oh, that's
how they sound different to it.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
Agree does a really good job, But I don't know
what the unpel point in me this year. I don't
know how amies work, but I hope he's at least nominated.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
I hope he's I think this all I mean if
this show will definitely be nominated for I assume drama.
I assume definitely notably not comedy because that'd be weird.
But okay, it does my laugh.
Speaker 3 (47:09):
Sometimes it's not drama, I will say, yeah, sure.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
But eventually we do find out that Audi Mark kind
of convinces is Any to do the job.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
But we're not really sure if he's gonna go through
with it or not.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
And then we cut out of the cabin and is
Any Mark showing up popping in the elevator to work,
and it's going down, y'all. He's gonna finish Cold Harbor.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
He going and they were they were watching him do
it like it was. It was kind of like watching uh,
drawing the last shot. They were really excited about.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
It, the moon landing. You're gonna watch this happen. We
do find out, kind of as as colebol and Mark's
sister taking him back to Luman, that they're gonna kill
Mark in Gema either way when they either finish Cold Harbor.
If they don't finish Cold Harbor, so you might as
well finish it and see what could happen. But the
(47:57):
main heist plan, Mark finishes Cold Harbor, his Any runs
then to the Black Hole with the elevator that will
then activate his Audi to rescue Gemma, and then they'll
go through that door we haven't really seen this season
since season one to get them both out of there
and extract them.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Great plan, very like you said, very heisty, but we
all knew it wasn't like, you know, to point there
out and then everybody's happy and nothing.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Nothing bad happened at all, you know. But it is
also we see Helly does meet with James Egan. I think, great,
James her Audi's dad, and it's the dad saying, you know,
like I don't see Kear and my daughter, but I
see him, and.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
You oh that feistiness, like it is weird.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
But then he goes to like a watching chamber like
you just mentioned, to watch Mark finish Cold Harbor. At
the same time, they're seeing Gemma uh suit up as
she's done this season into her in the Cold Harbor outfit,
which is her and her her death clothes essentially what
she died in.
Speaker 2 (49:02):
You know, do you think when they were casting that
guy to be James Egan, they're just like, no, not
weird enough, thank you.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
Next, no, no, okay, we'll put you in a way
you're good.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
He looks so like he like the way he says
this one last week, I want to watch you eat.
What the heck do you watch me for? It's weird.
Speaker 3 (49:26):
Maybe he can't eat Kevin His chompers ain't chomping no more. Yeah,
but we do cut to Mark.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
He does pop into the seventh floor, and the portrait
has been replaced with like a whole art piece honoring him,
doing like kind of like a last supper. Yeah, yeah,
honoring Mark, And here's our entire cast supporting him and
everything we see the seventh floor. The lights are off
and they're really not like letting him have freedom anymore. Like, no,
(49:59):
we are guiding you to your desk, and those are
the only lights you're gonna get.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
This is your destiny finished Cold Harbor, and make this
the greatest day in kre Or Egan illumin history.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
Yeah, so we then they obviously get down to the desk.
Mark does finish the files. You know, obviously we're told
what the files have all been about this season. That's
really like your emotions and your memories tied to them
and the tempers. We find out which it finished, which
was part of the mystery. We got revealed but not
fully revealed what it was going to do. That Gemma
(50:32):
is alive. We'll obviously find that out next season of
like has she been alive the whole damn time?
Speaker 3 (50:37):
Or yeah, they bring back to life and all that stuff.
But Mark finishes the file.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
But before what happens next happens, we do see Uh,
it's Dylan is back in the office. He didn't die
because his Audi said no, if you you're going back
to work as punishment, and so he's just chilling in
the break room the whole time reading his message from
his Audi that meal chicks. So I'm all of a sudden,
mil Check just bounces the hell out of there real quick.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
That's gonna be my favorite gift to use. And I
found it worthy to use because I don't know if
it's up to you. I haven't checked yet, but I'm
pretty sure it is up there right now, and I
can't wait to use this on something.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Uh, And you wonder what mil Check is running to
Kevin and what is.
Speaker 2 (51:20):
That get changed for the show? Baby?
Speaker 1 (51:22):
We got get the showy shows.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Real quick though, so we know what right now we're
going into. After Jamie completes Cold Harbor, they get like
a band, a live college band type style band, play
them in celebration. The coolest thing about this is not
just this on this on the actual show when I
guess they aired this, I want to screen this for
from seven fans. He came out with the band like
(51:49):
on the stage.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
It was at Paley Fest, which is like a TV like,
this is what's coming celebrating TV festival like the conference thing,
Ain't that?
Speaker 2 (52:00):
Like?
Speaker 1 (52:00):
Uh, Trevelle Trammelle, Tillman there there you go, came out
with the full thing.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
He's still rocking the mustache.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
She's like, well, he still got me filming.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
I guess keeping the mustache.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
You know, I know he's going to be in the
next mission. Impossible. I'm kind of hoping from here his
career kind of takes off, uh upward and as a
matter of fact, looking at his age right now, he
could be a certain marvel. That's the color blue. I'm
just saying. I'm I've done it in a while.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
So I do think, Yeah, he is one that I've
kind of said he's gotten the big glow up because
of this show. Obviously, Zach Cherry too, I think Britt
Lower as well, and everyone else kind of been established
to a degree, but I wouldn't be surprised to see
them in a lot more. Obviously, Zack Cherry was in Fallout,
and he's been in a lot of things for smaller things,
but Trammelle Tillman like killing literally like once again being
(52:51):
the meme of the weekend, just like doing the dances
where there's stuff squabble up or TV off or anything
like that, making his full marching band happen, and just
having a dope ass time with it. And it's funny
that they have when before the marching band comes out,
he does a whole little speech with the kere robot
(53:13):
statue whatever, And it is funny because the robot statue
is programmed to make fun of Meal Chick's verbose vocabulary.
Speaker 3 (53:24):
And and you're like they programmed this earlier.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
I guess before you said devour vaculus, I'm assuming, And
he's just rolling with it, and for a second, like
is there a person?
Speaker 3 (53:34):
Is this a robot?
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Like is there a person in the are they using
this for like AI or something? Just because like you're
in this whole world of like what the hell's up
with this robot?
Speaker 2 (53:42):
To a degree, also it's clear that Walt Disney doesn't
exist in as well because that ematronic sucks.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
It does not exist, mister Lincoln. But the marching band
scene happens. It's dope as hell.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
That is literally this you're gonna talk about TV in
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
It is gonna be in a moment a moment.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Everywhere the Ammy's I wouldn't be surprised if Tremmel Tillman
comes out doing that.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
Also for the next like six months.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
But all this is going on, Helly does steal Miltick's
walkie talkie, distracting him as Mark goes off to the
dark hallway to go down to the we'll just say
the gem of floor.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
I guess uh in doing so.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
Uh. Milchick goes after Helly. She traps him in the bathroom.
We think he's gonna bust out, and then Dylan pops
in with the vending machine out of nowhere to shove
him into the bathroom. For the majority of the episode, again,
just like.
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Last year, Dylan is the MVP of the seven employees.
He just shows up like when he's needed, like yo,
I'm here. And also on the other hand of that,
all milchick wants to do it give these people a
congratulations that he feels due to them for doing that job,
and they are grateful at all.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
Not at all middle management, baby, middle management.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
But we do see.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
I like to call him the yah yah ding dong
guy because if you watch the the Eurovision movie on Netflix,
he goes more ding dong in that movie. That. Yeah,
he's the handle of the big the big handler guy.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
That's that's funny.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
His his real name is like Oloffsonson. Essentially, that's a
very European name. It's it's Olaf for Olofson.
Speaker 3 (55:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
Okay uh, but he's coming off the seventh floor. We
find out there are more hidden secrets in these severed
floors than we think because he goes like this random
lab room and we also see Gwendolen Christie the goat
lady with the goat, transporting the goat to sad room.
Now the whole concert is like, what the hell's going on?
Looks like they're gonna sacrifice the goat. It's like a
(55:49):
nail gun thing sort of, I guess is what you
could say that gun was.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Yeah. I had another theory. I thought they want to
use the goat. As like a USB drive. Okay, I
thought they when when they have when it got done
with doing that, they're gonna do with Gemma. They're gonna
take her chip out and put it in the goat.
See what happened. That's that's what That's what I was
thinking us to add like like like a holy facility.
And they got Gema to the new body.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
A lot of this really was more we're planting seeds
for the next season type of stuff like that. We're
still not sure what's going on, but we're intrigued by Yeah,
we find out Gwynell and Christy the goat lady doesn't
really want the goat to be sacrificed. I forget what
the name the name of the goat was, but uh
Olaf will just say, uh it was just like it
(56:35):
doesn't matter, it's what's cred Once and like all this stuff,
they all of a sudden, here he's about to shoot
the goat. They hear Mark trying to bust into the
dark hallway. They open up the gates and all out
physica fight happens, where Adam Scott literally did get a
concussion getting thrown into a wall, and they kept that
in the shot and I.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
Was this whole time watching I'm like, I'm sitting at chanting,
Come on, Brianna Tarth.
Speaker 3 (56:58):
Show me you a wow.
Speaker 1 (57:01):
Jump and then we get coming out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
It was great because I haven't seen her much. Things
stayed sadly, that's sure. It's been a lot of things
over across the pond, as they say, but I was
going to see her fight again. I'm like, I'd say
it like that to see her fight again.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
Honestly, you know, it's it's not a great season TV
show unless she's beating an old bearded guy. But eventually
they uh, it does look like one of the Christy's
about to kill all Off. But now Mark comes in
says I need him. She lets him go in the
dark hallway. We find out, you know, she really liked him,
and you know she's glad that this could happen.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (57:43):
Any Mark does take all Off in the elevator, it
does the severed thing where his Audie Mark, and all
of a sudden it just nerve impost kills all Off
and just he that's your outing waking up, just blood
squirted on you the whole time. What's going on?
Speaker 2 (57:58):
It's funny. It was it was. It was so probingly
when it happened, But at the same time, I was
also like, we kind of deserved it. He was kind
of you can tell he was kind of a jerk
behind the scenes. We didn't see much of what he did,
but we know his.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
Hands worklean and you also got to realize too that he,
as far as we knew, he was Helly. Herlena Egan's
only real ally yeah, true, working at Lumen. So now
her only real ally is gone. We'll see what happens
obviously next season. But Mark does pop up on the
Gema floor. He does get to the Cold Harbor room.
He sees the handler lady that's in there, and she
(58:31):
goes hap off, you're weirdot you check out and runs
away As a bit of comedic tone to break up
this height yea going on, Mark does use olaft blood
to get into the Cold Harbor room where we see
in there Gemma was deconstructing the the what is it
called again, Kevin the cradle?
Speaker 2 (58:51):
The cradle because that was a scene from episode six
or seven, last back episode. Yeah, they're trying, they're trying
build a cradle. But I think she had a miscarriage
it was like a whole thing all that, which is
what I think they were trying to protect the pains.
They say, like kind of and pain people. If she
can figure out how to build a crib, I remember
that she had a miscarriage, then we effectively block pain
(59:11):
from people, basically.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
Uh. But they get her to do that. Mark does rescuer.
They get out of the room. Uh, and it is
Gemma becoming Gemma again. They have a great moment. It's
the one time characters will be truly happy on the
show and you're excited and rooting for them. They run
to the elevator as they're being chased, get in there
and make out and all of a sudden, Nope, it's
(59:33):
the therapist lady from season one, and it is any
Mark kissing, which is weird, but I mean.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Going back, there was a little tension between them. Maybe
makes something here too, I don't know, but nah, he
love Helly.
Speaker 1 (59:47):
But you know, any Mark does keep to his promise
and gets Gemma to the hallway all the way to
that exit door. All the while Milchik does bust out
the vending machine as Helly does go chase after Mark,
and it is dealing and the marching band. They rallied
them to their side, saying f you, Milchick, which was
the same line he set at the end of season one,
which is cool.
Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Now, don't get me wrong, I know Milchick has a
role to play in all this evilness is going on
in Louin. But I hope that wasn't bludgeing by Trombones,
because would he deserved that at all?
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
I'm going in the face.
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
But we cut to the hallway where Mark any Mark
does get Gemma out, and she does become Gemma again.
She realizes Mark, come on, let's go, Come on, Mark,
let's go, and any Mark, here's Helly saying Mark turns
and his great cinematography. The light, the red light that
was on Gemma. The whole time cuts to Helly and
(01:00:42):
Mark goes with Helly into the beyond of the severn floor,
which isn't too beyond of a beyond.
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Now. I don't know about your wife, but my wife
would have called me twice the second time she'd opened
the door and pulled me through four. I wouldn't have
had a decision, but she.
Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Would have busted through that glass in the middle, gotten
your doors here, get out of here. Now the Paley Fest,
which keV did mention. Uh, they did reveal that apparently
Mark's sister and Kobel are supposedly weighty in the parking lot,
So you assume that's where Gemma will be rescued and escorted.
But it will be cool, hopefully for a season. The
(01:01:19):
show ends with Mark and Helly running into the bask
like we just said, uh, now that instead of Mark
rescuing Gemma, it is Gemma trying to rescue Mark from Yeah,
it'll be cool, turn off faits and hopefully more acting
scenes and more recognition for the actress who plays Gemo too.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
I also believe too, and then we can kind of
get into our season three predictions.
Speaker 3 (01:01:39):
Predictions.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
I feel like season three is gonna start with a
hot situation, the Seven. I've taken the seven hostage basically,
and then nobody and nobody out.
Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Yeah, I think it is just like, all right, we've
been severed for one hundred days and it's like all
the families on the outside of what the hell let
our families go?
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
But they won't, you know exactly. And then also, what
does that do? I wandered to the severed person because.
Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
All they got is mints in there, you know, kind
of like full that.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
And are you designed to be severed for more than
a day or more than seven more eight hour shift?
Because even Gemma, she was severed multiple times, she would
come out and to go back in. It wasn't like
she was severed for twelve hours and then or night
for days at the time. So a lot of a
lot of cool questions coming up for season three. Yeah,
I do think John Turturro will also come back. He
wasn't in the finale at all. I think he'll come back.
Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
I think, like we said our Core four, obviously, Gemma's
now in this too, but I think you have to.
I think it's just the witty banter, which is always fun,
and that will well, we'll make Christopher Waltkins's character more
already Teeter tottering this season of being an ally to
an antagonist to flip and go more antagonistic in the
next season two.
Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
Yeah. That and also I still don't trust his husband either.
Something I feel like his husband makes.
Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
His husband's always a bad guy and everything he is
him for that typecasting.
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
But also I feel like the way he felt about
him possably having an affair in there and him not
knowing about it, but he said he's okay with it.
He's not okay with it, he's okay with it at all.
So I think he has more role to play in
this whole story as well. And also Jamie Egan, who's
kind of watched the whole thing happen from where he
was watching, like, yo, yeah, I was here for one thing,
and every day everything else happened. Somebody's dead, his blood everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
Yeah, it's gonna be a interesting ride. They did say, then,
you know season three, it's already, like we said, already
been renewed for season three literally like an hour after
it came out, the finale came out. But Ben Stiller
did say that it is going to be a lot
closer or quicker in between seasons. Obviously season this season
was impacted by a lot of strikes, the pandemic.
Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Yeah, and obviously just it's Apple.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
So they want to be a little more thorough in
the seasons. But I would say probably twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
So when we get the next.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Season, I'm not I'm gonna say next fall, next fall, next.
Speaker 3 (01:03:58):
Faalter all twenty six, twenty six, Yeah, okay, I'll.
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Say maybe this would be a series we get either
as summer ends and we're going into that, you know,
the fall TV season. This debut is maybe like October,
or it could also debut maybe in December whereverb I Goes,
Goes and pray for Christmas and it kind of they
well released two three episodes and like watching on a
Christmas break, So I'm hoping for next and the next
(01:04:25):
year we'll still kind of be twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
But still yeah, overall, if you haven't watched this show
at all, I think it is well worth it this
finale episode, being like this is worth the cost of
retrial or Apple TV plus for a month, because.
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
I think it's gonna be for twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
Just one of those TV episodes you talk about that
that sits with you for a while, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
I also do think and I'm kind of borrowing I
think for another remember that show on Netflix called Ultra
Carbon m Joe Kimman was in then also Anthony Mackie
season two. That's that shows. Whole concept was that like
your personality and your everything that made you you was
backed up on a disc that was placed at the
top of your spine. So if you die theoretically you
