Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the northing you need to know on
iHeartRadio and podcast services around the world. I'm Kevin going
solo today and you are listening to or watching this
Thursday or Friday episode of Crisis on Infinite podcasts. Now listen.
It's a lot of things going on last two days.
I literally have all the news basically even some news

(00:31):
I actually cut out for today because literally all the
things have been happening within the last two days. So
I listen to us. Welcome. This is my name is Kevin.
Like I said this Christ on Infinite podcast You guys
can always hit us up on Infinite Underscore Pods on
Instagram or Twitter, or you can do like everybody's going
right now on like Andy Dragon, JP Perry on the chat.

(00:51):
Watch us live twice a week on twitch dot tv
slash Infinite Underscore Pods. While you're there, use your prompt
subscription that give us a little sub helps us out
and kind of cost you money. But you already have
prime anyway, so let's just go throw your boards descriptions.
It's no big deal. But if you don't want to
watch this live, we understand. We also have YouTube dot
com Slash if to Underscore Pods for all your on
demand needs, and we have hundreds of videos up there.

(01:13):
We started doing that YouTube channel during the pandemic, so
it's a lot of things on there that if you
wanted to you go chronicle the start of a thing,
the development of a thing, watch the thing, and then
watch us review the thing. So it's kind of cool
to see that that's again on YouTube dot com slash
if the Underscore Pods. Now, like I said, we got
a lot of stuff to get to, usually the podcast

(01:33):
of what you're doing. And I'm telling right now, I mean,
I haven't really been doing anything since Sunday. The Ravens
loss put me in a little depressive mode on on
a Monday on Tuesday, but you know sports, it happens.
But honestly, been just consuming all the things that I
needed to watch to get ready for the show. So
I have watched gen V, I have watched Marvel Zombies.

(01:54):
I would have watched Peacemaker, I feels available earlier enough
this week. What else? I've watched all the trailers needed
to watch. It's been a very very nerdy week for
me because for some reason, everybody said now to release
everything they got to do this week, so as I
usually do when I'm solding by myself. I'm a old man,
I have a dan brain. I need to do like
a visual representation what I'm talking about. So heres today's

(02:15):
run down. We're going to give you the I'll give
you my review of Marvel Zombies that was released yesterday.
We'll talk about that in a second. We're gonna talk
about the Manduel and Grogo trailer, which was released on Monday.
I believe also today today, yesterday, yesterday? I think yesterday. Yeah,
where's today?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
It was today, I can see the right now. Today
also we got another Avatar fire and Ash trailer, which
is I did not see coming today, and then yesterday,
I'm thinking. On yesterday we got a Wicked trailer, the
final Wicked trailer for Wicked for Good that's going to
be coming out this November, So I guess that's that's
about time for a final trailer in September. We're also
going to talk about the long o waited, long awaited

(02:59):
Wolverine trailer. That was it. I yes, they stay the play.
Like I said, I've been spending this whole week just
consuming the things I need to consume to compare for
the show. And finally we will talk about Genev's new
episode that was uploaded yesterday and kind of give a
because Genev is how far I mean episodes of gen V?
I think that halfway through now if I'm not mistaken,

(03:19):
let me just that will check my math here do
gene V Season two has eight episodes, so yeah, we
are halfway through GENV now, so kind of give a
midseason review of that so far. But yeah, a lot
of things are happening this week, so let's get kick
it off right now, drop right into the news. This

(03:42):
is gonna be a quick review. And again, I forgot
the sounder. It's only in a folder somewhere on my computer.
I can't find it. I don't know where it is.
But one day I will load that in to trust
the obs and I will have that for you one
day when I'm solo. Today is the day, though, But
so yesterday Marvel released and Marvel Zombie limited series. I
believe it is four episodes about thirty minutes apiece. And

(04:07):
if you're not familiar with this, Marvel Zombies had an
episode during the first season of Marvels What If animation series.
What If It is a bit depending on who you
talk to, is you get different pinion about it every time.
I rather enjoy it, some others don't, and that's fine, whatever.
But they released four episodes just dedicated to that Marvel
Zombie storyline, and this basically is a continuity of that storyline.

(04:33):
So I watched all four today and I gotta say,
as somebody who was not excited for this, didn't feel
like we needed it to be honest, I'm not a
real big fan of out of Marvel Zombie's comic book
series either. I just feel the whole zombie thing is
just a trope that we all just got really excited
about what ten years ago and now kind of is

(04:55):
over it. But all that being said, this wasn't that
bad of the series. It starred a lot of characters,
a whole lot of characters. It starts out with uh Kate,
Bishop Reary Williams and Kamala Khan. Excuse me it Actually
for the first two or three episodes, I was wondering

(05:17):
why did this make it an animated movie because it
kind of flowed together very well when you watched the
first three episodes, and when you watch the I'm not
going to expoil anyth because any drug Uns only watched
first two. I'm not gonna spoil anything on here about it,
but the first two really have your heart streams pool.
A lot of it involves A lot of it involves

(05:39):
the uh what is their last name? Romanov family, you know,
the Guardian I can't remember the name of their mom
in Black Widow, and also Lana Blova not Romanov Belova,
the Belova family and just putting a chat to spoil
Kevin spoiler. I'm not gonna spoil it because I your

(06:00):
own opinion on it. But the first three episodes of
this series is amazing and it kind of takes place
in different events of the zombie outbreak. Basically, the first
episode is about Rriy, Kate and Kamala. The second episode
is more about Shang Chi and his friend what was
what was her aqua finis name in that movie I
can never remember Katie and also offic Jimmy Will because

(06:26):
they played to Francisco so they kind of had their
view of everything, and then at the middle of episode
two they kind of brung them off all together in
a very avengersy way. Basically, really really, really great storytelling
behind this whole basically zombie Apocalypse. The mcguffin basically is
that they have a transmitter that they can get out

(06:48):
to space. They can call an overcord. An overcord can
come out while my all zombies and the Earth come
over again. That's that's the plan basically that is stressed
throughout the first two episodes. The third episode begins with
another flashback, which is basically what happened after the episode
in what If of the Zombies with Scott Lang's head,
Peter Parker and T'Challa, and involved them going to Waconda

(07:11):
and meeting up Thanos and basically, uh, some things go
down in that episode that I said, I'm not going
to spoil yet because again I want I want to
get your guys honest opinion, because I will say, I
want to say I watched all four. I didn't like
the ending too much. I thought it was a bit

(07:32):
not an ending, but more of a like maybe they'll
do this again next year, and I kind of didn't
want that. I kind of wanted this to be an
ending like their last Halloween special whereth by Night had
an ending. Basically, I know there's something that there are
points that could jump off from whatever by night where
it ended, but it had his own subcac story. This
one I didn't really job at the ending. I'll say, like,

(07:56):
if I will give this a score, if the ending
had landed and the ending had the ending had had landed,
for me, this may have been in the maybe I
don't know, high seven or eight out of ten, B
plus eighty, whatever you want to say. Because of the
area ending, it's more of a solid seven for me.
C plus not saying it's bad. It's not bad at all.

(08:18):
It's actually it's fairly entertaining, but I wish the ending
would have been a bit more succinct. And again we'll
talk about it more when Hoodie gets back. I want
to get too his opinon of to we'll probably give
you more of a more of a spoiler review of
that next week. But that being said, if you have
time this weekend, watch it. It actually is. It's really

(08:38):
it's really, really really good. Again for me, the first
three episodes, well, i'll say up until the last two minutes,
I'll say it's really really good for me. I really
really liked it. It's definitely worth worth worth some eyes
if you have young kids. A couple of words in there.
I'm not they haven't heard before any other Marral movie.
I would say the whole family could watch it. It's

(09:00):
not too scary to be like, you know, a Halloween
or spooky season themed thing for Marvel. There are a
few jump scares in there, but nothing out of the
nothing that's that's that will keep you kids up to night.
Put like that. But yeah, marbls Zombie is not bad.
And this is coming from a god that didn't want it,
so I was kind of happy to see that it
actually was pretty good. I was actually in my in

(09:22):
my office doing this earlier watching this, so I hope
my bus isn't watching. He probably you know, he's probably
on the road, soybody's not watching. Maybe he's listening tomorrow.
That kind of suck, Yeah, Andy Jeor jump between the chat.
The gore was a bit surprising. A lot of gore
on this. If I know a lot of kids, not
of parents will say they like, keep their children from
gore or language or language or gore or both. If

(09:44):
you're on the gore side, don't watch this. There's a
lot a lot of gore, even not minus to the zombies.
There's a lot of a lot a lot of limbs
splitting and blood splatters in this show. Lots lots lots
of that. But yeah, go watch some Marbles. Zombies is
actually a pretty good time. So after that, I want
to get into this next thing. Here, we'll go over

(10:04):
to Reaction Theater baoom, because now we have trailers to watch,
lots and lots of trailers, and there's our guys right there.
So we like I said before, we got the Mandalorian
and Grogu trailer earlier this week. I believe it. Like
I said, it was Monday, I want to say it

(10:24):
was Monday. I feel like it was Monday. Now. I
kind of saw a little bit of this trailer during
during a Sommer celebration. It was it was TikTok on TikTok.
It was somebody's it was just somebody's phone. Watching the
screen wasn't great. So I was kind of excited to
see that the more HD version of this trailer. But

(10:48):
we will give it a watch right here and I'll
tell you what I think about it. So we want
to hit playing in three two and one called the
Mando Baby. I'm liking the orchestral mandal thing like it

(11:20):
how's it when we were in school, guys always hungry?
Look at that actually has another sickney on a jackie too. Well,
that's mean. I can't remember name of the fighter he

(11:43):
has now. But what's cool though, what's cool? I'm really
christing that repressive m some big Droyds. O Lord, this
is the way baby, that's cool. That's cool, Bye bye dad,

(12:09):
see you later. Mandalorian. Then grogool Baby, what's.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
The I'm nexs.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Good shot baby, good shot baby. So yeah, that's the
Mandalorian and Grogoo trailer. If you're not familiar with this.
Ben Laurian has three seasons and they announced that the
next one would be a full length movie, and this
is what's coming out. This would be the first Star
Wars movie in theaters since Rise of Skywalker. So that
was pre pandemic. So that's twenty nineteen, I believe, so neighboring,

(12:51):
not far away from it, but about seven years ago basically,
so eight years there's my math. So this was the
first trailer they were like again released. It was one
was leaked out from Star Wars celebration on TikTok. It
was it was gray Footagel finished on first this is
our first HD look at the movie, and I will

(13:12):
say and I say this because I'm still gonna see
this movie. Not the best trailer for me, I'm not
any more excited for than I was before seeing this trailer.
I think it was just kind of more of like, Okay,
we're here and we're coming out next year. So I'm

(13:32):
hoping the next trailer will be a little bit more
story in it to see what's actually going on and
why we need a movie for this, not why it
can't be in another season of television, which I would
kind of rather have because just my personal opinion, I
like television a little more because you have a lot
more time to dive into the universe and you do
a TV movie show. Movie can be as long as

(13:52):
three and a half hours, whereas TV show can be ten,
so you have a lot more time to live in
the world of the TV show. So I'll open the
next trailer is a little bit more story driven. But
this trailer, I mean, it's okay, It's not the worst
trailer I've ever seen it. It's not like the first
Dutoba trail, which is crap. That was a horrible first
reveal of Zutopia. I don't know who prove that, but
this is It's okay. It was great. I mean, I'm

(14:14):
already fan of Mandalorian, I'm already fan of Grogu, so
this didn't move the needle for me to make me
more excited about seeing them on the big screen. But
at the same time, it has been a while since
we have seen them on screen. What was the last
It was the last season of Mandalorian. What year is that?
I don't remember. Man the Loorian on Wikipedia, season three

(14:41):
was in twenty twenty three, so worth Wow, it's been
almost three years since the first season, Amando. That's crazy.
I do not realized it's been that long. Yeah, any
jonals the track, it doesn't have that original original trailer original, yeah,
original you feel. I do agree with that, and that's

(15:01):
one of the reason why I've always liked mandal because it
literally feels like the original original trilogy. I think there's more.
I like to say like this because I'm Transformars fan.
There's more to me ci with this trailer and with this,
with this franch with this friend does and with this
upcoming movie. I think they're hiding a lot of stuff

(15:22):
from us because there's something because remember when we last
saw Grogu and Didijar and the Mandalorian, they have a
whole army of manl Mandalorians united right now, So we
didn't see any of that in this trailer, and we
know they're around and he can just call them basically
probably and they'll be around. So that being said, while

(15:42):
I am not too impressed by the trailer, I'm still
excited to see the movie next year and and then
and also again, this will be the first new Star
Wars movie in theaters in almost in eight years, so
that is something else to be really really really excited about.
So now let's go on to our next trailer here,

(16:04):
and this is, of course, this is our friend now
I can't remember, I don't know her name in the
movie yet, but she is definitely a little bit crazy pants,
been through some stuff. Because if you're familiar with the
first trail we watch, this is a particular tribe on
Pandora does not believe in the god noway or I

(16:24):
can't remember what the avatar god is name, but whatever
his name is, they don't believe in it. They're like, nah,
ain't no God. We good. This trailer was released this
morning actually, and I said a while ago that I
think this is gonna be the third time the charm
for me, because there's parts of the first Avatar I like,
and then the parts of them like U. This is
just kind of a rehash of other movie ideas, which

(16:47):
all movies do, but as much fanfare different to Avatar,
I God, I thought be something different now with the
second one, Avatar The Way of Water. I like that
on one a lot. But the kids really annoyed me
in that movie, like they were just stupid to listen
to your parents' kids. Hey, this is any is there
if there is any message I can pass along to
our listeners that may have kids in the Carl listening
to him right now, listen to your parents. They kind

(17:09):
of know what they're talking about. They kind of been
through it, so just just listen. Good lord. But so
The Way of Water annoyed me. Then I didn't like
it none. I wanted to like it. This kind of
annoyed me. So let's go ahead and give a look.
And this mean I asked my first time watching this,
I haven't seen this yet. At the new trailer for Avatar,
fire and Ash, that's it. Play this is the only

(17:33):
pure thing in this world. The fire came from the
mountain fire fire band our forest forest.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
My people cried for help for it, but.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Did not come.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Maybe ayone was in the bathroom. Now I want to
ride ride animal Kingdom.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
That danger.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
I swirled goes my sticks sully deeper than you imagine.
I want a pat way for a friend and be great.
That's a lot of animals. It's a lot of panther

(18:32):
stay in the cover. Maybe a friendly. Oh now they
burning a jellyfish? Lord, jellyfish alone? What is that stings together?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
No, gentle one, he never quits.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
That's right, So he's never quit.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
How do you si live?

Speaker 1 (18:55):
What if it be a human being on earth? Could
live here without a mask? Nothing mask anymore? Wow?

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Will be gone?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
See evolving. You're gonna spread your fire across the world.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
You need me?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Oh, I see what's going on here? Okay, we want
to fight. I'm go no go your mother.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Dank.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
That's a that's a whole way to die. Nice. Wow,
I failure my flam le pay god Wow? Heay all right? So,

(20:04):
like I said with the last trailer, while I'm excited
to see Manloy and grogrou that trailer to not hype
me in hype me, make me more hype to see it.
This had the opposite of that, I really want to
see this movie now. This just from this trailer, it
looks like it might be the more action packed edition
of Avatar. Not saying there's no action in the other ones,
just like this would be a lot more of it.

(20:25):
This almost looks like an Avengers endgame level of action
at the end of this, like, and you're gonna put
in the chat okay, I see James Cameron exactly. This
looks fantastic. I'm not gonna lie about this. I'm not.
I'm not. There is an air of I wanna say,
centiphile supurity when it comes to the Avatar series, like

(20:49):
people are too smart or too affluent or whatever hody
toity to appreciate what Avatar does for the cinema. I'm
not being that person right now. This looks great. This
looks amazing, This looks action package, looks thrilling. It looks
like this uh fire tribe is going to team up
with the I can't remember the guy's name, but the
guy that died in the first when it came back

(21:09):
to life as an Avatar and the second one that's
kind of working for the humans and the corporation to
you know, basically purchase planet of the Navy so they
can have it for the unobtainingum which I hate that word,
still hate that word. And the other tribes aren't having it.
I am for this. This looks like it's going to
be an amazing time because you know, eventually what's going
to happen is uh that they're going to team up

(21:30):
with Jake Selly's tribe and when that happens, good lord.
And also this little side plot of the human king
I can't remember name, the human kid from from the
Way of Water. The sidepout of him adapting to the
to the atmosphere of Pandora is really interesting. That's really interesting.
And then the fact that if they can do that,
all humans can do that, and then they can leave
the Gunna trash planet Earth has become in this world

(21:52):
and moved the Pandora. Possibly that's that's that's crazy. This
this looks like a two billion dollar movie. Again, Like
I think both avatars have made two billion dollars. Let
me check my math on that. I mean, not both
all three. I'm pretty sure that's correct. Let me. Just check,
mister box office mojo. Here do do do do do.

(22:16):
Let's see Avatar one is two point nine billion. All right,
why won't you doing the thing? Do the thing, do
the thing. There you go. Avatar Way of Water has
made two point three billion, so less than the first one,
but I mean two billion is two billion for counting here.

(22:40):
Spider is a kid's name. Thank you. I'm Andy. Dr God.
This is going to be another two billion dollar movie
because I think that even the hotius titius of centophiles
who turn their nose up at Avatar, the actions and
scenes this movie is gonna be amazing. Just for that.
It may bring in more of the late people who

(23:00):
aren't die hard into like a Harry Potter franchise or
a Star Wars franchise or a MCU franchise. They dislike
Pandora and what this movie offers. There are more people
like that. I'm gonna go see this movie just for
the action. So and also this is like another family movie,
like I don't see anything, and that's the kind of
the one of the ways you make a billon dollars
in theater. Now we got to bring a whole family

(23:21):
out because while still two tickets we can sell for
basically just a simple math. But yeah, I'm excited for
this and I'm looking forward to this. I passed on
the last Avatar screening I was invited to you. I
may not pass on this one because it looks pretty cool.
So I'm sorry, Fire and Ash. You got me, you
got me, you got me. I'm locked in. I'm definitely
definitely locked in. All right now for our next trailer

(23:46):
for just the trailers today, I'm not going to sing
the song because now I'm not gonna do that. Wicked
for good. Wicked came on the scene last year and
everybody kind of lost their natural minds about how great
it was because it was a really good movie. I unfortunately,
have seen Wicked probably about I'll say I've seen it

(24:08):
about fifty times directly and hundreds indirectly because Wicked is
my youngest daughter to cares favorite movie, and it's always
on either on a tablet, on a TV, on a phone.
It's on something because if you want, if you want
her to sit still so we can do something like
change diaper, do her hair, brush, teeth something, or we
need to do something and she needs need to not

(24:28):
to be around, we put on Wicked, and she will
lock into Wicked. So so yeah, Wicked, Uh kind of
changed the world, I want to say, for a lot
of people last year. If you're not familiar Wicked, Wicked,
it's been on Broadway for years. I don't know when
when it started running on Broadway, but it's been on
broad for years, and I finally adapted into a film
last year, And unlike most other Wizard of Oz films,

(24:55):
this one was actually wildly, wildly appreciated. I want to say,
because there been Wizards of Our sequels, none of them
have been great. None of them have been great. I
think they all came out pre nineties, at least pre
mid nineties, but nobody's liked them, basically, And this is
more to it of the play written by oh god,
I'm so bad with names, who wrote the Wicked play.

(25:22):
Winnie Holtzman is the play right for Wicked. So this
is more that a piction of that, and not really that.
I think there's some stuff in the books in it,
but not a little so much is because I mean,
I don't know if I'm not sure if in the
book is the fiography song. I will never know that
because I'll never I will never read the book of movie,
just not the Wicked one, but the fian Gravity came

(25:44):
out last year and pretty much took over the world.
And this is going to be the second half, second
part of that movie. Because the plays in two acts.
Wicked is the first act for Good second act. So
let's go in and see what Wicked for Good has
some store for us in November. As they play, couldn't
be happy here, it's more important than ever that you lift.

(26:09):
I say amount of horrible. It is horrible, and I
don't like her. She's definitely reaching the teacher from the
Order of Phoenix to me levels of the horrible.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
No, I don't like her as no worry.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
I'm obsessulated.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
The one really selves it bec is.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
The Witch's come.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
It's the Wicked Witch. Wizard lies. I love that you
can wave that wand all you want, but you have
no real power. She told her. She's on her side.

(27:07):
I'm a public figure now. People expect me to fly,
be encouraging. Oh the fight, Okay, let's go. Do you
compersist this?

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Who could you know?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Who could? Alphaba?

Speaker 2 (27:23):
There's the house and it's flying to the s guy.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Oh, what's her name. I'm off to see the shoot
carry lions. You look scared.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Brand me in the room of the wickeded Wish of
the West, so I have coold stop this too far, Alphabe.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
They're coming for you, the wizard sucks man, not with
your eyes, with theirs.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
I've heard it say, people come into your lives for reason.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Here's a plan. I have no plan. Well I do,
thank God, how would you? I'm happy they could be
come friends again in passion. This movie uled Witch of
the West. I call it fall Lord as a passing
like the Siege of us Got. This looks pretty cool.

(28:30):
This is the work called the Wicked Witch consite because
I'm new here? What you done to me?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Because I.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Wizard? Okay, what's one one? Think of what we can
do together? Or Wicked for Good? November twenty first, this
is kind of cool. I know from a lot of
people who've seen Wicked on Broadway say the Act two

(29:13):
isn't as good as Act one. So this trailer to
knowing that, this trailer looks to me like they kind
of know that the best act in the play is
the first one. So they put like they put in
a lot of effort into this one, a lot of
a lot more background stuff, a lot more I don't know,
character like character building, because we've already see at some

(29:34):
point in the movie g Linda and Alabar beefing, and
then by the end of the movie their friends again.
So this is interesting. I kind of like this. How
would say this? I don't like Madam Morrible at all,
Like I really wish she would go away. It seems
to me like even though the Wizard is a jerk,
she's really the bad guy in all this. And again,

(29:56):
I've never seen the Broadway play, so I don't know
that's the point and line Mikes and Champions. I Mike,
this looks like it's going to be another hit, though
I'm not gonna lie. I think just from the level
of excitement and the way it took over the pop
culture zeitgeist last year, I think this is gonna be
another success for this. I know my daughter has already

(30:17):
seen the trailer. I wanted actually to review with me,
but she'd rather played roll blocks, So she still upstairs
playing roadblocks. That's fine. She had a long day in school.
I gotta get it. So now she's going to kind
of want zone out and not to speak to anybody,
but this looks kind of pretty cool. I had no
intention of going to see this in the theater when
the first one came out, not because I was against
what this movie was anything that. I've just never been

(30:39):
a big Wizard of Ods fan. That being said, this
looks like it has more to tell than just like again,
like I said, I've seen this movie hundreds of times,
directing in directly, and now I'm kind of curreoed to
see how this relationship of Alphaba and Glinda developed going forward.
I kind of want to see that because, like I said,
they were beefing and the beginning of this trailer and

(31:00):
then by any of their friends. Again, I want to
see what triggers that and what is their plan to
basically get rid of the Wizard. I'm excited to see this. Actually,
I'm not gonna lie. I'm not a big musical guy
in the theater. I think the last musical I saw
in the theater was Shoot might have been Jersey Boys,
and that wasn't really a musical. They're just playing their

(31:21):
songs movie. I can't really remember then. I can't remember
I seeing the musical in the theater. It's been a
long time, but this is like it's gonna be another
good hit for Universal, another fun time in the theater.
Hopefully that they have screenings as well. They had last
year off singing screenings. People can know sing all the songs. Also,
I think get read. Also, I think they have two

(31:41):
or three original songs in this movie, so it'd be
interesting to see how those are received compared to the
song we already because I know a lot of Disney
movies do that as well. When they make live action movies.
They put like the song that the Beasts sang and
Beauty the Beasts at the end when Belle left, that
was the original song. There was an original song in
Land I remember, Oh yeah, the one. She's Naomi, Naomi,

(32:02):
Naomi Rose her name. She sang like in the middle
of Jafar taking over. That was the original song. That
was a great song actually, So it means those original
songs are received with this, but we get for good.
November twenty first, I might be there, I don't know,
might suck it up and go see this in the
theater with the family. I'm embarrassed. I don't care. I'm

(32:25):
a girl dad. That's what we do. Anyway, Going forward,
to our final trailer. If you saw our thumbnail on
YouTube or you saw a thumbnail on Twitch, it's Wolverine.
This game was announced. I want to say it was

(32:46):
either like post pandemic or like right as we were
in the Pandemic and Timing announced it were they were
going to do a Wolverine game. And I'm in a
Wolverine game, like cool, win what you know? And I
was four years ago, I five years ago, so yesterday
doing Sony State of Playing. We finally, we finally, finally, finally,
finally finally got a trailer for this again. I was

(33:08):
driving home. I just got tend like to put in
the chain byt PS five just about another year not
being sold. Honestly, tend of Mike. I think ten years
from now we'll be we'll be saying, we'll be saying,
remember consoles, but everyth gonna be on PC. It's is
gonna be the Steam is gonna take. It's the Steam Store,
the Xbox, Microsoft Store, Sony Store, That's what's gonna be

(33:30):
going forward. I feel like this is this is what
we're gonna be. But I feel like we are we
We're gonna be the the old guys in the uh.
In the in the retirement home, I'm playing PC games
on granks. Came you slay, you're still playing on console, granded,
leave me alone. I like it when I was on console.
That's gonna be mic, that's gonna be all of us.
But yeah, we got we gotta finally got trailer for
Wolverin yesterday. Really excited about it. So let's even a

(33:52):
watch here in three two and one.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
That's all.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Oh okay, if you were curious, what's gonna be rated?
I think that first scene I kind of children longer
than I can remember.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Oh yes, I'm going insignia.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
I'd like to say I'm not a violent man.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Sound a very awkward has a way of finding me.
Oh good lord, i'd be lying. Okay, that's a backup
where I go man like smelly mountains. Oh you needs
have an arm? Oh no, oh no, oh god, how

(34:55):
far I run? H make a red cool that's always
waiting at a man named skin.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Just not for me?

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Nice? Oh oh god, dang nice mystic. Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Because I ain't no hero.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
I'm best at what I do for reader. Yes, oh okay, okay,
uh insomniac I know we have to wait a few
years for that, but uh, you're doing You're doing the
Lord's work. That looks it looks amazing. That looks really,

(35:54):
really really good. I believe they said they will let
us know more about this game in the spring up
next year, and it releases Fall twenty twenty six. I'm
like to putting the chat gas. Yes, all gas, no bricks.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
I remember, I remember when they announced this game, people
were afraid they're gonna make it a little more t
T for teen. Not this ain't tee for teen. This
is this is m M rated. He evituated the guy
within the first forty seconds of this trailer. There's blood everywhere.
His claws aren't just hitting people like one of the
one of the complaints people have about the Jedi series.
It's like when you play with what was his name,

(36:29):
like Kyle Gatar Calcastis, and you're you know, you're hitting,
you're hitting stormtroopers with lightsaber hits, and it takes like
the last hit to knock the you know, the limb off,
like no, no, no, one strike from a Jedi would
basically knock a stormtrooper in half. Just like this is
what this has The effect of when his claws hit.
They hit. They don't just hit. They go there slicing

(36:52):
their dice in, they're impaling, They're doing all the things
we would love them to do while playing the video game. Uh,
it looks like in this game, we're going to be
playing multiple points of Wolverine's career because he's in his costume,
he's in a fine shirt, he's in like a jacket,
and then like maybe the Canadian wilderness. This looks like
it's gonna be a journey through wolver Wolverine psyche. And

(37:12):
actually that makes sense because I watched the like behind
the Claus thing they did. They did in this game
right after I think the trailer played, they played this
behind the class they gonna saye the play. And it's
one thing I never thought about is that Wolverine is
not the most reliable narrator of his story because because
of his his you know, his all his trauma in
his life and his healing factor. There's a lot of

(37:33):
things he can't remember because simply his body won't let
him remember rememor it basically, So like his healing factor
affects more than just his body, you know, saying he
gets chopped uh limb chopped off girls back or whatever
like that, or his scanning heels back. It also affects
us his brain. His brain's always also healing as well,
so a nott of thing he just can't remember. So
it'd be interesting to see how they tell this story
of a Wolverine over the years, basically going forward to

(37:56):
see what his story is and also what is the
story what is the sort of gonna tell with us?
It's just about him getting uh you know, him getting
the manim going to the Weben next program and all
that kind of stuff where we play as young young Wolverine.
Will the X Men be involved with this, because I
mean we saw we saw a mystique and here, well
look look she might be a playable character. Would be interesting.
That'll be like a cool little Assassin's creed stealth mission

(38:19):
because she'll be able to, you know, basically take the
form of any person she wants to, and she's also lethal.
And it also it looks like I remember report saying
it's going to be like kind of God of Warriors
as far as the levels go, where we open world
but open world to a degree, and it kind of
looks like that here where it's a level design, but
you can definitely see it's more open than it would

(38:40):
be saved for if it was I don't know, think
of the game like os Miro game where you're going
one way. Basically, this is not gonna be a lot
of fun. I'm hoping that we see the story is
gonna tell Wolverine through all the dreams of his life,
so we see him in the classic blue and yellow costume.
I'm hoping that's like the mission starts with him on

(39:02):
on the Blackbird Jet with the X Man and then
for some reason he gets on his own mission and
then Wolverring, we need you right now. And this is
likena be a lot of fun. Here's a mistic thing again,
what's that about? Like this is oh my gosh, I
am I'm a lost for words for this one because
it just goes so many ways and it looks amazing.
Fall twenty twenty six, so this time next year we

(39:23):
could be getting our hands on on wolver Ringe for
the first time, and this looks like it's going to
be a lot of fun. I just hope. One thing
I do hope is that I believe. Actually, then before
I say that, let me make sure, I'm right. See
Spider Man twenty What was that twenty nineteen? I think

(39:45):
twenty nineteen, twenty eighteen? Time to beat? Not interested for
that right now, I'll say how long? How long is
Spider Man to be? Here?

Speaker 3 (39:58):
We go?

Speaker 1 (39:59):
So the first Spider Man, if you just do the
main story doing anything else, is seventeen hours. Main plus
I mentioned is twenty five and a half hours. If
you do everything in the game, it's thirty five and
a half hours. I'm hoping this is the least a
fifty hour game. I'm sorry, I need a little more
than twenty five and a half to thirty five and
a half hours. That's basically a weekend. I want. I
want to spend more than a weekend on this game.

(40:20):
What was God of War? God of War twenty eighteen
time to be I can't remember what it was. It
spent a while to beat the first God of War.
The main story in God of War is twenty and
a half hours. A completion is fifty one hours. If
they keep the completion this level to about fifty hours,
I'll be happy with that. I'll be happy with that.

(40:44):
A good point season put in the chat at this
point in Soniac might be the might as well be
the only developers able to touch Marvel games. He's not wrong.
I am a defender of the Avengers multiplayer game that
came out during the pandemic, but I understand that that
game is not good. I just have a lot of
fun playing it. I'm sorry, Black Panther, being iron Man,

(41:06):
being thorn fine around shooting stuff is just fun to me.
But I understand that is not what you would call
a traditionally good game. I will say the Guardians game
at the same movement Studio made I think it was
square Inix was square Innix. I think it was scary Innis.
The Guardians game wasn't that bad, and I believe because

(41:26):
The Adventures was so so disliked among so many people,
the Guardians game didn't get as much shine as it
should have gotten. But if you get a chance, you
picked up Praying Off like ten bucks. The Guardians game
isn't bad, But going back to Wolverine, I'm hoping it is.
It's a little lengthy. I don't need an Assassin's Creed
style where it's like never ending, go here, stabby missions,
but I'm hoping that the narrative lasts more than thirty

(41:49):
thirty hours. It's just me, this is me personally. I
love long games like that. We can just kind of
sink your teeth in too. But Wolverine next fall will
be in our grasp and I can hardly wait. All Right,
With that being said, we've finally reached our final topic.
A quick gen V review. Gen V new episode was

(42:11):
released yesterday. We are now in four episodes I believe
of gen V and so far, I will say, so far,
so good. I'm really enjoying this series.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
So far.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
The writers on The Boys have a great way of
just kind of sucking you into their madness and making
you feel like also I want, I want to say,
holding a mirror up to you, but holding a mirror
up to the world like this. This series was put
into production the season two at Least Let's See began

(42:49):
in March thirty of twenty twenty four, So it began
almost a year ago, a little over a year ago,
a little under year ago. But some of the points
that are hitting in this series are happening now. It's like,
and this is this is a recurring thing with the
Boys where they will film a show a year out
and for some reason when the show is released, the

(43:12):
things that are happening in the world currently mirror what's
going on on on The Boys The Boys Boys gen
V show. I don't know how to do it, but
having that unnatural ability makes sure enjoy the show even
more this uh, so far this series, we're still trying
to figure out what uh the power is of the

(43:34):
Dean Cipher and then episode four spoilers spoilers, spoilers spoiler,
we figured it out. He has the ability to basically
control people without touching them. Because like Cake can quote
unquote push people and the do an things you want
to do, he has to touch them. He can just
look at them and basically get you in mind and
may do everything whatever they want. We saw that in
this episode when Jordan was forced to fight Marie and

(44:00):
they weren't going to fight. They came out and had
a nice little kiss because they're smoochy smoochie because they
are together in the series currently, and then Cipher kind
of just pushed them into push Jordan to fighting her.
If you're not familiar with Jordan, Jordan is a genderless character.
I want to say, I don't know what the propate
term is, but Jordan can switch genders and each gender
has different powers. When Jordan is to female Jordan, they

(44:23):
can like push out raise or like repulsor rays to
push people away. And when Jordan is the male Jordan,
they're basically indestructible almost, And I think they have super
friends as well. So they had to fight that and
then Maurice, and then in the process of all this,
Ciphers also teaching Marie how to use her power without
using her hand thing. She basically just feel the blood

(44:43):
in somebody and make them do whatever they want to
blood bend, so to speak, if you're familiar with Avatar.
So yeah, that was the big tell all this episode
was that Cipher can be to control people and now
they got to figure out what to do with that.
And they also found out that Odessa, which is one
of the big things that was least in the first
two episodes. So Deessa is actually Marie. Marie is Odesso.
That is Marie. She is the project of Thomas Condulton

(45:06):
to make the perfect super and she is the perfect super.
That's what they want it and I'm guessing they I
still think this whole series is about the Vought realizing
what kind of Hordy at least want to Rod with
Homelander and trying to figure how to kill him because
they don't know how to do any other will anywhere else.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing Marie in The

(45:26):
Boys season four, like four four or five much one
it is, and that's gonna be basically the plot of
how to get Marie close up to Pahomelander to kill him.
That's that's why things gonna happen, or take us powers away.
That's best why I think Peple think it's gonna take
us powers away. Because we also realize that in the
episode that while Marie is sensing the blood within people,

(45:47):
she can also sense what's in their blood. So she
thought that Cipher had no V in his blood. Apparently
he has it somewhere where he has it somehow I
don't know, but she got says what's in the blood
as well, So that's interesting as well. She can find
the V in Homeland his blood and maybe just futch
it out of his pores. That'd be great. But going
forward to this series, they're still trying to figure out

(46:09):
what is the goal of this guy Cipher with Marie.
Why does he want her to be the best, and
why is he training her? Why is he basically letting
her do everything she can to undermine his authority and
not killing her. So this this is a very interesting
series so far, because again it's like kids trying to
play you know, detective or whatever, and Cipher's being once

(46:33):
up ahead of them every time. So if you haven't
watched gen V yet, the first four episodes are out,
they are really good. I would definitely recommend, honestly, this
weekend taking a double feature of four episodes of gen
V and four episodes of Marvel Zombies. I think you
have a very good weekend. And that is your if
you have us a miss these days, if you have

(46:53):
a Saturday where you just can lay around all the
pizza and watch TV, watch those two things, I think
you'll be very very pleasantly and entertained. I want to
say the other one thing I wanted to get into,
and I want to tell Mike has seen this on
his on his uh TikTok feeds. Uh, what's it? What's
the name of the game? Shoot? Because I've been seeing

(47:16):
it a lot in my TikTok feed. I said it
the hoodie. He's not as excited about it as I am.
Is a shoot, what is it? I've seen it like
seventeen times. Hold on, let me just look at my
phone real quickly and be a old man and pull
up my phone messages with her there, mister Herdier, so

(47:37):
I can see what the game is called. Basically though,
it is like a uh an anime Grand Theft auto.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
Let's see here. Anada, that's what it's called. The game
is called a nada. Uh. This is game has kind
of taken over my my TikTok feed recently and it
it is a game where you can wed sling, you
can fly, you can drive cars, steal cars, and there
are three ages in the game, and you're pretty much
trying to keep control over the city. Look it up.

(48:11):
It's it's very it's very interesting. Again, it's called I
think it said Anada A n A n A n
t A Anada looks interesting. I'm kind of interested to
see what's going to becoming. I think it's like com
until next year, apparently it'll be free to play. It
looks like a lot of fun. I'm curious. I think
that I'll say that I'm curious, but that's gonna do

(48:33):
it for our episode today. Thank you for rocking with
your boy. We had a lot to cover today. I
think we covered it all. I might have missed one
or two things, but I can't remember what they were.
So if they if I can remember what they were,
they must not be that important, right I think I
think they weren't that important. I can remember him. But again,
oh that was the other thing. They have a release
date for Spider Man beyond the Spider Verse. It is

(48:58):
where is it? June eighteenth, twenty twenty seven, So next,
not even next, two years from now we can see
what happened to uh, what happened to Miles? Wait two
more years and we'll be there. But thank again, thanks
for rocking with your boy today. We had a lot
to cover begin got through it all, I think, thanks
to Nintendo, Mike any drug on, all the guys in

(49:19):
the chat. Thank you for listening on the podcast, watch
on YouTube, Thank you for listening. And man, you've just
watched this jam packed episode of Crisis on Infinite Podcasts. Man,
I'm tired.
