First of all, Noah, howare you man? Thanks for calling us.
I'm doing good. How are youguys doing good? Then? Second
of all, you may have heardthat clip we played right before you came
on, this big uproar about KaitlynClark being left off the USA women's Olympic
team. What's your take on that, man? You know, I mean,

if it was me, you know, I would have put her on
her put her on there, youknow, as a fellow Hawkeye. So
I always support her, and Ithink she's a phenomenal player. But you
know, to the powers that bethought you know what they did, So
I personally don't agree with it,but you know, sometimes I think she's
taking the perfect approach to it,using it as fuel, and I think

that she's gonna come back and beeven better and solidify herself even more as
the person to be on the theyou know, USA women's basketball team.
So I'm excited for her. Ithink she she's handled it just the right
way well. As a former hawkye, what do you think of the Washington
Huskies joint in your conference? Andthey're head they're heading over there to play
you guys, we're going there areYeah? You gonna have a bet with

Jack Westover, aren't Yeah? OctoberYeah you got. You gotta love that
Big Ten football though. I thinkit's gonna be good though. I think
it's great for the conference. AndI'm just looking forward to when Iowa comes
out here to play to play you, dub I might have to be at
that game for sure. Is therea bar or restaurant? Because we're flying
to Cedar Rapids on that Friday andthen we got the game Saturday. Is

there a bar restaurant we have togo to while we're there? I mean,
everybody loves airliner pizza Airliners. Ifif not there, you could go
to Shorts or Stella's that's more overby the uh by the stadium. Both
of those are great, great restaurantsalso, so uh there's a couple of
them for you. I love it. We will check those out for sure.

a take on this offense under RyanGrubb and how you think this could potentially
make you a better player? Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm
super I mean, obviously it's beena learning curve, right, Like,
you know, the offense is definitelycomplex and you have to you know your
stuff and memorize these things that area correct way, but there's so much

room for opportunity of like you know, scratching any itch that we need in
the game. So you know,being able to do a plus thor of
different things has been something that's beenreally cool. Is like, of course
there's a learning curve of like gettingthe plays down and stuff like that,
but as we're getting there, aswe've already you know, progressed through OTAs,
you can really see it coming together. So I'm really excited to just

be able to you know, beable to move around in the offense and
be abble to do a lot ofdifferent things. So it's gonna be good.
Well, you're kind of the lonewolf left in that tight end room.
I mean, Disley's gone, Parkinson'sgone. As far as the guys
that played a lot of snaps,you got Farrell Brown and AJ Barner.
We mentioned our guy Westy. Talkabout just kind of the make up,

the different makeup and the different skillsets of this tight end room versus last
year's tight end room. Yeah,I mean I'm really excited about the tightening
room. Honestly, I think thatyou know, you already mentioned some you
know, you got aj that gotdrafted in the fourth this year, Pharaoh.
You know, Todler Mabray has beendoing a really nice job in OTAs
two. I've been really impressed withhim, Brady Russell, Jack Westoverer,

Like, we have a really likeyoung group of guys. Obviously, Pharaoh
has been in the league for alittle bit, and you know that,
you know that veteran presence and hasknown a lot and all those things had
seen a lot. So it's areally well rounded room. And I really
enjoyed it, and you know,enjoyed you know, kind of getting to
know everybody in that room and bea part of that. So I'm excited.

Yeah. Well, no offense withus, And man, I gotta
tell you a different vibe right fromPete to to to Big Mac to Mike
McDonald. You know Locke it waswith us yesterday and said if McDonald was
a high school teacher, he'd beteaching ap calculus. That that that's how
smart this guy is. So giveus a take on just the vibe.
Man, and how things have changed. Yeah, I mean I definitely have
to agree with that. I thinkthat's that's spot on. I think that

he's super smart, you know,just like on some levels, like geniusly
smart, and uh, it's justit's kind of cool to just see his
you know, uh, his humorcome out and his personality and all that
stuff as we get to get togoing and knowing the coaching staff and knowing
him as our head coach. Anduh, So, I mean it's been
great so far. I'm I'm excitedand excited to see us keep growing as

a team under his under his leadership. So I think it's been really good.
So your rookie contract ended last yearand you decided you want to come
back? Why decide what you wantedto come back to Seattle? You know,
I mean after you know, goingthrough free agency and getting to talk
to the new coaches and things likethat. I just really believed in him,
Honestly. I really believed in whatyou know, John was trying to

build here. I really believed inwhat Mike was, you know, trying
to build as a head coach.And then uh and then Grub I mean
I got to talk to them andIt was really cool just to be able
to hear what they what their visionswere for the team and for me,
and you know, I just reallybelieved in that and was able to you
know, figure out a deal toto be able to come back. So
I was definitely very excited about that, and you know, it worked out
