Speaker 1 (00:01):
Did you guys catch that?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Yesterday it was announced that Tom Brady's first official NFL
broadcast as a Fox analyst will be between the Cowboys
and the Browns in Week one. I'm always excited for
football season anyway, but I cannot wait for Tom Brady
to be an analyst.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I'm that's big.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
That probably makes him one of the biggest ones. Hasn't
Grunk been an analyst already or just a comment side commentator?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
He's done, no idea anyway, he has.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Been used as a commentator. When they were roasting him,
they were talking about, Oh, I don't.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Remember that part, but yeah, Honestly, to be honest with
you guys, one of my favorites is Aaron Andrews. And
he's gonna be working with Aaron some because she has
a deal with Fox, and he's got this big He's
got the biggest deal with Fox it's ever been given. Right,
his deal is worth is it three hundred and seventy
five million over for many years.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
To give observations? Yeah, that's pretty good deal.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
And he's always said the reason that he wanted to
do this is his desire to remain close to the
NFL and I think you and I remember this, Sam.
Just because you know the game and you can play
the game and you can watch film all night and.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Talk it and strategize does not mean you can do that.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
You got to have the personality for it too. Otherwise
it's just going to be X's and O's.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I don't want to say this, but it's true. That
was really hard to watch Drew Brees. Yeah, Drew Brees
can play the game and would lead the game and
was fantastic obviously, and he struggled in the analyst world, didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
He Yeah, he did. That's why he's not doing it anymore.
That's what you know. Some of the times when they
when they talk to Tom Brady, he's a little too
straight and serious. Yeah, it's like, I hope that. I
don't want that. For him to come across, he needs
to be the color he does.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
We'll have to see how that works, because he is
such a series. When you're talking about a guy that
loves the game.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
I need him to be smiling.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Watching you know, the reels and all that.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Look.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Honestly, I'm gonna be honest with you guys. I also
want to see what he's gonna wear. I mean, every
time we've ever seen him on Sunday he's in uniform.
I'm ready to see him wear it. And to me,
you're Tom Brady. You can afford a coach. Now, you
can be paying for coaching on how to be an
analyst and a personality now.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
So already doing that with him probably, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
He's probably doing and he can certainly afford it. Anyway,
it'll be the first. It'll be week one Cleveland Brown's,
Dallas Cowboys. He's already sort of sent a jab to
Doc Prescott. Let's see if he can finally come through,
because remember Brady always beat Doc almost always.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Coming up with Murphy Salmon.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
Jody.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Jody has three things to know today coming up at
six point fifty.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Coming up next from our Instagram and Facebook pages. What
you're doing with the kids this summer summer is almost here,
and for parents, we know it, We've been there. It's
that delicate balance of giving your kids things to do
so that their mind is engaged and they're busy, but
not so busy that they don't have a break. You
(03:15):
know that you want to give them a summer break
because they've worked hard and it's that delicate balance of Also,
if you're working, is the biggest thing to So we've
asked on our Instagram and Facebook pages, tell us about
your summer plans. How do you make all of that work,
Jessica says, my kids will. We'll go to the Boys
and Girls club every other week. We also just bought
a house with a pool since we since we just
(03:38):
bought the house, it's part of our plan to save money,
stay home and swim a lot. Yeah, you know, hope,
I hope that's the thing. I hope you swim a
lot this summer, because they say once that novelty wears off,
you'll be like, get out.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
There and swim. We bought this pool for you, supposedly,
I don't know. We never had a pool.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
We're not wasting good electricity on these pumps.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
When our neighbors next door got a pool when I
was a kid, oh, I was so jealous. And of
course they didn't invite us over often us.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
It's okay, my neighbors the ones that we always swam at.
Everybody in the neighborhood swam atool. That's it's kind of
done that. It's kind of faded off and now it's
they use it occasionally.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Sheila says.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
My school, the school my kiddos attend, have on site
boys and Girls club summer programs. They go on field trips, hikes, swimming, movies,
and other fun things. We also have a family trip
planned planned bring on summer and Deanna says, my daughter
over schedules herself three band camps, j r OTC leadership course,
(04:44):
and a field trip to Italy with a high school group.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Well, if you're going to overschedule going to Italy's not
a bad thing to cram in.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Dianna goes on to say, I always thought it would
slow down when they were teenagers.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Wrong.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
She is my youngest will be a senior next year.
I'm certain I will miss all of this. But man,
that's a kid who's doing a lot and wants to
be doing unless the thing too.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Do you step in and say, hey, let's slow it down,
because if she's that into it.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
I think if your kid wants to move, if your
kid wants to do a lot, I think it's okay.
And that's a parent to parent thing, that's a per
household decision.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Coming up with Murphy Salmon, Jody.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Jody has your Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
George Clooney is bringing back one of his favorite movies.
And it's not the one though, where he's robbing a casino.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Brought to you by Dairy Queen.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
George Clooney is bringing back one of his favorite movies
that he loved making and being a part of. And
it's not Ocean's Eleven because we've had that one hundred times,
although I still love that one.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
It's good Night and good luck.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Okay, futs here we go. You might as well go
down sway. We're gonna go with the story because it
terrors right here in this room.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
The original film number came out in two thousand and five.
What's so funny, Murphy is this? This movie is so
up your alley journalism. It's made it's black and white mood.
It's a It is about Murrow trying to take down
McCarthy and so and anyway. Clooney is bringing this film
his He co wrote it and produced it and was
(06:12):
a part of it. He played Fred Friendly in the movie.
And he's bringing it to Broadway and he's going to star.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
In it on Broadway. That's huge. That's huge. He's going
to play Edward R. Murrow this time.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Has he done Broadway before?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
I don't think so. I do not think so. To me,
that's a big deal. Buy that ticket now.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yeah, he's playing the lead, playing Murrow.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
This time, Edward R.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Murrow.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
So he wrote the movie and the same writer he's
teaming up again for the same to pin this for
the for the on stage and then he directed the film.
But he's having a Tony Award winner directed, so he
knows what he's doing.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Good Night and good.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Luck coming up with Murphy Samon jokey.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Brought to you by KFC.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
The fucks a Caprice Son are going going large as
in you know Caprice Son's little pouches full of juice.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, but I never could open well because every time
I punkch it, I break the straw.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
I used to hit that like it.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
If you listen to a sport, I would have had
a gold medal and I hate right right on target to.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Never could get them anyway. Well, now you won't need
to get them because they're putting out their fruit Punch
flavor in a large ninety six ounce jug that game,
ok yeah, and they're selling it right now. They're only
going to sell it at Sam's Costco and all the
wholesale places you.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Buy two that are connected.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Yeah, and they're saying this is mainly for the parents
who missed that flavor.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Ah sweet, okay, smart, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I mean the parents have drunk. You drink the leftovers
of it.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, probably mixes well with them anyway, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
It does.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I was usually a two poucher. One was never enough.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Speaking of mixing it, well, just a little heavy capri
son Margharita mixed. Pringles has a new item coming out
called Pringles Mingles. They debuted this one at the Sweet
and Snacks Expo, which we need to go to one year. Yeah.
They're puffed potato snacks.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Right right, put the air in the middle and we're there.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Yeah. And they're shaped like little bow ties like mister
Pringle wears. So they're little tiny ones. They have three flavors.
And by the way, these are gonna come out in
October del Pickling Ranch. So cheddar and sour cream and
sharp white cheddar and ranch.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
It's probably a really good money maker because you know,
you fill it with there, there's not as much in
the bag.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
You make them small and yeah, right, it's like goldfish.
You know. Here's some more. We got more chip news too.
Cheetos is coming out with a flaming hot Cajun cheddar.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Okay, yeah, the only problem is the flaming hot.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Maybe you guys can handle this. I'll test it first
for you, and I know how delicate you both are.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Pringle new regular Pringles coming up, Minecraft Pringles. It's spicy.
Oh cute, your kids are into that?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Wait, wait, can I go back to the Pringles thing.
We're still gonna have regular Pringles chips in cans.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Okay, yeah, a.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
New way to get you to eat Pringles, Pringles, mingles
and clarified that popcorns, the smart food popcorn. They now
have a new cheddar barbecue flavor.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Now that sounds good.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
And finally here, tik Tak's got a new product, Chewy
tik TACs. They're all They're called Tictac Chewy. Still gonna
have the hard shell on the outside, but inside it's
heaven nice.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Thank you, food dude. Coming up next. Three Things to
Know Today.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Three Things to Know Today.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Brought to you by Doctor Martin Nature's Blend.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Number one.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
We knew this was coming, but it's the end of
Google Search as we know it, and it was released
and discussed yesterday. Google will start offering AI generated answers
for your search results. You can even upload a video
instead of typing into Google what your washing machine sounds like,
for instance, you can play the sound for it and
(10:02):
it'll speak it out to you. It's answer. So that's
going to change, well everything about search.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I know what I'm doing this weekend.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Number two.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
McDonald's is getting rid of free refill refills on the drinks.
They said they were going to do this and phase
it out over several years, but many of the franchises
have already just started ripping out the self served drink stations.
And when they do it, maybe you didn't know this
in fast food world, but when McDonald's does it, others
follow so I'm ah, sorry, oh wow, No, we're mixing
(10:35):
up anyway. And number three, if Jeopardy you find it
a little tough, maybe just the older trivia, the history
trivia they're doing a spin off for more pop culture stuff. Okay,
a spin off that will run an air on Amazon
Prime Videos. A whole different show, A different show, but
Jeopardy like, with reality TV, movies and music being the
(10:58):
main themes.
Speaker 6 (10:59):
There you're in the note three things to Know Today.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
I checked in with my mom to find out how
she's doing with the Tom Selick book that I got
her from Mother's Day. Oh yeah, I was.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
She excited about that.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
What actually was right? You got it right at this time?
I think this, Tam, You've always said I and you
finally got it right. You're the one who says you've
never known what to do.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
I know, I always get like sentimental stuff and it's
just like that, ain't me, and it's not her either, No,
it's not. And so I gave her the Tom selic book.
It just came out last week, the week of Mother's Day,
and it's his memoir. What is it you?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
You never know?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
You never know?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Yeah, that's what it's called. I want to read the
friends chapter.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Oh you get a chapter in his time on friends?
Speaker 1 (11:43):
I mean he better have that's my assumption.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
But hello, she had commented on there, I've read half
the book already.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Like, you know why. That means you did get it right.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
You get a book as a gift and you read
half of it in a day or two.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
I text her and I was like, what have you
learned so far? And here's what it is. His high
school college service looking around for a job, had quite
a few offers, but nothing major. And now he just
landed Magnum, but wasn't sure if he was going to
take it. Oh, finally he did so now I'm waiting
to see what happened. Now he's taking the my mom,
(12:24):
I didn't read the book, and I can tell you
what happens.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Pretty successful show.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I love that you gave her that and it was
a hit. Meanwhile, you know what I gave my mother.
I'm hoping it's a hit. I hope she's taking it
out of the box. I gave her that, you remember, Murphy.
I gave her a blender, a personal blender because she
has to take medicine now.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
And my mom's never been a big eater.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
She's not about food, but she's supposed to eat when
she takes the medicine. So I double checked and she
does not have a blender.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
It's like, Mom, you can like one of those ninjas
or neutrabulls.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Like, yeah, it's a little personal blend, you know what
I mean, because you say the word blender and realize
she's only going to get so excited. It's a blender,
but there's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I gave her bananas and strawberries with it, and recipes
and it's like, you can make us smoothie in the
morning and you know, healthy or whatever, and then take
it with your medicine.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
And she was like, I could also put ice cream, yeah, which.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Is probably in it right now.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Murphy, you know, she's only going to get so excited, correct,
I know. So anyway, as soon as she finishes the book,
I'll have to let you know how it turns out.
For Tom Sale, hear about the friend's part too.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Coming up with Murphy Salmon Joki Jody has three things
to Know today coming up at seven fifty.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Coming up next though, what took three hours and three
nail texts at the nail salon? You guys saw the
real I posted yesterday of the girl sitting next to
me at the nail salon.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Every nail that she has is a different.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yeahs of art.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Yeah, Yeah, that's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Three different nail texts worked on her, and that art
on her nails while if you haven't seen, it's Murphy
Sam and Jody's well Facebook page and Instagram, three nail texs,
three different nail texts, and wait, there's more Murphy.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
She was there for about three hours.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Huh well, oh wow, all of those not all of
those nail texts can do every single Every single nail
of hers was the exact same length and shape, but
she wanted a different little piece of art on each nail,
and that's what it is. I sat down next to
her from my regular manicure and color change literally, which
is Hi, I'm here for funny money, okay, And she
(14:32):
was already there. She was the cutest thing ever, sixteen
years old. She had already been there for almost an hour,
and everybody in the salon there was so much buzz
about her. Everybody who worked there kept coming over to
see the progress on her nails. So I finally just
said can, I took a picture and I started asking
her about it. It was her wish for her sixteenth birthday.
(14:52):
Her birthday was two days away, and her dad was
there paying for it all. Betty was, yeah, I didn't
ask how much, but I'm I'm going to tell you
the amount of every different nail tech, like like the
one that she has that looked like a turtle.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
She had one of her nails looked like a turtle's shell.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Well, one of the nail texts couldn't do that, so
someone came in to try it.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
You know. I so it wasn't three texts at the
same time. No, okay, that's what I was. Wow, that's major.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
So I said, how do you decide that this is
what you want? And how do they know?
Speaker 2 (15:26):
She says, I brought an inspo pic, so an inspiration
picture from Pinterest or Etsy or somewhere that she had
given the salons, and like, this is what I want.
Each nail is its own intricate design, and she had,
you know, and I know, well, you guys don't realize
that's two or three weeks on her hands and then
she'll have to go get a foot about two or
(15:47):
three weeks justin on our Facebook page. That's just one
of the many things that we men will never understand
about ladies and their nails.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
It's nice artwork, for sure.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yeah, definitely see it on our Facebook page and instat
justin to.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Answer that question, it's about how she feels. Any woman
who gets her nails done, it's she feels put together.
It's about how she feels.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Coming up next, Jody has your Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 6 (16:13):

then see what led her to her Harvard.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Days and all of that.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
I mean, it's like it's and so the I guess
the search is on ye to cast a young l.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Well doing her daughter looked just like her.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Her daughter does look just like her, but looking like
someone does not make I know right.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
You have to be able to do the work, and
you have to be able to do.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
It well, get your foot in the door.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
But it is an origin story.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Other stuff that happened that was announced from Amazon yesterday,
we have the return of like series that got renewed,
The Boys, Coach, Prime, Mister and Missus.
Speaker 1 (17:30):

Speaker 2 (17:33):
We're also told there's a movie coming called You're Cordially
Invited about Dueling Weddings starring Reese Witherspoon and Will.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
Ferrell coming up with Murphy Samon Jody.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Special message just for you graduating class of twenty twenty four,
It's keep the Wow Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
You know what keep the Wow is.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
It's your motto.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
It's a motto.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
It's just choosing to be proud of yourself, keeping your
wows and let that become yourself talked and not the opposite,
because often it's the you know things you struggle with
that talk to you energy focus on your failures and
that's not gonna help you.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
It's it's good fuel on a bad day.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Yeah, keep the Wow.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
So I wanted today, Today's keep the while to be
for high school and college graduates, Okay, I mean it's
not just another thing to get past, you know, put
it behind you.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
So glad and yes, that is the feeling.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
You're so glad this is this time is behind you,
and you are so excited to be done that it
feels like that. Yeah, but that degree, that diploma is
hard earned. You need to remember.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
I had that.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
I had that conversation with our Taylor, our oldest who's
about to graduate. It's like, you need to give yourself
the respect that you got.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
You did this not just a chore.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
It's it's an accomplishment, not just a piece of paper
that's going to be hung on the wall. M It's
you know, you earned it. So remember keep that with you.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
It's not just that's done.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
What's next.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I remember having that feeling when I graduated high school.
I was so the lead up to it was like
so counting down the last days of senior year, which
a lot of seniors are doing right now. I know it,
we understand, we understand, But when you're sitting there waiting
for your name to be called, and your name is called,
and you go up there and you get that is
it is a pivotal point in your life because you
(19:31):
are about to your life is about to change, probably
the biggest change you'll go through. For the first big
change you'll go through, you'll go through many more in adulthoods.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
I think college was the bigger change coming out of
college or the bigger fear or whatever for me, because
it's like I knew growing out of high school, I'm
going to college. So it's like I'm putting it off.
I'm going to college, putting off life. Oh I graduated college.
It's like, okay, what now for life.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
All I'm saying is in this time in your life,
whether you're graduating high school, graduating college, instead of only
looking forward, keep this with you that you earned it.
What you have in your hands when they call your name,
you've earned it, and it's something that no one can
ever take away from you. They can't a degree of diploma.
The fact that you did this cannot be taken from you.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Coming up, Jody has three things to know today.

Here's three things to know today.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Brought to you by doctor Martin Nature's blend.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Number one, This is big tech news.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Google and Apple have teamed up to alert you to
warn you if you are being tracked by a third party.
It's a cross platform alert system to fight against soccers
or anyone using Apple's Bluetooth location tracker, you know, to
know where people are or to know when they're not home.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Yeah, okay, the update is coming soon.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
It'll alert you if if with a message that you
a tracker is moving with you on Apple iOS, their
new system and Android six point zero or higher. Two
Dozens of red lobsters across the country are closing.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
The company said.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Look, it's the all you can eat shrimp deal to
millions of dollars in losses for the company. And when
you when it's closing, they're selling everything. That means you
could get a gigantic lobster tank, the industrial kitchen stuff
they are selling and get.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Rid of getting rid of all of it.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
And number three, a miniature poodle wins the Westminster Kennel
Club Dog Show. Listen to that, Yeah, Sage, the beautiful
black miniature poodle with the palm palm feet. The number
two dog second place was a German shepherd named Mercedes.
It's one of those things where I don't make an
(21:43):
appointment to watch it, but if it's on, I can't
look away.
Speaker 6 (21:46):
You're in the No. Three Things to Know Today, Sam's
got music.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
News, brought to you by boot Barn.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
We have some changes coming for next season of The Voice.
They are changing up the judge once again, and we
got some good ones coming this time. Okay, I'm really
looking forward to this one. Michael Bublay is being at it.
And by the way, if you're wondering, well, where's he
gonna sit, because we got judges Dan and Shay are leaving,
(22:15):
Chancellor Rappers leaving and John Legends leaving. Yeah, Soba is
gonna stay, okay, and they're bringing back when Stefani, Yes,
she's coming back. So now you have Michael Boublay. Who's
gonna fill that fourth seat, well, none other than Snoop Dogs.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Man.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
I will not be missing that. He's even gonna turn
his chair slowly. He's gonna care. Nobody's gonna care.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
He will give great advice too, you know that.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
And honestly, for this show, not just for the singers
in the competition, but just for the show. Remember that
it is a TV show. He will be screaming, entertaining. Yeah,
it's just so funny.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Be fun too. If this team wins, this will be
for the fall season, which season, next season, the current season,
and it's gonna wrap up next Tuesday. That'll be the
final for that one. Excellent, all right. Speaking of new seasons,
Bridgerton is starting tomorrow. They're starting the new season where
they're doing one of those split kind of things. They're
doing four episodes starting tomorrow and then four more episodes
(23:14):
in June.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Can you believe this is something I've never gotten into.
I've got girlfriends going Jody, why are you not watching this?
Speaker 4 (23:21):
All over Socials right now? Everybody's going gaga. Well, here's
something interesting I found out about it. They have string
quartet versions of popular songs that they mix in with
the soundtrack on different episodes. Like They've got a Nick
Jonas is Jealous. There's a version of that that comes
along a Billie Eilers song. Even Taylor Swift and Lana
del Ray's Snow on the Beach. There's gonna be a
(23:41):
quartet playing that one. And I even found the one
that the sea song that's gonna be done by the
Vitamin string quartet.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
You know why, this is Shonda Rhimes show, So of
course she has that pop edge, even if it's a
period piece.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Which is really smart.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
It's cheap thrills didn't.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Sound that's beautiful.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Oh and by the way, if you're waiting for the
ACM Awards on Thursday, hosted by Reba McIntyre on Prime
Amazon Prime, they actually added an AM's ACM Country Kickoff Festival.
All the entertainers that are nominated for New Artists are
the ones that are playing at that festival, including Megan Maroney.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
George.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
You know, and then there's meet and greets and autographs
and all that kind of stuff. Too smart, Smart, get
everybody in town together.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
Coming up with Murphy, Sam and Jody.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Jody has another Hollywood outsider.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Coming up next.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Keep the Wow Wednesday rolls on and George helps us
relocate a turtle. It's Keep the Wow Wednesday. Keep it
coming eight seven seven three one zero for MSJ. You know,
we love to hear from.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
You social media connect And if.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
You're wondering what keep the Wow is, Kim also wonders
that she sent in what is keep the Wow stand for?
Sorry if I'm not up to date.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Oh, Kim, I'm glad you asked. It's a personal motto
of mine that I made up in my head. And
then Murphy kept saying, what is this that you're talking about?
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Bring me in? And so it's just keep.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Your wows alive in your head when you wow yourself
and let it become yourself talk, okay.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
Because anytime something bad comes your way, it's easy to
get caught in that trap.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
It's easy to get let that be yourself talk when
you need to keep your wows and let that be
what talks to you.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
So we've asked for yours.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Rosa said, my wow is my six year old hugged
me and told me I was a good mom and
thanked me for always taking care of her. Those are
the best when they're little like that and they just
come and love you.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yes, it's the best.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Hopefully that always will be the case you have that open,
loving relationship with your child, they always will. Jamie, I'm
proud of the fact that I finally completed something in
my life by getting my CDL almost a year ago.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
What's the CDL.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
That's for truck driving?
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Okay, okay, commercial driver's license okaye.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
See, I didn't know that, But congrats, Jamie. I love it.
I wish I had done it much earlier in my life. Cool.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
You know what, I'm always amazed by that. I watched
a guy the other day back into the tightest space
in an eighteen wheel or to deliver supplies, and I
couldn't believe it how he got in around all the
cars and it was precise. It was mind blowing, really
that I know what would happen if that were me.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Yeah, I back a hun day up with a camera
on the back, and it scares me.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
It's true.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Okay, moving on, Thank you for those comments. George sent
us this and this is to our email at Murphy
Samon Jody dot com about helping a turtle cross the road.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Oh yeah, and you had said, don't point it in
the other direction, never to be lost for the rest
of its life.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
It's true.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Don't move a turtle in a different direction, only the
direction it's going in, only the slightest amount. Listening to
your podcast about helping tortoises cross the road, I've done
that many times. But the main problem is I have
with them is in our backyard a few years ago,
I found a lump of what was left of a
tortoise on our back porch. Our German shepherd we believe
was the guilty party here. So if I see one
(27:09):
in our yard, I have to relocate kate them for
their own safety.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Oh George, Yes.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Well, I'm sure if the turtle had a choice, they'd
rather be lost. Coming up next, Jody has your Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
The latest Buzz.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Brought to you by Dairy Queen.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
House of the Dragon fans, we have a treat for you.
Yesterday HBO released I didn't I didn't realize that the
other trailers for the new season were like teasers. Yesterday
there was a there's a full trailer released and oh
my goodness.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Isn't Anita strong enough to unite?
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Do you accept me as your queen?
Speaker 2 (27:52):
And Ruda Sam, I'm here to tell you that it
looks like they had success with the first season, so
they got a lot more money.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
It looks so better, much better. Like you're there again,
so more dragons.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
The Targarians and the high Towers have to face off
in an all out war again.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
It looks crazy good.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Season two House of the Dragon on HBO June sixteenth.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Okay, if you want a little treat.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
If you're a mad fan, rush up on that one again.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
You could brush up on it, or go watch the
trailer today. It's a long, good, juicy trailer. We also
have a full trailer for Francis Ford Coppola's next big movie,
which he's been working on, by the way, for decades.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
It's called Megalopolis.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
When does an Empire die?
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Does it collapse?
Speaker 3 (28:39):
In one?
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Do you recognize that voiceunds like the movie voice from
the sevenies.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
It's Laurence Fishburne.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Oh, Dustin Hoffman in this movie too, Adam Driver and
Francis Corcopola has been working on this for a very
long time. It's the reconstruction of New York City following
a disaster and you know, wiping out of the whole infrastructure.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
It's up on this one from Chuck E.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Cheese.
Speaker 4 (29:03):
Okay, the animatronics are going to be gone by the
end of this year. You know what CEO says. We're
getting rid of all the animatronics by the end of
this year.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
I think a lot of little children are going to
be fine with that.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Oh, I was terrified when I was a kid. But
it's probably at night Mire too. You know.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
I mean, wait, you know why you were terrified. It's unnatural.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
You go to Disney World and the country bears are
not real.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Yeah, and they're creepy, and neither are the presidents.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
There's there's, however, many of them over there talking.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
We started on the creepy.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
I guess the world is more advanced now you don't
need animatronics. But again, mechanical failure. You know you have
a mouse that doesn't move, or you know, four.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Of them on stage and only one of them moved.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
Don't worry.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
And it's saying things we didn't program.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Right, Why what is their statement of why they're getting
rid of.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Because they're going to move into present times. They're looking
at adding dance floors, big screens, and trampoline gems. What
do you mean a trampoline place fun?
Speaker 3 (30:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Yeah, okay, and I guess they'll still have all the
you know, the games. So you can still win tickets for.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
A little prizes.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
Yeah, it's fifty tickets, you get an eraser. Okay, congratulations,
I remember that.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Well, I actually found some of those tokens the other day.
Jodie from I leftover pizza party.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Well, hope you got rid of them.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Well, I was actually gonna redeem them, but stuck them
in the coke machine got a few drinks. Also, I
saw that a TGI Fridays is closing about three dozen
stores across the country. They only have about two hundred
locations left in America.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Yeah, that doesn't surprise me, thank anymore.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
H Man, It's.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Okay going back to the I can't go back to
the animatronics.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
What I was gonna say is it's a it's a
there's a sweet spot in childhood where kids are like,
oh awesome, but then there's something that kicks in where
they I guess in childhood you realized, oh, you should
be afraid of some things which we want children to
do that they.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Don't trust it.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
So there's a spot in childhood where you're scared of
that sort of stuff.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
And I think it's.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
People in costumes. Phoebe was afraid when we went to Disney.
Who was she afraid of? Oh, Phoebe was afraid of
snow one. I know you weren't, no, I
Speaker 1 (31:18):
He was gorgeous.
