Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's Grateful Friday, so drop it on us eight seven
seven three one zero four msj all the things you're
grateful for right now. Maybe your kids got back to
school successfully this week, or it's been a little bumpy.
Either way, we'd like to hear about it as we
get started.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Jody's Friday favorite, I'm.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Gonna take you to the Olympics because of something cool
that happened. So many many cool, funny, inspiring things have
been happening, but I know you guys probably saw this
image or maybe you watched it happen. I watched it
happen when it was the wrapping up of the gymnastics
medaling ceremony where Simone Biles had won silver and Jordan
(00:42):
Childs had won bronze. But from Brazil, Rebecca Androgy one gold,
and you guys know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Saw it.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
So they bowed to her on the podium in support,
in real sportsmanship, in solidarity, and just giving her a suspect.
And you're talking about an athlete, Rebecca from Brazil, who
fought her way literally also to be where she is today.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
Get nine years old, left her family.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Against all odds, went to Yeah, she's She's an incredible story.
If you don't know it, look up that backstory. But
so in press conferences afterward, you know, Simone and Jordan
talked about sort of bowing to Rebecca.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
You know, Rebecca had such good day, such good meat.
So we're like, yeah, we're gonna go ahead and give
Rebecca her flowers because she deserves it. But it was
so exciting to be up there, and we knew the
impact that I would make on all little girls in
the sport, especially of colors.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Especially of color. It's an all black podium. That's the
first time that's ever happened in this sport. So some
more about that because they kept getting asked about it,
and it's so cool. I want to give you a
backstory too, is that it was Jordan's idea. She said
to Simone, she's gonna get gold. We're going to be
there with her. You want to bow to her, Yes,
we have to do it.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
She's she's such an excitement to watch, and then all
the fans in the crowd always cheer for her, so
it just it was just the right thing to do,
and they oh.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
That's the truth right there. It was the right thing
to do.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
It is the right thing to do, and it was
like they did it also synchronized, go back and watch it.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
Another thing that you know, you.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Get asked about the falls too, and the mistakes. And
remember in her last event at these Olympic Games, Simone
fell off of the beam.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
Yeah, and no one expected that. So she addressed that
as well.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
I've accomplished way more than my wildest dreams, not just
at this Olympics, but in the sport competing and then
walking away with four medals. I'm not mad about it.
I'm pretty proud of myself.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Good for her.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
So good balanced thinking right there.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Coming up with Murphy Samon Jody.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Jody has three things to Know Today at six fifty.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Coming up next, Top suggestions from the baby name Consultant.
This week was the first time I ever realized or
thought about the fact that for some couples picking a
baby name or baby names is hard. Because I always
loved it so much and enjoyed it. A few times
we did that.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
The two times well, well no, we did it three times.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
We had a miscarriage and we lost a child which
we had named.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
We had named her Emmy. Anyway, didn't mean to do
that to the.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Room sorry, yes, but yeah, we were just when you
have family names to pick from and your weigh options,
and so some people probably get stuck. I guess if
your family situation is different.
Speaker 6 (03:29):
Or if you disagree.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Yeah, I didn't even think about that.
Speaker 6 (03:35):
Of course, we never disagreed about that. About that.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
That's one that's because we never had any boys.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
You know the whole story that we shared yesterday about
there being you know, baby naming consultants. There are websites
that you can consult. There are consultants, and they want
to get to know you. They ask a million questions,
your family history, what the vibe is of the family,
and so there really is something there.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
And I charge at least two hundred and fifty dollars.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
I don't know some of them do.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Let's one upscale person a company called name Barry, and
the lady who runs it, she's a professional baby namer
and she's busy working.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
It's her job.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
And so here's a little bit of her revealing some names.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
When people say I want.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
A successful name, I want someone who has can stand
up straight and be a success in life, She's like, okay,
that's important to you. For girls currently this year twenty
twenty four. She recommends Clara because it means clear, bright,
or even famous.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Like that Clara could become clear possibly.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Although Clara's cute. Mela am i la meaning favored or miracle.
See some people care about what the name means. Yeah,
so Mela is a good for that for boys, Hugo
meaning intellect and Milo meaning merciful Milo. That sounds like
(05:04):
a that's a cool different that would stand out honor a.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Dog named I mean, yeah, I know there's some sweet tea.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Yeah, Okay, all mart sells it.
Speaker 6 (05:18):
Okay, just know there's baby name help everywhere.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Brought to you by Dairy Queen.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
There's another Yellowstone spinoff coming, but I'm ready to tell
you about this one because I'm excited. You know, I'm
not a spinoff of this. I never even finished yellow.
Speaker 6 (05:38):
I know, sorry about it. We do know that there
is still one in the works.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
There are seven spinoffs, okay, and there's one in the
works with Matthew McConaughey.
Speaker 6 (05:48):
I don't have information on that, but I'm excited about it.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Most of the spinoffs have years.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
The other yes, the other one.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
It's potential when Yellowstone is over that there will be
a Rip and Beth spin offing on how the show ends.
But the one, the working title that everybody thought this
is a modern day situation was twenty twenty four.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
Yeah, that was the working title.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
The actual title is now going to be Madison, about
family that's in the Madison River Valley, current day, you know,
modern day, led by actress Michelle Pfeiffer.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Oh that is huge.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Are they going to be buttons?
Speaker 6 (06:27):
I don't know that. Madison.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
It's just about a New York City family living in
the Madison River Valley and she's the lead, and she's fantastic.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
You know, she's just iconic.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
She's the female Kevin Costner if you will, or he's
the he's the male Michelle Pfeiffer.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I understood.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Coming up with Murphy Sam and Jody.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Sam has music news now.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Ed Sheeran is working on some new music and it's
going to be Holly and Jolly.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Sam's got music news brought to you by Progressive.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Ed Sheeran is working on some new music again.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Let's hear it you?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, no, I don't, because you're gonna have to wait
till November to actually hear this song good?
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Excuse me December, because it is for a Christmas movie
that's going to be popping up on Netflix.
Speaker 6 (07:20):
He has that really good Christmas song with Elton John.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Oh you mean this song here? So kiss me on.
Speaker 6 (07:28):
This one is fantastic.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
The song he's working on is called under the Tree. Okay,
So i'm'll lay this out for you Netflix December sixth.
It's the movie is going to be called That Christmas
and it's a CGI animated movie, so we're gonna have
lots of voices. Santa Claus being played by Brian Cox,
a big deep voice from Succession remember him. Oh yes,
So Ed knows the guy that is putting the whole
movie together because it's the same guy that did the
(07:51):
Yesterday movie. Remember when Ed was in there suggesting Needles
new Beatles lyrics. So he said, hey, you know we're buds.
Can you write me a song for this movie? So
so look for that one November. Excuse me December. The
sixth under the Tree will be the name of that song.
Rod Stewart, this is kind of cool. He's added more
shows to his Vegas residency. He had to cancel his
(08:13):
two hundredth show earlier this week because he had a
strap throat. But in addition to canceling and it was
supposed to be his last show or the residency, he
just said, you know what, he announced another like two
weeks worth of residencies that are going to take place
next year.
Speaker 6 (08:25):
Where does he play.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Coliseum at Caesar's Palace. Oh, Selene's Room, Ah.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Forever to be known as Selene's Room, and you know
they're trying it, like wasn't Adele going to play there?
Speaker 6 (08:35):
Or she did play there, I don't remember where she
was and forever it was built for Selene.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Resorts World is now talking to Selene about coming over
there at the end of this year, so we will
see on that one. Miranda Lambert's going to have a
new album out next month, September the thirteenth. It's called
Postcards from Texas. It's one of the new songs, it's
called Alimony.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
She's one of those country voices that you know it
as soon as she sings one note.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yes, she's doing something unusual to get to her fans
and let them know what's going on. She first announced
the album to her fan club by mailing everybody a postcard. Oh,
it's postcards from Texas.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
No, No, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
And in this past week she texted all the fan
club members here's a link to a snippet of a
song that's going to be on the album that nobody
else can hear yet. It's called No Man's Land. So
I don't have that song yet because I'm not in
the fan club. That's cool.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Maybe you should join.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
No Sam coming up next. Three Things to Know Today.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Three things to Know Today brought to you by Doctor
Marty Nature's Blend.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
Number one.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Since those Vienna concerts were canceled Taylor Swift shows, the
London Mayor has addressed security concerns over the upcoming Wembley
Stadium shows next week. It's five of them, so she says, Look,
we've got a huge amount of experience in policing these events.
Events were never complacent and we learned a lot after
that awful Manchester Arena attack.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Yeah, so those.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
Shows will carry on on in London next week. Number two.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Wrapping up the Olympics in these next couple of days,
So Primetime Olympics Tonight, Track and Field finals, Women's gold
Medal game and beach volleyball.
Speaker 6 (10:12):
You can check that out. And the women's final in breaking.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
That's right, all the women's breaking is today or tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
Yeah, and then tomorrow night.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Also USA and France face off and men's basketball, and
don't forget on Sunday the closing ceremony supposedly including Tom
Cruise and number three.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
This is nuts. I've seen it all week.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Apparently you can buy perfume fragrance for your dog thanks
to Dulce and Cabana. Oh so it won't be cheap,
about one hundred bucks for a bottle of this scent
called fee Fee. It's specifically developed four pets. I don't
know where you put it on their body, but when
you buy it, you get a fancy collar and a
twenty four carrot gold plated paw chor.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Am you sure it's not dog? Chay and Gabana, Oh.
Speaker 7 (10:56):
You're in the note all three thanks to Know Today
Jody's Top five entertainment stories of the week.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Brought to you by t Mobile.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Number five, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck apparently are not
even speaking to each other amid what is called is
called a slow divorce, Like they are headed for divorce.
Everything points in that direction. There is a prenup when
they got married two years ago, and the world was
so happy about it.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
There was a prenup.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
And the only asset that they have to divide is
this mansion in Beverly Hills that they bought together, and
they're trying to sell it. It's on the market, and
so will they be soon?
Speaker 4 (11:34):
I guess right.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Number four, there's a.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
John Wick TV series currently in development docs in the
early days. No network or streaming service is attached yet,
but it will be called john Wick Under the High Table.
A collection of new characters coming to that table. Keanu
Reeves is involved. He is the executive producer. No word
in whether he'll make a cameo. Everybody will want him
(11:58):
to there for sure. Justin Timberlake scheduled for a hearing
again today FUGGOT.
Speaker 6 (12:05):
Based on that dui arrest.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
So the report was released this week from the Sag
Harbor arrest.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
And so here's what we learned that maybe you didn't
know before.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
The officer says he smelled of alcohol, he displayed poor
balance and could not follow instructions, and then he was
weaving into the oncoming lane and completely missed a stop sign.
Justin's attorney says he's innocent. He wasn't drunk, and so
they'll be a hearing again today. Whether Justin appears at that,
we don't know yet. We can always look for it
(12:36):
later because he's also on tour number two. This was
scary this week for an actor that a lot of
us love a lot. Zach Efron had a big scare.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Ever since I was a child, people said my family
was cursed.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
That's from his new movie, newer movie, The Iron Claw.
Zach Efron and his friends were at the pool. He
dove into the water, hit the bottom of the pool
and ingested a bunch of water in to his lungs.
Security had to get him out of the pool. He
went to the hospital. They did a chest X ray
to make sure that you know, he was okay and
there was no.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
Water still in his life.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
And he stayed and made sure he was okay, and
he let his fans know, thank you for the love.
I am okay. Number one and this is the number one,
biggest one. Taylor Swift's Vienna concerts, of course, canceled after
terror plots arrest. There are still people in custody and
it's a lot of investigating still going on. But they
(13:30):
say that it was the US intelligence agency letting the
Vienna government know that this is a terror plot and
this is serious, and having canceled these concerts, they said
a tragedy was prevented.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
It's amazing that it can be intercepted like that.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
And more coming up in your Hollywood outside on and
what the fans in Vienna are doing.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Now Jody's top five entertainment stories of the week.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Anytime you have the opportunity in life to try something new,
whether it's a hobby or a restaurant or a job,
do it even if you assume you won't like it.
And the reason I bring it up is our daughter Taylor,
our oldest Murphy, who is working at the doggy daycare.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
I have an update for you, so rewind back to
a few weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Before she started, she was nervous about the lack of
you know, social and human interaction because she's such a
people person, but she wanted to give this a try.
Speaker 6 (14:25):
She's so happy in this job.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
When she comes home, she's so happy, and she's even
told me she's like God, it's so wonderful being around dogs,
even when I have to break up fights or clean
up you know what stuff, and you know, and.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
She really is enjoying it. And I think in Tiffany had.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Called us a week ago and said, look, I'm a psychotherapist.
She's going to learn a lot about dog and human
interaction that will go along with her psychology degree.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
And it's true.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
She got to work in the toy box the other
day again, which is the toy dog room. She sends
me pictures every day from this job. You like senior dogs,
that she's working well with, the ones who follow her
around all day, and it's just lovely for her to
have been surprised that this is so great for her.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Sam. The senior dogs are the ones that play bingo
every day. Did you know that.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
They got tennis balls on their feet.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Anyway, so it literally says they're a therapeutic She feels
good when she leaves work, even after a long shift.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
You know what, I'm really proud of there. And this
is really good for anybody who is in transition from
high school to college or maybe taking a gap. Yere
kind of like our oldest daughter Taylor's doing, where you're
looking for the perfect job, but the perfect job doesn't exist,
and well, you've got the opportunity and an offer for something,
try it. Yeah, why not go for you? That's that's
the time in life to try that. You're right, Joe.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I remember when she almost didn't take it. I was like,
you're not going to take the doggy daycare job. She's like, yeah,
this is like kind of like pet sitting to do
something else. She almost talked herself out of it, and
this is I think going to be her favorite job.
And she has dog game now with our dogs better
than you, maybe, Murphy, I know you don't want to
hear that, but she's running them.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Isn't there such a thing as a pet psychologist?
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Maybe? I mean, if somebody can get paid for being
a consultant for baby names, which is like you talked
about earlier, Jdias, Possibly, Yes, you're right.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
The latest Buzz Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Brought to you by Dairy Queen Taylor.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Swift Fans Swifties in Vienna are not really letting those
concerts being canceled get them down one hundred percent due
to that terrorist plot that was thwarted. These concerts were
scheduled to start yesterday, but hundreds of Swifties took to
the streets sort of starting their own concert. They got together,
exchanged bracelets, sang songs like all Too Well, Cruel Summer,
(16:53):
and they posted videos. You'll see them everywhere with the
hashtag we Love you Taylor. Vienna is also opening its
doors to swifties. You travel to the city and you
don't get to see the concert, and you show your
canceled tickets and you get free burger here, things like that. Yeah,
they're trying to mark. They're trying to do whatever they can.
The other news that is one of these teens who
(17:15):
was charged in this attack plot was hired also to
do security at the very same venue. Super scary plan
to drive a car packed with explosives into a crowd
outside of the concert had there was a siren that
would have been used to get past a security checkpoint.
So it was correct that this was caught and stopped.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
But the show's in London next week. All five are.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Still on, yes, with tighter security coming up next.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
It's Grateful Friday.
Speaker 7 (17:45):
Texter call us eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
It is Grateful Friday, So let us know about the
little and big things you are grateful for. We've asked
about that and back to school recently. So here's one
that's a combo of that says our son Hunter hates school.
Today he starts a new program our school system offers
where he can work at his own pace, one subject
at a time, everywhere everyone learns differently, and we are
(18:13):
grateful that he has this opportunity. And she sent us
a picture of Hunter. So good luck this school year.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Maybe Hunter wild become a fan, you know.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
And good luck to you Hunter in your school year.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Well likes school, Yeah, yeah, you know.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
And that's another thing too, I want to say if
he's entering is at eleventh or twelfth, She said, you know,
this is a short season in your life. You're starting
is half the battle, Like get underway and you're gonna
blink and this time is going to be behind you.
It feels like everything, and it is everything when you're
in school. In fact, don't let anyonet kids, this is
don't let anyone tell you that you're gonna be in
(18:47):
the real world one day. School is the real world,
and it is kind of a hard real world for
many kids. Yeah, it really is. So we're grateful for
you for sharing that. Good Luck in your school year.
Elena sent this in regarding back to school time. It's
like you're so happy for them to go back after
making you nuts all summer, finally free from siblings.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
Roasting each other. But as the kids move up to
new grades, it hits you.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Monday, my son starts his junior year of high school,
my second son starts eighth grade, and my daughter moves
up to second grade.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Yeah, try to get those first day of school pictures.
I hope you did get them.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
You know, my grandmother was right when she said, well,
she told me that her junior year in high school
was her favorite, and she was right about that because
you're in a sweet spot. You don't have that pressure
of what do you do after your graduate You're almost
to the end, right exactly.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
Yeah, it's a sweet spot in high school is for most.
Maybe not all.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
That's true, maybe not all. It's not all one size
fits all, Rebecca says. My boys are adults now, both
in our college graduates. They're photos of the first few
years were my oldest where my oldest son happily smiling
are my favorite. My younger son was crying, begging me
not to make him. I started taking photos of them
getting off the bus so I would have a happy
(20:04):
photo of the younger smart. It's a mom tactic, keep
it coming back to school and grateful comments.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Jody has three things to Know Today Coming up next.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Here's three things to.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Know Today, brought to you by doctor Marty Nature's Blend.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Number one, former President Donald Trump proposed that he and
Vice President Kamala Harris hold three debates on three different networks,
Fox News.
Speaker 6 (20:29):
ABC and NBC.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
So Vice President Kamala Harris was asked, you know, hey,
what do you think about this? She says she was
looking forward to the September eleventh debate on ABC and
didn't comment about any others than that one. So she's
committed to that one. Number two Snoop Dog may become
an Olympics coverage mainstay.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Late more so than he is now.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
It's just a no brainer.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
The word is that NBC reportedly plans to ask him
to be a part of its upcoming twenty twenty six
Winter Olympics coverage. Okay, so every time it rolls around
and then we know that in twenty twenty eight the
Summer Olympics happen in his own backyard in Los Angeles,
So yay.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
And coming up in just a little bit. I've got
the highlights so far from Snoop. I'm sure great ones
this weekend too, yay.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
And number three, speaking of it, Breaking will make its
Olympic debut in Paris today. It's break dancing, but simply
known as Breaking the Women Today the Men Saturday. Unlike
other events, there's no score. You're judged on musicality, execution, vocabulary,
technique and originality.
Speaker 6 (21:40):
The word is.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
It's about self expression and athleticism.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
You're in the know.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
Three things to know today, Sam's Friday favorite.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
My Friday favorite is Snoop Dogg of course from the Olympics. So,
I mean every day there is something on TikTok or
instagram a highlights.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
They call him the ambassador of happiness.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Actually in the segment he has is snooping around Paris
and even as a hashtag, follow the dog O g G.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
I remember we highlighted his call of the badminton the.
Speaker 8 (22:12):
Other day that no I need that, Nope over here,
nope over there?
Speaker 4 (22:15):
What about over there? Nope?
Speaker 8 (22:16):
What about there?
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Give me that?
Speaker 3 (22:17):
I need that that too, And now like the Martha
Stewart has joined him. If you saw that, and she's
joined him for some of the commentary. In fact, they
were talking about the equestrian dressage. The horses again from.
Speaker 8 (22:31):
The pot is kind of hard being the sidewalk skip skip.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Apparently he's always been a fan of the Olympics, so
it's a it's a treat for him to be there.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
I saw an interview with him and he says, ever
since I was a kid, that was the thing to watch.
He's a Summer Olympic fan too, more so than the
Winter Olympics.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
That explains why Martha was at the floor exercises the
other night. I was wondering whether they were showing her
in the crowd.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
She also took him away from the arenas and took
him to a fancy French restaurant. Started to explain things
to your.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Napkin on your lap, and you have that beautiful white
suit and you don't want to drop anything on it.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
These are kind of pay.
Speaker 8 (23:14):
I thought that was Jello Brand putting a duck live it.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
This would happen. They didn't cook it though.
Speaker 8 (23:24):
It's tar tar tartar. No way is this a tortillo.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
And then of course it's France. So she had to
introduce him to s cargo of this is, You're going.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
To love the next dish?
Speaker 8 (23:36):
Oh, what is it?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Chicken wing? This cargo?
Speaker 3 (23:40):
What are is?
Speaker 7 (23:40):
Cargo?
Speaker 8 (23:41):
Snails?
Speaker 4 (23:42):
They look good. I ain't gonna front just.
Speaker 8 (23:45):
Put it in your mouth. I can't because you can't.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
And he pretends to eat a new frozen on the floor.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Good for him. I can't do those either. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
And then you know, we've talked about his pen being
a hot collector item, and he sat down with Blester
Holpe from NBC and he talked about it.
Speaker 8 (24:03):
I didn't know that I was gonna be a part
of his collector's item. And then I made a pin
and I only made like two of them. Everybody want one,
so I got to get a whole bunch of them,
and I'm getting hit by everybody. Flavl flave Michael Phelps everybody.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Hey dog, I.
Speaker 8 (24:15):
Need that pin. I'm like, well, hold on, hold on,
hold on. I didn't know you was supposed to make
hundreds of them.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Good news, as he says, he's making more and he's
gonna mail him to everybody that asks for him.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
Oh, I believe you, snoop. You know what else?
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Summer Olympics in twenty twenty eight is in LA. This
keeps coming up because of baby named consultants and us
learning that they exist, and Sam shaking his head about it.
Would never even give somebody five bucks to help with
a name suggestion.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Sham thinks it's a questionable investment.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
I mean, has a lot of money to pay somebody
for something you can do on your own. Sure, And
if you're stumped, there's always Google, and I believe that's free.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Here's what I was saying is that I was lovely.
I loved thinking of baby names. I was lucky that
Murphy and I always agreed. We agreed on Taylor, we
agreed on Phoebe Yeah, yes, check, Jack and.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
The boys boys names we knew to be.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Okay, So Sam, your children, your ex wives, ex girlfriends,
did you ever have a disagreement about names?
Speaker 6 (25:22):
Do you remember?
Speaker 3 (25:23):
No, we never did.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
That's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Well, we knew there was a reason for both of them, Jackson.
It was either Jack or Max. Okay, Yeah, and we
were both cool with that and we decided to go
with Jack.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
That's good. So there were other issues then.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Okay, bringing that names not all the reps to the stuff,
and what about Maddie and Parker the twins.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Goodness, you weren't. I was not involved in that.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
And those are good names though, yeah, I remember being
told those were going to be those kids' names.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Now the questions why were you not involved?
Speaker 6 (25:58):
You don't have to I know why you weren't in.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Some things are meant to be inshrouded in mystery.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
Those are some good names. Do you love them? Oh?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yeah, they're great names.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
They are good.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
No.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
I like the short versions of Matty and Madeline.
Speaker 6 (26:10):
You know, yeah, it's just funny because.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
I don't know a story behind those names. But I
am sure.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
There are couples who have okay, who have disagreed about
what the name is, and then somebody wins that battle
because a name goes on a birth certificate. And then
is it something that bothers you forever? Do you eventually
accept it because it's your child?
Speaker 6 (26:29):
You know?
Speaker 1 (26:30):
If that is you, if you've ever been in that boat,
I want to know about it.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
I mean, I would hope somebody doesn't hold a grudge
long term, because you're not going to have that conversation.
I'm not proud. Well, you know, if it were up
to me, you wouldn't be called.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
I'm not saying grudge.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
Oh is your mama's fault saying grudge?
Speaker 6 (26:47):
But sometimes people remember things like that.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
Are the arguments that went with them.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
You're right, okay?
Speaker 1 (26:52):
So eight seven seven three one zero four msj to
let us know if you've ever been in that spot.

another ted Lasso?
Speaker 3 (27:11):
I'm not sure because you hate to see him force something.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
Okay. Oh, that's a lovely way to put it, Sam. Okay.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
So the bosses for ted Lasso's say, there's They continually
talked about the possibility of a fourth season or a
spin off, but it all lands on the shoulders of
Jason sudeikis.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Not only is he the star, he's the head writer.
And his life has.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Sort of been overhauled and turned upside down lately. He's
had he's moved to a different country, you know, to
be with children, and you know, he had that whole divorce,
nasty divorce. So anyway, they said, the ball is firmly
in his court at this point, so if he wants
to write it, they're good. Everybody's on board. They're all
(27:56):
sort of like waiting on the edge of their seat,
all right.
Speaker 6 (27:59):

They probably would be worth thousands. Now.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
I can tell you there's some sweet childhood memories though,
from my mom collecting those red lobster glasses.
Speaker 6 (29:19):
Yeah, it's like a naked lady or something.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
No, no, you saw the lighthouse, the red lobster lighthouse.
Speaker 6 (29:25):
What was the naked lady glass? Then we inherited it.
Speaker 4 (29:29):

Speaker 3 (29:30):
I think so that was not in his family.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
Okay, I'm sorry, Please continue.
Speaker 3 (29:36):

be too kind. Breakfast meal, which is a sausage McMuffin,
nice ash brown coffee, or the regular meal ten piece
nugget or a big mac with fry and drink and
