Yes, it's been a very good year. I think people
have been trying to be very good and also they're
enjoying being together. They're enjoying the simple things, and I
think this is going to be a very special Christmas.

Well, I tried for Taylor Swift tickets. That didn't.

that out. We think all your connections, you know, speaking

things to make and so many things too. You know,
we have other corporations that help you know your gifts
for the kids.

She runs the operation. You know, there's this misconception that
she sits at home and bakes cookies and that's all

My wife is actually the entire chief of the operation.

She engineers everything, organizes all of the toys and the liveries.
I would never do it. They talk about women in
stem you know, in technological positions. This is my wife
for the last hundred plus years.

Where did you meet her?

Well, you know the movie you watch, But in real life, Sam,
we met by chance walking through the forest, and I.

in the way of her walking on her path in
the snow, and I pushed my foot on the log
and I swiped right and then she passed and that's
how we met.

Okay, only tender that starts wonderful fires in the fireplace.

So tell me this. Do you guys celebrate Christmas after
your big journey? I know that you must.

Oh, we have Aleather coming. Yes, absolutely, everybody at the
North Pole a celebration when Christmas is Christmas. That's what
we want it to be. Is everybody needs Christmas more

doesn't always work out where you get everything that you

do you say to somebody who doesn't get everything that
they want.

Well, I mean sometimes a child who lives in an
apartment building wants a pony. That's not really a good idea, right,
and it's not good for the family or for them,
And so you have to learn that you don't always
get what you want. But in the words of the
Great Keith, you find sometimes you get that's right, you

Did you have anything to do with the writing of

I inspired it a little bit.

Yes, you must have something to do with his longevity too.

Yes, I I think I gave Keith a head baden
one year and then in it were the lyrics to

It's true. It's a good question to ask because sometimes
and another thing that I want to just throw out
there is that even if you kids don't get to
sit on his lap at a store, or you don't
you know, you don't get if you never get to
send the email in Santa, you know what everyone wants.

Right, no one wants I am. I am the Spirit
of Christmas. I'm not a person. I'm a spirit and
I'm the Spirit of Christmas. And it's in everyone's heart
if you will look there and you want it, and
it's especially in the heart of children. And what it
is is the fulfillment of wishes, of dreams, of little

things that mean something for a very short time. I mean,
all the grown ups listening and all three of you
think about all the toys you had that went away.
That's true, they worry all you wanted, But what stayed
were the memories and the spirit, and that's what I am.

and sometimes when you grow up and you're a grown up,

of helpers. And the fun thing about my helpers is
that I choose them. They're very carefully chosen and they
have the same spirit as Santa. But sometimes the one

that you find in the mall, or in the store
or at the celebration at the festival is really me.

I know, I know, I really was with you that
year that the kids that Phoebe would not sit on
your lap and life I got in.

Yes? I mean, generally, if the weather is cloudy, I'll
start with Rudolph, and then I use a three reindeer
team when I'm not delivering a toy.

Yes, Usually it's Rudolph, Dasher and dancers. It's sort of
the go to team. It's like my private jet, right.

Well, first of all, remember that Santa can be many
places at one time. That's how I get all the
toys in presents delivered magic. But also I have lots
of helpers. And the fun thing about my helpers is
that I choose them. They're very carefully chosen and they
have the same spirit as Santa. But sometimes the one

that you find in the mall, or in the store
or at the celebration at the festival is really me.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I know, I know, I really was with you that
year that the kids that Phoebe would not sit on
your lap and life I got in.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
That was me.
Speaker 2 (14:41):

that I know that wasn't you was the year that
our oldest daughter Taylor had a dirty diaper.

It is really truly Santa's helpers who have good spirits
and the same exact spirit as Santa.

Yes, I love it.

So wherever you're going to see Santa, you're going to
have a special experience. Or maybe you'll have a dirty
diaper and Santa will have a special experience.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
Yeah. The reindeer team you use today to get here,
is that the ones we all know? Or do you
have the B team or the C team?
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yes? I mean, generally, if the weather is cloudy, I'll
start with Rudolph, and then I use a three reindeer
team when I'm not delivering a toy.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yeah, you don't have to load all those toys.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yes, Usually it's Rudolph, Dasher and dancers. It's sort of
the go to team. It's like my private jet, right.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
I mean, prances Are and the Red Vixen. They don't
all get upset like, oh you get to go again,
not at all.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
They very happy they're back.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
You know, as soon as you leave and get over
the horizon, that's when the talking starts.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
No, I have a reindeer cam on my phone. I'm
watching right now. All right, they're doing fine.
