By the way, a FOODI ninja or a ninja foodie
is either an indoor grill and or an indoor air fryer.
Oh okay, in case anybody was wondering.

Yeah, I got the weirdest pizza and the weirdest soup
you've ever heard of.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
If it's new and you can eat it, Sam's found it.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Here's the food dude, brought to you by Loaves.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
All Right, we got a weird pizza coming from the
folks at CC's. What is that spaghetti and meatball pizza?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Yeah, how does that work?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
That's their cell that celebration of their fortieth birthday. Let's
see spaghetti noodles, savory meatballs, marinara sauce, and melted cheese atop. Well,
just on the crust, yes, on the crust. It does
look like they cut the noodles at so you don't.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Have too many noodles. I mean, we've seen macaroni and
cheese pizzas, so possibly.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
They also make a mac oh do they?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Okay? Honestly for a weird you know, like thinking out
of the box pizza, that's not that out of the
box because it's in the same food family.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Yeah, oh yeah, And this is like one of those
things a kid would go exactly, Yeah, I would try it. Yes, okay,
And here's another weird Jimmy John's they brought back their
Kicking Ranch sauce, but they've also taken it to a
new level. They now have a Kicking Ranch soup. Oh okay,

(03:36):
rich and creamy. I don't have the ingredients for it,
but it does look like there's a little yellow in it,
so I'm assuming there's some froth maybe.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Moving over to the grocery store, AMC Theater popcorn, they
now have a new flavor. If you don't recall a
MC now sells their popcorn at in the stores, you know,
in the bags you can pop your own. And they
now have a cinnamon butter flavor.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Oh well, that sounds good.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
He says, I'll try that.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
There's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I feel like that's the one you don't stop eating
until it's gone.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Each bag is one serving, yes, right. And milana they
have true mood the milk people. They have a strawberry
and banana and milana milk.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Huh, chocolate milk too, I think so, I think so.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
And in time for Valentine's Day, Marilla Pasta now has
their heart shaped pasta out and a little warning with
this instead. Apparently every year when they put it out,
it sells like instantly. Once you're here, it's on the
step of the shelves. Go get it for Valentine's.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
So favor if you find it in the stores. I
want a box. If I find it, I'll buy, Like
I just want a box this year, Murphy. I don't know.
I just do want to make some heart pasta for
the kids.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Is it better made l dente or I mean I.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Think well, I think it's better made with love.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yes, that's true.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
And a little Wendy's Frosty. News for you, they brought
back the Vanilla Frosty. The assalted caramel from the Holidays
went away, so Vanilla's back.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
That sells. I would love to know the numbers.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Have fun with that.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Coming up next to your Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Trending now Jody's Hollywood Outsider prod.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Do you buy Private Team?

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Miss?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
There is a documentary coming about SNL. Not to be
confused with the documentary that's already running and airing about
SNL and the sketches and the you know, auditions and
behind the scenes. This is about the music. It's been
produced by Questlove. It's called Ladies and Gentlemen Fifty years
of SNL Music. Ladies and Gentlemen, Ladies and.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Why who you are?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
You don't know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
It's a huge library with the performances.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Can either go one way where he complete opposite.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Ones cl and you're not.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
So this is what happened. In twenty twenty one, Laurene
Michaels approached Questlove about the idea of doing a documentary
about the music for the musical performances, and so Questlove
sort of digging into it, taking his time, and he's like, yeah,
the musical performances are crazy, there's a lot of stories
to tell and it's live. But he also found along

(06:00):
the way, He's like this, the musical sketches are also unforgettable.
So that's why it took a little bit longer. We're
not getting it until this month twenty twenty five because
he also added musical sketches. I mean, my brain is
hurting from the excitement of that.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
M Prince James Brown, Yes, think about that much.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I think about Phil Hartman doing Frank Shanata Billy Idle. Okay,
so look for that there the other way around. Sting
pretended he was Billy Idle.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, now, okay, So this one on January twenty seventh,
around the corner on NBC than Peacock following the next day,
what is your dream job? Note that most people are
not doing their dream jobs. And if you had your
dream job, it would also have kinks. Yeah, but also

(06:53):
I mean, you know what I mean, it would also
have problems and bumps.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah, it's the problems that you're not thinking of because
you're thinking dream job.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
It'll be the best, right, number one dream job in
the United States based on you know, people being asked,
based on surveys and studies. Pilot really well, I can
see that being Does that light you guys up? I
bet it does.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
I mean I think in the backgime I had, that's
one of those that I think would have been cool.
But it's also one of them. If you love aviation,
I'm sure you love that job, but it has its
own pressures and you know, strains too.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
What I think of is this is and forgive me,
because I know if you love aviation, you you it's
like an honor to lie those planes, for to be
handling that, for the airlines and all these lives. It
is massively important. But forgive me for saying it. But
you're you're just you're just taking people around all the time.

(07:49):
You are just you're you're bouncing around the country all
the time. Sometimes you're in hotel rooms and you don't
even know where you.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Are you are, but you're doing it in a scenic
kind of way. I guess it's kind of like I mean,
because there are there are lifetime you know, bus drivers
that do tour buses and right, and just charter buses
in that right, they love.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
It and that's a very social job though too. There's
a lot of discussion going.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
On and right it's like eighteen wheelers, you know, same
travel all.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Over the place and everyone's different. So anyway, just so
you know, that's at the top of the list.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Pylon has you has your dream job changed? Let's see,
I'm thinking of mine and it changes over the years. Kid,
I wanted to be an astaurant. I really did want
to be an I was like math forget that. I
would love to own a pizza restaurant right now. But
but I mean, like right now, pizza is an important
part of my life. I'm just a pizza nut.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah, because you consume it. The restaurant business man, that
is a tough it's.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
A twenty four hour job.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
And you know once its to hurt your love of pizza, dude,
right and.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Then after yeah, after a couple of months of that,
I'm I like, I don't want to see another pizza
in my life.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Correct, Okay? Yeah? And you're right. Your dream job, your
aspirations do change throughout your life. It's a moving target,
do you know what?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
The dream job at least opens up the goal setting
and all that Such a great place to start.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I've spoken like Murphy, So Pilot's number one, attorney, police officer, pharmacist,
and nurse rounding out the top five.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Coming up next, Jody has three things to note today.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Three things to know today brought to buy state farm.
Number one, As of last night, the Hughes fire in
northern Los Angeles County had burned over ten thousand acres
and what about new fire right it is and it
brought about about fifty thousand evacuation orders as well. Yesterday
the governor signed new legislation to send two point five
billion dollars in relief to help and with response. And

(09:45):
they certainly need it.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
And the President's going to be there today today.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Number two speaking of the President. He signed a ton
of executive orders this week, and here's kind of a
big one that's being talked about. He signed orders to
declassify files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy,
Robert F. Kennedy, and doctor Martin Luther King. He says
that like continuing to withhold this info is not consistent

(10:08):
with the public interest. He said, it's long overdue. He
signed them, put the pen down on the desk and
looked at them for a second and said, give that
one to RFK Junior. And number three, it's been announced.
Kendrick Klamar announced that Sizza is going to be his
special guest at the super Bowl halftime show. They're on

(10:30):
tour together. They're co headlining a tour now. They've worked
together a lot. First, the first thing we had from
them together was the twenty eighteen Black Panther soundtrack. They
had a song all the Stars.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Yeah. I saw the teaser video he put out for
it where she dumbs a bunch of gatorade on him.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yes, And of course the super Bowl New Orleans, super
Bowl fifty nine on February ninth. You're in the note.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Three things to know Today.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Jody's Top five entertainment stories of the week.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Brought to you by number five.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
We are getting a new documentary about the OJ Simpson case.
It's going to land on Netflix later this month called
American Man Hunt OJE.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I have in the car.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I'm coming up to pre It's going to be in
four parts. Here's the big question, why now? What else
can we possibly know? So here's why. Last year the
FBI released four hundred and seventy five pages of documents
that had not been released before focused on the investigation.
It's like a file dump, okay, which came two months

(11:34):
after OJ Simpson passed away. So on Netflix in four parts.
January twenty seventh, Number four. Nosferatu, the scary gothic horror
movie they debuted on Christmas. To me, the director is
not done scaring us with this sort of gothic horror.
His name is Robert Eggers, and he's promising another horror

(11:55):
flick Christmas twenty twenty six called Werewolf spelled wer w
u l F.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Number three.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Okay, So what's going on with director Justin Baldoni and
actress Blake Lively from the movie. It ends with us
she is suing him alleging sexual harassment and retaliatory smear
campaign which he started right after the movie wrapped filming,
which I think we all knew about that. You know,
he was throwing her under the bus. He's filed a

(12:25):
four hundred million dollar lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband,
Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for defamation and extortion. It's
really really ugly. You know, we're all going to be
examining this footage and it's like he said, she said,
I think we're gonna one day be watching a movie
about the making of this movie. And it's sad because
it's gonna slow down both of their careers for legal

(12:48):
stuff for money. Number two, how about some happier news
another Ryan Ryan Gosling in talks to star in a
standalone Star Wars movie the director of Deadpool and Wolverine,
Stan Levy. Levy he wrote that and worked on that.
He's been working on this for two years, but it's

(13:09):
kind of stalled because he didn't have a star. Now
he's sitting across the table from Ryan Gosling like, I
want you oh.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Number One, it's one of.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
My favorite stories to come out of Hollywood. Demi Moore,
at the age of sixty two, received her first ever
Oscar nomination for the movie The Substance. There's been a
slight misuse of the substance in Hollywood. The trend is
once a woman has passed a certain age, you know
her career is over. And this is just turns all
of that on its side. Especially and it's ironic. It's

(13:37):
a poetic twist because the movie is kind of about
these unrealistic beauty standards. Look for Demi at the Academy Awards.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Jody's top five entertainment stories of the.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Week coming up next. Does the pen you write with matter?
Does the pen you write with matter?

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah? What Murphy would you like to weigh in?

Speaker 1 (13:59):
I'll say, I mean I do I like pens and pencils? Yes?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yes and no?

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Well yeah, right with it. There's the cup you drink
your coffee out of matter. I think that one matters too,
And the pins do matter. He can bring it up
because have you guys caught the fact that President Trump
is signing all these executive orders with a big fat sharpie?
Have you seen that he signs with sharpies? And he's
the only president to do it. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (14:25):
It means he's not gone anywhere.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I guess.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
So you can't get rid of a sharpie.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Yeah, okay, so it's you.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Know, wonder if it bleeds through important documents though, huh.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
There's are important document executive.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Marketing on the desk.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
This apparently it's not a new thing. In his first term,
he was signing documents with the typical presidential pin that
was a very expensive, beautiful type executive pin. Did yeah,
and it was you know, it probably kept in an
expensive box, and he didn't like the way it felt.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
I understand.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
He literally said, wait, I've been using sharpiees for years,
and he used to use sharpie's to sign autographs, to
like make notes on newspaper articles and things like you know,
back in the day or whatever.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I think everybody has a personal preference when it comes
to writing, whether you're the president or not. You know,
I mean, I know, for me, human things, they're very
specific pins. If I'm going to write with a pen
that I like that have the gel ink thing, I
like that. I like mechanical pencils. If I'm going to
write with a pencil every now and then I will
get into the pins that both of y'all use the flares. Yeah,

(15:33):
Jody and Sam like the flares. I'm back and forth those.
It just depends.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
So the word is he's in his first term and
he was like writing and he's like, this is a
horrible pin, but it's extremely expensive. And he's been writing
with Sharpie's forever. So he called up the people at
Sharpie and said, like, do me a favor. Can you
make a small a pin in black for me? A
lot like your regular Sharpie, but make it look rich?

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Oh really did? That's the world is that they did.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
So they're now presidential sharks.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Is a presidential Sharpie. I don't think you can buy
them at office depot. I mean I think they're only you.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Know, at some point they should do Yeah, right, I
mean totally.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
It's just one of those stories that keeps floating around
and it keeps popping up. So when you see that
big fat ink, he does mean to be using a Sharpie.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Coming up next Showdy has your Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
The latest buzz Jody's Hollywood Outsider, brought to you by
Private Team Missed.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Now that the Academy Awards have officially been announced and
everything has sort of settled in, we're talking about the
movie Emilia Perez leading the pack with thirteen nominations overall.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
But none for Selena Gomez.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
I know that, and that's one of the snubs that
you know. It's it's a head scratcher in Hollywood. It
happens every single time. But let's talk about some of
the big nominations. Of course, Cynthia Arrivo getting a Best
Actress nod, the wonderful.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Was Ador Boss Someone's Youth to the Emerald City coming.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
And then and the Best Support category it's Ariana Grande.
So these two carrying this movie but not having to
compete with one another, which is kind of nice. Ariana
Grande posted this beautiful message on social media when she
got the nomination, picking my head up between sobs to
say thank you so much to the Academy for this

(17:19):
unfathomable recognition. Ooh, and she shared a picture of herself
when she was little, and she said, sharing tiny Aria
with you, who sat and studied Judy Garland just before
this big beautiful bubble entered my life, meaning just before
she accepted the role you know, as Glinda in Wicked.

(17:39):
A couple of snubs Nicole Kidman for a baby girl
and Pamela Anderson for the Last show Girl. Coming up
with Murphy Salmon, Jody.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Got some music news on the way, including a brand
new Tina Turner song It's actually forty years old

Speaker 1 (17:52):
That's coming up in Part two of Today's Murphy, Sam
and Jody Show podcast
