Sam, you should know that you were a little subject
of conversation the other night when I went on a walk,
a sunset walk with our daughter, Taylor named Murphy's daughter Taylor.
Usually we talk about you, Mar not really, we just
talk about whatever. But Taylor is our oldest and our youngest.
Phoebe has always more been the artist, right, just they're

both the artistic.

They were both right bring creatives. But but Taylor is
certainly more I don't know, maative in other ways, expressive
in different ways.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yes, Phoebe. When they were little, Phoebe would be able
to paint anything, draw anything. Still to this day, Taylor
doesn't like it when we display their artwork together. I
love figure exactly what she said. But here's what happened.
We were talking and Taylor said, and she's correct. She says,

I've realized where I like to be creative, and this
is where you came to the conversation. Sam. She says,
where I love being creative the most is in the kitchen.
And boy is it true. She and that's perfect because
you are very creative in the kitchen and it's necessary anyway,
it's functional. You got to eat. And I was telling
her that you're the same, Sam, It's where you probably

feel the most creative.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah, that's where I have the most fun. I enjoy
the kitchen the most. I mean I can walk in there.
I haven't done it in a while, like Taylor does
all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
I walk.

I can walk in there and find two or three
things and make something out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Right, fantastic. Not everyone can do that. Everyone has that
game well.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
And I think it's important to Taylor acknowledge that. And
it's difficult for anybody. Everybody wants to be good at
a lot of different things. You can't be great at everything. Now,
that's what makes the world special. Everybody has different talents
in different areas.

Right, And it's just so cool to watch her become
self aware, like struggling with that, knowing she's a creative type,
but not seeing in an action most of her life.
And now she sees that, oh wait, yeah, mom and
dad were going to throw away that chicken, and I
made a stock out of it. More and she actually
cooked for us since then. She made a chicken orzo

soup with that stock and it was insanely good.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
It was delicious, and the house always smells like it's
going to be some sort of a Michelin five star restaurant.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
You know that secret is really garlic. She uses a
lot more garlic than I do.

I love that though.

Yeah, Murphy walks into on Taylor must be cooking, and
garlic is so fragrant when you cook it completely. Anyway,
everybody really is an artist. Everybody does have creativity in them.
You just you may not see it manifest itself until
later in your life. Like she's singing, Yeah, coming up

I had back surgery. I had been an excruciating, NonStop
pain for the last three and a half years. That
sounds horrible. Back pain. Back pain changes everything day and night.

department store, could not walk anywhere for the pain today,
zero pain, none capital ze ros.

I'm living whatever normal life is right now, going wherever

many people who do and while stabilitating.

and the wow today is my children. My daughter started
a new job last month, my oldest son, who is autistic,
will be moving out at the end of next month.
And my youngest son has a heart of gold and

want to commend my daughter who has struggled with social anxiety.
It's made it difficult for her throughout school. However, against
all odds, she is graduating from high school this month

apparently I found out from talking to her mom h
this past weekend that there's some things there that are unusual.

We know one of them, right, well, my mom.

She is one of the two grandmas and she will
be also. They were also both flower girls.

That's not unusual. That's just sweet.

will have bubble guns. They have been instructed not to
just walk down the aisle going. They've been instructed to
camlet ham it up like it's a party. I'm coming

bunch of fresh flowers to throw out.

Not that I love flowers, but so let me guess,

wedding they're going on a helicopter tour of the city
at night.

head hurt for all of it to be celebrated on
top of each other. So we're going to open the
floor for you here right now for the ultimate taking
care of business people, nurses and teachers. And they have
the you know what, it's called a squirrel day. You know,
everything is all over, happening all the time, everything everywhere,

all at once. Eight seven, seven, three, one zero four
Msja to shout out a nurse, a teacher, anybody you
know in that category.

You have one for us, Mary, Yes, I was calling
about Nurses Week, and I wanted to give a shout
out to a She's not exactly a nurse, she's a
nurse practitioner. Her name is Aerin, and she literally saved.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
My life back in twenty fifteen because she had test
her hand. She said, let's just get some blood work
and look, and the results came back. She wanted to
have an ultrasound and when whenever they went in, they
found that I had a tumor and it was an
aggressive type of cancer, but it was removed.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
And I am now all these years out, a survivor
of kidney cancer.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
So I wanted to.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
Give her a shout out. If it wasn't for her.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
We may not have ever found it.

basically the best thing they could come up with to
match the movie to the popcorn bucket. It's a cylinder
like from the latest film. It's got a red top
and bottom, a c through center where you see your popcorn. Okay,

So anyway, excited about that. I mean a lot of
people are more excited about that show than watching Yellowstone.
You ever watch a show that's an ensemble cast and
there's twelve people to follow, but you like once certain Yeah,
a lot of people were always waiting for those rip
and bet scenes.

And sometimes it's tough for that spin off to work
because inside the ensemble it's entertaining, but then you split
them off. It doesn't always. I don't know.

I had back surgery. I had been an excruciating, NonStop
pain for the last three and a half years. That
sounds horrible. Back pain. Back pain changes everything day and night.

This reads could not walk inside a grocery store or
department store, could not walk anywhere for the pain today,
zero pain, none capital ze ros.

That's awesome.

I'm living whatever normal life is right now, going wherever
I please with no pain. So thank you Kim shouting
that out.

All right, Kim, good for you, Good for you.

I bet you probably never even thought you'd be out
of that right live with back pain. You know so
many people who do and while stabilitating.

And sometimes I've heard where the surgeries do or don't
give the relief. It depends on the person.

I'm glad to hear a success story. Yeah, that is
a wow, Kim, Thank you for sending it. Also, Ashley
sent this comment on our Facebook page. I'm proud of
and the wow today is my children. My daughter started
a new job last month, my oldest son, who is autistic,
will be moving out at the end of next month.
And my youngest son has a heart of gold and

is always helping everyone. Oh super sweet. All right, Moving
on to Amber for my keep the wow today, I
want to commend my daughter who has struggled with social anxiety.
It's made it difficult for her throughout school. However, against
all odds, she is graduating from high school this month
with a three point zero. So proud of her and

Yeah, they say they're going to slow it down and

if there's no winner. Slower pace, so you know, maybe

the twenty ninth. And number three Mother's Day is this weekend, Sunday,
May eleventh, and the word is from open Table. They

have found and are reporting that moms are having to
book their own Mother's Day meals. No, a lot of
them are, and that's just not right. If anything, she
should not have to plan the day. Do it for her.

You ever been to a wedding where they do stuff
that's non traditional, favorite kind and don't follow the format
like it's usually favorite kind.

That's what I am going to be going to this weekend.
My niece is getting married no traditional.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Yeah, I thought it was going to be traditional, but
apparently I found out from talking to her mom h
this past weekend that there's some things there that are unusual.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
We know one of them, right, well, my mom.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
She is one of the two grandmas and she will
be also. They were also both flower girls.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
That's not unusual. That's just sweet.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
But but it's not flowers. Oh, they both have and
will have bubble guns. They have been instructed not to
just walk down the aisle going. They've been instructed to
camlet ham it up like it's a party. I'm coming
(11:50):
down the aisle.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
That's fun and yeah, that's less expensive than having a
bunch of fresh flowers to throw out.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Not that I love flowers, but so let me guess,
let me ask this to your mom. How does she
feel about this? She's into it, She's all about it.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Goin. She's been told what to do when she's like,
I can do that, no problem. Apparently the other grandma
is on board too.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Are they going to be competing with each other about
who can be the crazy at grandma?
Speaker 1 (12:13):

Maybe they could do like a stand off k corral.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Will they pick out pick out their own bubble gum gun?

I mean the guns have already been purchased.

Yeah, it would be fun to have to kind of
make the huge bubbles.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Yeah. I don't know what kind they are. I just
know that they've already got that. The other thing is
when when the wedding's over, you know, usually the bride
and groom they come walking out, rice or whatever, they
get in the car and they spirit away. Not the
case for this one. They're going to leave the wedding
in a helicopter.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
What.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Yes, they're gonna leave it. Who because right after the
wedding they're going on a helicopter tour of the city
at night.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Oh nice?
Speaker 3 (12:54):
So what they're going to go out on weather permitting, obviously,
But when it's over, everybody's yay Rice all it's stuff.
If they get in the helicopter they take.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
And everybody's on the ground right there, like everybody gets
to see what you're gonna get there we go?
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Can we leave now?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Oh? I hope not.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Yeah, they're not going on a honeymoon right away. They're
waiting until that epic universe opens, that universal nice in
a few weeks, and then they're going on all right, Oh.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
My much, that's cool.

I thought. The coolest thing about this wedding is that
the grandmas were asked to be the flower girls, which
is a what at least for a decade people have
been doing that. It's still a beautiful idea.

I never know why these weeks are lumped together. It
makes my head her a little bit, but National Nurses
Week this week and National Teachers Week Appreciation rather week

this week leading up to Mother's Day. It makes my
head hurt for all of it to be celebrated on
top of each other. So we're going to open the
floor for you here right now for the ultimate taking
care of business people, nurses and teachers. And they have
the you know what, it's called a squirrel day. You know,
everything is all over, happening all the time, everything everywhere,
(14:21):
all at once. Eight seven, seven, three, one zero four
Msja to shout out a nurse, a teacher, anybody you
know in that category.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
You have one for us, Mary, Yes, I was calling
about Nurses Week, and I wanted to give a shout
out to a She's not exactly a nurse, she's a
nurse practitioner. Her name is Aerin, and she literally saved.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
My life back in twenty fifteen because she had test
her hand. She said, let's just get some blood work
and look, and the results came back. She wanted to
have an ultrasound and when whenever they went in, they
found that I had a tumor and it was an
aggressive type of cancer, but it was removed.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
And I am now all these years out, a survivor
of kidney cancer.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
So I wanted to.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
Give her a shout out. If it wasn't for her.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
We may not have ever found it.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Right.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Yeah, that's right, That's exactly right.
Speaker 5 (15:23):
So I am thankful for her and.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
Her wisdom to go ahead and do some things that
was out of the.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Norm, sure to go the extra mile.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Sure do you sort of keep in touch with her,
are you guys friends now?
Speaker 5 (15:37):

And she's just a wonderful person. And I no longer
work where she was the nurse practitioner, but I am
still to this day so thankful for her and her wisdom.

Tom Cruise was going to let his popcorn bucket not
be the best one in this popcorn bucket war. We're
in at movie theaters. So this movie comes out May
twenty third. It's the eighth and final installment in this

franchise with the allegend allegedly, so yeah, he has to
locate a special key to thwart off plans. This is
the prol out of the movie of an evil AI entity, Okay,
and everything that you expect, all the scenes and the
chases and the him jumping off of the earth. So
the word is real Cinemas they've just released, you know,

basically the best thing they could come up with to
match the movie to the popcorn bucket. It's a cylinder
like from the latest film. It's got a red top
and bottom, a c through center where you see your popcorn. Okay,
but you can't get to it right. The word is
if you choose to accept the mission, you have to
locate two hidden keys under a latch on top to

open it. I'm thinking, if you're hungry for that popcorn
in that movie, you can't get into that bucket.
