Speaker 1 (00:01):
Thanks for being a Murphy Samon Jetty Podcasts forever. We
have a lot of exclusive fun here because we keep
going after the show.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
All right, let's be honest. Do you get hung up
on small decisions sometimes? And does it make you crazy
that you're hung up on something that you know does
not make or break you?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Small decision meaning just something that really is at the
end of the day, if you make.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
But you are you're stretching it out. You get hung
up on small decisions. I think it's a bad habit.
I think some people have, you know, serious problems with it,
like anxiety almost with decision making. Yeah, when I catch
myself getting hung up on small decisions, it makes me
feel crazy because it's like I know that this doesn't matter.
And when I'm having a very busy it almost depends

(00:44):
on the day I'm having, because if I'm busy and
productive and getting things done, I can make decisions quickly
like okay with a boom boom boom boom, and there's
a there's a I don't know if it's a high,
but there's definitely a feeling to that. To me, I
feel productive. But I hung up online the other day
trying to pick out a wallet.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Okay, meaning the decision was which one to purchase?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yes, you know I wanted that big fat wallet.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Thing where I get hung up usually is the is
it worth the extra two ninety nine to have it
arrived tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
See, that's the same thing that's getting hung up on
a small decision. Do you ever get hung up on
a lot?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I mean, okay, I can see you're looking at a
wallet or you're looking at whatever and a hundred design,
but this one is the color I kind of like,
and it has this, but this one is not the
color I want to it's got four extra features.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
There, or this one feels really nice, it's got the
whatever cover that I want. I know, And I literally
just backed away and didn't do anything because I'm like,
I am not going to waste my precious time on
this stupid decision. Yeah, it's a normal thing that I know.
I would not name any names, but I know people
who get way hung up on small decisions, and I
feel like it's a it's definitely a barrier in your life.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, but I think that kind of decision that's like,
I mean to me, it's yes, it's small, but it's
a choice. You can indulge yourself. You're a hardworking person
making a choice of what color is something you want
to wear or whatever is something you can take your
time on the decision to get that People get lost
in is you know, things like shipping or you know,
things that really shouldn't take a whole lot of you know, Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Okay, you're saying it's not such a bad thing to
get hung up on a wallet design.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I think it's a personal choice.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
You know, it's dumb.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Have you ever though, because see it's times like that
when it happens to me, I'll back away. Yeah, I'll
come back to this, and then like three days later
you've forgotten all about it, and it's like, oh, I
didn't buy that wallet? Well right, yeah whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I think the comparison is to other things, you know
what I mean, if it takes your time away from
something else that really is more important than Yeah, maybe
it is, but I only.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Did thirty minutes on that and didn't even do it.
I think that's a problem. That's the way about. That's
why I never wanted to build a house Murphy, remember
that house hunting. I did know. I knew that that's
not for me.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I'm afraid of getting all those small decisions, all those
little decisions.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I just I remember saying to you, Hey, let's not
let's stay married, and let's not remodel or build, and
let's just buy a house. There are millions of them
all over the place, and that's what we did. Little decisions.
