Speaker 1 (00:02):
So one of the things we've been sharing lately. And
I think it's cool that you're actually talking about this, Sam,
that your son Parker as that a school away and
you talk to him once a week, you send him
snacks and stuff, which is cool. He hasn't written you
back yet, but you did call him.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I did tell him he could write. You know, you
could write if you want. Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Well, when you say away, do they still call him
boarding schools or is that an old school term?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I think it's boarding school. He's in a dorm or
a house. He is boarding.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Two things. Number One, I wouldn't let the him not
writing you bother you as much because some people just
don't like to write. Some people are not natural writers, right,
you know, he may not be the letter writing type.
You know, right back in the day, years ago, centuries ago,
that's what that's the only way they had to communicate.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
So you had to.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Now there's he's and he also probably has to drop
off your letter that may seem like that may seem
like work to him, and he's been working all day. Yeah,
so when he has time, he may not want to
do that as well. I'm gonna say, please, don't take
that to hard.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Think about that even for our kids. I mean, of course,
obviously they're learning to write in school and all that,
but there's everything that they do to communicate today. Is
it's text, is social media or whatever. So yeah, if
you're not traditional, right exactly, wouldn't even occur, right?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Agree?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
The other question, you know, if this is something we
you don't want to discuss. I totally get it. It
just dawned on me the other day when you were
telling us about it. Is this something that you and
his mother decided to do together or was she kind
of lead know this needs to happen because he lives
with her more together?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I mean, because I knew what his behavior was. Like,
that's hard, isn't it. I was kind of pushing for
a facility closer to home.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
But you know, right, so that's was that one of
the hardest decisions you've ever made? I would think? So?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, I think that's wonderful on two fronts. A, it's
a very difficult decision be you were able to do
it with, you know, somebody who's no longer really in
your life on a day to day basis. Right in X,
I'm just saying, how did that go?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
The decision made laughing.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I'm just saying I think some people might have a
tough time doing that.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Right, Yeah, yeah, Hey, look so far, it's only cost
me a five hundred dollars speeding ticket.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
That was all your fault. Jody's got the Hollywood outsider.
