that everyone should know. I think it's great that y'all
have the dynamic where it's not just one parent teaching
everything and that they can turn to both parents for
all around great skills.

Cool. I don't know if I think if other houses
are like that. I mean, what do you mean where
it's dad's the more practical and you know, mom's the
more emotional. I just you know feel like that's how
it sometimes has come down sometimes.

You know, I think they get a blend of both.
They We've got some pretty cool practical stuff going there.

In the kitchen, and they don't care about that until
they they're in their own kitchens. That's how that goes.

I started feeling like it was that or therapy or

a documentary about the making of Jaws, and I think
we mentioned about of Alid sequels. There was a Jaws two,
a Jaws three, and a fourth movie called Jaws The Revenge.
I had no idea because I've only ever seen parts

I remember there being a second one. I didn't remember

name someone else's child, but it's not a question I
ever thought to be that I would be asked. It
was always a very important task, one of the most

That kind of a question bordered well, it's almost along
the same lines of are you going to be a matchmaker?
You know what I mean? Are you going to name
somebody else's kids?

Even more so, well so, it's very personal, right, it's
Asa and Kristin your.

My nephew your nephew is wife.

His wife Kristen, she's awesome and we got to see
her the other night at the house and she's expecting.
She's due in September. And I was we know with
her having a boy, and I said, are you any
closer on the name thing? Because we had talked about
it before she wanted suggestions last time I saw her
months ago and I said, are you any closer? She goes, no,
what do you have? I was like, because I do
have one that I didn't drop on her, and she

was like, tell me now, it's Murphy.

No.

But so your sister Jackie is standing right there, and
I don't want anybody else to hear my suggestion because
what if what if she doesn't choose it? I don't know.
So I said come with me and she goes, okay,
why the secrecy. I'm like, it's your child. I go
over to the other side of the wall, you know secret.
I'm like, jack jack is a great name for a boy,

and his grandmother will be Jackie. And she was like,
Jackson is one of the contenders. She said, they love
that name, and they really like the idea of his
initials being Jet and their last name starts with a tea,
So it's like, yeah, because Asa wants to call him Jet,
but she's like, you can't name him jet. We can

just call him Jet. So anyway, even though even though
I let it come out of my mouth, I feel
weird about naming someone else's child.

Well, she hasn't said she'll name it being asked. She
asked your opinion, so that's all.

Yeah. They also really like Whalen and her dad loved
Whalon Jennings. I'm like, that's a cool, unforgettable name.

Oh yeah, so it just takes me a few days
to wind down to where I feel that I'm on vacation.
But that's all not me anymore.

When the kids were little, I definitely I don't know
if I ever really truly relaxed. I was always read
about sunscreen and them in the pool and groceries and cooking,
and I don't know if I ever relaxed when they
were little. But now I'm relaxed. By the time we
pull out.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
The driveway, Well good, I'm glad to do that.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
You know that, Murph Sam.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Jodie's usually asleep for the entire drive, so I just
have to amuse myself for hours. No, I'm just kidding.

For vacations where I'm doing nothing, it's easier to get
into that groove. But like if I'm doing something like
this year, I'm gonna go to a concert, and go
visit some stuff, or like when I went to Denver
and all that. If I have stuff to do, you.

Have an itinerary.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Yeah, I don't completely relax even though I'm enjoying myself
with the experience. Yeah, it's like, oh, don't forget that
net you got to do this next, do that next.
And I don't mean like Disney World, you got to
do this next. We're going to do this ride and
then this ride too much. It's just like you got
stuff to do, or you got three hours open you
want to do something or lay on the whole Tell.

The expert recommendations if you have difficulty relaxing on vacation
or number one, manage your expectations. Do not have unrealistic
expectations like Clark Griswold, or don't have unrealistic expectations because
of social media because your friends, you know, the whole
time they're on that boat, they don't have their glasses
in their promise, you know, or the whole time you know,

at Disney in front of the Magic Kingdom, it's not
like that. The whole time somebody, somebody had to melt
down two seconds before.

Yeah, trust somebody stood in line for two hours to
get on that ride.

Right, they have blisters on their feet, like all of it.
You know, don't be unrealistic. Understand that pain, the pain
and memorable vacations are often rough ones. Don't overschedule yourself.
Don't underschedule yourself. Limit social media. And the final piece
of advice is really good, give yourself at least one

full day recoup time at home.

a family took you the other day on Father's Day

for a lunch, Taylor knew, We all knew that she
had made you a homemade tyr missu and it was
hidden in the refrigerator at home, and so there was
a whole big thing of he can't order dessert, and
I'm like, good luck with that, girls, And so do
you remember what happened when you mentioned that there was
a lemonade pie on the rest on the menu?

Oh, yeah, right, it's anybody interested in that? No, no, Dad,
we don't need to get dessert.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Three times they were like no, and he kept going,
but it's lemonade pie, and Taylor goes, no.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Dad, okay, which is really unusual for Taylor because she's
all in on the dessert with me.

Usually right to me, I thought, did you not get it?
If you didn't get it.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Oh I did? Yeah, knew something that. Yeah, I put
some I mean there was no way around that, but
I knew something had to be there.

Good because you say no, I didn't. I didn't have
to because Taylor was protecting her tearmasoux. Which was funny
because she's the one that's usually like, yeah, let's order
of dessert with him. They're usually in cahoots about dessert
and everybody else could take it or leave it.

But I'm telling you no, everybody had that stunned look
at the table. That's sort of uncomfortable that.

Well, here's the other part of it that you don't know.
When we first got back to the house and she's

the house, whatever, putting your taking your shoes off, whatever,
she goes. Did you see him? He was getting aggravated
with me. Did you see him about the dessert? And
I'm like, well, he's not used to being told no.

Missed first mentioned this last week because I first we
first realized it that the Jaws movie is celebrating its
fiftieth anniversary. So on that geo, they're doing Shark Fest
and there's a documentary that's dropping there with Spielberg talking
about the making of the movie, how they were just

out on the water in the elements doing it. It's
a documentary about the making of Jaws, and I think
we mentioned about of Alid sequels. There was a Jaws two,
a Jaws three, and a fourth movie called Jaws The Revenge.
I had no idea because I've only ever seen parts
of the first one and it scared me.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
I remember there being a second one. I didn't remember
two more after that.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
There was more.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
But the documentary is about the whole cultural phenomena on
that it caused because people it scared them from.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Going into the water. Yeah, don't go into the water.
Crazy phenomenon. Yeah, was a thing.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
I hope they talk about the shark too, maybe the
fake shark, Yeah, because that was like, I don't know
if anything had been't built like that. Before I don't.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I mean, I know it's a remake world in Hollywood,
but if you remade it and made him a cgi shark,
it would be scarier, it would be worse.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
It's like Shark Nado.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I'm sure that question gets asked a lot, but here's
the word. They're also going to release it later this
year in theaters the original Jaws movie August through September,
the last week of August, if you want to see

Handle it when someone else asks you what you think
they should name their kid.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
I don't know if you've ever been asked to help
name someone else's child, but it's not a question I
ever thought to be that I would be asked. It
was always a very important task, one of the most
important decisions we ever made. Murphy yea with our kids,
two girls.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
That kind of a question bordered well, it's almost along
the same lines of are you going to be a matchmaker?
You know what I mean? Are you going to name
somebody else's kids?
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Even more so, well so, it's very personal, right, it's
Asa and Kristin your.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
My nephew your nephew is wife.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
His wife Kristen, she's awesome and we got to see
her the other night at the house and she's expecting.
She's due in September. And I was we know with
her having a boy, and I said, are you any
closer on the name thing? Because we had talked about
it before she wanted suggestions last time I saw her
months ago and I said, are you any closer? She goes, no,
what do you have? I was like, because I do
have one that I didn't drop on her, and she

was like, tell me now, it's Murphy.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
No.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
But so your sister Jackie is standing right there, and
I don't want anybody else to hear my suggestion because
what if what if she doesn't choose it? I don't know.
So I said come with me and she goes, okay,
why the secrecy. I'm like, it's your child. I go
over to the other side of the wall, you know secret.
I'm like, jack jack is a great name for a boy,
(08:07):
and his grandmother will be Jackie. And she was like,
Jackson is one of the contenders. She said, they love
that name, and they really like the idea of his
initials being Jet and their last name starts with a tea,
So it's like, yeah, because Asa wants to call him Jet,
but she's like, you can't name him jet. We can
(08:28):
just call him Jet. So anyway, even though even though
I let it come out of my mouth, I feel
weird about naming someone else's child.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Well, she hasn't said she'll name it being asked. She
asked your opinion, so that's all.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Yeah. They also really like Whalen and her dad loved
Whalon Jennings. I'm like, that's a cool, unforgettable name.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Not common that would stick out right.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
But it's just not a question I ever expected to
be asked, But I gave my honest.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Opinion to be asked than to just volunteer it correct.

get about unpaid tolls just got even worse. They're warning
like one hundred and fifty million iPhone users in the

thought to sort of worm its way into your phone
and really sneak off with even more personal data. And
for some reason, in the month of June, phone scams
like these just shoot through the roof. Maybe the scammers
get I don't know it motivated in the summer. Number
two science finally settling the toilet paper debate. Have you
seen this hop a microbiologist in England says, even though

the patent intended it to roll forward, he says, rolling
it from the back is more. It's a more high option.
It's a one handed job.

It's nicer. Number three Today is the anniversary thirty one
years ago anniversary of OJ's slow speed chase. It unfolded
on TV. We were all watching it live. Every channel
switched to it, even Game five of the nineteen ninety
four NBA Finals. Anyway, OJ went on to be famously
acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown, Simpson and Ronald Goldman,

and then he died of cancer last year. You're in
the note three things to know today if you have
trouble relaxing on vacation, especially the first few days, you
are not alone.

No, that's a real thing.

Isn't that crazy, And it's what it's for. It is
supposed to be a stop, get off the train of
your regular life and enjoy yourself and recoup and heal
or whatever, spend time with family. Would you say you
guys have trouble relaxing on vacation.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Oh yeah, so it just takes me a few days
to wind down to where I feel that I'm on vacation.
But that's all not me anymore.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
When the kids were little, I definitely I don't know
if I ever really truly relaxed. I was always read
about sunscreen and them in the pool and groceries and cooking,
and I don't know if I ever relaxed when they
were little. But now I'm relaxed. By the time we
pull out.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
The driveway, Well good, I'm glad to do that.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
You know that, Murph Sam.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Jodie's usually asleep for the entire drive, so I just
have to amuse myself for hours. No, I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
For vacations where I'm doing nothing, it's easier to get
into that groove. But like if I'm doing something like
this year, I'm gonna go to a concert, and go
visit some stuff, or like when I went to Denver
and all that. If I have stuff to do, you.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Have an itinerary.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Yeah, I don't completely relax even though I'm enjoying myself
with the experience. Yeah, it's like, oh, don't forget that
net you got to do this next, do that next.
And I don't mean like Disney World, you got to
do this next. We're going to do this ride and
then this ride too much. It's just like you got
stuff to do, or you got three hours open you
want to do something or lay on the whole Tell.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
The expert recommendations if you have difficulty relaxing on vacation
or number one, manage your expectations. Do not have unrealistic
expectations like Clark Griswold, or don't have unrealistic expectations because
of social media because your friends, you know, the whole
time they're on that boat, they don't have their glasses
in their promise, you know, or the whole time you know,
(12:22):
at Disney in front of the Magic Kingdom, it's not
like that. The whole time somebody, somebody had to melt
down two seconds before.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah, trust somebody stood in line for two hours to
get on that ride.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Right, they have blisters on their feet, like all of it.
You know, don't be unrealistic. Understand that pain, the pain
and memorable vacations are often rough ones. Don't overschedule yourself.
Don't underschedule yourself. Limit social media. And the final piece
of advice is really good, give yourself at least one
(12:54):
full day recoup time at home.

Absolutely, I think that's important.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Before you slam back into work life. Yeah, we would

order dessert when you're trying to surprise somebody you know
in a group. Is there's a whole group effort to
surprise one person often And this is the behind the
scenes story, Murphy, that you don't know. When we as
a family took you the other day on Father's Day

for a lunch, Taylor knew, We all knew that she
had made you a homemade tyr missu and it was
hidden in the refrigerator at home, and so there was
a whole big thing of he can't order dessert, and
I'm like, good luck with that, girls, And so do
you remember what happened when you mentioned that there was
a lemonade pie on the rest on the menu?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Oh, yeah, right, it's anybody interested in that? No, no, Dad,
we don't need to get dessert.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Three times they were like no, and he kept going,
but it's lemonade pie, and Taylor goes, no.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Dad, okay, which is really unusual for Taylor because she's
all in on the dessert with me.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Usually right to me, I thought, did you not get it?
If you didn't get it.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Oh I did? Yeah, knew something that. Yeah, I put
some I mean there was no way around that, but
I knew something had to be there.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Good because you say no, I didn't. I didn't have
to because Taylor was protecting her tearmasoux. Which was funny
because she's the one that's usually like, yeah, let's order
of dessert with him. They're usually in cahoots about dessert
and everybody else could take it or leave it.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
But I'm telling you no, everybody had that stunned look
at the table. That's sort of uncomfortable that.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Well, here's the other part of it that you don't know.
When we first got back to the house and she's
sneaking the tear misioux out of the refrigerator and putting
it on the bar, you were in the back of
the house, whatever, putting your taking your shoes off, whatever,
she goes. Did you see him? He was getting aggravated
with me. Did you see him about the dessert? And
I'm like, well, he's not used to being told no.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
I didn't get aggravated with her. I guess they could,
you know.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
I guess she felt like she had to say it
three times dad, No, just let it get well.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
I mean when I finally realized that, it's like, oh,
I mean it did click with me.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Then good.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Plus, their boyfriends do not have poker faces.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Oh I didn't notice that.

here's the word. Top Gun three is slowly coming together. Now.
Fans had to wait thirty six years between the first
Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick. It's not going to

be like that for this one. They're on it.

The same screenwriters are writing Top Gun three, and they
say it's an ambitious idea, but it's something that they've
been developing. Even the writers are working with their friends
at the Navy. And of course Tom Cruise is expected
to return. I mean it's not without without him, there's
no I know, there's no Top Gun without Maverick there.
But that's the good news to me. Bring that to

the screen soon while audiences still really wanted. Speaking of
movies that are older that are coming back, I don't
know how this is going to land with audiences. But
you know, Liam Neeson is back. He's playing Frank Dreben
in the new Naked Gun. And guess who's in it
this time? Pamela Anderson over here, Lieutenant, I think someone
