with the girls. We were actually in Dollywood on vacation.

The one thing, since we're on Facebook right now live
Jody earlier this week is convinced that, you know, this
conspiracy thing where we say something and then all of
a sudden, poof it shows up and you know what
is it?

Feet shows It's not really conspiracy, that's the wrong word
to me for it, but it's marketing. And I am
convinced now because it's happened to me that whenever I'll
start talking about something for us, it was crocs. We
talked about your you losing your your crocs at the
beach once, what a tragedy, sayings, and I'd never googled it.

I've never looked it up. And then all of a sudden,
I started getting Crocs ads just based on us discussing that.
And I've heard from friends of mine who's like my
husband was talking about, you know, the Hawaiian sweet rolls,
and all of a sudden, I started getting ads for it.
And I just feel like there's something to that that
people are able to and there's some sort of marketing
thing that you're hearing what you're saying.

You call that a marketing thing, but that really is
Maybe conspiracy is the wrong word. It's big bud brother,
that's what. I just don't buy into this. And I'm
even more surprised that Sam is kind of like bought
into it now, because I don't think that anybody nobody's
listening in on your computer.

We were talking about cracker barrel and they started popping
up on mine, and you know, I have no reason
to google or look for cracker barrel.

on the show, then it's probably showing up in your
personal feeds. That's what I'm thinking.

playroom forever and somewhere. Over this past weekend this became
a game of Thrones. Dragon it is Sony went upstairs
and all the sudden, it's it's a representation of the show.
And you've never been into this.

I've never been well, I've always read fantasy. I'm all
about fiction that I want things that I can't put down.
So I'm reading the books too. But the show is
you know, I guess I don't discriminate. I'm not going
to say no to a show because of a dragon.
And it's one of the best shows I've ever watched,
and it's exciting.

Have you considered a name yet, because we have some suggestions.
If you haven't officially name, I haven't. I want suggestions.
I don't want to just be typical and name him Drogon. Okay, well,

Live and you don't know producer David and Jody are
fanatical about Game of Thrones. Jody and I are in
sync on literally everything in our life together except Game
of Thrones. I got through season one and I just
and it's not. Look cinematically, I agree, it's beautiful. And
I watched the big scene from what the second episode,
the train one battle. No spoilers here, but anyway, so

I watched that one with you, and I get it.
But you know, Sam and I just kind of like, okay,
when they're visiting over Game of Thrones.

That's okay. I mean we're not supposed to be in
sync on everything either. I don't think that's normal. And
we're not in sync on technology either.

like to point out over my shoulder here, I saw that, Hey,
my bright flowers.

That's what Sam spay his time on going to the
grocery store bringing home flowers. Flowers for one.

I saw some supermarket flowers this week and thought, of you.
We learned this week, in case you missed it, that
Sam loves to buy grocery store flowers and put them
in the house. And I said, dude, put that on
your Facebook I'm sorry, on your dating profile now, which.

I no longer have. I usually like the white plain
white ones or yellow ones. Because these these are dyed,
I know, and you know it starts to fill.

You don't think you need to dye flowers. I think
that nature's colors are perfect.

This blue flowers don't occur. Well, I guess some blue flowers.

So the other thing that we're all prepared for, you know,
going into the weekend here is Monday is the big
solar eclipse. Yeah, the total eclipse, and so Sam is
really sort of our astronomy geek. Dude, you got that right.

Astronomy and so you know between the what glasses to
buy and whatnot, because that was a really weird big
deal this week to recall glasses and people saying no,
don't buy these kind I don't know what the trust now,
So I will not be looking at the sun at
all with anything, even if I had the one that
was recommended, I just don't.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yeah, I think there's enough fun stuff to look at,
but that's you know, your call, it's person. That's a
personal choice.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
But also fun out. You can go to the library.
A lot of libraries are handing out free glass and
that's good. That's a safe one while they last, of course, right, yeah, cool,
but I'm coming up Monday.

Sam's gonna let us know that, don't right, that don't
what obviously don't look into the sun, don't work directly
on it. But also with the animals, what animals in general.

Do you remember any of the previous eclipses. I know
that the one that they get focused on is like
one from the seventies. I don't remember that one obviously,
but there was one when I was a sophomore in
high school. There was one in May and and so
I built this like a little contraption.

Yeah, I know. It had it had a you know,
a little milar thing, and then I had, you know,
something to put over my the lens of my camera
to take pictures with it. I think it sounds like

the box and I never could get to work. It
was supposed to be the exact projection of the sun,
you know, in the eclipse, and but that was none

of that was the cool thing to me. It was
cool as the sky almost kind of turned brown. It

I do remember there being one, but I don't remember
caring about it back then.

Yeah, and I think too. If you were a kid,
then it depends on if your parents cared about it. It
depends on if it was you know, talked about in

Yeah, I know mine didn't, right mine. My parents were

like a Grimlin. That's where I was getting there.

Well in the second Grimlins movie, one of them got

I have an update on Emily. Well, see, she and
I are still in touch. She texts me some you
know sometimes. She moved and Sam, well, we were girlfriends.
We talked about big life things and she does love y'all.
You know that. I know that she moved into the
new house. She moved into her parents' house. She bought that.
When it is, it's bigger than any any of my

friend's houses. She has a lot of room now. She
works from home. She's got the boys growing and they're
in school, like Jake is in pre or kindergarten or
something like that. And she and I were supposed to
have dinner soon together. Good and we keep missing each other,
but we're supposed to have a girl, so.

We miss her. But you know what I mean, she
made the right call for her kids. In the ages,
you know, we start pretty early in the morning. This
is a you know, a four am deal, and you
have to wake up before that to make it happen.

I saw on Facebook that her son, Jake, learned how
to tie his shoes.

Yeah, and somebody like that school saw him. And I'm thinking, man,

it's not the same thing as knowing how to teach it.

When we were growing up, they were called stinging worms,
and I did step on one. I've never been stung
by a wasp or be only.

Sure, yeah, we used to play with those. Unfortunately, our
dogs would eat a couple of those. That was one
of the most traumatic events ever for our oldest daughter, Taylor,
who was about four at the time. She walked up
to our oldest boxer, Chevy and it was trying to
show him what a cute little fuzzy caterpillar and.

She was upset, ran in the house crying.

long way with my candles, because I've been burning like
these three beautiful fall smelling candles in the house because

weekend because it was our oldest daughter, Taylor's birthday, sixteen.

I'm excited because this weekend I'm going home again, but
it's because I got to take my oldest niece's bridle
pictures because the last time I tried to go there,

Did you decide that she's gonna be in her wedding
dress and he's going to see her in the wedding
dress before it's just.

It's just her. It's going to be just her pictures.
So when they go into the reception, they're gonna have,

This whole photography on the side thing. I mean, I
don't cheer anymore. So that's how you used to make
my extra cash doing a little private lessons. So now

A friend senior portraits and they were great.

Actually, last night I went and helped took some pictures
for my friend. You needed some headshots for work. Nice
that worked out well.

got a new bike yet new motorcycle.

That's right, because this was stolen a couple of months ago,

The one thing, since we're on Facebook right now live
Jody earlier this week is convinced that, you know, this
conspiracy thing where we say something and then all of
a sudden, poof it shows up and you know what

Feet shows It's not really conspiracy, that's the wrong word
to me for it, but it's marketing. And I am
convinced now because it's happened to me that whenever I'll
start talking about something for us, it was crocs. We
talked about your you losing your your crocs at the
beach once, what a tragedy, sayings, and I'd never googled it.

I've never looked it up. And then all of a sudden,
I started getting Crocs ads just based on us discussing that.
And I've heard from friends of mine who's like my
husband was talking about, you know, the Hawaiian sweet rolls,
and all of a sudden, I started getting ads for it.
And I just feel like there's something to that that
people are able to and there's some sort of marketing
thing that you're hearing what you're saying.

You call that a marketing thing, but that really is
Maybe conspiracy is the wrong word. It's big bud brother,
that's what. I just don't buy into this. And I'm
even more surprised that Sam is kind of like bought

and all the sudden, it's it's a representation of the show.
And you've never been into this.

I've never been well, I've always read fantasy. I'm all
about fiction that I want things that I can't put down.
So I'm reading the books too. But the show is
you know, I guess I don't discriminate. I'm not going
to say no to a show because of a dragon.
And it's one of the best shows I've ever watched,

of Thrones. I got through season one and I just

I watched the big scene from what the second episode,
the train one battle. No spoilers here, but anyway, so

But you know, Sam and I just kind of like, okay,
when they're visiting over Game of Thrones.

buy and whatnot, because that was a really weird big

Yeah, I think there's enough fun stuff to look at,

new house. She moved into her parents' house. She bought that.

friend's houses. She has a lot of room now. She
works from home. She's got the boys growing and they're

have dinner soon together. Good and we keep missing each other,

When we were growing up, they were called stinging worms,
and I did step on one. I've never been stung

Sure, yeah, we used to play with those. Unfortunately, our
dogs would eat a couple of those. That was one
of the most traumatic events ever for our oldest daughter, Taylor,
who was about four at the time. She walked up
to our oldest boxer, Chevy and it was trying to
show him what a cute little fuzzy caterpillar and.

She really emphasized it's gonna be a fun The first
one I knew, the second one I knew them.

I do know them anyway. The second one I knew
better than any of the others, and she like fresh flowers.
I remember that. Did she bring that into your life?
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Honestly, I don't remember. Yeah, you said that before, but
I honestly, do not remember you, Just.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Like the flowers. Because the flowers, I.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Mean, they they they feel good in the house.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
You know what I'm obsessed with in the house right now,
and I always have been as candles. Yeah, and when
I'm first married, mister safety over here, I remember the
first day he came home, went, you're burning that right now,
like for no reason. I'm like, for the reason of
it's gorgeous and it smells great. But You've come a
long way with my candles, because I've been burning like
these three beautiful fall smelling candles in the house because

I can't wait for pumpkins.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
It's all good until she remembers when the four of
us are out, you get the girls, we're headed to dinner,
She's like, and then that frozen moment of one left
burning at.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Home doesn't happen very loll.

I used to have candles around the house. Now I
keep them, and the ones I have are in the
bathroom like the tea lights, so that whenever I'm in
the tub again.

Oh my gosh, we got.

Flowers and star wars.

You need to break out your trolls soon.

Shandon says, I've been married twenty three years and he
still brings me flowers just because that's grats.

the table thing. Sam, I know you have the kids.

Some of them. Yeah, Parker's at away at school. I
got Maddie, I got Jackson.

Oh, you won't have Parker.

Then, no, I got Parker's got a He's at school
for a month before I can get him. I'll get
hi later day weekend I forgot. Okay, won't get a
speeding ticket this time, promise nice.

I'll warn you about that. Speeding through it in a
national park is a federal offic Yes, and it costs.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Five hundred dollars.

I'm excited to let you know, Murphy that we're not
over scheduled this weekend.

I mean, it's funny about anytime we have a weekend
like that, life finds away because I'll end up being
busy running.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
The road Jurassic Park.

I find life finds away, parent, Life finds a way
to get you busy, I guess, is what I meant
to say. But I know, well, you know there's a
sleepover plan. Taylor's going to go hang out with the friends.
But there's a lot going on, but there's nothing hard
set point.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
It's good. Well, I mean, last weekend was a big
weekend because it was our oldest daughter, Taylor's birthday, sixteen.
But you know, I mean that's the best thing about
school being back in is Man. When the routine gets
going again, it just it feels like it's easier to me.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
I love the routine for them. They need it, we
all do.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
I'm excited because this weekend I'm going home again, but
it's because I got to take my oldest niece's bridle
pictures because the last time I tried to go there,
we got rained out, so we had to, you know,
reschedule it.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Did you decide that she's gonna be in her wedding
dress and he's going to see her in the wedding
dress before it's just.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
It's just her. It's going to be just her pictures.
So when they go into the reception, they're gonna have,
you know, big canvases of her and her wedding dress
all around where nice.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
So, David, is this going to go into like a
portfolio and you're gonna start.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
This whole photography on the side thing. I mean, I
don't cheer anymore. So that's how you used to make
my extra cash doing a little private lessons. So now
I'm dabbling in photography and I really like it. Actually,
did you get.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
A friend senior portraits and they were great.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Actually, last night I went and helped took some pictures
for my friend. You needed some headshots for work. Nice
that worked out well.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah, Australia, Bailey, Australia. John wants to know if you
got a new bike yet new motorcycle.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
That's right, because this was stolen a couple of months ago,
he says, I wish the answer is I still see.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
It around town? Bailey? Is it still No?
Speaker 3 (23:02):
And there was no doubting it was his because we
learned that his bike was painted bright yellow. It's like
you can't hide that unless you painted.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
