Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the after the show bonus podcast for DASH
for Game of Throners. Oh sorry, guys, just listen and
enjoy and make fun as I know you will.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Producer David y'all already. I'm so round, I'm ready, but
I'm a little upset. This is our last time to
do a recap.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
While the good news is Sunday night was the last
time I'll have to hear this.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
That's not true.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
My favorite music, Okay, so look, Also, this is what's
crazy to me. On Sunday before Game of Thrones came
on the season seven finale, I was on the phone
with my cousin Candace, who lives in Houston, had left
because of Harvey, and you're staying in Brian College station.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Still right right down here. Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
We were on the phone talking about your family, about
the flood, about your fears, and then you.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I wasn't gonna say anything, and you said what.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Oh, I started talking about the finale and my prediction.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Right man, you are serious, Throny. You have to join
us for the podcast. So Candace is with us too, David.
There's nobody more serious about Game of Thrones than Candace.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Hey, Sam, For the first time, we're out numbered. Now
they are a three Game of Thrones.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Sorry about you, two people who still don't kid so much.
I want to talk about Let's first talk about Danny's
arrival to the meeting on the dragon of course, so epic.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
It was like she just stepped down like she was
stepping down from an airplane?

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Was she was?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
She looking hot as ever?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Of course she's the mother of dragons, she's goalgeous. What
happened to a little Oh if anybody listening, if you
haven't seen this finale, you're about to get major spoilers. Okay,
say that what happened to little Finger is exactly what
it should have happened, was it not?

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Yes, I'm still it's very confusing, but I'm glad it
worked out the way it did. Like, I'm so confusing
how they knew this was going on, or like they
didn't really show the hole?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I think they wanted to kind of put us in
the spot of little Finger though as well, like not
knowing what's happening and thinking that he's still in control
and doing his thing. But then, of course Bran is Google,
so brand knows everything.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
I want to go watch it at my old roommate's house,
because that's he's the one that got me started on
the show years ago, and so I was like, oh,
it's fitting. Let's let's go finish the season finale together together.
And as of course, he's rewatching last week's episode. So
we're watching it and he tells me, he's like, yeah,
I heard this on going back to rewatch it. Anytime
they show little Finger, like, you can hear you know,
Ravens in the background and they think it's brands and

(02:31):
spying on him the whole time. Oh, it's like and
so every scene he's in, you hear Raven every now
and then.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I'm like, you see, guys, Murphy and Sam, this is
why we love this show. It is so ridiculously intelligent.
There's so much there. In fact, it's the best rebinge
show of all time.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I mean ild that I did get to see the
big battle scene. Yeah, I mean I know that.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
That's a couple of episodes back. Oh you saw which
battle sceneed you mean.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Murph, Well, the one where the dragons came in, you know, And.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
That's been a couple of from now.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
From then, I get that. What I'm saying is I've
seen some of the big points of the you know show,
and I skipped these six years in between.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Okay, do we need it?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So good?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
It's so good to rebinge too, because there's so much
foreshadowing that you don't until you go back and then
you go, oh, it's right there the whole time.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
You kidding me?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
You know?

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I thought Friends was that same way with Ross and Rachel.
But that's another TV show altogether.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Certainly not as deep the watching something in season five
the other day where that old man who was at
the wall, the old targarian manh Yeah, he was saying
he was talking to Samuell Tarley and he said, oh,
it's a sad thing, a targarian alone in the world.
And he was talking about Denaris. He said, it's a
sad thing, a targarian alone in the world. And he
walks in right then John Snow. I mean, it's like,

(03:44):
oh my gosh, chill bumps. Do we need to talk
about John and Danny because I think we did.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Okay, it looks like they're going to whether or not
we think they do.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
So.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Don't come a knock in.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I have friends in the family, have a friend who
does not like that. And doesn't want to watch anything.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I love them. Both are my two favorite characters, but
actually like seeing its like, I don't know if I'm
on board for that.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
They don't know they were to bring Murphy and Sam
up to speed. They don't know they're related.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
They got it. They just got it on big time,
like cousins.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah. You know what was funny is that that scene
came on right after Jamie walked away from Sirce, So
I was like, well, I guess if that's done, they
got to bring this, Yeah, got to bring this to it.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's gross, but then again, it's fantasy people. We're talking
about peoples.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
I was really thinking the Clack game battle was going
to be last night, and it was. Yeah, I thought
that was it. The set up when they first went
up to each other, like, this is it finally.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
And Sam is so shaking his ECE has got to
be a Saturday Night Live skit in here.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
So actually I think there already has been, right, Yeah,
there's the Samuel L. Jackson recap of the entire series.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Right.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
You know what the skid is all of me being
completely unaware of what you've been talking about with Star
Wars for decades it's the same thing. It's just role
reversal here. Anyway, I have one little other thing to add.
I say, there's one major thing that happened.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Oh the breathing ice.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Was it.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Blue fire?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Okay, whatever it is is explosive and it knocked the
wall down.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Is what happens when a white walker dragon appears?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yes, and I have one thing.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I have a question for Canvas and producer David. This
is the last thing I promise guys. Tirian lurking outside
of the room where John and Danny were rocking things?
Huh do you mean does that mean he's jealous? Does
that mean he's concerned that? What did we think that
means anything?

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I didn't think because about you know, dipping your pen
into company in type deal problem like the boss getting
in automatically. Yeah, yeah, him and Sercy that seem terian
and Sercy was so like raw and it was so
emotion It's been a long time coming.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
But I'm wondering if he's the press that was promised,
because we think he might be a little targarian too,
and he's yeah, because with.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
The mom and uh, you know, the mag Anyway.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
It was so good. I'm definitely watching again this week.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Did y'all hear absolutely the rumor about next year. I'm
not making a joke.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
You're about to make a joke.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
No, is this according to Sam or a real story.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
I've read in a couple of places that the show
runners or whoever it is that they are in charge,
they saying that next season to be in the last
each of the episodes may be like movie Lane.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
It should be by by me.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah, because I think there's only going to be six,
right instead of even, so I think it's even shorter.
But the episode is going to be longer.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Good, bring the longer. I'd love to see it all
on the big on the big screen.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Oh, that'd be fantastic.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Well me, I'm going to get back to binging in
the rest of Bloodline since we've got four episodes left
with that. John Rayburn on the stand.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
People tents, all right, Thank you, Canvas, of course, thanks
for having me.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Love you, love you.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Any part of the show.
