Speaker 1 (00:03):
Time to get started on this Thursday. And you know,
one of the things that we want to do our
park to help out with this morning is helping out
those who have suffered the hurricane damage now twice in
Puerto Rico.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
And it's it's crazy thatstating.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
It's unbelievably devastating, and you know, there's several reasons where
they're having trouble truly getting all the help that they need,
and there are actually are ways for you to.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Help in a completely different situation.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I still remember hearing the headlines when the hurricane passed
through that the entire island was knock without power. Can
you imagine that, every single person without power? And that's
so that's how you start after that devastation to try
to start to rebuild.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
And then come the floodwaters, and then come the floodwaters
that are horrible. It had been horrible anyway, So we're
going to get to that for you later today, Murphy.
I have to just tell Sam about the sweet, sweet,
sweet thing you said to me last night at nine
to twenty four pm.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
It's so funny.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
It's to have been sweet if you remember the exactly.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
I do, I do, I do? Okay, So we're watching
season three of Narco. Yeah, and man, we watched the
second to last episode last night, really, and at nine
twenty four, I'm like, I'm past my bedtime and we
have one episode left. That's such a hard place to
be because I'm really and Murphy's like, you know, he
looks at me with these bags under his eyes.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
We can watch it, he really want And the second
to last episode is so.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
It was, yeah, stressful.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
So we have one episode left and he's I'm crawling
into the bed under the covers and he's standing there like,
we can really watch it if you want to, because
you know I want to watch it.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I'm like, I'm sorry, we can't. I've got to sleep.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, you know, we have to get up early. So
we have one episode left and so much going on
for the rest of this week, like tonight and tomorrow night.
I don't know, it might be the weekend before we
watched the finale.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
So offering to watch the last episode last.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Night so sweet because you needed rest and I need
to sleep, but you know how badly I want to
watch it.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
But that was so sweet to me.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
But kicks in, Well, you know, it's not really show.
It's really only like forty eight minutes. Yeah, it could.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
And Murphy had had a day yesterday when he worked
non stop. What I'm saying is I know how tired
you were, and for you to offer that Brownie points, Babe,
Brownie points.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Well, sex good show.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Maybe tonight's our night. Then I don't know so much.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Going on, so we'll see, we'll see, all right.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Coming up this hour, ways you can reach out now
and help the people of Puerto Rico and why it's
been so rough. You may have heard some of this,
but we'll get into it for you and where you
can donate. Coming up, Hollywood, We've got your first look
at John Travolta as John Gottie. The movie's coming soon, Unreal,
(02:44):
say all about it.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Next, Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Okay, Murphy. When we watched The People Versus O. J.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Simpson on well, not FX, I think we watched it
on Netflix, we had a hard time getting used to
John Volta as Robert Shapiro exactly. I mean, I'm sorry,
John Travolta, especially with as much as our girls love
Grease will be Danny Zuko forever.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
That's cool, baby, I mean, you know how it is
rode In and whatnot. But he's made a good job
as Robert Shapiro. When you finally get used to the eyebrow,
he talked.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
To us, I'm telling you and wait, get ready for more,
being in awe of what John Travolta can actually do.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
You know when in character awesome.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
There's a movie out do in December called Gotti, where
he plays John Gotti.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
I'll tell you some New York is the greatest, saying, oh,
well my city. I was a kidney streets and I
made it to the top. I made my bones doing
a piece of work for Don Carlo Gambing.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
You cannot believe how authentic this looks. It's crazy to
Robert Shapiro.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
It does not. Anyway.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Rolling Stone did this whole article about Wow, he transformed
himself into John Gottie.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
They called him teflon don.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
It's it's due out in December. It chronicles his life
from growing up in New York City, has rise to
power to becoming whatever head of the whole family. Yeah,
and then I guess his end the demise. I guess too,
So look for that. It's out in December. I knew
it was so soon.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
You can get over thinking it's Danny Zuko. Maybe you'll
enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
I also wanted to let you know Martin SCORSESEI and
Leonardo DiCaprio are teaming up again, Murphy for another mafia
actually know, for a biopic about Teddy Roosevelt, Oh, Theodore Roosevelt.
They're going to produce it together. And who do you
think is gonna star? Leonard Leonardo DiCaprio.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
He's gonna have the little cool round glasses on.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
He's good whatever he has to do.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
I don't know much about Teddy Roosevelt.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Well, there you go.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I walk softly and carry a big stick.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Well in the actually him and I want to say
National Parks, and we have National Park and have him
to thank for a National Parks.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
So that's what I don't kill about five minutes.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
No, and there's always more to know anything.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Martin scorre says. He touches turns to gold, so it'll
be great.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
He's not going to be it's not going to be
a violent, hopefully movie right up to date.
Speaker 7 (05:17):
Boys, Jody's Hollywood outsider.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I just love hearing from you jump in anytime. In fact,
we're going into the producer's mail bag. Next, what do
we have, David?
Speaker 8 (05:24):
Yeah, Carmen wrote into the producer's mail bag because she
made Sam slow cooker ribs, but they came out the
opposite of what she was expecting.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
HW hearing from you, that is absolutely our favorite thing.
So call us anytime, put us in your speed dial
eight seven seven three one oh four msj call her
text set number anytime, or of course, reach out to
us on Instagram or Facebook.
Speaker 7 (05:47):
Murphy's Sam and Jody. The producer's mail.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Bag called speed dial anymore? Is it's like favorites my
spak it's a favorite.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Theoretically that would be a favorite. Just checkond But you know,
I mean so if you want to say Murphy Jo as.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Your favorite, fun sounds bad? Okay, David, what's in the
mailbag today?
Speaker 8 (06:05):
Well, as you guys know, it's slow cooker week. Yes,
yesterday was Sam's honey garlic slow cooker ribs honey garlicee. Yeah,
and Carmen left a comment because she tried on herself.
She says, this is for Sam. I heard you mentioned
your slow cooker ribs. They sounded so good that I
had to try them myself.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (06:22):
My husband was a bit leery but o MG, they
were so good nice with the one teaspoon of salt
and the soy sauce. We thought they would be salty,
but they were completely the opposite. So thank you for sharing. Sam.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yeah, if you need to cut back on the salty
can because soy sauce is salty, it is.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, naturally.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I wondered if her husband was leary because it was
Sam's recipe or just.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
The cooker, or maybe just because you know, some people
feel like ribs need to be on the grill.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
That's true, that's true.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Right, this is slow cooker rib this is I don't
want to go outside ribs.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Thank you, Carmen.
Speaker 8 (06:54):
Jody, I don't think you realize this, but you are
helping young minds read out there, I hope. So yesterday
you posted this little picture on her Instagram and Facebook
page of a quote that says, I have more love
than you have eye rolls, mom.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
So true.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
That's a carpool meme. I have more love than you
have iyerols.
Speaker 8 (07:10):
Lisa left to comment on it. She said, currently was fighting.
What was fighting with my daughter about reading? I sat
down and this picture popped up on my newsfeed. Perfect timing, Jody,
I told her I told my daughter about it. She
smiled and now she is reading. Ah, she didn't know
what to say. Do the eyeroll love thing? Good Lisa,
I'm glad And back to Sam. Now that you're online dating,
(07:31):
Helen has a question. She says, how do you determine
who is actually being real and dating sites? Because I've
tried them on many occasions and always end up deleting
them myself.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
I think a lot of it is looking at the pictures,
you know, sadly it's not superficial completely, but then you
read what their post is and what they're looking for.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Right, and trust your gut. Maybe yeah, you can kind of.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Read between the lines on some people that Okay, this
is not what it's supposed to be or this person
really is sincere.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Doesn't seem right. Yeah, trust your gut, Helen, Thank you
for that. We love hearing from you. Reach out anytime
online Facebook or Instagram.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
Sam has music news.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Oh, David and Jody, this is just for you some
great concert news for you Game of Thrones fans.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Ew Sam's got music.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
News our Game of Thrones fans in here joy producer David,
did you know that there was a Game of Thrones
Concert Tour.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
No.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, apparently earlier this year there was a short one
that went over like Gangbusters. So next year there's gonna
be a worldwide and American Game of Thrones tour. The
guy that wrote the theme song this time and wrote
most of the music for Game of Thrones.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I'm there.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I'm listening to all this big, beautiful, powerful music.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Am I seeing anything?
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yes, it's kind of like the one they do for
Star Wars where they go out and they show you
different clips of the movies and sound effects and all
that stuff. N So you'll have different highlights from the
movie be playing. Plus they'll be flames and all kinds
of stuff going on while the music is playing.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Ooh, dragons maybe, yeah, that'd be cool.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
So this is really more like a symphony that you're
going to than a rock concert.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Of course, it sounds like it might be pushing the
rock concert, you know.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Yes, it's a very powerful to use technician. David, would
you go, Yes, I'm actually thinking dress like a moment.
If I went, I definitely have to dress up for that.
Oh oh yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Got some Targarians in the audience tonight.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
I probably wouldn't dress up, but I'd go, Yeah, it
wasn't taking it that far, David, But well no, I
love it that you'd do that. In fact, he would
dress up and he'd win.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
The US part of that tour is going to be
next fall, so excellent. I'll let you know about tickets
as we get a little closer. You see, Aerosmith had
to cancel some of their tour dates because of Steven Tyler.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
I was listening to them the other day, cranking it
before carpool, and I was thinking, Man, what a classic
American band like. It's going to be sad when they're
no more.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Unexpected medical issues is all they're putting it out. As
he says, Steven said, it's not life threatening, but it's
something he has to take care of immediately. All right,
I'll know exactly what that is, but you know.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
He doesn't want anybody know, and that's okay.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
They are getting up there in years. Maybe it involved
dancing around the stage, who knows h And also to
find out that pit Bull is donating his private jet
to a help cancer patients in Puerto Rico.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
There's so many of those hospitals are not back up right,
and he's so he sent his jet down there, they
pick up the patients, they bring him here to the
US so that they can can continue to get their
cancer treatments.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
And all that kind of stuff. He's made a couple
of runs so far.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Can you imagine what Pitbull's private plane is like. I mean, really,
I wonder what the weight of the stewardess is like there,
not for the cancer patients, the children.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
Sam all right, Mercy Sam Jody Music News.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Speaking of it, coming up next, how you can help,
how we can all help the people of Puerto Rico,
but also why it's been so different, such a different storm,
and so much harder to get the aid going.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
We'll do that next.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I'm gonna make sure we made some time this morning
too to help out those in Puerto Rico. And you're
probably wondering when Hurricane Maria's smashed through there being an island.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, We've got a list created at Murphy Salmon Jody
dot com of things that you can do right now.
And I want to say the UNISEFF one I like
that when ninety percent of the donations they're going to
focus straight to children of Puerto Rico right now. There
are a few reasons why it's so different. It's more
than a week away since this happened, and they're still
not getting the aid that they need.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Slowly but surely they are.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
But number one, because it's an island, Okay, you can't
just you know, all the the utility trucks that usually
just go across state lines to help can't do that.
The infrastructure was already you know, struggling in good times.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, there were some financial roads and things like that.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Well, and the thing is, with so many things damaged
during the hurricane, the things that would normally be stored
on the island that could do you know, some of
this work, it all has to be brought in.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
And quite honestly, FEMA was already before Maria made landfall,
already tax you.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Know what, I don't know that there's ever been a
time in our US history where well, I mean, FEMA
has not been around as as long as the whole
US has, obviously, but tackling two significant hurricanes over a
large part of the United States and then having a
third hit at the same time.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Right their families across our country looking and sending messages
out to Puerto Rico.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
I have not heard from my grandmother since Hurricane Maria.
Speaker 7 (12:29):
Would give anything I could to hear my dad's voice,
just to know that he's okay.
Speaker 9 (12:33):
That's all.
Speaker 7 (12:34):
I just want to hear him.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
It would mean the world to me to hear my
son's voice.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
We're just really hoping to hear back from them as
soon as we can.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Mom.
Speaker 9 (12:42):
We love you, we miss you, and we hope you're safe.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I want you to know too.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
And you've probably heard about this already, like Marc Anthony
stepping in Pitbull, I'm talking about pit Bull of donating
his planes to get cancer patients out, to get them
to US hospital so they can continue to get their
chemo treatments. Mark Anthony made an announcement yesterday that there
is more a coming.
Speaker 10 (13:00):
Even hearing those stories in my ear just I mean
just it breaks my heart and this is a reality.
So the announcement is that we have formed an alliance
called Somos Unavos with a major announcement coming up in
the next week. If anybody's listening, just know that we're coming.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
That means probably a major benefit coming and you can
expect his ex wife Jennifer Lopez to be a part
of that because he was one of the first celebrities
to step up and give a million dollars on Sunday
of this week. Ways that you can help the children
of Puerto Rico, the people of Puerto Rico right now.
You can get links now at Murphysamon Jody dot com.
Coming out Hollywood, some really good personal news for Jennifer Lopez.
(13:45):
And it looks like we have our official halftime performer
for the super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Let's get right to it. It looks like looks like
Justin Timberlake will be our headlining super Bowl halftime performer.
He's done it before, if you remember, in two thousand
and one, he was part of an ensemble with like
Aerosmith and Britney Spears, and then in two thousand and
four was the big one for him with Janet Jackson.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah, the one that supposedly got him banned for life.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
I think that's been long enough. I know it was
an accident, ridiculous. He's come a long way, he's grown up,
and he can headline a super Bowl halftime performance without
anyone else. And there's nobody's commenting, but apparently they're really
close to him signing on and nobody else just justin
no surprise, just justin no surprise performers.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
You know there'll be one or two surprises.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah, i'd like that, but I don't. I don't need
him to share the stage with a bunch of people.
But if he can totally do it, and well, so
we're excited about that. Moving on to Jennifer Lopez. Good
news for her. She's been searching for her relatives in
Puerto Rico. That's not the only reason she stepped up
and donated a million dollars for rescue efforts there, but
(15:04):
she's for six days they've been looking for their lost
family and they found them last night.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Her aunt and uncle are doing fine.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Sent a video to j lob expressing their generosity for
sending the search committee and for all.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
That she's doing.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Right still only like ten percent of cell phone towers
operational on that island right now. Yeah, so slowly but
surely people are finding their families and it's it's lovely.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
It's still not too long, not solved in all last
relief efforts still needed.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's going to be such a long recovery.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
And at the age of ninety one, Hugh Hefner died
of natural causes at his Playboy mansion yesterday.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Now, what exactly are natural causes for Hugh Heffner.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
It's still natural causes, Sam, You're just wondering. Coming up
in your next Hollywood Outsider at seven fifty five, John
Travolta has a new movie coming out, and it's John
Travolta like you've never seen him before, even more strange
than that O. J. Simpson crime series.
Speaker 7 (16:03):
Up to date with Jdy's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Get the links at Murphy Salmon Jody dot Com on
how you can help those who are still trying to
rebuild early early on after the destruction Hurricane Maria in
Puerto Rico.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, full list, Murphy Samonjody dot Com all this. Also
this week, it's a slow cooker week around here. Carmen
emailed us in the Producer's mail Bag that she made
your honey garlicky slow cooked ribs. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
It was a little doubt in her husband's mind before
trying those, but everything worked out just great.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
I guess because dudes think of ribs on a grill.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Yeah, way, yeah, Because there's times I've come across recipes
where you do stuff in the oven and it's like, yeah,
but it's yeah, ribs, it's the grill.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
As much of a cook as I am, I don't
do ribs, so I'm gonna try yours, Murph, we'll do
that this weekend.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Okay, to try those?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
They sound awesome.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, there's five recipes online.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
If you've never done much slow cooking, or if you
just need something else to slow cook, you drop it
in the morning. It's ready when you get home. So
usually that means all day on low.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
And it smells so good too.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
You know what I use the slow cooker for. Also,
and this is not on the website, but you can,
I mean anybody can do this. When you have chicken
in the fridge and you don't want to have to
deal with it when you get home, you drop it
in the slow cooker, You season it, you put a
pad of butter on top of each piece. You just
cook it all day like that low and you have
the chicken ready when you get home. Do what with
(17:29):
it what you need to, Like, we've made chicken salad
with that before. Yeah, we've made soups with that before.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
You've yes, so easy, grab a four and just eat
it straight at the crock pot.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah, you can do that.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Too, Murphy. You don't do that, do you when you're looking?
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Anyway, slow cooker. We get the five recipes, and you
know what, send us yours. Let us know what you do.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Do you use the liners?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
I don't. I've seen them, do you, Sam?
Speaker 4 (17:58):
No, I've had people I know that use them. But
it makes clean up easier, right, No, but they just
it's just something about it.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Touch it with your hand.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
I don't know. I just and it doesn't take that
much to clean a crockpot anymore.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
I've been cooking in a slow cooker for a long time,
and I think my mom taught me a long time ago.
But I have a friend who can't understand it. She's like,
don't you need to add water. I'm like, no, you'll
water it down. Don't add water.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I've had some things dry and crockpots though over the years,
and this depends. Yeah, well you, I mean, you do
add things to it. It's just not water.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
No, it's not water, it's other stuff. All right, Go
get the recipes. Coming up later this hour. By the way,
we're going to take you to the Costco wedding. It
did happen a Costco wedding and some of the best, biggest,
most popular places to have weddings these days, it's different.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
This will surprise you, guys. We're going to do that
later this hour. Coming up next with Murphy Salm and Jody.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
I've discovered why I need to let my daughter Mattie
spend more one on one time with my mom.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Sam, looking for something good to read? Check out our
Not So Serious Book Club. There's always a lot of
good recommendations there. I'm reading it by Stephen King several
years late, but I wanted to know what all the
hooplaws about.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Don't want to see the movie.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
It's scary.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
There's some scary parts, of course, but it's a really
good book.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
It's interesting to me that that's so different. Same story,
but like movie you won't do, but the book you will.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Well, I just want to do the book first. I
need to know what I'm in for, scary clowns, what
you're in because I can close a book. I don't
want to walk out on a theater experience.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Well, I agree with you on that too.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
The other day this past weekend, I had my belated
birthday party. My son Jackson, and Sam and my mom
picked up Mattie at her house and brought her up
to the party. That's sweet came up and then they
went home together afterwards. But I was talking to Mattie
on the phone last night and she said, you know,
I really did have a good time writing with Mimi.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
First of all, I'm thinking, uh.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Oh, what did me me tell her?
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Yeah, because my mom is really old school, so she'll
get into some of those old stories that I've heard
a million times.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
And you know that, kids, I mean kids love that
though your your children love to hear the stories from Grandma.
I know I did as a kid.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Or even if they don't know, they love it. They
need it.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Right because it's a connection to something special and it's
kind of like this little time transport thing.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
I think the things that got her the most were
when she started talking about your daddy, you know, well,
your daddy this, and your.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Daddy that, your daddy meaning you me.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Yeah. And she did tell Maddie and I've seen the
pictures of this about how how chubby of a child
I was.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Oh, Sam, I'm sorry, I.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Was really really little.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
That's okay.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
You know, we had one of those blow up pools,
you know, the little four foot around.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I'm aware of it.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Yeah, And we've got like thousands of pictures of me
just sitting on there like a bump on a log.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Wow, you know with just you're the oldest. That's why
you have thousands of pictures of you just doing nothing.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
The good news is she didn't show her any of
those pictures because those are all at my mom's house.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Right.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
But she did go tell me because matt Mom, Mimi
says that you were. You were really.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
So your mom doesn't tell that story that she's told
a million times about how she almost died in childbirth.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
No, she wouldn't tell that to Maddie now, I think
she would maybe when Mattie's older.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
She is.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
But isn't that an exaggerated story and not real? It's
just so big that you were.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
My head was so big. They had a choice, My
dad had a choice of me. Whoa my mom looks
everything worked out, Jess.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Find those stories. Maddie needs that. She's probably longing for
that relationship with her grandmother. And where else is she
going to hear stories about you, Sam? Nobody else is
gonna have.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
I ain't gonna tell them.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Coming up next with Murphy's Sam and Jodie eight seven
seven three one zero four m asked, Jay, we love
to hear from you. Ellen is on and wants to
tell you, Murphy that you were correct about scams on
dating websites and look out Sam, that's next.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
It's funny. I am so not qualified to give Sam
any sort of online dating advice just because it's not
something I've ever done, you know, I mean, Judge have
been together for a long time. But when you had
the profile pick disappear on you right as you were
about to respond, Yeah, I really did think that, you
know that that could be a scam or something like that. Yeah,
and so good to be true. Yeah, and so Ellen
(22:16):
actually is is confirming that. Thanks Ellen eight seven seven
three one oh four MSJ.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
You do have to watch.
Speaker 9 (22:22):
Out for scammers because there are people on there that
aren't who they say they are.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (22:28):
So Murphy was right on that. And I would get
the men that would be in way different states, like
really far off from me, and they would be these
hot like firefighter dudes, and it was called the same
type of message that they would send. It was, you know,
(22:51):
I'm I'm looking for that special someone, and it was
kind of like a generic Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
You know, to me, when somebody puts that kind of
effort forth for something that's a sham or whatever you
want to call it, you wouldn't it be better to
put your effort towards something else that's legit. I just
can't understand it, Like how much work has to go
into getting some ladies you know what they're looking for?
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Probably money?
Speaker 9 (23:14):
Yeah, yeah, and you know they may not even be
in the States. I don't know. It may be you know,
they're somewhere else and then they're going to tell you
this sob story and then they're going to get try
to get your money or whatever. But it was it
was very frustrating to have the search and to determine,
you know, who is doing that and is correct and
(23:36):
who is not.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
So your advice to me is to take down my
firefighter pictures.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Right, ask you if you had firefighter pictures, you up
your odds?
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Yeah, probably, So don't be misleading.
Speaker 3 (23:51):

Speaker 4 (23:56):
I have had a few, like Ellen said, from out
of the country, looked at her for you know, basically

Speaker 2 (24:03):
How are those pictures they're enticing, pretty enticing.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Okay, so but those are the ones clearly that an't
armed out right.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Well yeah, uh one can dream, Sam, but sorry, Yeah yeah, yeah,
join us anytime.
Speaker 3 (24:16):

Rico at Murphysaman Jody dot com. See exactly where your

and stories for you.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Yeah, because I'm on two sides plenty of fishymatch dot com.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
All right, casey, what's your story?
Speaker 11 (24:50):
I've actually met my.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Nice.
Speaker 11 (24:54):
There are some very strange people.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Out there, Yeah, I can vouch for that, so you have.
Speaker 9 (24:59):
To be very ca careful.
Speaker 11 (25:00):
But one of the rules that I had always said
is my first date with them was going to be
at lunch.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Nice yes, because I.
Speaker 11 (25:09):
Only had an hour for lunch, and I always as
a female, it's kind of difficult for men to take this.
But if I didn't think it was going to work out,
I paid for lunch. That way, I didn't feel obligated
to have to go out again.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
I feel you, okay, so, but it does work.
Speaker 11 (25:25):
There are some really good people out there. You just
have to weed through the bad ones to find the
good ones. And actually we're getting married next year.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
So Casey, how long were you on Plenty of Fish
before you weeded through and found him?
Speaker 11 (25:42):
About a year, I guess.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
And you'd gone on other dates?
Speaker 11 (25:45):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'd gone on a few dates, a
few lunch dates.
Speaker 9 (25:49):
Yeah, a few lunch.
Speaker 11 (25:51):
Dates, and maybe one or two after work dates or
something like that. But you know, you know very quickly
if they're going to match with you. But you know,
I agree. I didn't take the time to waste the time.
And you know, there was a requirement. You had to
have a job. You needed to be able to support
yourself because I'm not gonna support you. You know, things
(26:12):
like that, and just take take your time and don't
jump into something very quickly because lord knows, I know
it could be the wrong jumping.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Yeah, yes, I know that Sam's been there before.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Yeah, I've jumped a few times too.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
I love you bring up a very good point, you know,
right away, especially when you're sitting across from somebody at lunch.
You either really want to be there and know more
about them or you don't.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Right, Yeah, thank you, Jasey.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
The thing she's talking about is called chemistry. I believe
you either have chemistry with somebody or you don't. You
really can't force it, and.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
You can pick that up in the first five minutes
I think really quickly.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Yeah, I say give it the lunch.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Okay, anytime you want to jump in and join us
eight seven seven three one zero four M s J.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Coming up next with Murphy, Sam and Ja. We'll take
you to a Costco wedding.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
It actually happened at Costco and one of the biggest,
most sought after kind of places to get married.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Very different.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Carman sent us a Facebook message earlier talking about how
much she loves Sam's slow cooked ribs and so this
is slow Cooker Week. Get all the recipes making life
easier for you at Murphy Samanjodi dot com.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
All right, guys, you heard about the Costco wedding. It's
been trending on social media. The Costco wedding happened. It's
not the first time, as the couple that loved to
go to Costco spent a lot of time there, got
married there.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
This is a Costco in Australia though, But.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Seriously, she walked down the aisle where the tires were
and they got married in front of the food court
with one of those arches with the flowers. And then
they had about ninety guests. I mean, Costco's big, so
that they fit them.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Now, we're all these ninety guest members or not.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
I don't think so. They were just invited.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
To get in. They couldn't get in without the note
to get in the door. The wedding couple paid obviously,
or the family of the bride paid, and so.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
But it was affordable because they.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Had pizza from the food court and hot dogs from
the food court, and each person was like ten dollars ahead.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah that everybody hands up.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Yeah. I don't know about the other samples, but it's
in that crazy weird I will tell you this. Talking weddings,
I was visiting with Murphy's sister the other day, My
sister in law and her son is the one who
proposed on the beach.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
We shared that on our Facebook page.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
The rose petals and all that, and you know, got
down on one knee on the beach and all that.
She said, they started looking around for venues and places
to get married, and they ended up the thing now
and it's I guess it's maybe it's pinteresty, maybe it's
just a trend, but getting married in an old barn.
Couples want to get married in these vintage old barn places.
(28:58):
They found a barn your sister, and they went and
toward it that a family built just for a wedding.
The bride was looking for a barn. They couldn't find
one that would work. So they had a piece of
land somewhere Daddy built or a barn, and now they
use it for weddings and they've booked it like thirty
times or something already.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Smart.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Yeah, well, I guess.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Part of the reason for that is it it really
it's sort of a simple feel.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
Maybe, yeah, yeah, although it would have to be a
cleaned out barn.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
I'm telling you, when I grew up, we had a barn.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
You don't need the smells.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
It was beautiful and rustic and all that, but because
it had there was activity.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
There were.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
Smells and things you could step in that you wouldn't
want to bring guests too.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
But it makes for some awesome pictures too.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
I'm assuming someone cleans up the barn before the wedding,
I would hope.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
So, well, yeah, if you're going to rent it out,
you better get the chickens out. Coming out Hollywood, John
Travolta has a new movie coming out soon, and we
got the trailer this week, and my goodness, John Travolta,
like never before, we have that for you.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
Next, Jody's Hollywood Outsiders.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Okay, Murphy, when we watch The People versus O. J.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Simpson on well not FX, I think we watched it
on Netflix. We had a hard time getting used to
John Travolta as Robert Shapiro exactly. I mean, I'm sorry
John Travolta, especially with as much as our girls love
Grease will be Danny Zuko forever.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
That's cool, baby, I mean you know how it is
in what But he's done a good job as Robert Shapiro.
When you finally get used to the eyebrow.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Talked to us, I'm telling you, and wait get ready
for more being in awe of what John Travolta can
actually do. You know when in character. There's a movie
out do in December called Gotti, where he plays John Gotti.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
I'll tell you so, New York is the greatest saying
world my SI. I was at Kidney's Streets and I
made it to the time I made my bondy doing
a piece of work for Don Carlo Gambin.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
You cannot believe how authentic this looks. It's crazy, Robert Shapiro,
it does not.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Anyway.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
Rolling Stone did this whole article about Wow, he transformed
himself into John Gottie.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
They call him teflon Don.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
It's it's due out in December.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
It chronicles his life from growing up in New York City,
has rise to power to becoming whatever head of the whole. Yeah,
and then I guess his end, the demise. I guess too,
So look for that. It's out in December. I knew
it was so soon. You can get over thinking it's
Danny Zuko. Maybe you'll enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
I also wanted to let you know Martin SCORSESEI and
Leonardo DiCaprio are teaming up again, Murphy.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
For another mafia actually.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
Know, for a biopic about Teddy Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
They're going to produce it together.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Her and who do you think is gonna star Leonard
Leonardo DiCaprio.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
He's gonna have the little cool round glasses on.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
He's good whatever he has to do.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
I don't know much about Teddy Roosevelt. Well there you go,
walk softly and carry a big stick.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Well, in the test, the actually came from him.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
And I want to say national parks. I have a
national park and have him to thank for national parks.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
So that's what I'll kill about five minutes. No, and
there's always more to know anything.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Martin Score says. He touches turns to gold, so it'll
be great.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
He's not gonna be it's not gonna be a violent,
hopefully movie.
Speaker 7 (32:34):
Murphy, Sam and Jody, you're Hollywood on.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
The way in your next Outsider at eight thirty this morning.
Looks like Justin Timberlake will be headed to our Super
Bowl halftime show.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Sam.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
One of my girlfriends, her name is MC, called Murphy
back last night and they've made a date. EMC's gonna
come over and spend some time. Mur Well, you made
an appointment.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah. She has an organization in business meaning not an organization,
but she actually organizes you, okay, and so I need
some organizing. Yeah, And this is one of those where,
you know, being the home office and collecting things over
the years, and it's not junk stuff. It's all stuff
I use. I just don't think I have it set
up right. And it's like anything else. If your eyes
(33:19):
are on something forever, you just can't see clearly, you
can't think clearly. So I agree with Jody, it is
time for me to bring in somebody to say, hey,
maybe you should put this here, Maybe you should organize
thee maybe you should take these off the shelf and
put them behind closes.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
I think there's a lot of stuff in your office
man cave studio that you don't use but want to
keep for whatever reason.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
And that is your deal. You can keep anything you
want to keep.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
But you're also standing in the middle of it, Murphy
going like, I can't find anything because there's too much
stuff here, and you know, if you and I try
to do that together, it's just going to be a fight.
Oh yeah, And so I'm like hands in the air,
call her, please call her.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Yeah. You know, the thing is some of it's functional,
but some of it is decoration. Some of it's like
my grandmother's old desk, you know.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
Like electronic. You know you're an electronic.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Well, she's already told me that this is not something
that you know. She's not really you know, it's not
her area of expertise, but she's not afraid to ask
the questions and not afraid to make the recommendation to wait.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
You might wind up throwing some stuff out.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
That's not to me. This is not what this is about.
I guess it could become that.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
I can tell you.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
I think you need to get ready for the questions, Murphy,
have you used this in three years? I think that
that questions coming at you, I'm wrong.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
What about all the porcelain bulldogs you've given me over
the years, and those.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Kind somewhere else. They don't belong in the office, not necessarily.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
I think if you want to see them, I'm all good.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
I'm all fighter to me.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
One dollar All right?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Coming up in a bit your email answered in our
producer's mail bag. We'd love to hear from you on
Facebook and Instagram. Also coming up next, ways that you
can and we all can help the children and families
of Puerto Rico right now, even though it's been tough
to get stuff to them.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
We'll do that next.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
I'm gonna make sure we made some time this morning
too to help out those in Puerto Rico. And you're
probably wondering when Hurricane Maria's smashed through there being an island.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Yeah, we've got a list created at Murphy Samonjody dot
com of things that you can do right now. And
I want to say the uniseuff one. I like that
when ninety percent of the donations they're going to focus
straight to children of Puerto Rico right now. There are
a few reasons why it's so different. It's more than
a week away since this happened, and they're still not
getting the aid that they need. Slowly but surely they are.
(35:41):
But Number one, because it's an island. Okay, you can't
just you know, all the the utility trucks that usually
just go across state lines to help can't do that.
The infrastructure was already you know, struggling in good times.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Yeah, they were some financial roads and things like that.
Speaker 10 (35:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
And the thing is, with so many things damaged to hurricane,
the things that would normally be stored on the island
that could do you know, some of this work, it
all has to be brought in.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
And quite Honestly, FEMA was already before Maria made landfall,
already tax You know what, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
That there's ever been a time in our US history
where well, I mean, FEMA has not been around as
long as the whole US has, obviously, but tackling two
significant hurricanes over a large part of the United States
and then having a third hit at the same time.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
Right there, families across our country looking and sending messages
out to Puerto Rico.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I have not heard from my grandmother since Hurricane Maria.
Speaker 7 (36:34):
Would give anything I could to hear my dad's voice,
just to know that he's okay. That's all. I just
want to hear him.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
It would mean the world to me to hear my
son's voice.
Speaker 5 (36:43):
We're just really hoping to hear back from them as
soon as we can.
Speaker 6 (36:46):
Mom.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
We love you, we miss you, and we hope you're safe.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
I want you to know too.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
And you've probably heard about this already, like Marc Anthony
stepping in Pitbull, I'm talking about pit Bull of donating
his planes to get cancer patients out, to get them
to US Hog Hospital so they can continue to get
their chemote treatments. Mark Anthony made an announcement yesterday that
there is more aid coming.
Speaker 10 (37:05):
Even hearing those stories in my ear, I mean just
it breaks my heart and this is a reality. So
the announcement is that we have formed an alliance called
Somos Unavos with some major announcement coming up in the
next week. If anybody's listening, just know that we're coming.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
That means probably a major benefit coming and you can
expect his ex wife Jennifer Lopez to be a part
of that because she was one of the first celebrities
to step up and give a million dollars on Sunday
of this week. Ways that you can help the children
of Puerto Rico, the people of Puerto Rico right now.
You can get links now at Murphysamonjody dot com.
Speaker 7 (37:45):
Coming up next next, producer David Got the mail Bag.
Speaker 8 (37:49):
What do we have David Well, Candy has some information
about get gos that might make you change your mind
about them.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Jodey, We'll see. We love hearing from you.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Jump in anytime eight seven seven, three one zero four
six seven five. Let us know what good things are
going on in your life. That's one of my favorite
things that you ever share. Also, jump in on Facebook
and Instagram.
Speaker 7 (38:12):
It's shine for the producers.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Nailed David, What's in your bag today?
Speaker 8 (38:16):
Well, earlier this week, Sam, you posted your traditional picture
of you and your kid, of your kids on the couch,
they always take so sofa pick sofa picks. Well, you're
not the only one that is that. Every family has
their own traditions, Melissa sent hers in. She says, I
am horrible about taking pictures throughout the year. So every
fall my family takes a picture of our joined families.
Last year we were able to get six kids together.
(38:38):
Made me so happy. It's great that you're able to
have these photos too of your kids. It's priceless.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Yeah. The first one was when the twins were eighteen
months old and it was just all the kids on
the sofa. There was no order, and ever since then
there's an order that they sit in ye birth order.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
No, it's not.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
And that's what's weird, because it's will Is first, and
then Sammy and then Maddie and.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Phere they're comfortable.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
That's where they sat the first time. But then every
time after that you'll go back into why do I
have to sit on the end? I should sit before
Mattie and I should sit over. It's just like, this
is the way it was done. Everybody sits in the
same spot.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Just do well. Otherwise the pictures don't make a whole
lot of sense through the years, right, I.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Mean right if you want to put them together at
some point, which would be so cool. I've we've done that, Murphy,
but not intentionally, like just getting married. Having children my
fav Some of my favorite pictures Halloween, when the kids
are dressed up. I am going to do a collage.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
We had a front step photo that we always used
to do. We did first day of school pictures.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Everybody does that, Yes, my.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Dad always does. Anytime the family gets together, there's always
the group photo. Before you know he leaves. And he's
always because he uses as timer. He's in it.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
He's so cool too.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
He always walks so slow from the camera to us,
and I'm always like, you're in a misery. I'm getting
nervous that he's not gonna make it. Also, Murphy, we
didn't intend, but family vacation photo is very importan to me,
Like the one good shot of us in the car.
Speaker 8 (40:03):
Yeah whatever, Yeah, I love those. And Jody, your favorite
thing in the World Geckos. Candy left the message. I
don't know if you already know this, but she used
to be stationed in Hawaii, and she says just wanted
to let Jody know that in Hawaiian culture, a get
go in your home is believed to be to bring
good luck and good fortune.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
There you go, well.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Good, we must be loaded with it because I saw
three fat geckos on the way out this morning early.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
I love that. Maybe that'll turn change your mind a little, Jody.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
We'll see as long as they don't jump on me.
Reach out anytime.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
We love to hear from you Facebook or Instagram or
Murphy Samon Jody dot com. Coming up, Hollywood, You're gonna
tell you who's finalizing their deal to headline our next
super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider where it is.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Justin Timberlake is the one and only artist finalizing a
deal to headline the super Bowl All Halftime shown.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
You No, he can do it.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
He was one of the rumored ones a couple months ago.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
He and JJD.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
But it looks like now it'll just be justin Timberlake.
No planned surprise performances yet. Now He's done this before.
In two thousand and one, he was a part of
like an ensemble with Brittany and Aerosmith. I mean I
remember that.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
And then you though.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Two thousand and four, he and Janet Jackson had the
wardrobe malfunction and supposedly he was banned. Give me a break, Yeah,
that was an accident. He's a grown man now and
one of the world's best entertainers.
Speaker 4 (41:35):
He wears a tuxedo on stage. Now.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
I'd like to see him do that, but maybe with
some surprises. Yeah, nobody's confirming it, but it looks like
it's getting finalized now, justin Timberlake to headline the Super Bowl.
Speaker 7 (41:49):
Up to date with Judy's Hollywood Outsider.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Twitter is making a bit of a change, and I
saw this yesterday.
Speaker 4 (41:57):
You know, when you tweet, you have many characters.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
One hundred and forty four, one hundred and forty, one
hundred and forty zero.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Yeah, no, that's why I keep running over. I thought
it was one hundred and forty four. Also, it's four
letters over.
Speaker 4 (42:09):
They've decided and they're trying testing this out with a
few people to increase the limit to two hundred and eighty, right,
you know, and I'm thinking, well, that's good. That'll let
you say a little more. But apparently the diehard Twitter
users are already complaining about.
Speaker 2 (42:22):
It that no Twitter is supposed to be short and sweet.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
Leave well enough alone. It's one hundred and forty characters.
You don't need to expound on anything. You just need
to say what you have to say and be done
with it.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Well, the point of a tweet only being that length
is because text messaging originally was just one hundred and
forty characters among the message. Right, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
I was always wondering why they do.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
Around that guy.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
I don't know that, but I do love the limit
because I believe brevity is our friend.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Yeah, well I was wrong about that. So it's one
hundred and sixty characters on an SMS message. But whatever,
you know?
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Close enough?
Speaker 3 (42:55):
Okay, So the final you know, answer is we're leaving
it at one forty.
Speaker 4 (42:59):
Well, right now, that's one forty for most of us.
It's just a small group that they're testing out with
two eighty to see how they like it.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
Coming up next with Murphy's Sam and Jody.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
All right in one hundred and forty characters, or last
Murphy did the sweetest thing for me last night, precisely
at nine to twenty four PM.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Tell you about it next.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
Murphy did something so sweet for me last night, and
I know that it was precisely at nine twenty four
because it was about time.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Basically, I was.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Wondering how you could be so precise, and I didn't
find this to be overly romantic.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
I did a new sweet gesture when you offered. I
looked over at the clock, thinking, is he crazy? So
we're binge watching season three of Narco's, which is so
good Edge of your Seat. I thought I couldn't like
this show without Pablo Escobar.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
I'm wrong. It's so good this season.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Yeah, and we have one episode left, sam oh one left?
Speaker 1 (43:52):
Yeah, close and in the world of Benjing, And you're like,
could we? Should we? And the reason Jody says nine
twenty four is that's late considering the time we all
start in the morning.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
It is late because I'm supposed to be Look, I
told myself my new rule six months ago is I'm
laying down a sleep eyes closed at nine. So I
was already pushing that and so I'm crawling under the
covers and you're standing there going, you know, if you
really want to we can watch one more the last one.
I'm like, no, I can't do that to myself, so
(44:21):
we have one laugh. But I thought that was so
sweet of you, because Murphy doesn't like to watch more
than one at a time.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
Really, I'll sometimes do a second one, but I can't.
I just can't binge watch more than that. But I
do love our shows together. That's just it's one of
our things, you know. It's fun.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
It's kind of one of those things when you get
down to the last episode.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
It's like, just just do it?
Speaker 4 (44:41):
Do it?
Speaker 2 (44:41):
Would you have done it? Sam? Though nine to twenty
four pm early morning people here.
Speaker 4 (44:51):
Glad to have you along as we get the workday
started coming up in just a bit the After the
Show podcast.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
I want to talk about kids and the eye roll.
I've just started getting the eye roll from kids from
the kids, and it doesn't get under my skin as
much as it did my mom's because I used to
be an eye roller.
Speaker 6 (45:06):
Two.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
But what does get under the skin that's coming up
