Speaker 1 (00:03):
All right, start with a brand new week. So we
hope it is a good week for you. It's gonna
be a big week for my dad by the end
of it. Birthday, yeah's birthdays. Well, it's actually this Sunday,
so technically it would be next week. But so Milestone's
seventy fifth birthday party.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
It's President's Day today.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Yes, it is President's Day.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
So you can celebrate one or all of them.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
It's up to you, right, celebrate yours. Yeah, those things are.
It depends on who you talk to.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, well, I remember we used to get a twofur
on this day because it used to be George Washington's
birthday and Abe Lincoln's birthday. That were the ones that
were observed, and they combined them into one President's Day
and then you know, to acknowledge all presidents.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
So true, and took away a holiday from us.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I can't remember. Did we have this day off from
school when we were growing up? I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
I'm really sure you ever do the thing?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Did your mom ever bring you to school when there
was this day off from school? But she didn't realize it?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Oh no, we are we always there's no one here.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Yeah, I never had that either because we rode the bus.
I can't remember my mom are bringing me to school. Oh,
we rode the bus.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Period.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Do you guys ever have paper drives when you're in school?
What do you mean? Okay, I'm speaking a foreign language.
I don't know what a paper drive is. In public
schools in New Orleans. When I was going to elementary schools,
we had we had paper drives and it was pre recycling, okay,
and we newspaper. Yeah, we'd have a paper drive once
every few months. Bring all your newspapers in, right and

(01:24):
cool you do is you'd bring your papers in and
they had it all lined up on the fence outside
the school. Each teacher had their name on the fence,
and so you would put your stack of papers under
your teacher's name, and so all the kids could watch
who stacked built the rest, and whoever built up the most.
You got some kind of treat for your classroom.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
And then by the end of the day the papers
were all gone, so I guess they took recycle.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
No, not out in the country.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
So back to President's Day. We've got a lot coming
up for you this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Oh my gosh, so much Okay, if you are in
the dating world, why it is a good idea to
make a list of all the things you are looking
for in a spouse. This is not just a website
or a piece of tips advice from some dating person.
This is real life happening to a friend of ours.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
And I'm assuming you don't give this list to someone.
This is your own list.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Oh no, and this is only if you plan to
go all the way to a spouse, not just dating.
I think so you make a list of the things
that you want in a spouse. Guys, it's not hard.
We're going to discuss it thought later.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Okay, this morning, coming up Hollywood, that.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
First one of the mornings, some Oscar presenters have been announced, Sam,
I think you'll be excited and more on the divorce
of Jennifer Andison and Justin Threw.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Judy's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
A little bit more into this divorce that we didn't
see coming, but apparently in Hollywood, it's not a surprise
for many that Jennifer Anison and Justin Threw are splitting up.
Told you about this first on Friday, they announced it
Thursday afternoon.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
You are you surprised that this isn't very much surprised.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Very surprised that he would let go of her, aren't you.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, well no, because you never heard any dirt. It
always seemed amicable.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Because they're grown ups and they're mature, and I don't
think you're gonna hear dirt, and I like that a lot.
There's definitely dirt. There's definitely you don't just love each
other like that and best friends and decided to divorce
without something being rotten down there something going wrong, and
something went wrong.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I wonder if if it's you know, she's just not
really the one. I'm not saying that she can't be
tied down, all right, but I mean, I think Jennifer
Aniston probably is just one of those who's very clear
on what she wants in her life, you know what
I mean, and kind of on her terms. And so
maybe Justin didn't work into that.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
He just wasn't good enough for me.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I'll tell you what. I know, what I do know.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I did some digging this weekend because we know about
the beautiful statement that they made together. Yeah, they were
together for seven years but only married for about two.
Is when I told you that they didn't spend much
time together in the last year. Right, he was in
New York and she's always hanging out with her. She
spent her forty ninth birthday with her friends.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Not him.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
They barely lived together while they were married, and these
last two years they've barely been under the same roof
because of work. He's a New York person, he wants
to live in New York. She's a California girl. She
needs to be by the ocean. And they literally are
not under the same roof, and they could not get
that together.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
They were.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
It's been suggested that she thought, tell him he can
live in New York, he'll miss me, He'll come to California.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
It didn't happen that way. Oh man, So I hope
that there's no I don't want to hear dart and.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I remember one of her I think it was one
of her previous birthdays. He wasn't supposed to be there
because he was in New York, but he showed up
and surprised her with a gift. That, right, I should
have been our indication this time when he didn't show up.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
That was yeah, you're right out.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah. But the upside is Jennifer Aniston's free now.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah, and so is Brad Pitt.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
That was all the number one light bulb for everybody
that they're both single at this time.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Murphy, Sam and Jody. You are Hollywood.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I join us anytime. Eight seven seven three one zero
four six seven five do.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
We have on the way, David?

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Well, I have Anita on a hold and she wants
to weigh in on the challenge that you and Jody,
You and Sam have going on to each other, rights
out binging who.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
And Sam? Thanks to you? Jody is now she's leaving
me for an hour a night for the TV. Uh
watching This is Us? Ah, Yes, this is Us challenge.
But you know, I guess in fairness, Jody is all
about it.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Now.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
It's a quality show.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
It's good.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I gotta take breaks from you.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
You said I can only take any pieces, right, So
the trade off really was okay, Jody, you have to
watch This is Us. But you know Jody said Sam
has to watch Game of Thrones.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, I would love to hear from you. Eight seven
seven three one oh four, Ms, j Anita, how are
you good?

Speaker 8 (05:47):
I wanted to find out a miss the episode where
you were Jody's talking about her reactions to This Is us,
and I wanted to find out what she thought about.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
You know, it's a really really well written and it's
beautifully smart and definitely things that almost all of us
can relate to. You there's one storyline that I can
relate to that I won't even talk about. That bothers
me a little bit. But it is heavy in a
way that I can't binge. That I can't watch one
after another. I'm going to have to dabble it.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 8 (06:22):
God, do you know what you mean?

Speaker 1 (06:24):
And and that's fine as long as you get to
watch all of us because I grew with Sam.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
That's the great show and.

Speaker 8 (06:31):
It has some funny things that moment.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yes, it already has made me not yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, so Sam, have you watched Game Around yet?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Actually, yes, I've watched a couple episodes. Oh my god,
I'm having a little difficulty keeping up with the I
need a program to keep up with all the characters.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
And who's That's what producer David is here for. We're
gonna hold your hand. Yeah, okay, excited.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
Jay mcgrone is not my kind of show, So I
haven't watched it.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I've never watched an episode even.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Know what it's about Sam.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Once you understand it, Sam, I think you're gonna really
like it. You're gonna dig it. It's a dude show.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Being only two episodes in, I've already got people that
I can't stand, and I get a couple of people
that I like.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Of course, thank you for the calling, and I see
that's what it's all about though. That's how they suck
you in, you know, conflict and all that. But I
agree with you. I constantly through the first two episodes
had to ask Jody, okay, wait, who's what?

Speaker 3 (07:31):
It was no fun.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
We had to stop every five seconds. So it's like
it's not for everybody, but it well, isn't it great?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's good. But since you and David I guess are
professionals Game of Thrones, I want your help coming up
next explaining who's who in the seven What is it?
The Seven Kingdoms? That's right, okay.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
There's so many ways that you can hang out with us,
just like this every morning, as you're doing right now,
or if there's anything you miss. You can also subscribe
to the Murphy Sam Jody podcast. Listen on your schedule.
It's free, easy to download.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
I'm still recovering from the news a few minutes ago
that Sam is watching Game of Thrones per my challenge.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I'm watching this is us for you for your recommendation.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I just said that everybody can understand there. Maybe you're
new to joining the Mrvy say with Jody family. Jody
is a huge Game of Thrones fanatic, and she producer
David Share that.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
He brought that to my life. Thank you, David, forever.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Judy and I as husband and wife, tried to watch
Game of Thrones together. I only got through season one.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, it's not for everybody. I get that. I'm asking
questions in the first episode.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
So how many episodes?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Episodes?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
And so much coming? Is Danny Khalisi? Yes, okay, because
she's gone by a couple of names, and.

Speaker 7 (08:48):
She has a lot of names, like calling her queen.
Her name is Garian, but they call her Danny for short.
Kalisi just means.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Man boom, I need to call you guys up whenever
I like who is?

Speaker 7 (09:01):
It really helps because if I wouldn't have had like
my roommate who read all the books beforehand and had
already seen the season multiple times, if he wouldn't there
to explain things to me, I wouldn't have gotten.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
You have to have a game of friend, you have
to Okay, So I've already decided who I like and
who I don't like. But I think from when you
two Murphy, I mean, Jody and David were talking that
you really can't get attached to anybody here, no way,
because something the Twists are like crazy.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I was warned about that early on too, because.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I like Aria and Aria, and I like most of
the Starks and john Snow, yeah, what.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Do you think of the Indiana Jones?

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Like guy?

Speaker 7 (09:34):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Well, yeah, he's okay. He's the one that's riding with Khalisi,
right right, He's okay, but I could see him turning
on people at some point. I don't like Danny's brother,
and I don't like the Lanisters except for Peter Dnklice.
He's one of my favorites.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
You're seven there, you are two episodes in and you
love all the right people.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Are you supposed to like attach yourself to a house?

Speaker 7 (09:55):
I do?

Speaker 3 (09:56):
I mean to I'm Stark through and through.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Yeah, Stark seems to be the you know, the nice people.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Yeah, and remember the Halloween costume I dressed up as
that was sans of Stark.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I she's the older sister, right.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Redhead with the long Yes, where you are she's tournamented
right now.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
It looks like going to marry that bad guy.

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Okay, hang tight, You're about to go on a thrill ride.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, so excited.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Those questions are answered.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
So excited, Sam.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
By the way, Winter's coming, Yes, it.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Is coming up next with Murphy Salmon Joe.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
If you are single, why it is important to have
a list of what you are, what you're looking for
in a spouse, Not to hang up or put on
your profile, but to keep it in your pocket.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Tell you about that.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Next, check out.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
JODI's three afternoon snacks. The kind of stacks you can
actually have even if you're on a diet and trying
to lose weight.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Snickers, No, they're not on the list, but these are
things I'm snacking on the afternoons and I'm still losing weight.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Just crazy so.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Y dot Com.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Okay, Okay. A friend of ours who lost his wife
about four years ago. You guys know I'm talking about.
We can call him Randall if you want to. Okay, So,
he's a lovely man. His wife passed away. It was
about four years ago.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
I ran in him six months ago and how you
doing and all that, and he said he's finally who's
finally dating again? I said wow, and he said he said, Actually,
what I did was I wrote down a list of
all the things that I would want and what would
be requirements for me for a person, and he said,
I came up with seventeen. I remember I told you
this story. And when he said seventeen, once I picked

(11:32):
myself up off the floor. I was like, wow, seventeen.
Like I don't even have seventeen for Murphy and him
I'm married, no, anyway, So I thought that was lovely.
And I didn't ask him what because you could just
tell that was the line you don't cross, right. So
I run into him last week. How you doing, Ah, hugs, great,
everything's good. He said, I am dating this lady, you know.

(11:52):
I said yeah. And he said it's not a matter
of if, but when this is going to be for
real because the marriage he's that's all.

Speaker 8 (12:03):
He said.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
He's really serious. And I literally remember as soon as
he said that, I remember.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Thinking he knew he was.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
He knew what he was looking for and what would
and would not work for him. He was really honest
with himself about that, and once he started to get
to know her, you know, he knew, okay, she fit
them all, she fit them all. And he said that
at some point after things got serious, he did share
the list with her and that she.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Was like, yep, them all.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
So it's just a little lesson that if you are,
you know, looking, yeah, keep your mind open, but know
what you want, know yourself.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Knowing yourself in situations is probably a because.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Some non negotiables would get in the way if you just.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Of course all in love with somebody, but they've got
non negotiables. You're lying to yourself and they're not going
to sneak up and rear there ugly has you.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Know from past experience being married three times. I think
it's a good idea that he put it in in writing,
like a contract with himself to always be there to
remind him, not just things on the top of your head,
like that'd be nice if she was right.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
So, Sam, youre going to make a list, can you
come up with seventeen seventeen?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
H I gotta start working on.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
This coming out Hollywood.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Black Panther might have might as well have been the
only thing in the box office this weekend. Tell you
about that and why Fergie is trending today. It's all
about that national anthem performance last night.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Judy's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Black Panther at the box office this weekend was in sane.
Our sixteen year old Taylor went to see it, and
she came home and she said it was the best
Marvel movie she's ever seen.

Speaker 8 (13:40):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
God whatna textiles, Shepherd's cool outfits.

Speaker 9 (13:45):
Full of front explorers search for it.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
I was keeping an eye on it all weekend on
social media. Yeah, thought I was going to set records
and yeah, you know.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
There was a movie Theater Atlanta that accidentally ran fifty
Shades Free instead of Black Panther, but only for about
five minutes because the audience was not happy about that.
I know that it ran two hours and fifteen minutes.
I know that because I had to pick up my
daughter at the end. So you always you know when
you're picking up your kid in a movie, you know
how long it runs, you know when to be there.
It blew the doors off this weekend, as expected. It's

(14:18):
being reported more than two hundred million, but I've also
read upwards of three hundred million just this weekend. Goodness,
Marvel's next, and Taylor wants to see it again because
she's like, there's so much that I want to catch again.
Everything else just fell so short. Should I even mention
that Peter Rabbit was just below it and fifty shades
freed below it.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
In the third it was gonna be one, Okay.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
So something that happened in entertainment this weekend that's just
got everybody scratching their heads is that Fergie did the
national anthem at the NBA are All Star Game this weekend,
right and just so just at the beginning of it,
and you know, it's the All Star Game, so a
lot of famous people are there too, and they're all
tweeting out scratching their heads like what was that? So
she Li she literally did the national anthem in a

(15:03):
way that no one's ever done it before, and it
was very sultry.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
There's a little bit for you, Kenny wait for it by.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
So everybody, like you go back and watch, you'll see
everybody in the audience kind of like is this really happening?

Speaker 3 (15:31):
And the whole thing from start to finish was this
way who and Ride, So a very difficult song to sing.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
She at least yes, but a sultry speed. Yeah, I know,
I know.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
So that's why you'll see Bergie trending today and dealing
with the hater's gonna hate and all the head scratching
for that. Coming up in your Hollywood outside of this
morning at seven fifty five, getting ready for the Academy
Awards because it's sooner than you think, and some of
the first presenters have been announced.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Up to date with Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
All right, coming up, Sam, we want to tell you
about one of the coolest birthday parties our daughter Phoebe
went to the other day.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Maybe you want to steal it. It's one of the
coolest parent on the block.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
And coming up next, more of your restaurant pet peeves.
Actually have a few that landed in the twenty four
hour voicemail at eight seven seven three one oh four
msj So we'll get to those next. So on Monday,
when I come across something that's positive, I want to share.
It's kind of like Jody's good thing, you know, and
it's when when there's something that happens that offsets all

(16:44):
the bad news. It's something I like to share. So Jody,
I thought about you when this actually happened to me.
This is a story that happened to me from last week.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
So this kind of Murphy's good thing.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I don't jis you take it?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Jo got the original good good thing. And I was
having to fly back out of Houston, so I had
to get an Uber right and so on the Uber
ride to the airport, which you know, I mean, it
can take you a while to get across town in Houston.
The uber driver's name was Pablo, and I mean I've
been with a million different Uber drivers before. There was
something really cool and special and different about Pablo because

(17:15):
when we got into the conversation, I found out he
moved to the United States from Argentina. You know, his
English is good, but you know, I had to really
focus because you know, he's still.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Learning the language in the front seat of the back seat.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
I was in the back seat.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Okay, it just helps me, helps me fine, because.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I can't hear that well in the Backseaty, that's a problem.
But I found he's moved to the United States twice
once in the early two thousands, had to go back
home to Argentina and then move back again. But the
reason that he's in the United States now is because
he lost his job in real estate there. He's got
a five year old child and for whatever reason, the
economy it just it wasn't working out. He and his

(17:52):
wife were going through their savings. So he figured the
only opportunity that he had was come back to the
United States. And when he moved to Houston, you know,
he was able to speak a lot of Spanish, but
he knew to get the job and get ahead and
grow then he needed to learn English. So he gets
a job of the school system. He takes a two
year course in English, and he also gets a job,

(18:12):
right you know, driving uber And the reason he took
the uber gig wasn't just for the money. It was
so that he could practice his English school with passengers.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Right, Oh my god, I love Pablo, right and so,
and he needs to do that.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
For the last four years. He's also asked a lot
of questions. He's using as a learning experience about the country.
And he wanted to know my educational background, what I
did for a living, you know, working with you two.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Every job has that.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
He just knew that it would just a lot of
people go into jobs and don't realize there's a second
there's a lot of other education that comes along with
it other than what.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Just just what you sign up just throw slang at him.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
No, we doesn't have any slang.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
We didn't talk about that. That's the real trick in
the English language. We have so many different words with
so many different meanings. But you know, by the end
of it, I just I was just so inspired by that.
And the last thing that he told me is that
he again feels this is the land of opportunity and
blessings for him, and with so much bad news in
our press, hearing that from somebody that appreciates with the
United States if we need yes, So thank you, Pablo.

(19:14):
You made my day. I learned as much from you
as you learned from me.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Nice, I want to go to Houston now and ride
with Pablo cole or text us eight seven seven three
one oh four MSJA coming up, David.

Speaker 7 (19:26):
Well, I have Laura on the phone and she wants
to talk to you guys about buying five hundred crickets.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Oh yeah, done it.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
So when you get a chance today like us on Facebook,
you can you know, always scroll the page. But if
you like our Facebook page. That way you'll get notifications
when we go Facebook Live and other you know, fun
things that keep you connected and up to date in
your news feed.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Hey, Sam, I might bring our bulldog, Papa oh good
one day this week for you to meet him.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
And then maybe I should bring some beer to dragons.
What do you think he's getting big?

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah? I mean can you safely bring the beer to drugs?

Speaker 9 (19:59):
Not for long?

Speaker 2 (19:59):
I mean I'm like a traveling cage.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
They do have a traveling cage, but they need to
be kept warm enough until I get loose.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Right, well, they don't get loose.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
We don't let that happen, okay eight seven seven three
one zero four six seven five. We love to hear
from you, and of course we buy all these That's
why we bought crickets. Yeah, bearded dragons because we have
to feed the dragons.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Lots and lots of them.

Speaker 8 (20:19):
Apparently, Hi, Laura, Hi, I am just wanted a little
story about the crickets you were talking about this morning. Yeah,
when you were counting, when you were saying five hundreds.
One time I went into a pet store and I
asked for I don't know, like twenty five crickets and
while the guy was taking out the twenty five out

(20:40):
of a thousand in his container, I was just making
conversation and I said, well, what if you gave me
twenty seven because he's actually counting.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
I know it, I know I watched them out to
it's crazy.

Speaker 8 (20:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Right.

Speaker 8 (20:54):
He's like, man, I don't make that mistake. Oh, He's like,
I count each one. And actually every night at the
pet store their inventory is to count every cricket per sale.

Speaker 9 (21:07):
What man.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
I was like, Okay, but what if you just actually
gave me just two extra ones? Ma'am, I don't make
that mistake. Dude.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah, he's in the right job.

Speaker 8 (21:16):
I said five hundred.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
I just had to laugh.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Let me tell you to let me tell you what else.
I really needed some crickets.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
We had nothing one night, one evening, and I ran
up to the pet store and they're like, we can
only give you one hundred, and I wanted two hundred.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
And there were more crickets in there.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
After she counted out one hundred, and I'm like, you
really can't give me any more. But they have their
own beardies and chameleions and all this stuff they have
to feed, so they have to keep their own supply,
you know.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Yeah, it was so hard for me to like, there's
crickets right there, I want them right now. Can't you
get some more tomorrow? I know, it's nuts.

Speaker 8 (21:54):
I mean they didn't take it seriously.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah they did. I didn't know that counting crickets was
that critical. Critical cricket counting well, yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
I mean we're paying per cricket. I can't remember how
many cents per crickets.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Do they have an auto cricket counter too, or is
it always.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
No, it's a person. It's because they have to them.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Up doing five hundred of those.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Yeah, and you've got to be I'm careful not to
talk to them too much while they're counting.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Okay, don't bring me there.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah. Yeah, So sixteen thrown out numbers.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Coming up next with Murphy's salmon jokes.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Well, we may not have to worry about that after all,
because we may be punting crickets altogether. So Laura called
a little while ago, asking about crickets and the crickets
we're having to buy for the bearded dragons and all that.
In her experience of courses, as you go to the
pet store and if you order two hundred crickets. That's
what you get. They're counting that precisely.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
If they've got them. My trouble has been, man, sorry,
we're out of crickets today.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
So I'm like, oh no, We're about three months into
managing these bearded dragons, and sometimes I wonder if we're
really equipped to do this the right way. I feel
so inexperienced. Here's the latestrob you know, I mean crickets.
I've been ordering them in bulk because they're a little
less expensive that way. The last time we ordered five hundred,
actually the five hundred arrived, I had no problem. Remember

(23:10):
I was telling you about the cricket Disney thing.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah, make them dizzy.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
That worked like a charm. Man. I'm in a.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Circle before you put them in the cricket keeper.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
And actually i'd put them in the refrigerator for about
ten minutes too, which does slow them down also, so.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Double whammy Murphy over here.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I did not lose the first of five hundred crickets victory.
That's what I think. Anyway, don't put them in the
cricket keeper, and of course you have to give them
the cricket food.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Aways. The fact that okay, you right, you're buying crickets
to feed the bearded dragons. But then you have to
buy food to feed the crickets.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
You do.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Food, Yeah, you know what they call that, gut load
loading for the crickets.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah, you need to gutload these crickets.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Right, you mean feed them? Okay, So so anyway, yeah,
because I mean they've got to they've got to survive,
for one thing, which that is the latest problem that
we're having. That money. Yeah, probably somewhere around one hundred
I think died and it began became evident because the
cricket keeper began to smell. First time since we've had
the cricket keeper, it's been a problem.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Just the crickets get bigger and the beardies get bigger,
the crickets are going to stink, even if they're alive
and well and gut loaded. So what we're what we're
actually doing now is feeding more meal worms because they
don't stink.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Great breakfast, Yeah, loaded meal worms.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
The real good news here is as they get older,
they need less protein and more salad. Last night we
gave a mustard, greens and carrots and guess.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
What, Yeah, and that is good news. Of course. The
third alternative is the one we've not tried with the
Dubia roaches, which I invertently call them to buy roaches,
but that's not what they are.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Don't forget about the pinky mice we could we could.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Buy at.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
We're not doing that.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
We haven't showed you that, Sam, when they're I don't
even know what our pinky mouse really is. You can
google it every it's disturbing.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
How many crickets have you gotten over the three months?

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Oh, I haven't done that math.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
I should go back and try to add it up now.
Now the number that stayed alive is going to be
a little bit less than the total number we bought.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Coming up next with Murphy, Sam and Jody got.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
A Star Wars weekend with the boys this weekend. What
does that mean, Well, we watched movies, but they did
get tired of me saying I am your father.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
President's Day or a singer Fergie would say President's Day.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
According to the way she did the national anthem last night.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Yes, okay, that's why she's trending today because she did
a sultry national anthem.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
I had a great weekend this weekend with the boys.
Jack and partner Mattie was on a cruise with her
Disney cruise with her mom.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
So wows. None of us were invited to do that now,
but the boys didn't want to go for.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
That or well, Jeff Parker was at school, so they'd
left like on Wednesday last week, so he was still
in school.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Oh ouch, yeah, okay, he was.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Okay with it. He had fun this weekend with Jack
and then we had a Star Wars weekend.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
It was the Star Wars weekend. Work at your house, Sam.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Apparently at school his house father showed them some Star
Wars movies, but in questioning him, he showed him the
three bad movies, you know, the three with Baba fe
I mean Baba Fat with Jar Jar Binks. So the
newer ones that you don't like, Yeah, that nobody really likes, okay,
and so newer ones that are really prequels yeah, one, two,

(26:23):
and three which really came as four five whatever. So
you know, I had to make a point because I
know he's seen the original Star Wars before, but it
was when he was younger and probably didn't remember it.
So I was like, okay, we'll sit out. I said
that was garbage. We had to watch the real movies
this weekend. So I whipped out my DVDs and we
watched the good stuff.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
You've never heard of, the Millennium Fault.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
You whipped out.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
It's a ship that made the Kestle run and listen
to twelve Parsex and yeah, and when I say DVDs,
it's like I realized playing these things. We watched the
first one and then the Empire strikes back and I
realized watching him. I haven't watched DVDs and right so long.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
I don't think we're capable of cleaning the DVD at
our house anymore. No, the last player bit the dust. Yeah, well,
I had to warn them before we started. It's like,
look the DVD. I know the players here, but let's
see what happens when we put it on.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, it worked. It worked. So we watched one and
two or actually which is four and five, because you.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Have gotten Star Wars these three movies digitally anyway.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
I don't know. I remember try. I remember when Rogue
one came out, they had them all on a couple
of the services Hulu or right Amazon or something, so
you can download them, but I don't know if they're
still on.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Well, isn't Disney working on their own sort of Netflix, Yeah,
which means it'll be there to live in its own
Star Wars galaxy.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, get Disney at some.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Point in the near future. That's Star Wars Marvel all
is going to go away from h in Disney stuff.
It's all going to go away from Netflix and it's
all going to go to the new Disney one. Got it?
Got it?

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Coming up next with Murphy's Salmon Jokey, your email answered
in our producer's mail bag, and we're not the only
one who has the problem with the sounds.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Some of the sounds at our Olympic game apparently do that.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Next, want you to know that we do read and
see every message, every comment, every email that comes through.
We do try to respond as quickly as possible among all,
you know, amidst all the fun we have here in
the mornings. So jump in anytime. We love hearing from you.
Eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ or you
can hits up on Facebook or Instagram.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
It's sue for the producers, nail, where.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Do we have David Well?

Speaker 7 (28:25):
Christy writes in and says, I just wanted y'all to
know that I enjoy listening to your radio show as
I make my way to the prison where I work.
Oh that's okay, she says, if you'll figure out Sam's
dating dilemma, please pass the note along. I'm trying to
get buck out into the world again after taking a
long break, and I'd.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Like some ideas we figure out the dilemma.

Speaker 7 (28:45):
Just how to meet people, whether it's online, she may,
whether it's dating or in real life.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Which she likes to try to know what I think.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
Honestly, if you really do want to meet someone, I
don't know if this is a fishing you need to
cast out your line. I don't know if I'm talking
about Murphy now, no, no, let me talk like a
financial person. You need to diversify, meaning you should do
some online pick a good couple of sights, but you
should also let your best friends, people who really know
you know that you're looking. You should pick up a

(29:13):
hobby that gets you out socializing. I think you should
cast your net wide or whatever this cliche is. You
should diversify if you really want that. You can't just
count on one. Oh, well, my girlfriend says, there's this
guy at church that might be right for me.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
That's not enough.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Well, and it sounds like sounds like your options at
work are limited.

Speaker 7 (29:35):
Good luck to you, all right, and moving on to
the Olympics, because Jodie, ever since you pointed this out,
I can't unhear it.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
It's the sounds of the skating events.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Oh yeah, our Taylor, she's sixteen. She cannot deal with
the sound of the skates at takeoff in speed skating
right here.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Well you supposed to go Shannie Davis and Leo.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
You can't deal with that sound and leaves the room.

Speaker 7 (29:57):
Well, she's not the only one. Purtricier says, I have
issue with whistling, humming, and smacking a food or gum,
so I feel her pain. Sometimes I have to put
on the headphones and pray it'll stop. But there is
a medical term for it. But people think I'm just
being picky.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Now, she's right about that. I've read about that. There's
a medical term for people who are sensitive to that.
I think producer Emily kind of suffered from that too,
where it's just it happens. You can't control it. Three
rooms over, somebody can be smacking on something and you're yet.

Speaker 7 (30:22):
The term is called missophonia. I Devor wrote in and
says she has it too.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Wow, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
That's yes, there's no cure for miss aphonia.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Huh no, get out of the room. We love to
hear from you.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Thank you, Patricia. Reach out any time on Instagram or Facebook.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
Coming out Hollywood.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Some OSCAR presenters have been announced, and it's pretty cool.
Some of your favorites, Sam and Black Panther at the
Box Office.

Speaker 6 (30:50):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
All Right, you guys know how quickly the Academy Awards
are approaching.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Oscars happening March fourth.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Okay, it soon at the Adobe Theater in Hollywood on ABC.
We'll be able to watch it live on ABC. So
some of the first presenters were announced late last week.
We're gonna have mihrschela Ali, who won Best Supporting Actor
last year for Moonlight.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
I love him.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
There's something about him. He is a special human being.
Everything he's ever done, wasn't he in House of Cards?
He was Remy That's why I love him too. Right, Okay,
so maherschela Ali will be there to present your favorite Sam. Yeah,
Margot Robbie will be presenting. She's also one of the
most talked about nominees for her work in I Tanya I.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Was the best figure skater in the world at one
point in time.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
And the question bark being will she bring Tanya Harding
like she did to the Golden Globes. That would be
kind of cool, it would be, But she should bring
her husband?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Why? Because this is the fancy Awards.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Just should Yeah, I mean, I guess you should, but yeah,
but I mean with Tanya didn't get upset, and we
don't want to make Tanya mad.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
The Academy could invite us to get her award win.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
You're crazy. Okay.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
We've got Laura Dern presenting, Jennifer Garner's gonna be there
from Girls' Trip Tip, and he Hattish, who's hysterical we
love her. Emma Stone will be presenting she won last
year for her work in La La Land, and Chadwick Boseman,
current star of Black Panther, will be presenting.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
About textiles Shepherd's cool outfits.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
So I'm sorry, that's super exciting, just on the presenting side,
not even on performances or whatever else we're gonna have.
You know, it's hosted by Jimmy Kimmel again this year.
This ceremony coming up Sunday, March fourth, on ABC. And
speaking of Black Panther, we knew it would be blow
the doors off sort of a weekend. We're hearing more
than two hundred million for it. I've seen reports of

(32:46):
more than three hundred million. Four they're still counting. Our
teenager Taylor went to see it on Friday night and
loved it. It is her favorite Marvel movie, and that's
saying a lot. Totally saying a lot. You know, in Atlanta,
in a theater, the accidentally played Fifty Shades Freed instead
of Black Panther, and the crowd.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Was up at the catch it.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
It happens they caught it five minutes in, so they
only had a little bit of the fifty Shades thing
going on until they switched to the big movie. All right,
Coming up in your next Hollywood Outsider at eight thirty
this morning, Why Fergie the singer Fergie is trending today
because of her National Anthem performance last night.

Speaker 5 (33:26):
Up to date with Shody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
And thank you for starting your President's Day Monday with
us Murphy.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
I have to tell you a little story about something
happened the other day Friday after I having told you.
I didn't tell you this and at home this weekend
because I wanted to tell you with Sam.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Huh, enjoy this?

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Okay, So yeah, it's funny. We actually do do that.
In case anybody's really wondering, we'll hang out.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
I want Sam.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
There's some things we have to save for everybody.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
They can be funny. If I tell you without Sam,
you won't think it's funny.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Okay, Okay, So no pressure here.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Friday afternoon and I had a million errands to run.
I had this one of the doctor's appointment, this pick up,
this one here, so much going on. I had to
stop at the house take care of the dogs really quickly.
So I'm at the house. I grabbed a little bite
to eat. I refilled your diffuser.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Oh that's right. I keep wanting to call it a
Sinsey gave me for Valentine's.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Sit in the mid the middle of the trial packet.
Is this breathe good? Like breathe well, I can't remember
the name of it. It's like, oh, breathe great. And
so I put it in, put the water in, plugged
it in and it started vaporizing and I could smell it.
I'm like, yes, I can smell it. That's great, because
the orangeman I couldn't smell. You're like, oh, it's gonna
feel good, it's gonna be nice.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Great.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
I do a few more little things. I put started
to put the dogs out, and I gotta go. And
who wouldn't go out but the bulldog? Who wouldn't go
out but Papa, who is such a hard headed chunk
of dog pork chopness that he wanted to sit down.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
And I know, yeah, basically, so I had to.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
I created.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
I'm like, you're gonna stay in, fine, get in your crate.
I created him. I'm like, fine, I leave, lock the door, leave.
I get halfway across town, and then I realize and remember, oh,
there are certain essential oils that dogs.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Should not be breathing.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
And then I just left him in the house with
the diffuser on with oils and I'm not even sure
of and I was across some of them are toxic.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
I mean, seriously, And is this where I'm supposed to
start laughing.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Yes, I could not.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
I mean seriously. I could not get home. I had
to pick up Phoebe. There was a doctor's appointment for tape.
I could not get home. And imagining he already has
trouble breathing on the daily, like that's how he breathes,
just normal air. I was so worried. We get home,
I run inside. The girls are like, why are you
running inside? My I go inside and he looks at.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Me, like what's up? Per out?

Speaker 4 (35:59):
He's fine, And I couldn't even smell the essential oils.
So I didn't hurt him. But I'm never going to
put anything in that now with so working on my list.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Now they say like tea tree oil and you have
to be careful. I didn't even know that. So, yeah,
we're going to Some are good for them.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Some are toxic.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
Coming up next with Murphy's Sam and Josie.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Why Murphy's so glad I did make an online mistake
this time that's finally paid off for him. Hey, Sam,
so you know how I sometimes make online ordering mistakes.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
Sometimes I do often the ones I all the time.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
The ones I share.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
I can't get away with any of them because Murphy
ends up finding about all of them, finding out about
all of them eventually.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Well that's what's funny, because usually if it's messed up,
it involves a surprise and Sam winds up finding out
before I do, because you don't want to blow the surprise.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Whatever, Crystal change a two drones show up of the
house or whatever it is.

Speaker 8 (36:58):
For to day.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
A couple of years story, you bought Murphy for his
uh for y'all's.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah, it came from the Ukraine, so it took It
was supposed to be like an anniversary.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know whatever wound up coming
for Christmas late.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
So I have this subscription thing to something I buy
from that I and when I purchased, I accidentally I
didn't realize the box was checked that I signed up
for a subscription to some magazines and we started getting
magazines last year that I was like, I.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Didn't I didn't subscribe to this mood magazine.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Sure well, Sports Illustrated was the first to show up,
and then like a month later in Style showing up.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Okay, So so Murphy, when this happens you, does it
automatically click in your head?

Speaker 7 (37:37):
Like?

Speaker 2 (37:38):
What did you do?

Speaker 8 (37:39):
Now?

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Neither one of us knew for months, right.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
I asked Joe to Yeah, I'm like, do you have
any ideas? It's got your name on it clearly?

Speaker 8 (37:47):
So what.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
Well, let me tell you my mistake finally paid off
this weekend because Murphy checked the mail and he walked
in with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edih And what did
you say, I'd finally paid off?

Speaker 8 (38:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (38:04):
I did. And it's actually the thickest Sports Illustrated to
you know, come out in the last couple of months.

Speaker 7 (38:08):
It is.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
I guess most magazines are a little bit thinner than
they used to be.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Yes, the world.

Speaker 8 (38:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
The only thing is you know, to me and if
you're gonna be in a swimsuit issues, shouldn't you be
wearing a swimsuit? There are a lot of pictures that
are not like that.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Some of them are just on the beach.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
But anyway, this is not all right exactly. It's like,
where's your swimsuit? It must be in the swimsuit edish.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
It's a cool addition because some famous names are in there,
some sports figures are in there. You know, Ali Raisman,
Katee Epton is in there. Yeah, a first time ever
cover girl who's fabulous, a girl from La Los Angeles, California.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
I love her on the cover.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
But I'm gonna tell you my favorite part of the
weekend that you didn't even realize how subtle you are. Normally,
the magazines get just left around, and I organize them
and put them away or get rid of them or
recycle or whatever. Murphy goes upstairs to pay some bills,
and boy does he take that sports. He'll stray you
with him upstairs. Never never before, so aware. So aren't

(39:02):
you glad? I made that fumble?

Speaker 6 (39:04):
Yes, Judy's Hollywood outsider.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
So you'll see that.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Fergie, the singer, Fergie is trending today. And so why
all the backlash? What is going on? In case you
missed it, she did the national anthem last night before
the NBA All Star Game game, where you know, everybody,
like a ton of famous people are there and it's
a lot of fun events.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
It's an event.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
Okay, So she did the national anthem, but in a
way that no one's ever done it before, and she
made a lot of people pretty uncomfortable because she did
it in a saltry way.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Here you go, oh you wait for it, Kenny.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
By the Joy.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Okay, yeah, what's so at that point where she did
lee that you can see the people start to look
at each other. And so Fergie did that last night
and that is why she might be the top trender today.

Speaker 5 (40:04):
Murphy Salm and Jody, you are a hollywoodder.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
I was happing around on Amazon the other day. You
know they have daily deals on Amazon.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Yeah, I do know that.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Yeah, if you're set up right, you can get notifications
on them.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
I needed, well, maybe I don't need to do that,
because I came across a you know, power inverter to
plug into your car so you can actually plug one
hundred and ten bolt, you know, like right a standard
right plugged standard plug, not just to USB. And I
was like, well, you know, thirteen bucks for that, never
know when you'll need it, buy one throat in the
glove compartment whatever. But right next to it was a
sixty piece rubber made set.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Sixty pieces storage story. I mean, he's thirty piece with lids.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I'm sorry, Yeah, I'm glad Jody called that out because
that always.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
You be wowed by sixty.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
It's thirty Yeah, I was gonna say, I prefer to
think of it as sixty.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
It's still thirty pieces.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
I know, and it looks so nice and clean, and
because a lot of the ones I have, you know,
have like lasagna baked into them and allay.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
You gotta spray. You got to spraying with cooking spray
before you read something.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
I didn't go on there looking to buy this, but
I thought, I mean, I can't beat the deal. I'm
gonna get this, so I bought it. I mean, do
you do you wind up on these deal things where
you like get hooked. Yeah. Oh, he's kind of like
going to home depot and buying something you don't need.

Speaker 8 (41:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
They I mean that's it. I know that's their intent,
and I feel it drives me crazy every time. Is
I'm the classic consumer? Yeah, I fall for it every time.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
That's why we had that stupid shower thing on our
shower that supposed leaks conserves water way.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Consumer reports recommended that thing. As soon as the water
gets hot, it shuts the tap off until you can
get in the shower yourself.

Speaker 9 (41:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
What page was that on? I gotta find on.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
The suckers does a sucker every click?

Speaker 4 (41:47):
So Black Panther was number one at the box office
this weekend, and we knew that was going to happen.
We're hearing like upwards of three hundred million dollars it took.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
In what the textiles Shepherd's cool outfits.

Speaker 9 (42:00):
All the front Explorers have searched for it, called it
Elder Rada. They looked for it in South America, but
it was in Africa.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
That was what was blowing me away all WEEKND was
seeing the fact that it was like, oh, it's one
hundred ninety five and then it's two hundred million. Unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
The fact that this character was written in the sixties
and has never been brought to film, like Marvel's gonna
do this. Marvel's gonna bring all these characters that have
never had film, you know, like because somebody like me,
I'm not in the comic book world. I didn't know
that this character existed, right, I didn't know about the
other one that they're making.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
That dambit gambit. I didn't know that With Channing Tatum.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
You kind of feel like, are the movie studios making
these people up?

Speaker 4 (42:44):
No? They live in comic books and now brought to
the screen. Wesley Snipes tried to bring this movie to
the big screen, this character in the nineties, and it
just never went anywhere.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
But I'm kind of glad they waited, even though loved us.
It's nine.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
It's funny because Marvel's doing all these standalone movies, and
then they owned Disney too, which starting to do all
the standalone Star Wars movies.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
Yes, it is a whole universe, is it not.

Speaker 4 (43:04):
Okay, So Black Panther, Our sixteen year old Taylor went
and she thought it was awesome, her favorite Marvel movie ever,
number one, expected to be so for quite a while.
