Guess what you made it? It's Friday, It's Patti's Eve. Yeah,
oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I did.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Patty thought about that. Celebrating St. Patrick's on it, you know,
for a couple of days would be kind of fun.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Tell you I do name. I mean, we had pie Day,
we had eyes in March. Tomorrow Saint Patrick's Day. So
today is just Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Tonight I'll be making Tonight, I'll be making some sort
of green dessert. I haven't decided just yet, but yeah,
because I'm going to get together at a girlfriend's house tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
If I'm not going to the Saint Patti's Day party,
will you save me a piece?

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Yes? I will, sweet, I'll leave you right, I'll make
you want to.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Dig into the cake that's actually going somewhere Brownie.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
So whatever it was, I don't know, I'm not I
haven't decided yet.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
The old and Brownies thing, that's it's.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Really first in line. That's really first in line.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Probably jello shots with some jamison.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Was from the St. Patty's Day of your Oh yes
is not of now, Sam, Yes, it is Friday. Let's
break out some favorite moments from the week.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Right, Oh that's right, Friday favorite too, You're up.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Sam Sam's Friday Favorite.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Oh that's when I really did enjoy and I'm surprised.
Willie Nelson turns eighty five next month. A new album
that came out this week and he went into got
a video I saw of him doing one of the
songs in the studio, by the way, very frail looking,
but I wanted to check on him since he's had
those issues with pneumonia lately and having to cancel concerts.

(01:34):
The song is called Me and You and it's really good.
Listen turn the sound down on TV.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
It's Willy, I just can't listen.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Are Wow, it is great, doesn't sound frail?

Speaker 6 (01:47):
Comments something far on country.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Wow, Willie?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
That amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
You don't stop being you are just because you're getting older.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I could see that up on stage with Whiskey River
and everything else. Yeah, I'm glad I had to hear that.
He's sounding so good, so special. And he's got a
big fourth of July Picnic again this year, and he's
going out on tour with the Outlaw Tour with a
bunch of others. So will he's back in the saddle,
so to speak.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yes, said almost eighty five, or he is eighty.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Eighty five next month.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
That's amazing, really amazing.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Murphy's Sam and Jody all right?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Coming up next hour, Producer David's putting us to the
test again. It's on Fun and Games Friday, and we're
gonna play you can play along in the car with us.
I think it's Saint Patti's Day Trivia. So I guess
Sam's gonna have the edge again.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I hope I have the luck of the Irish coming
coming up in your first Hollywood Outsider of the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Next, why every actor at the table reads for the
final season of Game of Thrones they were in tears?

Speaker 7 (02:45):
That's next Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I promise we're going to get to why all the
actors were crying at the table reads reading the Game
of Thrones final season before they started filming. I promise
we're going to get to that, because that is you
say no spoilers, of course not. I would never.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I'm up to season six.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
You are, Sam, You told us this week you were
going to take a break, and now you're racing foot.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, but now it's getting good.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
I know dragons are flying around.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
I'll say that even though I gave up watching the show,
I am curious to hear everybody was crying at the table.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Right, right, right, Okay, first, a little This is Us
news that will also rock you, sam.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
My dad, it's not with us anymore?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Oh this show.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
He's not alive, but he's with us.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Put yourself in.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
That space for a second, and you know it almost
it almost was never a TV show. Yeah, we know
the guy who came up with Dan Fogelman. Not to
be confused with Berg, but Dan Fogelman wanted it to
be a motion picture. It was supposed to be a
movie and it never came together and he shelved it.
But those characters really stuck with him, and rightly so.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I'm glad he did the show because it's nice the
way that it's written, that you get the pacing kicked
in the gut every week. I don't love that it
had worked in the movie.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
You know what, maybe though in the movie theater, we
wouldn't be subject to all the crying week after week.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
There is a movie though.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
When we talked about this in the Hollywood Ouside earlier
this week, they're doing a not of This is Us movie.
But he has a movie, Dan Fogelman mean about a family.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
It's a multi generational.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Story seemed concept, same concept as a pot no different stories,
and it's going to be in theaters in September, so
we'll get you ready for that one. Okay, Now to
Game of Thrones. The cast they're all at table reads
before they go to shoot all these scenes that were
working on the final, eighth and final season. They were

(04:43):
at the table reads and it was so impactful that
many of them started to cry. And then honestly, some
of them reading their own deaths, so we know that
there is a lot of death coming.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Well, gee, there's a surprise, a surprise.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
I guess if you're the actor that didn't you know
that was coming, that's where you stop and go what wait?

Speaker 7 (05:02):
What?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
So this is a dramatic table read of six of
the final scripts, very emotional for everybody, and it was
noted that once the final one was read, and this
is the first time they'd seen this stuff and they
turned it over, several of them stood up and applauded
for like fifteen minutes.

Speaker 7 (05:20):
It's that good.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
I'm so ready, But it's not going to be here
till twenty nineteen.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
Oh Winter's coming up to date with Jdi's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
All right, con up.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Next, I got a really nice gift from somebody, and
unfortunately I broke it thirty seconds later. Tell you about that, next.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Murphy, does this lady friend of ours know you broke this? No, So, Murphy,
did you tell our lady friend? And I'll say she's
a friend, a dear friend of all of us, Bridget,
did you tell her yet that you broke her?

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Beautiful President? She came here.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah, and this is so weird and Sam's going to
probably find this.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I don't understand how this happened.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Okay, So she's a coworker, or she walks in the
room and she has a sample of blue Chanel blue
is what it's called. And and she likes the other
clone that I wear before. You know, we talked about
before that mont Blanc that I wear, and I also,
as Jody will tell you, I I liked it. I'm
not an overdoer of clones. I like them. I like

(06:21):
having an assortment.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
And you're known, especially about her to always smell good.
She's even telling your husband always smells so good.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
So sweet. Yes, so she she wanted to make sure
I was aware of this new fragrance, and she brought
a sample in and you know, it came in that
little folder thing that's about matchbook size and card and
it's a little glass vial with just enough to put
on to smell good. So I took some out it.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
It did smell in crodible.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Oh man, it's smell good. And this is not a
cheap clone. When I went and looked at up, I'm like,
oh wow, okay, I'll have to save up for this.
So but but I'm thinking myself, well, at least on
the drug store colone, I've got the sample that'll asked
me for at least a couple of days. So I
took the sample and I put the sample in my pocket.
You know, we're be protected. And then I go to leave,

(07:07):
you know, we're finishing up in here. And I started
to walk out of the room and I stepped and
I here crunch. I'm like, yeah, what was that? And
I looked down below my feet. It was the bottle.
It's like, how did that get under my feet?

Speaker 3 (07:17):
And wait, the carpet smelled incredible for a few minutes
and there's glass everywhere.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Huh, I said, to clean that MOUs.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
My question, how did you do that how well.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I had to think about it, but I know exactly
what happened. This is a diabetic mishap. As what it is.
It's because both of my pockets have holes in them
so that I can run the tubing for my insulin
pump up. Okay, well, my pump is in my right
pocket today, not on my left. I put that thing
in my left pocket and.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Apparently right through the hole, right through the hole.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Somehow, that glass bottle went right through that hole, right
down my pants leg, right down to the floor. So
I was bumped. But you know the thing is, and
I guess I'll tell her, but I'm gonna I wind
up getting it at some point, or you can get.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Astry given that she was given that sample, she didn't
buy it, so you have to feel bad.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
And she also is the most forgiving person. She just
likes it.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You smell good, and so yeah, I mean, maybe that's
a real bottle of it's in your future.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah, something else to blame on diabetes.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Huh. Yeah, Well, I've certainly lost enough change from my
pockets that way in the past.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
So coll or text us eight seven seven three one
oh four MSJH.

Speaker 8 (08:21):
Who's on the way, David, Well, Jody, you might be
in luck because I have Carol on hold. She has
a Saint Patrick's date themeed dessert idea for it.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Excellent.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Coming up next hour, producer David is going to pit
us all against each other like he does on Fridays.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Makes it sound bad, but it's really fun, Sam.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Jody all playing a game against each other, Sat Patty's game?
Oh is it Saint Patti's?

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Okay, well you're killed and let's do it all right?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Eight seven seven three one zero four msj anytime you
want to join us?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
What's going on? Carol?

Speaker 9 (08:53):
I have a great easy, super easy recipe for you.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
For your party, okay, Sat Patti's Day party?

Speaker 9 (09:01):
One of the Yes, the box creams for cheesecake mix,
but you don't use the gram cracker stuff. You take
one of the news They have the green Oreo.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Cookies, yes, oh.

Speaker 9 (09:13):
Do they them in the bottom of your cupcakes. Papers,
then you make the filling, put it in there, but
make it.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Green, okay, yes, And.

Speaker 9 (09:22):
Then on the top you can either do crunched up
Oreo cookies or crunched up Andy's candy.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Yeah, oh my gosh, so it's green it's green cheesecake
with Andy's mince on top.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
And an oreo on the bottom.

Speaker 9 (09:39):
Whoa and a green oreo on the bottom.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Are you talking about going the easy route of like
doing a yellow cheesecake box?

Speaker 9 (09:47):
Yes, but ye don't use the word.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
I'm I'm in love with that.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
That's going to be a close runner up to the
brownies I was thinking of making with green icing on
top and Andy's mince crushed up.

Speaker 9 (10:00):
Yeah right, sounded very good.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Thank you, Carol, enjoy your party.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Thanks. You know. The only thing is I would want
to save the Graham cracker stuff for something else. You
don't want to waste that. Have you ever tasted that?
It's good?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Yeah, you can actually dip chocolate in there, almost by itself.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
But what a great idea. I see, I'm not creative
shavvy like that.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
You get to just go to Pinterest.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I actually want to buy the extreme I don't know
what you call it, dream the long the long little
candies that look like rainbows, Extreme sours or something like that.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Rain no, not ropes. They're just flat and they look
like rainbows.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
And you can put a rainbow like on top of
a cupcake and you can get it rainbow Leprechaun gold
at the end of the Woh, you could do stuff
with rainbows too. For Saint Pati's dad.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
That's a cute idea too.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
That's a little bit like this is going to be
tonight late after we get home from Phoebe's you know,
Papa ally at school, so it's gonna have to go simple.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
What Carol just described as something so easy, I could
do it. You know what I mean it.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
I won't be doing it.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
I'll be doing it, Thank you, Carol eight seven seven
three one zero for Ms J jump in anytime coming
up next. We almost called you last night, Sam because
Murphy said something so funny at bad times.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Top of the Marnin Jui Hi. Actually, since we're not
going to be here tomorrow morning for that, I figured
I could do.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I love it When you do that, say it again tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
I know I can't do it on demand.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
You do the Irish spring thing had a fine fresh
scented has.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
That was right, So I can't do my top of
the Marnin. Do you if I loved it it? See
if we're you know, it's not Sat Patti's day yet.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
But okay, we mentioned Sam that Murphy. Well, he had
to admit it. He had no choice that he has
by his bed, on his side of the bed, Alexa
and Google Home.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Yeah, yeah, when you need answers right now, you know
what I'm covering.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yeah, it's like having it's like having a peanut gallery
and audience to be able to help me through whatever
I need.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
So last night we're crawling into bed, I'm about to
fall asleep, and I'm like, what's the hew tomorrow? And
he's like, I don't know, let me ask, and he
asks both of them and then I'm.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
They give the same forecast pretty much.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
They gave the same forecast. One of them misunderstood me
the first time. I couldn't ask you didn't ask it correctly.
I asked Google, what's the load tonight? And she didn't
understand that.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
She's like, I can't help you with that.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
But then when I said, what's the weather tonight, boom
got the answer right.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
And so anyway, you don't know this, but this cracked
me up. It woke me up because I was in
that space where I was about to fall asleep and
you're walking after you know, you found out the weather
for me or whatever. You walk into the bathroom, start
brushing your teeth, And I said to you, have you
can they talk to each other? And you said, well,
they can, but you have to be a super geek

(12:49):
to do that. And then you started brushing, and I'm thinking,
you don't think you're a super geek.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Yeah, because you can do it.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I believe. I think they have videos on YouTube of people.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Yeah, I remember, I think I should that. Here on
the show a few weeks ago, the guy did something.
He put a calendar entry on one and then the
calendar entry was, you know, do something for Alexa or
whatever from Google, and then that would trigger and they
would both go off, you know, with each other. So
I have to ask, I just don't have the time
to do that.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
We would be the point of making this.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yeah, it's one of those where you're like, it's funny
and then you know.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Anyway, I will say, I really do like the Google
Home Voice.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, a nice. You know, I'm not comparing them.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I just is she normal or she British?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
She's normal actually, you know, And it's it's the same
Google Assistant that you have on your Android or you
don't have an an well, but even if you don't,
if you use the microphone on Google Chrome. That would
be the Google assistants.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
So you know, so she's our GPS girl. Okay, let's get.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I know, yeah, I do have heard the Okay, let's go.
But I think on ways I picked the Australian girl.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
I think you know that's right.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Of course you do to and right, then to and right.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
He's pretending it's Nicole kidmon Craigie.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
There's an accident up ahead coming up.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
You're a Hollywood an update on Fergie since we last
heard from her in that national.

Speaker 7 (14:12):
Anthem Judy's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Okay, remember a couple of weeks several weeks back when
Fergie ferg sang the national anthem at an NBA All
Star Game?

Speaker 10 (14:24):
Could we forget oh Kenny?

Speaker 4 (14:29):
She just was tired of singing it the old way.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I feel like I need to be sitting at a
two top table or a candle in the middle.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
And everyone was like, yeah, I guess uncomfortable is the word,
because it's like, why is she making it sexy?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Well she yeah, she did it like nobody else.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
We'll spin on it very differently, and it wasn't well received,
and that's a hard thing to do and then live
with that in our time and our world, because everybody
gets to be a critic.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
So now you're gonna tell me it's available on iTunes
and I.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Can no, no, But I do want to tell you
that her ex husband Josh Jumel has come to her defense.
He finally said how he feels about it. Well, Number one,
he was worried about her because he knows. Number one,
he's heard or singing a million times and he knows
she can sing it. So he doesn't understand why she
chose to mix it up that way.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
But so he was very he's got her back.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Number one, he wants the world to know he's still
got her back even though we're divorced now.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
And that well he even showed up with flowers and
their son Axel after. Yeah, she got all.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I love that, like here's the day after, here's your flowers,
but also wants the world to know don't worry about her.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
She's a tough girl.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
I believe that too. I like it when exes do
that for each other.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
You know, we've had that Mariah Carey getting another chance
on New Year's Rock and Eve. Yes, maybe we'll get
Fergie having another chance, that's what I want. You know,
if she does it again, she'll do it.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Yeah, he's saying she can definitely sing. Okay, let's take
it to the box office this week. And we do
have a couple of movies set to take on Black
Panther and a Ring in time.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
It's an action one. It's tomb Raider.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
I think I know when my dad went.

Speaker 10 (16:05):
That's right in the middle of the Devil's See And.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
What is your question? Didn't we have these with Angelina Jolie.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
We did.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
We had tomb Raider in two thousand and one, and
then another one in two thousand and three with Angelina Joe.
This time Alicia Vykander is the star. She's married to
Michael Fassbender in case you didn't know who she is,
so she's Rockets, fun Is and this one's coming back.
We also have a teenage drama called Love.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
Simon done.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Living in a world where I don't get to be
who I am.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
I deserve a great love story.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
And speaking of Josh Dumel, he's in this movie and
so is Jennifer Garner.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Gotcha?

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Those new at the box office this weekend.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Both of those are rated PG thirteen.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Coming up in your next Hollywood Outsider this morning at
seven fifty five, why was everybody crying at the table?

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Reads for the final season of Game of Thrones?

Speaker 11 (16:54):
Up to date with Jody's Hollywood Outsider, and.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Since tomorrow is Saint Patti's Day, I like to see
you sound like a pirate when.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
That's not the right.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
We're doing all of our little celebrating right now. And
in case you missed Carol's call last hour, really cool
dessert idea, we've got it at Murphy Samon Jody dot
com and simple way to just do something minty, green
and delicious.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah, okay, are you guys ready? It's funny games time.
We're playing a game, Sam. I know that I used
to win all the time and then all of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Let's just rub it in here.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
No, I switched the games up. Sam's killing It has
been a winner. All your Your useless trivia has been
paying off.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
So I'm nervous useless trivia. I just knew every do.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
I've been telling us for years you have useless trivia.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
In your game.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
My mind is a font of useless knowledge.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Okay, so let's put it to work.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Well.

Speaker 8 (17:51):
Producer Bailey came up with this game. These are his
trivia questions and answers, so it works out. This one's
called name the Patrick. Okay, I'm gonna give you a discret,
and you're gonna give me the full name of this
person whose name is Patrick.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Oh no, uh huh oh wow. Here we go.

Speaker 8 (18:05):
It starts off really easy. Number one, just we're going
to shut out the answer. One lives under a starfish Sam.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Okay, Well, my gosh, Sam, does it.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Break the rules for him to cut you off before
you actually?

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Whatever? Alright? Question two star of Dirty Dancing.

Speaker 2 (18:28):

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Patrick Swayze's called name the Patrick.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
Number three plays make Dreamy Ontomy.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
For the full question all right.

Speaker 8 (18:44):

Your Mother.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I didn't hear any of that.

Speaker 4 (18:51):

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Time with Jody. I'll give it.

Speaker 4 (18:54):

all right. Question number Captain Jean Luke Picard. Yes, sorry, Murphy,
there go.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
We're tied one. Uh huh, but you also have the

Speaker 8 (19:12):
Question six famously said give me liberty or give your
death Henry.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yes, Sam, tie game, guys, Washington. That was fun. That
was hard and fun. Yeah, I couldn't think of any
more Patrick's well, Bailey couldn't. This is his game.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
That's okay, very cool. Enjoyed it, hope you enjoy playing along.
So wait, if we're all tied up, can we redeem
ourselves next?

Speaker 8 (19:39):
Yes, we'll have a different set of questions, a different
type of trivia game, so we can break this tie
and again an ultimate work.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
See that next.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
And may the luck of the Irish be with you and.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
Also with you.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Okay, I'm sorry, that's an Irish Catholic joke.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Yes, that's right, Sam. Tomorrow is how to joke about that?
Why we just okay, tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Day today.
But you know, if it's it's Friday, you know we
won't be doing Saint Patrick's Day stuff with you tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
So let's do it now, all right, funny games time,
It's time to redeem ourselves. We all tied up on
the last name that Patrick game, So David, let's go.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
You know what, you could play both of these games
at your Saint Patty's Day party if you wanted to, yeah,
saying this.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Where did you hear this awesome game with Murphy Salmon?

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Joe?

Speaker 8 (20:26):
Okay, this tie break around is a little bit more
of have to do with Saint patri to Day itself.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
But first I want to start things off with little
joke to attention right now?

Speaker 8 (20:34):
Okay, all right, why don't you iron four leaf clovers?

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Why you don't want to press your luck?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
All right? Like that?

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Why don't we get to the game?

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Day?

Speaker 4 (20:50):
All right, to the game.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
You don't let him? Fully, Sam's gonna used that one tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (20:54):
Yeah, hey, kids, all right, Question one, round one? Tell
me what was the occupation of Saint Patrick?

Speaker 1 (21:04):
He was a saint?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
No, they got the snakes out of Ireland.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
He was like a janitor or something he was. He
was a serious worker or something. Incorrect all around? He
was a priest?

Speaker 9 (21:19):
What?

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Oh well I thought I thought before whatever? Okay, it
was a saint, it was all right.

Speaker 8 (21:30):
Name the famous city that dies the river green?

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Correct, Jody, all right.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
Name the city that has hosted the first recorded Saint
Patrick's Day parade?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Incorrect? Murphy? Do you have a guy?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
I have no idea where it's Boston? A drop kick
Murphy's in the movie They departed.

Speaker 8 (21:54):
All right, and I believe someone already said this, but
legend says Saint Patrick banished these from Ireland.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Sakes, Sam, I got it.

Speaker 8 (22:01):
All right, Sam, you got the point for that one,
all right. Last question, name the plant that used by
Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity?

Speaker 4 (22:08):
Three three leave clover? Incorrect? Sham rock, Thank you Sam.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Correct answer is technically the clover is the white flower.

Speaker 8 (22:19):
Right, Okay, congratulations Sam, you are the lucky David.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Coming up next with Murphy, Sam and Jody.

Speaker 3 (22:29):

am super excited to wear.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I have always loved masks my whole life, just the
eye masks. I found a very green, shiny, pretty eye
mask and I am just gonna big fat wear it
all day Saturday.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
I can't wait to wear that is good. Yeah.

Speaker 12 (23:45):
Also, I like that Pokemon Day costume. I mean Pokemon
date skit, So I get what's confused all the time.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
That's okay, there's so many.

Speaker 12 (23:54):
Yeah, my favorite Pokemon is right to because the long

Yeah.

Speaker 12 (24:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:10):

you can find it, the cutest green pants.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Yes's only the cute though. They gotta be cute.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
So William, I gotta I gotta ask you this. If
you don't wear green on Saint Patrick's Day, what happens? Gotcha?

Speaker 4 (24:33):

for calling.

Speaker 12 (24:36):

Speaker 1 (24:37):
He's gonna be celebrating in a big way tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
All green, all the time.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
How do you take some dress up tips from William?

Speaker 4 (24:43):
We got a message on our Facebook page.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
You know, I'm making some sort of greenish dessert tonight,
and I'm talking about using Andy's Mint to top them
off like Brownie's. This is from Annie on our Facebook page,
herd you might make Andy's Mint brownies this weekend. Andy's
makes baking chick already choked. Oh that's right, the perfect
for your topping. You can find them in the baking
iron owl near the chips happy baking.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
So thank you, Annie.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
We do know how that works. They're meant for baking,
but you're going to, you know.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Buy a bag for baking and a bag for eating.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Sam has music news.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Well, guys, it looks like Hoodie's getting the band back together.
I mean the blowfish.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (25:24):
Sam's gotten music news.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Gang Hoodie Darius Rucker, he is getting the Blowfish back together.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Now, almost everything he does sounds like Hooty because he
sounds like Hoody.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
It's a technicality because the Hoody and the Blowfish do
play once a year at their homegrown concert in Charleston.
Once a year though, and Darius Rutger has his own
country career, so he's touring around.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
But it's so good.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Jason Aldan, the country artist, has High Noon Neon tour
his his tour this summer. One of the stops is
going to be in Atlanta, and so they thought, what
a great idea. We'll get Hooty and the Blowfish to
open for Jason Aldean one stop July, call me first.
In Atlanta, Hoody and the Blowfish are going to get
together and play for Jason.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Alden to start nice concertin way if you're.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
One, if you're wondering, that is a Saturday night, So yes,
thank you, good news.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
There have upon Jovi show coming up with some girlfriends
and it's on a Sunday night.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Dear John, Sunday night is hard for working women.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
But break out the little violins.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
I'm excited to go. But Sunday night.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Hey, look, if he can do it, you can do it.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Woa wow.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
I have to be here early the next morning.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I told you that coming out next month, they're going
to have the big Grammy concert they salute to Elton
John on CBS well right before that. And this is
really cool. They're going to release a two CD set
called Revamp and Restoration. All these artists covering Elton John songs.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Revamp is artists like Miley Cyrus and Pink and Lady Gaga.
Restoration is going to be Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, current
country artist covering than songs. So you're gonna get to
hear oh Demi Levado doing this one really yeah, and
you're gonna Benning the Jets, Candle in the Wind from

(27:11):
Ed Sheeran, your song from Gaga, Sam Smith's Gonna make
Us Cry with Daniel Wow's. So it's gonna be a
two CD and that's coming out April the sixth. It's
called Revamp and Restauran.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I'm excited about that because those songs stand up period.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Okay, And just a little behind the scenes action here,
you know. Justin Timberlay kicked off his tour in Toronto
earlier this week. I got the set list right here
from the tour you in addition to some stuff from
the new album. You're gonna get sexy back, You're gonna
get suit and tie, Crime of River, Mirrors, and the
concert's gonna end with.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I just like the Super Bowls, right, I mean that
should be the encore. That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Yeah. Man, got a fifteen fece band, horn, sections that dancers,
all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
You got your tickets, Good luck.

Speaker 11 (27:56):
Merphy Music News.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Are joining us anytime.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
Eight seven seven three one zero four six seven five.

to reach out, want to correct us on something, ask
a question, you know, get Sam's phone number, I mean,

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Thank you for calling Patty, Hey, no problem.

Speaker 13 (28:40):
I just wanted to chime in on something that you
all were talking about other day. Okay, on American idol,
Justin Larini I think is his last name. Yes, well,
I don't know if you've noticed these doctor Pepper commercials
that have been out for the last year or two
with this little tiny guy, little miniature man that's just Worini.

(29:01):
Really oh cool pepper commercial.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
He's a little cowboy that rides in and he's the
cans are bigger than him.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Oh my gosh, yeah, my goodness, I know very straight.
I've not seen this, but I know he does. He
still have great curls.

Speaker 13 (29:16):
Yeah, yeah, he's well, he's not new as bad as
they had him, you know, back in the day. And
he's twenty five years older now, you know, right, I
like his severals, Like I just stumbled on to that info.
I don't know where. I just saw it somehow, and
I thought and then I started looking at him when
I would see the commercial. I started paying attention and like,
oh my god, that is him.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Yeah, totally gig.

Speaker 13 (29:40):
You know, she's not as good as Kelly, but you
know he's got pay Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
And you know what if he would have won and
she was she came in second, she's still maybe where
she is Yeah, probably so.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
In that we hope.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
God, if we've learned anything from this oversaturation of singing
competitions that we've had for a couple of decades now,
it's there are a lot of great singers, but does
the perfect storm happen that you get the right song
and the right backing and the right moment that it's released, like,
you know, all of that stuff has to line up.

Speaker 13 (30:15):
Her connection with Reeba. I think she would have gone
far no matter what because reba' is a great mentor
and she couldn't see.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Talent, you know. I know that she was the superstar
to come out of that first one, but I didn't
know that Justin was in those commercials.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
He's called a little sweet sweet?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Did someone asked for this no cow sweetness.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Of diet doctor Pepper?

Speaker 11 (30:36):
That was.

Speaker 6 (30:38):
Just take a sip.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
If you watched that first season, which I didn't do,
he was favored almost.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
I thought he was going to last episode.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Like and the guy can sing, it's just and she
came back to win it and be who she is
and I'm so enjoying her on the voice.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Anyway. Thanks for the.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Call, Patty. Great hearing from you. You can call us
any time.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Coming out Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Why so many tears at the final table reads for
the final season of Game of.

Speaker 7 (31:06):
Thrones trending now Judy's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I promise we're going to get to why all the
actors were crying at the table reads reading the Game
of Thrones final season before they started filming. I promise
we're going to get to that, because that is you say,
no spoilers, of course not. I would never I'm up
to season six. Well you are, Sam. You told us
this week you're going to take a break, and now
you're racing first.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Yeah, but now it's getting good.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
I know dragons are flying around.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
I'll say that, even though I gave up watching the show,
I am curious to hear everybody was crying at the table.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Right right, right, Okay, first, a little this is us
news that will also rock you.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Sam.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
Hey, my dad, it's not with us anymore.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Oh this show.

Speaker 6 (31:52):
He's not alive, but he's with us.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Put yourself in that space for a second, and it
all most It almost was never a TV show. Yeah,
we know the guy who came up with Dan Fogelman.
Not to be confused with Berg, but Dan Fogelman wanted
it to be a motion picture. It was supposed to
be a movie and it never came together and he
shelved it. But those characters really stuck with him, and

(32:17):
rightly so I'm.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Glad he did the show because it's nice the way
that it's written, that you get the pacing kicked in
the gut every week. I don't love that it had
worked in the movie.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
You know what, maybe though in the movie theater, we
wouldn't be subject to all the crying week after week.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
There is a movie though.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
When we talked about this in the Hollywood Outside earlier
this week, they're doing a not of This is Us movie.
But he has a movie, Dan Fogelman mean about a family.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
It's a multi generational story.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
Seemed concept, same concept as a crock Pot, no different stories,
and it's going to be in theaters in September. So
we'll get you ready for that one. Okay, Now to
Game of Thrones. The cast they're all at table reads
before they go to shoot all these scenes they were
working on the final eighth and final season. They were
at the table reads and it was so impactful that

(33:06):
many of them started to cry. And then honestly, some
of them reading their own deaths, so we know that
there is a lot of death coming.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Well, gee, there's a surprise, a surprise.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
I guess if you're the actor that didn't know that
was coming, that's where you stop and go, what wait?

Speaker 6 (33:21):
What?

Speaker 3 (33:21):
So this is a dramatic table read of six of
the final scripts, very emotional for everybody, and it was
noted that once the final one was read, and this
is the first time they'd seen this stuff and they
turned it over, several of them stood up and applauded
for like fifteen minutes.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
It's that good.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
I'm so ready, but it's not going to be here
until twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Oh, Winter's coming up to date.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
With Judy's Hollywood Outside on the Way and your next
Outsider at eight thirty, we've got an update on how
Fergie is doing since that sultry national anthem and how
her ex husband feels about it.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
All right, ready for Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow. I should
have worn our green today just to kind of set
the tone.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
I thought of that, and I really but I wanted
to save my favorite green for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Yeah, Hey, what do you call a leprechaun? The ghosts
of jail.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I don't know, Sam, what do you call a leprechaun
that goes to jail?

Speaker 4 (34:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
I was going to guess something, but a leprechawn.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Oh ha ha, that's funny. I was gonna say a
short timer.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Ah well what Yeah, that's a good one too. Okay, cool,
all right, that's a leprechan that's getting out of jail
next week, A short time.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Yeah, Charity, we should move on.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Okay, are you ready?

Speaker 3 (34:45):
I have so many fun things and great things and
entertainment to share with you this week. But man, yesterday
this kind of shook me up. And we were doing
this in the Hollywood Outsider about the creator of This
is Us.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
He Van Fogelberg.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
His name Miss fogel Men, Dan fogel Men.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
You can see how that would get confused. Somebody probably
calls him that, you know, probably saying something.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Okay, this is Us was not his first thing.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
He brought us something called Crazy Stupid Love on the
Big Screen, which was a movie with movie Steve Carrell
and Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and Miss Stone. And
that was helm that was the creator of This is Us.
And he had thought of that This is Us Pearson Family,
and he remembered it, wrote it down and then shelved it.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
It didn't happen.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
He was going to make it as a movie too,
So it was going to be a movie, and but
those characters stuck with him, and rightly so, Dan, rightly so.
But he's also been working on another movie. And so
from the creator of This Is Us, there is a
cinematic love story coming to theaters.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
It's called Tales from the Crockpot.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
No this September called Life Itself.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
You're ever gonna ask me out?

Speaker 10 (35:53):
Well, I'm just waiting for the right moment, because when
I ask you out, there's not going to be any
turning back for me. Strange with think about how completely
of our endom moment but shaped my entire life.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
It sounds like this.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Are you ready for this?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
It's a multi generational love story, spamming decades and continents, sparring.
Olivia Wilde is in this, sam Annette Benning, Samuel L. Jackson,
Antonio Banderas look for it in September, Murphy Salm and Jody.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
All Right, coming up, So somebody asked us to stop
talking rather abruptly. That's coming up next and with the
weekend almost here at Saint Patrick's Weekend, you know, it's
a great time to catch up when you pop in
your earbuds on anything you might have missed here on
Murphy Salmon, Jody on the podcast, listen on your schedule
makes it really easy.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
We had a really cool thing happened this week for
our Murphy, Sam and Jody family here, and that is
that we won an radio industry award together. And so
we went to this ceremony and we were told we
might when we knew we're up or something, and so
on the way there, like I remember, like in the elevator,

(37:05):
Murphy going, Okay, well I'm gonna Jody, you start right.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
You're like Joe, you go first? Or should we win?

Speaker 1 (37:11):
What Jody's saying is, if we were winning, right exactly,
you kind of mentally want to prepare for an acceptance speech,
right if you win. You don't know that you're going to,
but you really don't want to be caught off guard, right, right.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
So I was going to say something to start, and
I knew what I was gonna say, and then you
were going to say something also, Murphy, you were ready
in your way and.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Were you gonna.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I was still working on my funny make the crowd laugh, and.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Usually that would work. And it's the kind of thing
that All Inclusive probably would have wrapped in what thirty
seconds maybe and we would and yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Yeah, that would have been cool.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
And so we were ready for that and I felt
confident about that, and then we started to eat. It
was it was a luncheon, and so we started to eat.
I wasn't even paying attention, and Murphy's like, did you
hear that?

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Like, no, yeah, I'm really glad that. I'm glad that
somebody was listening to the table Jody was. You know,
it was just I'm visiting with somebody and the speaker
up there saying, look, you know, in these categories, there
is not going to be any acceptance speeches.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
This year's trying to keep this thing fast because there were.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
You know, about what maybe twenty different twenty twenty categories,
and so in the interest of keeping it brief for everybody,
you know, some of the longtime Lifetime Achievement Awards were
going to be the one, the big one you want
to speak, and then you know, the others just kind
of come up, take a picture and Smitch the award
and sit But I really and I was relieved, honestly
at that moment because I'm like, yeah, because I.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Kind of wanted to say what I was thinking of saying. Really,
but I was a little bit bummed. But then again, yeah,
let's eat.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I was happy because sometimes when I try to do
the sam humor and those situations, yeah, it's not the same.
Just get a bunch of blank stares people that don't
know you.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
I disagree.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
What did he say?

Speaker 4 (38:45):
I disagree. I think you're great with a crowd. I
think you're great with the crowd.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
But anyway, Yeah, it was weird because that we won
this year, this time, and it was the first year
they cut out speeches and we were so ready.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
It's like, man, we're ready, I tell you.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
But I wanted to say something actually very sweet about
you guys that I don't know.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
You know, Can I do what I was going to
say in the speech now?

Speaker 2 (39:08):
We don't have time.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
In the after the show podcast? Can we do it today?

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Yeah, that's a good idea.

Speaker 5 (39:18):
Jodie's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Remember at the NBA All Star Game, the beginning of it,
where Fergie sang a very sultry national anthem.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
Oh, Kenny, it was fine at person and.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
It got really barroom like, yeah, here it is. You
do something like that and the world seems a little
uncomfortable with it. You pay for it in terms of
Twitter because everybody is such a critic. So it's a
it's a really hard mistake to make. Fergie's ex husband,
Josh Jummel finally speaking out about her national anthem number one.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
He knows she can sing it.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
He doesn't know why she chose to do it in
that way, but he's got her back and he was
there for her. We know that he brought her flowers
the day after, when you know, the world was kind
of crashing down. But he also said to everybody in
the world and all the haters or the trolls, she's
a tough girl and she'll be back. And I like
your idea, Sam of letting her sing it again sometime
soon and just do the version.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
Will know you can do.

Speaker 11 (40:19):
Murphy, Sam and Jody, you are a Hollywood emsider.

to kind of help you out. You know, good ideas,
crazy pace and you still need to at a little
something that's actually good for you.

Speaker 3 (40:33):
This came to this to my life and in my
brain because of motherhood and the fact that I would
never think of starting a day without a little bite
of something. But the kids whatever, I don't feel like
eating now, and you send them off to school and
they're like, there are days when they don't eat breakfast,
and it just makes me want to eat my brain,
it's like, you've got to eat something, right, You're about

(40:54):
