Speaker 1 (00:00):
Murphy Samy Jody after the show and earlier, Jody was
mentioning the couple that we saw crash. Remember that Jody
said making out, Well.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Well, they were making out. They were making out hard
and heavy.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
But making out is an umbrella statement that can encompass
a lot of different things. They were kissing intimately is
what they were doing, and it was and it was lasting.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah, that's not making out. It's funny to you, but
kissing intimately is funny to me.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Well, it was excessive kissing because it literally didn't stop like.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It was movie kissing.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah, it was beyond movie. It was CON's Olympics.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
But what's funny about that is that we were leaving
dinner and we were getting into the car and they
were behind us in the parking lot and they were
just saying goodbye. It was obvious they were saying goodbye.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
And it was nothing. It was nothing inappropriate.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
It just that we saw it.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
It was one of those things that it just lasted longer.
It wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
They've not been married for twenty years, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
We did it last longer? Or did it the you
two staring at it last too long?
Speaker 2 (01:04):
No? Because we looked away and drove away, and we
couldn't resist the look back again, and they were still
at it.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
That's that mean?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Because I remember I had over the course of about
five minutes, I had a chance to go from man,
they're getting after it to wow.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
They're still getting after it.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Huh. Yeah, Jody, I can't believe it.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
But they're still getting after it, like.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
If the kids would have been with us, like look
at this, look at something else.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
So yeah, And the thing is, I'm not one to
assume the negative or any of those things. But Jody
and I do fabricate are a little We've always done that.
I don't know why, Jody and any we kind of
create stories.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Well actually you create the story and then I try
to bring you back to it could be, but it
could also be there.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
It just cracks me up because I mean, I'm looking
and thinking, judging from the age and the fact that
this was kind of an unusual parking lot for this
to be going on for as long as it was,
I wondered, possibly.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Are these two people who are seeing each other on
the Q past, you know what I mean? Is it
a stolen moment? You know? Yeah, Well, as the songs
of the seventies used to say like a.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Stolen moments, a stolen moment under a head, you know,
a parking lot lamp, because it was they were illuminated
for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
And so, you know, I mean because two adults typically,
I mean, if you're going to be in an embrace
for that long, you certainly don't have to be doing
it in the parking lot at the restaurant. You could
be doing that at home. You could be you know
what I mean, or wherever.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
You know, you take that home.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
And Jody's like, well, maybe they're just seeing each other,
you know, saying goodbye. Maybe he's going away for a
long time. I'm like, right, yeah, so they're leaving. The
last place they're going to be is the restaurant parking lot.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
If you're having this big intimate, we're not going to
see each other for months, you know, you do that
at home.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
We may tay, guys, calm down, it's not in the
parking lot. This look, there's so many in six months.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
I gotta get in my car now, which is right
behind me.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
I was thinking. And it may have been like a
first kiss, and that was so wonderful for both of
them that they just couldn't let up.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
And maybe unexpected that is the sweet thing.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Maybe it was a couple that has been through a
lot and they've just found each other. That I mean separately,
they've been through lots.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
See how we make up stories.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
And there's fun in that, though.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I know we've we've done that for years. We passed
by certain houses in our old neighborhood and he'll go,
there's the house with the guy whose wife left him.
It's like, we don't know.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
That I've done this before. Like you know, while you're
eating or taking a few minutes out at a music festival,
you sit on the ground and there's thousand people and
you just start making up stories about them that are
probably untrue. If somebody's yelling at somebody or nagging or
they're whatever, and it's like, oh, you know what that is, right,
and you've got the whole life laid out for them.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, isn't that funny? Your mind wants a story goes
to a story.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Well, the reason that the one that Jody laughs about
a lot is the couple that I was drive by
the house and would say, gods so said that they're divorced.
I hate to see that and It's like, I don't
know this guy, but.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
They moved in and then moved out.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
We know what they moved in, No what they what
happened is yeah, Jody's right, they moved in. But what
happened is there were two cars. Then there was a
for sale sign, and then the first sale sign disappeared,
and then there was only one car that remained.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
So he wrote the story from there over here.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
So one of them bought the other one out and
stayed in the house during the divorce.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
See exactly, Sam. Pretty simple to me. I don't even
have to know them to know that's what happened. Yeah, yeah,
I'm talking about anyway.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
I do think that this couple that made you excited
yet uncomfortable, I think they it could have been a
first date like kiss. If you were on a first
date and it's been a long time for all of us,
not as long for you, Sam, but and you have
a kiss, that's not good, it's quick. But if you
have a kiss that's good, that's working. You stay with it.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Right. Also two Okay, I don't want to really be
Devil's advocate here because congratulations to the two of them.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, they would enjoying themselves.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
If it's the first date, I wouldn't kiss was talking lot.
Would it really go that long? It would more be
like you're feeling each other out, trying to figure out
who each other is. Okay, you know to me, it
seems like a I don't know, unless there's been this
longing for a long time to get together. It would
(05:17):
just be a nice.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
And guess what. We'll never know because you don't go
up and say, so, what's going on here? Well? You know?
Speaker 1 (05:25):
So maybe it was a safe place. Let's say, for example,
it was online dating again creating another story here. Wow
that Yeah, it was a neutral location for them to meet.
Neither wanted to meet necessarily at their place, and so.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
They had just finished eating too a dark parking lot.
It was well lit. I could tell you what shirt
he was wearing.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Is different though it really How.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Long did you two sit there?
Speaker 3 (05:53):
We didn't have to.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
It was a long walks the parking lot.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
There was some was intense kissing. It wasn't just me,
It wasn't the yeah right exactly, It was the whole. Yeah,
it was the whole.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
It was enough for us to bring it up here
and talk about it.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
It was a movie embrace. It was a Hollywood embrace.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
That funny. How you love that? To see it on
the screen, it's fabulous, But if in reality with you,
you're kind of like.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
And if it's it's funny because it's again to adults,
which is fine. It's great to adults, but you don't
expect to see.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
That, you know.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I have a friend long ago, when she first jumped
on social media, she posted once she was like, I
was sitting at the park with my kids and these
two grown adults definitely over forty making out in the
car at the park. She's like, stop it, you losers.
She was so mad. She was chastising somebody that she'd
(06:47):
just seen on you know, doing that. It's just weird
when you see that, because it's not you know, you
remember it.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
It's not normal, right to see and see nothing.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
It's not normal. It's not normal to see it in public.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
And that's to get so the car in the park.
I would think there's a chance, it's a chance making a.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Suspect thing, right, It's like we've been married for twenty years, honey,
I'm tired of this view. Let's go to the park
for our anniversary.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Leave our comfany home and go.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Sit in the park, right like we were teenagers?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
So did y'all. You never talked to him or anything
or something.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I wasn't about to invade their problem.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
We had too much fun making up home.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, I bet you. We drive by there now. They're
probably still kissing.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Right, she missed any part of the show? Y'all at
