release four brand news stories associated with the Wizarding World
of Harry Potter.

little and the first time they draw something for you

when our oldest daughter Taylor was making those bracelets, Jody

when silly bands were in. I mean, she she made some,
and I care. Actually I still have one, I think
in my backpack over here somewhere.

But she made a big dad show.

She made me a big one, and I wore them
to big company meetings and stuff like that, just because
you know, it's she made it for me. I'm a
proud daddy and I'm earning that. And so now, I
mean I kind of have the same silly thing going
on right now, but I didn't bring it in here
with me just now. But so when Taylor went to
New York City and brought back some souvenirs, she decided

that what she went in for me was just this
little back pack. Yah. The man person that Jody called it,
it's a satchel, and so you know, and it says
New York and it's okay, it's touristy. But I like it.
And it's not just because I like the bag. It's
because when I see it there, I want to use it.
Because she brought it to me. It's one of it's
a daddy things.

She put thought into it for you because she, honestly,
she knows that you have a lot of stuff. You
are sort of and please don't misunderstand the term you
your little high maintenance because you have a lot of stuff.
You have a blood sugar meter, you have a smart watch,

lot of stuff.

I think that would have worked too. Daniel Radcliffe was
in talks. Can you see that? But it ended up
being Tarran and rightly so, they say this is not
it's not exactly a BIOPI like you expect, although they
tell you his story. It's very human, But they didn't
They wanted to make it different than Bohemian Rhapsody, So

it's more of a musical and so it's a lot
of the music carries on throughout the film, and the
music always has something to do with the scene that's happening.

Now we also have another action sci fi I didn't
know this was coming. I didn't realize that. But Millie
Bobby Brown is the star Godzilla, King of the Monsters.

chores is to let the dogs out when they need
to go outside to the bathroom. Saturday mornings, I'm not

and I tell Alexa to play who Let the Dogs Out?
And as soon as it switches to the song, my
daughter immediately paddles over to the back door to let

his own vocals as Elton John here, and it's a
movie musical, so it's a little different. I guess. The
thing is they've been trying to make this movie for

five or six years. Elton's been involved, and when they
first started it was just and Timberlake. They wanted to
play Elton John. Can you imagine that. I think he's
too big of a name to have played. Yeah, you'd
be seeing justice.

That would have distracted. I mean he did that video
for an Elton song, which that one he just lip
sync because it was really Elton.

And that was a long time ago.

became Elton. It took them a long time to finally

And it'll be four nights, five days.

Yeah, but Joni's actually counting the minutes on this as
mom on this one, you really have even when your
young one becomes fourteen, it's tough to kind.

Of love because I know her. She's not the wanderlust
adventurer that Taylor is. She's more of a homebody and
that's great. I do know that this is necessary for
her to grow. I want her to succeed away from home.
You know, I'm not one who wants to keep her
with me.

I know that this is our job is to show.
I don't want her to be scared of the world.

Right, Taylor's never done that. So she likes she's going
to be that kind of family tracker. Yeah, not funny.

You guys were talking this morning about kids getting homesick
and everything when they're out longer than they're accustomed to. Yes,
I used to be Yeah, I used to be a
Scout master and boy Scouts started at the age of ten.

Yes, And when they go out to summer camp every year,
for a lot of these kids, it's the first time
they've ever been away from home for any significant length
of time. It was an entire week. There's a couple
of things I can tell you about it. Number One,
as Scout leaders, we would keep them so busy throughout
the entire day that they would just pass out and
(29:18):
go to sleep. The other thing about it is is
they hated leaving mom or dad, and they had to
practically be drug away from their parents beyond day one.
But on the last day they didn't want to leave camp. Yeah,
you know, they went from being little kids who'd never
been away from home to you know, the beginnings of
(29:41):
fine young men who will end up being very good
for the experience. So I'm all for letting them go
cut lucy aprons, springs strings, you know, let them have
some fun, let them have their heads, so to speak,
because they really really, they really really really need that. Absolutely,
it's oftentimes harder on the parent than it is on
(30:03):
the kid, trust.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Me, right.
Speaker 9 (30:05):
I mean I've seen many parents crying as they're getting
back in their cars, drop when they drop their kids
off the camp. It's very common. But what hurts more
is when they go to pick your kid up and
the kid doesn't want to leave.

Yeah, Mom and dad.
Speaker 9 (30:22):
Think they're going to be rushing home. Yeah, and they're
not in any rush to get home. And now you
may not want them back though, even though you packed
him a week's worth of clothes, they generally only spend
time in one set.

Yeah, I love it.

Well, thank you for the reassurance and the call. I
appreciate you so much.

that was my first experience with homesickness. What's being a

my BlackBerry cobbler. It's a homemade recipe that is so easy.
You fix this for people and they think you're you know,
Pauladine or something, and it's so easy, you know, it's
so super easy. So BlackBerry cobbler my homemade recipe. You

put a thing of blackberries into the into a dish,
turn the oven on.

Clean them first. Huh.

Yeah, you clean a little little spray thing.

Yeah, you doing like we were kids. You'd pick them
off the bush and blow on them, blow the bugs out.

So you were there when I was growing up, well.

I mean we had there was never mind there was
one bush in the city.

Anyway, In a separate ball, you mix up flour, sugar,
and one egg. Can you stir that up until it's
kind of like it's like a corn meal almost. You
sprinkle that on top of the blackberries, and it's four cups.

There's no crust underneath, no.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
And then you you pour some melted butter on top
and stick it in the Oven's that's all it is.
It is delicious, served with ice cream. Okay, get the

big snapping turtle going in and out from our wood

to get back to her nest. Suddenly, two men with
garbage cans in a broom came running to try to

beat her into the can. I ran out, yelling for
them to stop, and they tried to convince me she
was vicious and would try to attack my rottweiler. I not, yeah,
I not so nicely told them to get off my
property and leave my turtle alone get back to her nest.
I've rescued so many from the roads, gas stations. I
feel your love for the turtles nice and scary.

New York City and brought back some souvenirs, she decided

because when I see it there, I want to use it.

play Elton John. Can you imagine that. I think he's
too big of a name to have played. Yeah, you'd

And it'll be four nights, five days.

mom on this one, you really have even when your
young one becomes fourteen, it's tough to kind.

Of love because I know her. She's not the wanderlust
adventurer that Taylor is. She's more of a homebody and
that's great. I do know that this is necessary for
her to grow. I want her to succeed away from home.
You know, I'm not one who wants to keep her
with me.

I know that this is our job is to show.
I don't want her to be scared of the world.

Right, Taylor's never done that. So she likes she's going
to be that kind of family tracker. Yeah, not funny.

You guys were talking this morning about kids getting homesick
and everything when they're out longer than they're accustomed to. Yes,
I used to be Yeah, I used to be a
Scout master and boy Scouts started at the age of ten.

Yes, And when they go out to summer camp every year,
for a lot of these kids, it's the first time
they've ever been away from home for any significant length
of time. It was an entire week. There's a couple
of things I can tell you about it. Number One,
as Scout leaders, we would keep them so busy throughout
the entire day that they would just pass out and
(29:18):
go to sleep. The other thing about it is is
they hated leaving mom or dad, and they had to
practically be drug away from their parents beyond day one.
But on the last day they didn't want to leave camp. Yeah,
you know, they went from being little kids who'd never
been away from home to you know, the beginnings of
(29:41):
fine young men who will end up being very good
for the experience. So I'm all for letting them go
cut lucy aprons, springs strings, you know, let them have
some fun, let them have their heads, so to speak,
because they really really, they really really really need that. Absolutely,
it's oftentimes harder on the parent than it is on
(30:03):
the kid, trust.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Me, right.
Speaker 9 (30:05):
I mean I've seen many parents crying as they're getting
back in their cars, drop when they drop their kids
off the camp. It's very common. But what hurts more
is when they go to pick your kid up and
the kid doesn't want to leave.

Yeah, Mom and dad.
Speaker 9 (30:22):
Think they're going to be rushing home. Yeah, and they're
not in any rush to get home. And now you
may not want them back though, even though you packed
him a week's worth of clothes, they generally only spend
time in one set.

Yeah, I love it.

Well, thank you for the reassurance and the call. I
appreciate you so much.

that was my first experience with homesickness. What's being a

Pauladine or something, and it's so easy, you know, it's
so super easy. So BlackBerry cobbler my homemade recipe. You

put a thing of blackberries into the into a dish,
turn the oven on.

Clean them first. Huh.

Yeah, you clean a little little spray thing.

Yeah, you doing like we were kids. You'd pick them
off the bush and blow on them, blow the bugs out.

So you were there when I was growing up, well.

I mean we had there was never mind there was
one bush in the city.

Anyway, In a separate ball, you mix up flour, sugar,
and one egg. Can you stir that up until it's
kind of like it's like a corn meal almost. You
sprinkle that on top of the blackberries, and it's four cups.

There's no crust underneath, no.

And then you you pour some melted butter on top
and stick it in the Oven's that's all it is.
It is delicious, served with ice cream. Okay, get the

big snapping turtle going in and out from our wood

to get back to her nest. Suddenly, two men with
garbage cans in a broom came running to try to

beat her into the can. I ran out, yelling for
them to stop, and they tried to convince me she
was vicious and would try to attack my rottweiler. I not, yeah,
I not so nicely told them to get off my
property and leave my turtle alone get back to her nest.
I've rescued so many from the roads, gas stations. I
feel your love for the turtles nice and scary.

That's the trailer for season three Stranger Things. I think
you know we shared that with you last week because
it was just so fun. It's the funniest trailer ever
with a lad boy Billy climbing up on the lifeguard
chair and all the moms are.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Like, But that's also where you see a can of
new coke.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
Yeah, she's sipping it because it's the summer of nineteen
eighty five, this is set, so it's perfect. So yeah,
Coca Cola partnered with Stranger Things and you could buy
New Coke for a limited time online only. It's not
going to be in stores as far as I understand.
So I bought some for us, for Murphy, Sam and Jody,
and it should be y'all. Okay, so it should be.
(44:29):
I want to taste New Coke again. You know why
I told you the story. I only had New Coke once. Okay,
I had it once and I liked it. What did
I know? I was a kid, and then they took
it away. Wow, So anyway, you.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
Know, I mean it's I enjoyed it. It was sweeter.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
I love regular Cokes.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
In the back of my head, I still wonder what
you know? Was it an accident or was it just
one of the best marketing plans of all times?
Speaker 4 (44:52):
Well, I will tell you that some of the gurus
foodies at Food and Wide magazine tasted New Coke again
with them bringing it back out out and here's some
of the reviews. Sweeter and smoother than original, a coke
less and the carbonation isn't as strong. Uh huh okay,
taste like gummy candies shaped and coke bottles like those
as bad as I remember that I refused to. But
(45:16):
we're gonna get some special career thinks coke stuff and
we're gonna get new coke.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
Purfey. I'm still perplexed by what you said earlier. Okay,
I brought up the fact that I finally, after years
of him and Han, bought some of these window shades
for my car, the shiny silver ones, and they don't work.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
The nineteen ninety line worked.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
Fine, but I just don't use them anymore.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
But you said I have to point it towards the
sun or something to really taken.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
Well, No, I'm just saying your car has to be
If you've only got a shade in the front window,
then if the sun's coming in the front, that's where
you're gonna get the best.
Speaker 4 (45:49):
You need to buy a bunch more.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Why you should put them in two. But I'm not
crawling in the back every day to.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Put a and that's so that's why it's not working.
You wait, so you actually bought a set. They came
to in a PA and you're using one and complaining
that it's not working. Get up mine. The kind that
I had, and I hadn't used it in so long
was just the Accordion one. It was the easiest thing
in the world to deal with because you just collapsed
it and put the little elastic man and you were done.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
That's the problem I'm having too. Another reason I've never
used it for four days. And yeah, because this is
a circle kind as soon as you're you open it
and you're trying to close it, and I look like
a fool sitting in the parking lot wrestling with this thing. Look,
I can't tell you when I did have a set
like that one time. I can't tell you how many
(46:35):
egg mc muffins and coffees that I lost trying to,
you know, put it to because it would pop right
back open.
Speaker 4 (46:40):
I have a solution for you, Sam, that will not
call you a solution. Now here's the solution, garbage. You
get here so early, you have your pick of parking spots.
There is there are a couple of completely shaded spots
that you're not hitting and you need to.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
