Sam, the prankster, pulled a "harmless" prank at Jodi's expense this morning. It was HILARIOUS to us, but did she think it was funny? Will she let it go, or seek out revenge?

Thank you for being a Murphy, Salmon and Jody podcast subscriber.
This is after the show some exclusive fun. We just
kind of keep going on and with it being April
Fool's weekend here some whole weekend. Well, you know, Sam,
if we're up to Sam, we'd probably make it the
whole weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'd make it the whole bit.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
You're gonna play tricks on the kids like you did
me earlier.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
You know that would be fun. The problem with the
k okay, the trick I played on you, and you
can catch the YouTube video at our Murphy Salm and
Jody YouTube video was the.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
The rubber roaches, which, by the way, Sam does every
year and Jody falls for it every single year.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I'm sorry, once a year if a roach appears on
your laptop, you're gonna be spooked by it.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, but just so you know, E when your scream
scared me, I had looked away. I knew that Sam
would put the roaches, rubber roaches there. I ugd wavers,
and when you screamed.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I jumped at home. I have rubber roaches around the
house already. I got I glue magnets on them and
I put them on the fridge and just places, so
the kids are used to rubber roaches in the house,
so it may not throw them off.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Right, Jody, I'm sorry this is at your expense, but
I have been waiting an entire year for this because
last year we tried this. We tried the same prank. Okay,
but the camera's my fault, my fault. The cameras weren't rolling,
and you screamed we had them in your headphone so loud,
and I also upset with myself. So I'm sorry that happened,
but it was so good.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
It was on my headphone last year.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I remember inside your headphone and when you opened up.
And I do remember last year after we did it,
that you and producer Emily tried to get me back
with the roaches a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
And it never worked. I'd walk in and be like, huh.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I put it on your sandwich.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Because he's got a house full of rubber roaches. Of
course he's used to them. You know What's what cracks
me up about this is Sam has always been the
April Fools practical joker, and I never have been. I
don't know, just because I don't want to hurt people's feelings. Now,
I've done things like I've glued the quarter to the
cement in that kind of stuff. Tricked with that one.
It's which is which is funny. But I've never done anything.
Have ever pranked? Do you like that?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Jody?

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I know, and I'm sure that you probably would think twice.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Right.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Let me tell you this, the girls love it though.
Our kids love April Fools. Expect some pranks tomorrow and
if you really want to get them, get on it now.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
You think it's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
You want to have some cat toys too, the little
fuzzy mice, Yes, and they looked realistic, and get them
from the pet store. Yeah. And remember our old receptionists
used to be able to go through the receptionist's desk,
pick up her handset and like put it under there
and then you call the front office. She reaches down
and grab the handset.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Right and then he Yeah, that is a Sam classic.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I always know. I love it. I mean, I'm not
upset with you, but it did scare me. Obviously, it was.
