Speaker 1 (00:04):
It is a fun Friday. Jody like to say, we
missed something earlier this week, and Jody, I didn't even
talk about this with Jody, but I wanted to bring
this up to Sam because I know how he's going
to react.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
First day of Spring.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
No, no, no, uh, I didn't miss that now, and
I think it was Tuesday. Tuesday was National Compassion Day.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Really, every day is National something Day, yes, but sometimes
there's two and three things.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
National Puppy Day yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well, but I loved National Compassion Day because I thought
of Sam immediately and actually that day when I when
I read about it, and it actually helped me because
there were some people that you know, I encountered throughout
the course of the day. They're difficult people, but they
don't mean to be that way, and and and I
handled I handled them with compassion, and you know what,
it made the day easier.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
It's not National Lie Day, but but.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I just think about Sam and National Compassion and then
his reaction, of course, is what I expected.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
I guess we need to find it because we needn't
always know kind of what day it is. I did
catch Puppy Day. I like that one a lot. And
by the way this week with us, it was riddle week, right.
He had so many really fun riddles that came in,
Producer David. They blew up on our Facebook page, right
and the website.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Yes, and we're gonna read one more final one from
One More Riddle. Australia listener John Hey.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
John John writes, Hello, David, I got a riddle for
the gang. A man shaved before going to work. While
at work, he was asked to shave four times throughout
the day, but when he got home he still had
a beard.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Why is it so? Did he shave a different part
of his body?

Speaker 5 (01:42):
That's what I asked. I said, was he shaving like
his legs? Said something or somebody else he said, hey.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Let's do it again.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
He shaved?

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Read it again, he said he While he's at work,
he shaved four times throughout the day, but when he
got home he still had a beard.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Why is it so?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Was he shaving hair or was he Oh wait, maybe
he didn't shave all of it. Maybe he just shave
the sides or something shaving so.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I think the answer must be in the very beginning.
What's the first part of that question?

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Again, David, He's had a man shaved before going to work.
While at work, he was asked to shave four times
throughout the day, but when he got home he still
had a beard.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Why is it so, I.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Say, he works out of the country. I don't know
what is it?

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Well, I asked, and John replied, he's a gentleman's barber.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Ah works, he shaves other people.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Got it?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
It's too fun? Thank you?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Yeah, we love it all right, lots of fun.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
One of our two listeners in Australia on the app.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
You got to start somewhere, all right, lots of fun
for you today. It is a fun Friday, after all.
Everybody's Friday favorites Coming up next though, in your family
Friendly box Office Review. Yes, we've got some big boys
coming on coming new today to take on the beast.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
New movies this week, Murphy, Sam and Jody Friendly box Office.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
You guys heard about the movie Life with Ryan Reynolds
and Jake Jillen Hall. This is the first time they've
worked together, and it's a space movie and it's a
horror sci fi thriller.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
You know, I know there's five guys back home. You
could do my job. Nobody can do yours except you,
and you don't know what it is, and you're in
there and you're playing around with it like it's your buddy.
I'm your buddy.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
This will never be a controlled experiment.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
So let's all agree we made our first and last mistake.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Six astronauts on board this space station to study to
study samples collective from Mars. They find that, of course
there's you know, the ability for life on Mars, but
it's super intelligent.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Oh my gosh, looks really beautiful.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
The only movie I've seen called life was actually a
science movie that I took our youngest daughter Phoebe to see.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
You one time.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
She will sleep in the movie and I'm like, wow,
So that's what's inside of a cell. Cool.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
You missed your chance for an app Okay, so that's
a big one. That's a big cast. Jake Dylan and
Ryan Reynolds in one movie. Ryan Reynolds wanted a more
leading role, but he had to take a supporting role
because he's so busy.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Deadpool Hello, Deadpool two.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
We also have this is a highly anticipated and they're
going to try to take on Beauty and the Beast.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
We'll see how the new power Rangers do.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
None of us really know each other. But we were
all in the same place when Billy found those coins.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
God, is that weird? Murphy?

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Wait for Brian Cranston.

Speaker 8 (04:32):
Say, the answer to what is happening to you is here.
You five are the Power Rangers.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, I am go get them Walter.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
It's an action adventure sci fi of course, Power Rangers.
If you loved it, it's reimagined, rebooted. It looks really good.
She is and we also have the reboot. But this
is definitely a rate at R reboot. This is not
the old TV show. Michael Pinya and DA's shepherd in Chips.

Speaker 9 (05:02):
We're the California Highway Patrols. This job, this crucial fine
without us out there.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Come on.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
It's a shame because it was such a squeaky clean
TV show in the eighties with Derek Ostrada.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Fairly a squeaky clean trailer supposed.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
To be funny, and I'm just not too sure about
this one. Life is rated our Power Rangers PG. Thirteen
and Chips is definitely rateed R.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Murphy Sam Duty Family Friendly Box Office Review.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Sam Murphy ordered something online for the weekend for the family,
and you have never seen him more excited than when
they showed up last night. Yeah, I tell you about that.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Next Love Fridays. And you know what, you can use
the weekend if you want you to catch up on
anything you might have missed on Murphy, Sam and Jodi
on the podcast. It's a great easy way to do
things on your own schedule. To subscribe.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
We had a lot of good stuff this week, like
top ten dog breeds in America.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Well what about the things that guys do. We think
it's attractive to women.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
But yeah, that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
And the hold on anything that you missed this week,
you can catch it online.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
You know.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Last weekend Phoebe had her first track meet our daughter
Phoebe and Murphy and I showed up unprepared without chairs
I had. I brought sunscreen and food, so I was
sort of prepared.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
And look, that's a common theme, not just of the
track event. That really is what jumped out to me,
but previously that Jody and I would go to something,
it's like, oh yeah, bring chairs. Were always borrowing someone
else's chairs.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
So you know, we stood there a little bit and
then we sat in my friend's chair. She was really
sweet to let us borrow, but literally I knew Murphy
was going to order chairs that afternoon.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
When we got home.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
I started to say, let's order chairs, and he was like, Alrea,
you were chairs. So he loves his sha well.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
And if I had, if I had put if I
had put it off, I'd have forgotten about it.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
It's true they showed up last night. You have never
seen anybody happier he you wanted to have. I' sposed
a picture right now at Murphy Samon Jody dot.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Jody was taking a bath. I walked in and unfolded
that chair and parked it right in the bathroom and said,
check this out.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
God, Like, okay, you can't leave that in here. You know,
he wanted these chairs like he opened every single chair
and we all had to sit in him and all that.
It's like a kid in a candy store.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Well, you know, and and Sam and I do think ILike.
Remember what Sam's first question was.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
You get the mess backs that's right, the breathable.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
The kind of breathes and you know, so it's gonna
be warm at these track meets. And so yes, the
ones that the girls are the breathable ones. But I
got one that I read it sits a little bit
higher because you know, those camping chairs are kind of weird.
They kind of cave in, so you know, it's you
don't have to be, you know, geriatric to not be
able to get out of these things. You just they're
tough to get out of. So I got what they
call a big and tall one, and it sits a

(07:44):
little it's just about a foot higher and it's easier
to get out of if I want the higher one.
Why not?

Speaker 4 (07:49):
I like sitting there.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I don't think I've ever seen those before.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
I got a higher one.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Maade by the same camping people that make all the
other stuff.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
You know.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
So now we've got all the chairs.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
You could even come.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
We have another track meet this week on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
We buy some of those ones that are like late
light loungers. They have the foot rest.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I never want to go over the top.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
We have plenty though. We don't want to be You know,
this guy has.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
A place for your cell phone too. You know what
I'm saying, it's a smartphone.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Here's a good place for you to lose your meter.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Put the smartphone.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah, very smart.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
I did. Anyway, Happy Murphy with new chairs that showed up.
We'll post the picture.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Coming up Murphy's Sam and Jody next.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah, what I can't get enough of from entertainment this week.
And I actually need you to do this with me
this weekend, Murphy. And it's kind of girly.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I love to point out the fun moments from this week.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
Jody's Friday Favorite.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
My Friday Favorite is a favorite that's been so hot
and heavy all week long because it's possibly the best
fairy tale retelling to ever come to the big screen
and I cannot wait to go again.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
And of course it's Beauty in the.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Beach you used to take your father's place the Light.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
You could almost just call this movie Beast because and
I know, Emma Watson was great, right, but to me,
to get more story of who he is and why
this happened to him was fabulous and he was so wonderful.
When I say to you, I don't even want him
to transform back into the person like I want him

(09:26):
to stay the beast so I can brush him and
pat him and dance and all that.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Did you feel that same way about the animated movie?

Speaker 3 (09:34):
No, I wanted to see him. I wanted to see
what was under the Beast. You know, I wanted to
see an armor, thinking, Oh, he's gorgeous, and I.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Guess I need to go see this with you.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yeah, that's my question, he's go see this with me? Yeah,
I want to see it again. You didn't see it
the first time.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
I don't feel that that's exceptionally girly. It's a great
Disney movie, you know, like I watched Out in Abbey
with you, so I'm already familiar with Dan.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, Hemans got rid of your man guard. Then I
seriously loved the Beast. Gaston is meaner in this one.
And I always was a fan of Gaston, and not
as much this time. I mean, he's beautiful, but really mean,
all the extras that you get, and I really don't
want to spoil a thing in the world for anybody,

(10:18):
but beauty and the Beast just blowing up and being
as perfectly remade as it possibly could have been. I
never expected to love it this much, and that's my favorite.
And I want to give you a little background right
here too. Dan Stevens, the actor who played Beast, did
all of his parts twice, once just his face with

(10:40):
all this these lights, right, but then he also did
it on stilt in the beast suit with Emma to
make all that happen, and that includes the dancing.

Speaker 10 (10:52):
Initially with the you know, with the woltz, I learned
the steps on the ground and then graduated to the stilts,
which was slightly terri fine for me, but probably more
for Emma. I think she was very worried that I
was going to tread on her toes and steel stilts.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Well, you know what, I can't dance. Getting on stilts
would really only make it worse.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Should that scene where they dance, I almost cried, Murphy.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I can't wait to see your reaction.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
Murphy's Sam and Jody's Friday favorite.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
You're up next food dude.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
That's right, Jody, are one of your favorite TV shows,
great Game of Thrones. Yeah, HBO is now going to
make Game of Thrones wine, And.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
If you already follow us on Facebook but not Instagram,
we'll be sure to do that today when you get
a chance too that you can see her Instagram story
and all those fun things.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
Sam always lies, then you eats geez.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
The Fode books at HBO have now come up with
Game of Thrones wines to enjoy as you just sip
and watch the show.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Yeah, you know who drinks the most wine on Game
of Thrones, no clue, and alanis of course she doesn't
let me ask you his sister also soci.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Are they going to be selling the goblets that go
with this?

Speaker 3 (12:03):
You sure you can find those somewhere, as long as
that's the only food they're selling, because I mean some
of the stuff they eat rabbits and killing rabbits and
then cooking rabbits and eating rabbits.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Yeah, and I know that they don't actually eat turkey
legs in the show, but you know what, that's a
winner to me. If I were in marketing and owned
a piece of that action, I'd be selling turkey.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Legs, oh my gosh, and call them dragon legs. Anyway,
there's three wines. The red Blend and they wrote this
up is intended to be served at feasts and small
council sessions.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
Or the red wedding.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
The Chardonnay is inspired by a spring after the infamous
west Rows winter. Yes, and the Cabernet is intended to
be worthy of the iron throne. Boom. Buddy in the
marketing department got ahold of about it?

Speaker 3 (12:47):
And you play this music, I want to go watch
I want to be there.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Here's my question, though, Sam, you and I don't drink alcohol.
Are you gonna be making any sparkling grape wine by chance?
Sparkling grape juice? Maybe? You know?

Speaker 2 (12:57):
You know, just say, from hearing Jody and Dave talk
about the show, I doubt sparkling grape juice would have
gone over.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
No sparkling nothing.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
That's nothing about this that's light.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Remember a while back we had McDonald's come out with
their special sauce. Yeah, they actually put it for a
limited time. They were giving them way free.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
It was very limited. Were only I mean ten thousand
bottles for the entire country. There were people that never
even saw I knew those things existed.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
I got mine still in the fridge, use it every
now and then on stuff.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Not the same Sam, the luckiest guy on the planet,
one in ten thousand.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Now McDonald's in Canada, they're trying this out. They're selling free,
they're going to sell that sauce. They're gonna sell it
now special sauce. They're also going to sell the a
sauce that goes on the McChicken. I don't know what
that is either, And the filet of fish sauce, which
I believe is some kind of tartar.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
You know, the problem I used to have is this
filet fish charter always landed on my shirt. No matter what, they.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Always put a lot on there.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
And I love that, I really do. But it always
just kind of a little dripping.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
That's not their fault, No, no.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
No, that's my fault. Look, you know, Jody, that happens
with a lot of food.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Right, yeah, I mean it's tough for herpy to drive
with both knees.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
And need to flay your exactly.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
We got Jody's got the Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
And there's a new bromance in Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Two of your favorites, ladies who really like each other
a lot.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
Jody's Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
We've got a new movie this weekend to take on Beauty.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
And the Beast. We have a couple actually, but first
we'll go to this one called Life. It's a sci
fi thriller set on an international space station with Ryan
Reynolds and Jake Jillenhall.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
You know, I know there's five guys back home who
could do my job. Nobody can do yours except you,
and you don't know what it is and you're in
there and you're playing around with it like it's your buddy.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
I'm your buddy.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
This will I'm sorry when I hear Ryan Reynolds talking
now I here Deadpool.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I was about to say, once you've done something so
hyachronic and the voice is so specific you are waiting
for the joke. And by the way, one of the
reasons Ryan Reynolds really want to do this movie is
because it teams him with the Deadpool writer, so you
know a lot of collaboration where they really get each other.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
We have the right kind of chemistry. Those are the
people you want to work with.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
What has happened since this movie is that Ryan Reynolds
and Jake Gyllenhall, ladies, just picture that for a second,
are in a romance.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
They are best buds.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Now.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
They had never really worked together.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
So the first time they worked together, the director said
they probably wasted thousands of dollars these two because they
would start cracking each other up on the set, and
at one point somebody had to walk on and say, guys,
we have to get we have to get back to work,
and you got to get serious because this is a
serious thriller. It is a thriller set in space. Ryan

(15:37):
Reynolds wanted a more leading role, but he couldn't because
he had other stuff going on. Deadpool two's like in
the work, so like that. But now they're friends. They
both live in New York. They hang out together, you know,
Jake Dillenhall comes over all the time and eats with
he and his wife Blake, and so you're going to
see more of them and then they're going to pick
on each other forever.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
I just think it's cute.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
It's cool.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Enjoy that, ladies.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Chris Jenner is pitching and animated Kardashian series just for
you to beware of.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Okay, well, all right, so if they do it animated,
are they gearing it towards kids? No?

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Absolutely not, Thank you for asking the obvious question. It
would feature Kim and Chloe and Kylie and everybody in
the family, and they met this week about it. But no,
it's not for kids. I don't really understand. Maybe it
will be easier for some than for something. The cameras
on them all the time.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
He animated keeping up with the Kardashians, or is it
going to be like they go out like Scooby Doo
in the Gang and solve ooh mysteries every week.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I doubt it. I doubt they would want that. That's right, Kim,
I can't I.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Hear that what you just said?

Speaker 3 (16:37):
All right? Coming up at seven fifty five this morning,
speaking of the movie to Life and everything that's gonna
take on Beauty and the Beast this weekend, we'll do
your family friendly box office review up to date with
Shooty's Hollywood out signer coming up just after seven in
case you missed it this week, how to make a
cheddar stuffed burger this weekend?

Speaker 1 (17:03):
This is Friday. Feel good right there? If if James
Brown can't get you in.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
The mood, no one can, right, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
You know. So this week Mitchell laughed hour to Sam
that Tuesday was National Compassion Day. And but the other
thing that really stuck out at me this week, And
we do Friday favorites every Friday, so I guess I
have two, but I'll sneak one of them right now
for you. Jody. Okay, it was I saw what I
saw on the back of the tire cover on that
jeep that said one Life Lived. That was my big

(17:31):
pick me up moment. For the week. Yeah, all right,
so you know, and don't you kind of like keep
that joy alive by sharing it again? Sam? What do
you think?

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah, I keep with the joy a lot.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
All right, One life lived, remember that.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
I'm still trying to think of how he can avoid
National Compassion Day.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
That's like mine would say, one life livid.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yes, yeah, okay, you guys ready for today, well not
today's but meal madness.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Don't forget for the weekend.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
We have all these really good recipes on line, including
the one we added yesterday, cheddar stuffed burgers. It's basically
a juicy, lucy easy to do.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
I'm willing to try this, but I'm a purist. When
it comes to ground beef and a hamburger.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
You also fanatic.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Put it on top, But I don't stick anything in
the bird.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Why not?

Speaker 3 (18:19):
That's so good, it's so good. And you just make
a thin, two thin burgers. You put a square or
two of cheddar and I would go sharp, and then
you put the other burger on top, and you seal
it around the edges and then you grill it.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
It is melty, it is delicious, it is cooked.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
I let it breathe for a bit.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
Well, theater stuff burgers. Man, that's where it's at.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Because I tend to wear what I eat. This is
one of those that I probably better put a napkin
in my shirt.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Because of the way that you eat.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I mean you eat every meal like cookie Monster has cookies.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
And remember too, if you've ever seen one of these
juicy lucies in action there, since they liquefies in there,
that first bite or the first cut, it's gonna fly
out of there because.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
There's something talking about Yeah right, yeah, you're willing to
try it.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
I am.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
It's dangerous anyway, go online to get the method. Look,
it's and it's not a recipe specifically, it's it's how
you normally do your burgers. Just a method. Murphy, Sam
and Jody dot Com coming up. Did you know that
there are such thing? There is a such thing as
adulting class?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
What does that mean?

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Adulting as a verb? The adulting class? Who's signing up
for it?

Speaker 4 (19:29):
And what is it? That's next?

Speaker 1 (19:33):
And Hey, if you've got nothing better to do later today,
come hanging out with us after the show.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
That's enticing.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
It's online something exclusively, Yeah, something exclusive is exclusively you
get by being a podcast subscriber. We keep going even
when things are done here.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
You guys heard about adulting classes. Yeah, a couple of teachers.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Wait, wait, what does that mean?

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Adulting as a verb means like, there's certain younger young
people who are having trouble adulting getting into the adult
and knowing how to how to do certain.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Things and others should be independent adults.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Really in an adult how to be an adult? Yeah,
there's the course.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Maybe this is why I should take it.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
It could be everything. The thing about it is and
it can be everything from how to access your account online,
or how to access your bank account, or how to
change a tire or just basic things that truly take
a lifetime to teach. You can't teach your kid everything
when they turn seventeen and you realize they're about to leave,
well to eighteen whenever. Now that it's it's something that

(20:30):
happens over your life, their lifetime.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Their children should have been taught gradually over time or
picked up over time.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
That's why this is such a big responsibility.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
This is the adult DIY class. That's what it is,
right it Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
But they say that the millennials are signing up for
them like crazy because of the things that they don't
know how to do.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
And you know what, I can see how some of
these things because it doesn't necessarily mean it's a parent's
fault that these things happen. Technology it is, it can be.
But technology I think has been a game Shane two.
For example, you know, I mean our girls learning to drive,
you know, cars, for example. I mean only our oldest
is doing that so far. But because we never as
a child, I had a go cart, she didn't. She

(21:11):
never drove any other little motorized things, not even a
riding lawnmoar. Taylor's never been on so she was truly
starting from scratching the car, right, whereas other kids would
have sort of an advanced kind of here's how it works.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Yeah, with all this technology, we're giving them some disadvantages.
And that's how to cope with real life. I tell
you what I could have benefited from when I was
a young adult, or even in high school. How to
do your taxes class? It would have been great. Yeah,
things like that.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
They have CPAs, Jodie.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Bank account management, things like that.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, basic finance absolutely right about that.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
That was never really taught.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
I mean I felt some pressure when I was older,
and I started making money and having money, but you
need to be balancing that.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
But I never got through instruction.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Is this though, because they're focusing on millennials because of
the fact that you know a lot of helicopter helicopter
parents and parents always to the rescue and participation they're.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Focusing on because it could be it could be a
million reasons. Why can't worry about the why? But what's
happening now? So you know, hey, what kind of adulting
class do you think should be offered? Eight seven seven
three one zero four six seven five.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Let us know.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
It's a group of teachers who put together this adulting
class because they've found that a lot of kids who
graduate high school have trouble learning to adult for whatever reasons.
Maybe their parents were helicopter parents as they call and
raise them in bubble wrap, or sad or even a
more sad situation is that they didn't get guidance from

(22:42):
the adults in their lives. No matter the reason, we
wanted to hear from you on what do you think
about this? Do you think there's a real need for it?
Eight seven seven three one zero for six seven five Bryant,
you're a high school teacher, do you see the need
for this, Uh.

Speaker 11 (23:00):
We have a we have a lot of extremes like
that over here. We're either you know, prep them so
hard for college that that's all they know how to
do is read a book, or we prep them so
hard for the workplace that they have no common sense
at all. But they can you know, make a heck
of a barbecue pit.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Do you see that as being a problem from the
parents side or is it the I guess institutionally it's both.

Speaker 11 (23:23):
Institutionally, I think you want some people that kind of
enable a lot of that stuff. Uh huh, Secretary in
the front office. You know, parents shows up with the
project for a kid or with the lunch for a kid.
These aren't you know, elementary school kids. These are you know,
I tease duns and seniors mostly, and you know like, hey,
all right, we got this, We've got this coming up today.
Well look the my mom has it, they're going to

(23:44):
bring it. I say, okay, I didn't assign your mom
this project. You haven't heard bringing for you. Constant excuse
making and most people buy them. That's what's the problem. Yeah,
they don't. They're not really getting pushed a whole lot,
and when you try to push them, they've got a
million and a half excuses on why this isn't fair,
And now they don't know how.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
To do all that stuff well, and you know, it's weird.
And I'm sure in a lot of cases too, it's
not that the parents are intentionally trying to do anything wrong.
Sometimes it's speed of life. You know, it's easier for
me to do it myself, which of course doesn't teach
a child anything. And then the other part of it
is really just what they're exposed to now because it's
all a smartphone world. If you're not mailing a letter
on a regular basis, you might not know where to

(24:23):
put the stamp, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
It's true.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
I'd like to see some high school classes with some basics,
you know, some adulting, like the class is adulting.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Here are some things. There's something they could cover every day.
How beneficial would that be?

Speaker 2 (24:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (24:37):
It's it's kind of worrisome, right, thank you, Bryant.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
Although that stuff should be taught at home, it's not.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Sometimes it's true, you know, I have to completely rely
on the school to fall back.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
I know, it's such a big you know thing, And
I tell you what, I could have certainly benefited from
some adulting classes a long time ago. I guess maybe
still could right, Yeah, all right, look join us anytime
eight seven seven three one zero four MSJ back to
some fun coming up next.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
Yeah, Sam has music news.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
I got some more artists that are handing over the
rights the songwriting credits from their songs, their famous songs,
because they're scared of more lawsuits.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
That Sam's got music News'.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Earlier this week, I was telling you about how Ed
Sheeran has given some of the writing credit for his
song Shape of You right over to some other folks,
and it turns out it's two of the ladies who
back in the day, back in the nineties had written
no scrubs for TLC because there was some talk that,
you know, it kind of sounds like it might have
been a little.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
I don't I don't hear it, but I don't have
any you.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Know, in order to avoid any possible lawsuits. Ed just
like fine add their names to it. Everybody's cool and
honky dory. Well, I've dug a little deeper into it.
Apparently this is not like recently any the only time
this has happened. It is for ed, but like the
Chainsmokers and the song closer a little bit right, Well,

(26:01):
somebody pointed out to them, you know what that sounds
like that phrase song over my head.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
It does not sound you can do this. So somebody
is seeing dollar signs and listening four dollar signs.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
So what they did was they decided two of the
guys from the Fray that wrote this song, they put
their names as co writing credits for a Chainsmoker song.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Wow, did you know what? They're not going to just
do this without consulting with attorney somebody saying yes, you know,
you may or may not win this case, so.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Yeah, this may go to court, you know, and let's
not do this. I Sam Smith did it too for
this song. Oh shoot, he actually and he gave credit
to uh Tom Petty and Jeff Lynn or Tom Petty song.
Won't back down.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
And you know I told Jody a long time ago
that I thought this song shouded like stay with me.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Apparently Tom Petty's people heard it and said Tom listen,
and he's like he man, it's right. So they contacted
Sam Smith and before it got legal, Sam's like, yeah,
you know you're right, fine, put your names on it.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah, we know Tom Petty wasn't in a hurry necessarily
to get.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
All of this legality stuff messing with music and artists.
And yes, everybody's influencing everybody all the time.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Yeah it's true.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Yeah's gunshy now. Yeah. Got some more names to add
to the performers list for the CMA's coming up April.
The second Keith Urban has been added like country music
because you can just give first names. Luke's gonna be there,
Miranda carry Him and Faith they're going to perform their
new song. Also, Florida Georgia ly gonna be performing the
Backstreet Boys, so look for fgl and the Boys.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Okay, April second.

Speaker 6 (27:50):
Murphy Sam d Music News.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
All right, more Friday Favorites. Who's going next?

Speaker 3 (27:55):
You are?

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Mine is actually from that science class that we've talked. Yes,
really well, it involves Sam Murphy. All right, my turn.
You know, we like to do the positive moments from
the past week. This is a fun of the three
of us took part in. We went and taught the
sixth grade well, I don't know if we taught the
sixth rade client science class.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
They asked us to come speech out in front of
them because they've been learning about all kinds of rape.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
Listen to me, not.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
Raves waves raves, huh, anyway, waves like radio waves.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Yeah. And my favorite part of that was, you know,
I mean Sam always brings the fund to everything, right yep.
And so Sam, you know, told this story which really
anybody could tell, about how the microwave oven was invented,
which I think is a cool story.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Everybody.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
This garbage microwaves were discovered accidentally. This guy here, Percy Spencer, he.

Speaker 12 (28:49):
Worked for the government back in nineteen forty six, and
he was working on radar magnetrons, which is this thing
that shoots out the radar waves, electromagnetic radar waves. And uh,
when he finished working, it was time for a snack
and he had a candy bar in his pocket.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
So he went and reached here and did you up here?

Speaker 1 (29:09):
He grabbed the student from the front road, brought him
up bar and.

Speaker 6 (29:12):
Opened it up.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
And what happened.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Melton hershey bar, melted candy bar.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
It was all melty. And I was like, wait, I
didn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
This is my favorite part coming up.

Speaker 12 (29:25):
And then he thought, wait, I'm working on these radar
things here. So he goes and he gets for hey,
wait tell.

Speaker 6 (29:31):
You here he goes.

Speaker 12 (29:35):
Then he gets his eggs and he holds his egg
go have chocolate on it, And so he turns on
the radar again and gets what happened to the eggs?

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Exploding eggs are fun.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, Sam did the exploding nag and front of the
whole class there, and that got it caught everybody up guard.
And you know what of anything that we spent in
that hour, that's what they're gonna remember. Mister Sam broke
an egg.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Yeah, and then passed out chocolate bar to everybody of
the whole microwave.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
And you know what I mean to me, that's what underscores.
Then when you do something like that, if you make
it fun, it's more memorable, and you know, and it's
possible to turn science into fun like that, which was
really cool.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
That's exactly what that was. Exactly Phoebe's review.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
She even said, you know that stuff is not the
most interesting, but you guys made it fun and everybody
really liked misters.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Yes, everybody always does, so that was good.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
Coming up next, the family friendly box office review. Actually
some big movies ready to take on Beauty and the
Beast sci fi thriller. Okay, if you're a kid of
the nineties, you don't want to miss Power Rangers. And
there's a remake, a rountr remake from a classic TV show.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
All on the way.

Speaker 6 (30:44):
New movies this week, Murphy Sam and Jody Famine Friendly
box Office Review.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
You guys heard about the movie Life with Ryan Reynolds
and Jake Jillenhall. This is the first time they've worked together,
and it's a space movie and it's a horror sci
fi thriller.

Speaker 7 (31:01):
You know, I know there's five guys back home. I
could do my job. Nobody can do yours except you.
And you don't know what it is. And you're in
there and you're playing around with it like it's your buddy.
I'm your buddy.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
This will never be a controlled experiment.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
So let's all agree we made our first and last mistake.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Six astronauts on board this space station to study, to
study samples collected from Mars. They find that, of course,
there's you know, the ability for life on Mars, but
it's super intelligent.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Oh my gosh, the really beautiful.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
The only movie I've seen called Life was actually a
science movie that I took our youngest daughter, Phoebe to
see you one time. She will sleep in the movie
and I'm like, wow, So that's what's inside of a cell.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Cool? You missed your chance for an app Okay, so
that's a big one. That's a big cast Jake, Dyllana
and Ryan Reynolds in one movie. Ryan Reynolds wanted a
more leading role, but he had to take a supporting
role because he's so busy.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Deadpool Hello, Deadpool two.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
We also have This is a highly anticipated and they're
going to try to take on Beauty and the Beast.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
We'll see how the new Power Rangers do.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
None of us really know each other. We were all
in the same place when Billy found those coins. God,
is that.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
Weird?

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Murphy Wade for Brian Cranston.

Speaker 8 (32:16):
Saying, the answer to what is happening to you is here.
You five are the Power Rangers.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Yeah, I am the go get them, Walt.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
It's an action adventure sci fi of course, Power Rangers.
If you loved it, it's reimagined, rebooted. It looks really good.
She is and we also have the reboot. But this
is definitely a rate at R reboot. This is not
the old TV show Michael Pina and Dak's shepherd in Chips.

Speaker 9 (32:46):
We're the California Highway Patrol. This job this crucial without
us out there, Come on, it's.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
A shame because there's such a squeaky clean TV show
in the eighties when they're Castrata.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Fairly a squeaky clean trailer supposed.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
To be funny, and I'm just not too sure about
this one. Life is rated Our Power Rangers Pg. Thirteen
and Chips is definitely rateed.

Speaker 6 (33:10):
R Murphy Sandy Family Friendly box Office from You.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
On the Way, guys at eight thirty.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
In your next Hollywood Outsider, how Star Wars plans to
deal with the death of Carrie fisher Well for their
next upcoming episode eight.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
All kinds of fun going into the weekend here meal madness.
You know, three weeks worth the recipes for you to
pull from there, Murphy Salmonjody dot Com. Anything else that
you might have missed it, you know throughout the week
we should have subscribed to the Murphy Salmon Jody podcast.
You know, you can go jogging around the block with
that while you exercise tomorrow or something. Catch up anything you.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Missed, Yeah, One of the things you may have miss
is meal madness.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Are cheddar stuffed burger?

Speaker 3 (33:49):
Get that?

Speaker 4 (33:50):
That's everybody's favorite cheat food.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
By the way, in America, cheat food your favorite like
cheat day food.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
Oh yeah, yeahs.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Like a close second. Cake is on the list too,
takes three.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
See, Sam would probably put pizza number one. I put
Burger's number one. Yeah, wouldn't you? Would you put pizza
number one? Sam?

Speaker 2 (34:07):
That's a toss up. I mean, it depends on making
the burger.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
It's on your mood too.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, what are you doing this weekend? Sam?

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Not much?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Very little?

Speaker 6 (34:15):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
As a little as possible.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
You might need to cut the grass, Yeah, getting out
of control.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Yeah, I'm hoping Murphy will take me to see Beating
the Beast again.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
You've not seen it, and I have and I loved it.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
The only thing is it's a little long, right, I mean,
didn't you say it's like two and a half hours.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
I'm just eight hours in like nine minutes. Not a
minute of that needs to be missed.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
I'm just want I mean, is it really take thirty
minutes longer than the original to tell that story again?

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Yeah? It's real, live and more more backstory for Bell
and Beast.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Yeah, huh, I remember you got to add on all
those trailers before it, so you're there for good two
and a half hours.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Sure, that's an investment.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
You know what's funny? I saw it the Thursday. Debuted
on the Thursday.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Whatever people say stuff starts for Friday, but Thursday night
is that I saw it. We sat down, I was
visiting with a friend and that sucker just came on.
There was there were no trailers. Can you believe?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
We'll try that same theater if you want.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Okayeah, you're down with that.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Isn't that cool?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
But I would look, I would love to see it
with you, truly. I mean I know that it's it's
a good movie, and I do like Dan Stevens, so
I want to see how it's all.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
Only going to see him at the end.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
That's all right, it's still good anyway. We also have
we're taking Phoebe to her second track Meat on Sunday,
and it's an all thing.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Get to use the chairs, Sam, Yay, did you buy
a pop up tent?

Speaker 3 (35:31):
No?

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I just don't want to. I don't want to mooch
off of friends anymore. For chairs, Jody and I finally
have this together. Now, bring chairs, be prepared, and I'm
even going to bring an extra help somebody who was
in my predicament just last week that may need a chair.
Isn't that nice?

Speaker 2 (35:45):
They get aggravating hours of it. If I need a.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Chair, Come on, I got one, and you know it's
gonna happen. He's gonna leave one out there when it's
time to leave. Anyway, I'll handle the food, the water,
the snacks, leave the chairs to me, Jod and the sun.
Five of them, all right.

Speaker 6 (36:02):
Next Sam's Friday Favorite.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Yeah, not one, two, but three final salutes to mister
Chuck Berry.

Speaker 6 (36:11):
Sam's Friday Favorite.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
I got three kind of here. I'm gonna kind of
roll them together because they're pretty similar. Okay, you know,
we lost Chuck Berry last weekend at the age of ninety.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Rock and roll. Rock and roll, I can't say it
right as Murphy would say. That was actually one of
the first CDs I bought was the Grete twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
Oh yeah, that's a good CD. And so when he
died over the next couple of nights, different artists from
different genres decided to salute him by covering Johnny B.
Good okay. I mean I had a bon jovie when Jody.
I couldn't get it because it sounded a little like
way off in the distance somebody's phone. Yeah, and some
of these are off of phones, but you know they
sound pretty good. Brad Paisley did it. Luckily this person

(37:00):
was standing right in front of him.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
That's pretty good. That's Brad Paisley.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
One of the cooler versions is a Green Days version. Man,
that sounds good. I'd love to heard that one lot
that it is. And then of course we have to
slow things down just a little bit. Sting and his
acoustic guitar.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
I don't know ste knows.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
The lyrics, he's just stuck with that one.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
Guard Johnny be good.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Michael Jay Fox knows the lyrics.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
He's haanging on back to the future. Yeah, are you
kidding me?

Speaker 3 (37:45):
That's the duck walk that was. That was kind of
truly my introduction to Chuck Berry was Michael Jay Fox
doing Chuck Berry.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Yeah. Red Hot Chili Peppers did it too. But you know,
there's some versions of Chuck Berry's the big send off
for mister Chuck.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Murphy salmon joke, Sam's our food dude, So coming up next.
You've got a special food coming for Game of Thrones fans.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Oh yes, you need it before season seven.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
And if you already follow us on Facebook but not Instagram,
we'll be sure to do that today when you get
a chance too that you can see her Instagram story
and all those fun.

Speaker 6 (38:19):
Things Sam always fines. Then you eat geez.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
The food bucks at HBO have now come up with
a Game of Thrones wines to enjoy as you just
sip and watch the show.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah, you know who drinks the most wine on Game
of Thrones, Clue and Lantis.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Of course he doesn't know, let me ask you.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
I'm his sister.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Also, so are they.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Going to be selling the goblets that go with this?

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Sure you can find those somewhere, as long as that's
the only food they're selling, because I mean some of
the stuff they eat rabbits and killing rabbits and then
cooking rabbits and eating rabbits.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Yeah, and I know that they don't actually eat turkey
legs in the show, But you know what, that's a
winner to me. If I were in marketing and owned
a piece of that action, I'd be selling turkey legs.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Oh my gosh, called them dragon legs. Anyway, there's three wines.
The red Blend is and they wrote this up is
intended to be served at feasts and small council sessions
or the red wedding. The Chardonnay is inspired by a
spring after the infamous west Rows winter. Yes, and the
Cabernet is intended to be worthy of the iron throne.

(39:20):
Boom buy in the marketing department.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Got ahold of about it? And you play this music.
I want to go watch. I want to be there.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
Here's my question, though, Sam, you and I don't drink alcohol.
Are you gonna be making any sparkling grape wine by chance?
Sparkling grape juice? Maybe?

Speaker 2 (39:34):
You know, you know, just say from hearing Jody and
David talk about the show, I doubt sparkling grape juice
would have gone over.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
No sparkling nothing about this.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
That's nothing about this.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
That's light.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Remember a while back we had McDonald's come out with
their special sauce. Yeah, they actually put it for a
limited time. They were giving them away free.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
It was very limited. Were only i mean ten thousand
bottles for the entire country. There were people that never
even saw knew those things existed.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
I got mine still in the fridge, isn't now? And
then on stuff, I have the same.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
Sam the Luckiest guy on the planet, one in ten thousand.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
Now McDonald's in Canada, they're trying this out. They're selling
three They're going to sell that sauce. They're going to
sell it now special sauce. They're also going to sell
the sauce that goes on the McChicken. I don't know
what that is. And the file of fish sauce, which
I believe is some kind of charter.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Yeah, you know, the problem I used to have is
this file fish charter always landed on my shirt.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
No matter what, they always put a lot on there.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
And I love that, I really do, but it always
just kind of a little driven.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
That's not their fault, No, no.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
No, that's my fault. Look, you know, Jody, that happens
with a lot of food, right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
I mean it's tough for Murphy to drive with both
knees and need to flay exactly exactly.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
Jody's got the Hollywood Outsider.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
For Star Wars episode eight, Disney says they won't deal
with the death and the passing of Carrie Fisher.

Speaker 4 (40:48):
I just want to know how they won't. Maybe you
can help me with that.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Coming up, Max, Sam Jody's Hollywood outside. All right, let's
talk Star Wars for a second. Yes, episode eight, episode eight,
which is coming out. They're not gonna change any of
the Carrie Fisher. Well, they're gonna run every Carrie Fisher
scene they had as Princess Leah. They're pleased with her work,
but they're not going to deal with her death.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Well, they're not gonna check the out story, you know,
like sometimes in these movies, if somebody dies, it's like, okay,
let's rewrite the ending. So right, yeah, fast and furious,
let's rewrite the ending so he doesn't come back next time.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
Paul Walker, how do you not deal with Princess Leah's death?

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (41:26):
I don't know if she Princess Leah dies, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
What I got it? Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
The storyline is they.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Were happy with episode eight, and they say they're not
changing a thing. It's going to remain as it was.
But of course this is the last time we'll see
Carrie Fisher. Yeah, in a Star Wars movie. Episode eight.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
It comes out December fifteenth.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
By the way, it surely does the last Jedi is
what it's called Murphy.

Speaker 6 (41:47):
Sam and Jody. You are a Hollywood I'm sayer.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
And if you ever call in missus. The good news
is it goes to our twenty four hour voicemail, which
which checked every single.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
Day, first thing in the morning.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
I do believe we've got some more riddles coming in
as we wrap this up.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
Riddle week. You want to do one?

Speaker 3 (42:06):
One?

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Going to test us? All right?

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (42:10):
I have a question for you guys, actually a riddle.
I have five brothers and each one of us has
a sister. How many kids all together?

Speaker 7 (42:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (42:19):
I want to see you get that one.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Thanks the answer though, well, thank you the voicemail.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
If it's him and he has five brothers, that's six
and all the brothers have a sister.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
Seven?

Speaker 4 (42:31):
I was, I did six?

Speaker 2 (42:32):
I was. I would think that would be seven.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
I think that's seven. But most people are going to go,
there's a sister for each brother?

Speaker 1 (42:37):
Right?

Speaker 4 (42:37):
Is the is the map?

Speaker 3 (42:38):
That's the math? Riddles? Yeah, we think that's what it is.
Leave us to answer, but how you know it's a
good one. I like that.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
I think it's seven.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
I will tell you this.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
There is a blog and you can check it out
at Murphy Samon Jody dot com that producer David put
together with a ton of good riddles to do with
your family this weekend on trips in the car whatever.

Speaker 4 (43:00):

Speaker 2 (43:02):
Oh, I know why the whole family.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
Check it out out to Murphy Samon Jody dot com.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
Of course you can reach out anytime eight seven to
seven three one zero four M s. J.

Speaker 6 (43:12):
Coming up next with Murphy's Salmon.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Jody Jody. I found out that a character from Frozen
almost wound up in Beauty and the Beast.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
I don't I don't even know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
I'll tell you about it next, Jody. Did you hear
about the Frozen easter egg that almost wound up? It
wound up in Beauty and the Beast.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
You know, I'm not good at catching the easter eggs,
the Disney Easter egg thing, because I'm too focused on
the current story I'm watching.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
A lot of them are too hidden. I think this
one would have been obvious though. Of course. You know,
the the guy that played Lafu Josh dadd in Uh
in Beauty and the Beast is a lot.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
Of Yeah, he was great in both roles, and of course, yeah,
like you said, in Frozen, he plays ohl off.

Speaker 6 (43:55):
Yees the busting kids will bloat down the lion.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
Fuzz And if you remember the original Beauty and the Beast,
the animated one, there's a scene where lafu like goes
outside and then a bunch of snow falls on his head.
Gador slammed and boom. I remember as well, he becomes
a snowman, so he said he went Josh Gad said
he went to the director and fought for this, and
the director finally shut him down. But he said when
the snow fell on him, he turned into a snowman.

(44:20):
He wanted it to look like, oh, that would be
awesome and all the Disney people would have gone crazy,
but he said the director's like, no, that's just too much.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
Well, I like the idea. I'm maybe with the directors there.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Yes, it's cute, yeah, but I want to keep Beauty
in the Beast pure as it deserves to be as
my favorite fairy tale.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
Sorry, oll off.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
