Our countdown to Thanksgiving continues with some of the most simple side dishes if you have zero kitchen game.
For Murphy and Jodi's 20th anniversary, Sam wants to figure out the one secret thing that has been keeping this marriage together this whole time.

Okay, you guys, ready for the easiest side dish ever.
It's our countdown to Thanksgiving. We posted the recipes online
for you right now, our most personal favorite Thanksgiving recipes
at Murphy Samonjody dot com. You'll also find them on
our Facebook page and all that good stuff. Last year
I happened to pawn the easiest side dish ever. And
that's because well, it's actually more like an appetizer.

That's one of the tricks.

This isn't like buy a pack Hawaiian rolls and heat
them up. No, but it's not easy.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
It's not.

It's not much more intense than that. So if you
have zero cooking game and you want to bring something,
it is such a trick. You'll remember this. Last year
we had a house full of guests and it was crazy,
and I looked up and it was like two o'clock
and we were supposed to be somewhere at four and
I was supposed to have had made something and I didn't,
so I was like, what do I do?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
And I didn't want to go get in traffic.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
So I had a roll of a roll of French bread,
Italian bread, whatever, soft, fresh, wonderful, and I also had
a container of our favorite like spinach and artichoke dip
spread that I bought it forgot remember this.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
So cut up the bread.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I cut it into pieces, and I put a little bit,
well a good bit, slathered it on each piece, and
then I heated that up so we wouldn't have to
cut it after. So you know, it takes a little time,
but that's all it took. I mean, anybody can do this.
Stuck it in the oven until it was nice and
bubbly and warm, and then we brought that huge hit.

None of it left.

At the end of the night, none of it.

I was honest, I've working on this day long.

When I was asked, I was honest, But oftentime it
was like, man, thanks for bringing this awesome bread spina jappetizer.

Wow. I love that kind of story and a pinch too,
And you know what, it doesn't cost a whole lot
to do that too.

No, no, I mean just if you just you don't
have the time to cook or whatever, you want to
bring something that kind of stuff works, or get our
favorite personal recipes, including cornbread dressing and sweet potato castlerole,

been married for twenty years and twelfth Yeah, sometimes it's
the thirteenth, sometimes it's the eleventh, fel Oddly enough, Sam
always remembers that it's the twelve twelve.

So we have one little story to tell you from
our anniversary weekend getaway, which was one of those, of
course stories that happens, like really one.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Of those I need to text Sam stories.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Oh no, No, it's not that. It's just one of
those figures. I mean, I really thought I was doing
something novel and cool.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
It was novel and cool.

And I guess you were thinking it too, but you
had you had the hunch that I didn't have.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Was I don't know. Okay, you want to just tell
them the story.

So years ago, when we did go to this bed
and breakfast on our honeymoon, I don't know what reason,
except that Murphy likes candy. You brought a bag of
miniature mounds, you know, the dark chocolate coconut candy. And
I had never been about that candy, but you were like, hey,
some mounds delicious, and so I remember eating mounds like
(03:56):
he you know, you brought them.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
I remember how your honeymoon memory. Yeah, one of them.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, because we sat there and ate almost an entire bag.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Anyway, So it's one of those little things that becomes
a private joke, you know what I mean that I remembered.
So when I was buying Halloween candy a couple of
weeks ago, I bought a bag of mounds and I
stuck it at the bottom of my overnight bag. And
we get there and I was going to break it out.
I was gonna wait till Saturday night or whatever.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
As soon as we get there Friday night and we
were unpacking and arriving and checking out, you know, the
old house and all this, Murphy's like, I have one
little surprise.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
As soon as he said that, I knew ill because
I didn't get that thrilled, really surprised.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
I didn't get that. I got there really like.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
He stole my thunder a little bit. But it's so
cute and exact exactly the same bag. You whip it out,
and it's like cause we had two bags tons. It
was so funny when we got home Sunday evening when
the kids piled in, Oh you're back, great, Hey, can
I have some mounds please?

because they are going to start at the beginning of

then another couple they'll start complaining about each other. Or

to someone else, digging like it's just it's it's a
via elation. You know, everybody's got complaints.

It's hard to live with somebody, you know, it's it's
not easy. But you know, to kind of air that
it's just not cool. It just feels weird for other people.

like you and I did at Sam's second wedding.

On our beautiful foster Blue Pity Layla. She's so lovely
and she's so cozy and warm. When she gets in
her crate and she looks up at you, I swear
my heart just goes in my throat. But we have
not officially adopted her yet because we wanted to give
it a two week mark.

Does she stop digging?
Speaker 1 (12:37):
No, Well, you know it's not so much she's chasing things.
She only digs when there's something interesting to chasewise that's.

Going to be a thing, though, there's always going to
be something else that we have neighbors and so we
you know, there's that to consider because it's going to
be our dogs are our dogs besides her are lazy,
so we've not had to do any fence work. And
then we get it Layla. It's like watch out, she's
digging a hole. She's gonna go next door.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
But I think I have the solution of that at
least I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna do brick pavers
and so, you know, and they're going to be put
in in a way where you can't dig past them.
So you know, you got.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
About to say you're doing this on the week nights
this week.

No, it's not gonna look great, but it will be functional.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
I don't know anyway.

Waiting that two two full weeks honestly is more about
the pack mentality. I don't want her trying to sort
of alpha anybody in the pack. And I don't see
any of it yet. They really seem to be in harmony.

No, And I haven't seen her pull other dogs conspiring
against the rest of the pack either, you know. So
I think we're going to be good.

Such a love fostering is complicated, well, the.

Way we were making it happen. But this is what's
crazy about her one positive once and not so positive.
She was able to the fence wasn't latched yesterday and
she was able to get out and run out of
the gates.

That's human era though that's not her.

But she ran around and came back several times, and
then we called and got her back so she comes
back when called.

There was a lot of truck or love.

Excuse me growing up, because let me clarify, please do
Take my brother. He loved truckers and he had toys
that looked like big trucks.

Oh okay, he wanted to drive a.

Truck and he was obsessed with ceebee radio and truckers.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
And there was even a TV show in the that
went on.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Part of the influence, I think, and the bear a trucker,
I mean, trucking was hot than he still hot now.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
So it was a big deal.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
When a truck would pass, he'd be like, look, this
is it, and he'd start naming how many tons it
was carrying.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
And I'm just like, honk at me, honk at me.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Okay, now that that's out the way. I was just
wondering if truckers still do this, because the reason I'm
asking is I was bringing the twins home yes his
past weekend, and there was a guy in front of
me and we were passing on the left side, passing
a long line of eighteen wheelers.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
So you did it?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
No, the guy in front, I could see his hand
doing this. He passed one. Nothing, Oh wow, that was
the next one. He does it again. Nothing.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
He just don't do it anymore.

Truck in a row and nobody did it. And I'm thinking,
is it because they're back to back? Is it because
they don't do that anymore?
Speaker 1 (16:05):
It's a safety issue. Probably. Think about how loud those
horns are. And I actually saw somebody swerve in front
of us one time when the when the horn was
hong because you know, it's it's carry man.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
It's not safe anymore. So it's not fun.

Man, I'm guessing. I just you know me, if my
thought would be its rules and regulations, it.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Keeps thee it's it's not the trend anymore. Your kids
don't know that, do they. They don't know to do that.

the phone.

So one of my favorite parts that I'll always remember
about our anniversary weekend Murphy is the art gallery. So
I was doing all this sweet sleepy town Christmas shopping,
not even a ton of it, just looking around, taking
our time on a beautiful day before the game, and
there's only one art gallery on the whole strip we
walk in it.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
This is the same one.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Where years ago, or a year or two ago, I
saw a painting that I loved and I was like, ooh,
it's so pretty the owls. And then Murphy's two weeks
later sneaks back and buys it for me for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Nice for why I was gone for four hours.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
It's such a slick move. You truly surprised me with that.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Anyway, this is the same gallery and it's a really
nice artist and he has other artists that he showcases,
but he also has a lot of.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
His own work.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
And so we walk in and one of the things
that I noticed right away is this beautiful piece that
he did and it's like abstract but like a human
body nude, and it's really beautiful. It captured my eye.
And we're talking to him and he's like, oh, so
if you like that one, I do have some more
in the back.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
And I'm like, there's a back.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yea for the high rollers. Now he explained why he brought.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
He walked us into this back room and it's nothing
but that like nudes of the human body that he did.

They's not explicit. It's art. It is art, but some
people don't want to see that, and it is art.

It's art, you know.

It really is beautiful.

In fact, One of the things I wanted to say
was that our Phoebe should see because she's an artist,
and she would think that's beautiful.

It's it really is tasteful, tasteful.

The rest of the gallery of sunsets and birds and
this is let's bring our fourteen year old into the
nude role.

Oh my god, you have this gorgeous room and like
one of them is blue, and all all of it's blue,
and then another one's like, you know, grays, and.

Which wrong was your favorite? Murphy?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I like the blue. He said that that follows the
golden ratio, which I'd never heard of before, like.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
A woman's body in any way, The cool thing is
he's like, the reason he has that back room in
the first place said because some of his clientele is offended.
I'm like, I got offend it. This is the only
room I want to be in. But but Murphy, don't
go back and buy one. We don't need that, you
don't need.

I might just go hang out in the room.

Coming out Hollywood, and it's launch day for Disney Plus,

new high school musical series that has launched. That's there.
The difference is, here's the difference from the Disney streaming
service and others. New episodes of new things like that
high school musical stuff. You won't be able to binge
them right away. They're going to drop every Friday. You
have to watch it like the Old School. And on

Disney Plus, nothing rated are. They're staying with the family
friendly feel of everything. Disney Plus if you want rated
our content, I guess they're in cahoots with Hulu for

make them feel that what you do uh is important

and when you have a success, hey be their champion
and champion contrast, also also consult them in their failures.
You know, you always want to be there. You want
to be that that shoulder you want to go on
to anybody else. Stop Mama, not daddy. You know I'm sister,
not best friend. You want to be that guy or
that gal uh and another thing. Have your own things
to do, be yourself. Say that my wife enjoys doing.

We've been married twenty seven years. Yes, she enjoys running,
as you know, and being doing zoomba and teaching that
and having her girl time with coffee right and doing
that and be gone for hours. I love the fish,
I love the hunt. I love to I do sports broadcasting,
so yeah, I love that part of my life. And
but we also have our things we love. We love

to watch scary movies together because she is a screen queen,
but we also love to get back together. But it
allows us to be ourselves and you know, be who
we are. And that's what I love about her. I
love that she is her own woman and she can
do her own thing and doesn't need me to be
right there, but she wants me to be there right.

Somebody that needs you, they are constantly would drag on
you and pull on you, I feel. But yeah, somebody
who has their own thing is very attractive. And also
you need that for your own sanity. You need to

oldest living American president at ninety five years old, and
if he wasn't in surgery, he'd be putting up a
Christmas tree and probably going to church.

Well, when he's had all these falls, he's bleeding. So yeah,
that's where they need to stop that. That's all I

for Disney. They launched Disney Plus, the streaming service with
everything you can imagine, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, not Geo,
new things like Lady in the Tramp, that new movie
The Mandalorian, and we get Nemo.

can't envision your life that way. What was it when?

I mean, that's not the trivial lives are. There plenty
of people that lived their lives that way. We're just saying,
it's when you when you've gone through this place and
your your oldest is in our senior year of high school,

It's it's it's the ultimate thing that splits your life
before you had children after And so it was nice.
We ended up talking about them and it was nice.
But it's funny it's at how how much, how large

So Sam, I want, we want to tell you the
second part of the story of us going to the
art gallery the other day, Murphy.

There was one painting up front of this woman's body
and it was so beautiful and I was asking questions
about it and very abstract, yes not abstract, so abstract
that I couldn't tell it wasn't naked late well, and
I loved it. I loved it. I loved everything about it.
And he could see that, so he invited us, the
artists it was his gallery, to the back room and

I was like, oh, there's a back room and it's
filled with more of those sort of paintings and they're beautiful,
and one of them especially I loved, remember I loved
the blue one, and I love the one where it's
like you're looking up at her told us her body.
But anyway, it was funny and the question Murphy asked

the obvious question, why are these only in the back room?
And his answer was that some of the older clientele
seemed to get offended.

That's understandable, right.

But it's interesting it's men, older men, and not women, he.

we say two nights, you know, for the weekend, over
over the weekend, and so Sunday morning we are checking

out and leaving and Murphy drops me off with this
little shop. I want to go to and church bells
are ringing, and this is sleepy little town where people
are walking to church. And who's walking his wife to church?
Arm in arm but the artist and it.

Was like, hey, how are you sweet? He walking and says, yeah, yeah,
they came into my story yesterday, but I don't remember
what we talked about.

We went to the back.

Room, have fun in church. The Star Wars Land in
Disneyland in California has had to change up some of
the menu items in the restaurant there. Why why too nerdy?

Comes to Star. Apparently it was too nerdy because they
were doing stuff like fried in Dorian tip yip and
people are like, what is that?

That is now called indoor and fried chicken. Okay, Mustafarian
lava roll is now referred to as the Mustafarian cinnamon roll.

You can do that and bring bring crackers.

Yeah, and you know that's not just for people who
don't have cooking game. There's so many things going on
right exactly. You want to work. You want to bring
something quality that you know it doesn't take a whole
ton of time.

The other idea is something I whipped out last year,
and that's French bread. I cut it up and then
I spread store bought spinach artichoke dip on top of
it and baked it for like five six minutes until
it got all happy. Oh my god that it went.
It was all gone. Yeah, before like the I think
it was like appetizer.

Even It's all good stuff.

It's our countdown to Thanksgiving. We posted the recipes online
for you right now, our most personal favorite Thanksgiving recipes

I happened to pawn the easiest side dish ever. And
that's because well, it's actually more like an appetizer.

That's one of the tricks.

This isn't like buy a pack Hawaiian rolls and heat
them up. No, but it's not easy.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
It's not.

It's not much more intense than that. So if you
have zero cooking game and you want to bring something,
it is such a trick. You'll remember this. Last year
we had a house full of guests and it was crazy,
and I looked up and it was like two o'clock
and we were supposed to be somewhere at four and
I was supposed to have had made something and I didn't,
so I was like, what do I do?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
And I didn't want to go get in traffic.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
So I had a roll of a roll of French bread,
Italian bread, whatever, soft, fresh, wonderful, and I also had
a container of our favorite like spinach and artichoke dip
spread that I bought it forgot remember this.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
So cut up the bread.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I cut it into pieces, and I put a little bit,
well a good bit, slathered it on each piece, and
then I heated that up so we wouldn't have to
cut it after. So you know, it takes a little time,
but that's all it took. I mean, anybody can do this.
Stuck it in the oven until it was nice and
bubbly and warm, and then we brought that huge hit.

None of it left.

At the end of the night, none of it.

I was honest, I've working on this day long.

those figures. I mean, I really thought I was doing
something novel and cool.

So years ago, when we did go to this bed
and breakfast on our honeymoon, I don't know what reason,
except that Murphy likes candy. You brought a bag of
miniature mounds, you know, the dark chocolate coconut candy. And
I had never been about that candy, but you were like, hey,
some mounds delicious, and so I remember eating mounds like

I remember how your honeymoon memory. Yeah, one of them.

Yeah, because we sat there and ate almost an entire bag.

Anyway, So it's one of those little things that becomes

So when I was buying Halloween candy a couple of
weeks ago, I bought a bag of mounds and I
stuck it at the bottom of my overnight bag. And
we get there and I was going to break it out.
I was gonna wait till Saturday night or whatever.

As soon as we get there Friday night and we
were unpacking and arriving and checking out, you know, the
old house and all this, Murphy's like, I have one
little surprise.

I didn't get that. I got there really like.

He stole my thunder a little bit. But it's so

and it's like cause we had two bags tons. It
was so funny when we got home Sunday evening when

it a two week mark.

No, Well, you know it's not so much she's chasing things.
She only digs when there's something interesting to chasewise that's.

Going to be a thing, though, there's always going to
be something else that we have neighbors and so we
you know, there's that to consider because it's going to
be our dogs are our dogs besides her are lazy,
so we've not had to do any fence work. And
then we get it Layla. It's like watch out, she's
digging a hole. She's gonna go next door.

But I think I have the solution of that at
least I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna do brick pavers
and so, you know, and they're going to be put
in in a way where you can't dig past them.

No, it's not gonna look great, but it will be functional.

any of it yet. They really seem to be in harmony.

crazy about her one positive once and not so positive.
She was able to the fence wasn't latched yesterday and
she was able to get out and run out of
the gates.

But she ran around and came back several times, and
then we called and got her back so she comes

And there was even a TV show in the that
went on.

So it was a big deal.

When a truck would pass, he'd be like, look, this
is it, and he'd start naming how many tons it
was carrying.

And I'm just like, honk at me, honk at me.

Okay, now that that's out the way. I was just
wondering if truckers still do this, because the reason I'm
asking is I was bringing the twins home yes his
past weekend, and there was a guy in front of
me and we were passing on the left side, passing
a long line of eighteen wheelers.

So you did it?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
No, the guy in front, I could see his hand
doing this. He passed one. Nothing, Oh wow, that was
the next one. He does it again. Nothing.

He just don't do it anymore.

Truck in a row and nobody did it. And I'm thinking,
is it because they're back to back? Is it because
they don't do that anymore?

It's a safety issue. Probably. Think about how loud those
horns are. And I actually saw somebody swerve in front
of us one time when the when the horn was
hong because you know, it's it's carry man.

It's not safe anymore. So it's not fun.

So one of my favorite parts that I'll always remember
about our anniversary weekend Murphy is the art gallery. So
I was doing all this sweet sleepy town Christmas shopping,
not even a ton of it, just looking around, taking
our time on a beautiful day before the game, and
there's only one art gallery on the whole strip we
walk in it.

This is the same one.

Where years ago, or a year or two ago, I
saw a painting that I loved and I was like, ooh,
it's so pretty the owls. And then Murphy's two weeks
later sneaks back and buys it for me for Christmas.

Nice for why I was gone for four hours.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
It's such a slick move. You truly surprised me with that.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Anyway, this is the same gallery and it's a really
nice artist and he has other artists that he showcases,
but he also has a lot of.

His own work.

And so we walk in and one of the things
that I noticed right away is this beautiful piece that
he did and it's like abstract but like a human
body nude, and it's really beautiful. It captured my eye.
And we're talking to him and he's like, oh, so
if you like that one, I do have some more
in the back.

And I'm like, there's a back.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yea for the high rollers. Now he explained why he brought.

He walked us into this back room and it's nothing
but that like nudes of the human body that he did.

They's not explicit. It's art. It is art, but some
people don't want to see that, and it is art.

It really is beautiful.

was that our Phoebe should see because she's an artist,
and she would think that's beautiful.

room I want to be in. But but Murphy, don't

to do, be yourself. Say that my wife enjoys doing.

We've been married twenty seven years. Yes, she enjoys running,
as you know, and being doing zoomba and teaching that
and having her girl time with coffee right and doing
that and be gone for hours. I love the fish,
I love the hunt. I love to I do sports broadcasting,
so yeah, I love that part of my life. And
but we also have our things we love. We love

to watch scary movies together because she is a screen queen,
but we also love to get back together. But it
allows us to be ourselves and you know, be who
we are. And that's what I love about her. I
love that she is her own woman and she can
do her own thing and doesn't need me to be
right there, but she wants me to be there right.

is that she does. I mean, she's known for starting
shows late, and she did it to you, she did

would be X number two. Yeah, I mean we flew somewhere,
we had a destination weekend and she was literally two
hours late. That's not cool. But it's like, you paid

to be here. You pay for the hotel and the air,
so we weren't going anywhere.

of dates for July of next year in New York City.
Right after that they said they're gone on tour. The
only one not invited back is the drummer who wrote

Situated in the house situated and the kids situated, we're underway.

We're exhausted.

It's like eight thirty on a Friday night, and we're like,
but we ended up you realize we ended up talking
about what we ended up talking about. It's so funny.
Twenty years I don't remember. It's okay, It just it
struck me as funny.

It was obviously you know, I don't care.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
I don't care that you don't remember. I don't expect
you to.

I'm saying, pretty incredible sandwich.

So what were we talking about? We covered a lot

You've been married all this time, and because we talked
about arriving there all those years ago and then arriving
there tonight and how different our lives are, we were

Yeah, it's weird because you can't picture the time. I
remember the conversation now, you know, we were just talking
about how when before you had kids. It's just you
can't envision your life that way. What was it when?
What did Jody and I do? You know?

What the world were we even ever, you know, concerned with.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
I mean, that's not the trivial lives are. There plenty
of people that lived their lives that way. We're just saying,
it's when you when you've gone through this place and
your your oldest is in our senior year of high school,
it hits you. Wow, you can't.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
It's it's it's the ultimate thing that splits your life
before you had children after And so it was nice.
We ended up talking about them and it was nice.
But it's funny it's at how how much, how large
it looms in your life. Yeah, you know, that's all.

Well, and I'm glad you were reminded me because yes,
that was a good sandwich.

they're gonna like give you the first episode of a
new series like the High School Musical one, and then
they will drop the new episodes every Friday, and nothing
rated are here, Disney. Plus, I'm going to remain in

they're Hulu. Also, you're looking for more grown up content,

So Sam, I want, we want to tell you the
second part of the story of us going to the
art gallery the other day, Murphy.

There was one painting up front of this woman's body
and it was so beautiful and I was asking questions
about it and very abstract, yes not abstract, so abstract
that I couldn't tell it wasn't naked late well, and
I loved it. I loved it. I loved everything about it.
And he could see that, so he invited us, the
artists it was his gallery, to the back room and
(34:23):
I was like, oh, there's a back room and it's
filled with more of those sort of paintings and they're beautiful,
and one of them especially I loved, remember I loved
the blue one, and I love the one where it's
like you're looking up at her told us her body.
But anyway, it was funny and the question Murphy asked
(34:48):
the obvious question, why are these only in the back room?
And his answer was that some of the older clientele
seemed to get offended.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
That's understandable, right.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
But it's interesting it's men, older men, and not women, he.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Says, he finds women totally more.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Okay, every bit of this is tasteful. Obviously, it's well done.

You know, you wouldn't be offended. You'd be up front
here for the back room.

Anyway, the funny.

Part of this is his He's got other artists in
his gallery, and one of the other artists is his wife.
She's also an artist, so some of her work is
in that, don't He likes to joke that she is.
She's not, I mean, but anyway, the sweet thing is,
we say two nights, you know, for the weekend, over
over the weekend, and so Sunday morning we are checking
(35:41):
out and leaving and Murphy drops me off with this
little shop. I want to go to and church bells
are ringing, and this is sleepy little town where people
are walking to church. And who's walking his wife to church?
Arm in arm but the artist and it.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Was like, hey, how are you sweet? He walking and says, yeah, yeah,
they came into my story yesterday, but I don't remember
what we talked about.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
It's like.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
We went to the back.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Room, have fun in church. The Star Wars Land in
Disneyland in California has had to change up some of
the menu items in the restaurant there. Why why too nerdy?
Speaker 3 (36:23):
There's no such thing as too nerdy when it.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
Comes to Star. Apparently it was too nerdy because they
were doing stuff like fried in Dorian tip yip and
people are like, what is that?
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Oh yeah, I mean I wouldn't know what that.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
That is now called indoor and fried chicken. Okay, Mustafarian
lava roll is now referred to as the Mustafarian cinnamon roll.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Wasn't selling because people didn't know what because it wasn't like, oh, okay,
that's not too nerdy.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
It's about being specific and saying what things are.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
It's a little nerdy because if you knew the language,
you would probably know.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Away so that language, that lava roll thing means cinnamon roll, and.

In the Bats language apparently it means stuff. See I'm
not nerdy enough to know what all that stuff means.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Yeah, good for you. Yeah, so you're nerdy enough to
tell us about this.

You could pour salt, salsa, but some sort of chutney
on there. Anything, Yeah, jellies, pepper jelly, shut me whatever,
pepper jelly.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
Hey, who ruined Christmas?
Speaker 3 (38:01):
You can do that and bring bring crackers.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
Along, right, spreaders.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
And a spreader and your set.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Yeah, and you know that's not just for people who
don't have cooking game. There's so many things going on
right exactly. You want to work. You want to bring
something quality that you know it doesn't take a whole
ton of time.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
Yeah, okay, sorry I said it. I read it once. Okay.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
The other idea is something I whipped out last year,
and that's French bread. I cut it up and then
I spread store bought spinach artichoke dip on top of
it and baked it for like five six minutes until
it got all happy. Oh my god that it went.
It was all gone. Yeah, before like the I think
it was like appetizer.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Even It's all good stuff.

So just ideas for you count down to Thanksgiving.
