Speaker 2 (00:10):
My first year. I hope I don't mess it.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Up, and I do like the I passed by there
the other day yesterday and there was only like three
names in there, so I wasn't going to participate.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
It's like, you know, I like a big crowd. It
was early on, but they're a handful in there now.
So I picked up your little sheet of paper.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay, oh you're gonna play.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
I don't even know what the questions are on the paper.
I've not picked it up.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
It's it's easy. There's only a few questions. In fact,
if you want, we can go around to count here. Okay,
name I put Sam for me? Nice favorite foods, drinks
and candies. Yeah, I got Coke zero, peanuts, munchies you
know those bags.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I knownchies, get cats and peanut M and m's nice.
You were specific.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Yeah, I like that specific. He's a guest.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
Yeah, because I know you so well, I would I
would be good a good You would be a good
recipient from me.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
What are your favorite foods, drinks and candy.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Me I put coffee. I can't remember what else I put? Oh,
anything chocolate and anything crunchy cheesy, because that's true. Cheese
crackers and cheese, popcorn and stuff like that works for me,
you know that.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
What about you?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
I like diet ginger ale, that's right, and uh, I
like I like that energy drinks drinking, and so I
mean for sweets too, man, I love that Giradelli peppermint bark.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
You love any peppermint bark?
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Really?
Speaker 4 (01:44):
That one time? That is so good?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, And that's the thing.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
Get specific on your wish list that will you get
sweet stuff that you.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Like the problem with that is you tend to want
to eat it, eat it, eat it. I mean I
can't stop eating it. I saw something in the in
a convenience store that.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
I always do away from home.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
So the what's the what is it? The ferraro roca?
What is that?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I help us.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Enough?
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Well, they have one that is a Christmas ornament and
so it's big ball. It's a big ball that then
has two of the smaller candies in it. But apparently
the ornament itself is made of chocolate. Unless I'm misunderstanding.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Everybody just makes you buy it.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Well, I mean I really wanted to. It's got the
hazelnut lacing thingy on the inside of it, but I
couldn't really tell if it was, you know, plastic or
if it was really chocolate. But uh, anyway, maybe I
should ask for one.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Of those to Honestly, Murphy likes any snack from a
gas station.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
You should just put that beef. You walk in and
you're like so happy.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Favorite sense candle, soaps, et cetera. I got eucalyptus, lavender.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, yeah, tea tree.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
And woodwick to be specific.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Nice. Did you let everybody know that you like bath bombs?
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Oh? I got to do that, Yeah, bath bombs.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
You know I read somewhere that too much tea tree
reduces your testosterone levels.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
You know, that's why he got rid of all of it.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
I've seen that too, but it hasn't stopped me.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, it stopped me. But I love you know what
out out? So I love lavender. I love sage. That's
a nice scent.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
One of my favorite candles in the whole wide world
is called sage and citrus. I want to say it's
a Yankee candle that sucker smells incredible.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
It is.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
It makes the house smell so great. Anyway, I just
want to restate too, for anybody who might still want
to participate, it's so super easy there next week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
If you if you pull a secret Santa name, you
secretly give that person a small gift for three days
in a row, you know, and we mean between three
(03:57):
to five dollars, like, and you secretly give it and
then Thursday night we're having our Christmas party. That's when
you reveal and bring a gift. Hey, I'm your Santa
kind of a thing. So it's really only.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Big let down. Oh it's been you.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
No, it's not a let down.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
I love that little reveal when somebody walks up to
you at the party and goes here, You're like, oh,
it's been you.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I've loved this.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
And for me, it literally would be as simple as,
you know, a can of diet ginger.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Ale and a bucket of chicken, a bar lavender soap.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
And you know, pepper and some sage to burn.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
I'm going to tell you what and even encouraged in
the email, and I'm going to send it out again
to be creative, like it doesn't. You don't have to
go and buy little things. You could make stuff. I
wouldn't hate it at all. If our friend MJ down
the Hall got my name and gifted me home baked
goods constantly. If she did that, what secret, Sanda? It
(04:54):
just means, you know, surprise somebody daily. It's almost like
having a secret admirer, you know, but.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
That you're paying for. Basically, YEA favorite colors.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Oh, I put purple and black because those are my
favorite colors.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Yeah, I know you're purple.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
I love purple.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I put heather, gray and blue.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Okay, that's colors likely Whenever I'm asked about college, I
love gray.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
I don't know what it is about gray.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Well your colorblinds am, Well.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm saying you have anything to do with it? I could.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
I just I think I've always liked gray because it's
neutral and goes with anything.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, it does. It also goes with your mood.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Sometimes gray and blue are e your's colors.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
I think there's something to that. What about you? My
favorite colors.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Red and black? I know, wow, Yeah, I like those
two colors. I mean, you know it's Jody has said, I,
you know, wear too many earth tones time. Wasn't there
a time that you thought I just everything I bought
was earth tone? Is like I needed to vary it up.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Well, I remember wanting to see you in some more
spring like colors. Colors, and you look good in those
two because your skin tone.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yeah, you know, I just realized. As much as I
love red, I don't wear any. I don't have any
red shirts right now. But I mean I love the cold.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
You don't have any red clothes?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, oh I know why? Well, never mind, just to
do with the gut you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Oh no, it doesn't.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
It may have to do with games, sports, Oh oh
yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
And he dislikes Oh.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, did you put anything in the dislike column?
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah, but mine has nothing to do with gifts.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
It's traffic, slow check out lines and anything too cutesy.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
I know that was the last one is actionable. You
know you won't get my little pony I made.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
I made a funny on my dislikes thing too, put
late production requests.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
We just work related in the office, just.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
For a ha ha. I mean mine would be cilantro.
Please don't not that somebody's going to gift me Cilantro.
But I really don't want any I don't like it.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
You know, nobody would would anyway. I stole those little
slips from my cousin Crystal, who does Secret Sannah kicked up.
She does that around her office and they do a
you know, a build up all week and they do
a Christmas party on Friday where you show up with
a rapped gift finally for yours, a wrapped gift with
only the recipient's name on it, and they put them
(07:17):
on a table and when it's time to do the gifts,
they all you go up to the table and you
get the gift with your name on it, and you
sit and they sit in a circle and I guess
you go around and you try to guess who Secret
Sanda do you all week just when you gift you have,
if you can guess who your Secret Sannah was, then
you can open, but you can only open until that.
(07:38):
That does sound fun. They have a really fun family,
you know, sort of feel at their workplace.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Well, and you know, I mean the thing is that
it doesn't really have to cost a fortune. You can
get creative. So if you go to the dollar store
or like if it's a favorite candy, it doesn't have
to be a whole big bag of five dollars bag
of candy. You know it can be if somebody bought us.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
Big thing of peppermint bark and gifted you a little
bit of it every day day.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, you would be in heaven.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah. Two of those would be fun. And that's bags
by the way, I'm just kidding. Oh yeah, Andy's Mints.
I love that. See, you're right, A lot of little things. Yeah,
you could do five Andy's minsme.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
I'm a fan of the big candy bars.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
That's a riff off. I think, Hey, here's five Andy's Mints.
That's a start.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
There's a way to upset him for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yes, but if it's about building the mystery or the
you know, I mean you could mix and match a
little things, it doesn't match. Remember we had a coworker
named Laurie who used to make her Christmas tea every year.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
She would give it right and I like, she stopped
giving it to you guys because she knew that you
didn't drink it.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
But I did. It's the easiest thing in the world
and it didn't cost a fortune. It was a blend
of instant iced tea tang. Yeah, and I mean sugar, Yeah,
and sugar, And I'm telling you good. Nothing spices the
tea up a little bit more than that. That tang
actually makes it.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Does.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
How many years we had that but I never tasted it.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
It's so good, goode really I liked it.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Tang not grape tang.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yeah, that would be kind of nasty. And tea well anyway,
tea anyway.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
I'm gla.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
If you do Secret Santa, if you put your name in,
you have to be on it next week and it's
you know, you really have to do it, meaning you
got to remember, you know, he has a million things
going on.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Basically you're going to be buying the gifts for it.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
I don't want to what I'm saying. I need to
own it.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
When I get the list, I'll go buy everything it
wants instead of going to the store every day.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Or go on your way in. But you have to
also secretly. It's it takes a little planning. That's what
makes it fun. You know, I would not want my
person whoever I get to know it's me, So I'm
gonna you I'm gonna have some helpers hopefully helping me,
you know, sneak things wherever it's going to be.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Last year, I had a blast given the gifts because
you know, Austin, you did it that like a Coke
zero or diet coke and Nacho or Dorito's and all that,
and it was like it was fun to give them
a big bag of Dorito's and a six pack of Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
I agree. So I just have to be careful about
how I well, you don't want your handwriting to reveal anything.
So I can't do that, and I can't I can't
get help. I can't do the creative thing that I
do with you, Jody, where I write, you know, hello,
qutie pie or anything like that.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
On the well, I hope you give it to somebody
else like that.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Very simple solution to that, and I use this too
every year. What you do it on your you print it.
I can tell and you just put it there, you know,
Merry Christmas from secrets saying I hope you like the whatever.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Very good. Yeah, that's that's a better idea than me
trying to write with my left hand, you know, disguise
it that.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Way, all right.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
So if you participate, just know, handle it, get it
all ready this weekend and then then we'll do all right.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Get the feeling Jody doesn't want me to produce.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
That I really do, but I don't want you to
hit me at eleven o'clock at night.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Hey, can you help me with my secret Santa?
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Yeah? I will own my space.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
