Okay, how much exercise does it actually take to combat
a full day of sitting around? If your work requires
that you sit around a lot, then you gotta find
ways to move. Add movement to your day, to your life.
We're meant to move. It feels good to move, Okay,

don't you agree. I go to the bathroom, I go
get one, and then it also feels good to rest
when needed.

Have you ever seen those ergonomic desks that people stand at,
You know, they can raise when they can look cool? Yeah,
and you just adjust if you want to stand for
all you do?

And is that the one that has the chairs that
you're like on your knee what you're talking about on

Or I have a friend who works in the office
furniture industry, and I toured her showroom once. Oh my gosh,
I literally thought, if Murphy were here, we'd be buying
one of everything. Yeah, it was so cool.

the side. You flick it and it starts raising right up.
That's liking a doctor.

I don't mean it, but look, okay, listen, listen, listen though,
if you sit a lot, the question is and science
sort of figured it out and I thought it was
super interesting. How much exercise does it take for you
to combat a day of a lot of sitting around?
I care about that, so I feel better when I
move a ton. Like a long time ago, I had

jobs that it calls me to move around all day,
unlike this Sam. So apparently, thirty to forty minutes per
day is what you need to combat a ton of sitting.
But if you can't fit that in, you do overall,
like overall of your span of a week five to

seven days. If you can just move and walk at
least walk ten minutes a day length in your life
better for everything, your heart, you're breathing everything, Sam, Well,
think about.

People that you know that's all they do for a
living is physical activity or like delivery guys. Man, they're
always in shape ladies, you know, I mean it's you
could probably eat what you want.

We have a friend whose wife cleans homes and she
always had. She may not do that forever, but wow,
is she in shape? You know what I mean? She
doesn't have to go work out after work, she's working
out all day long. Yeah, it's and she's insane. Look
in shape. I love it. Okay, So thirty to forty

the generator. But they didn't think to get gas. So

Maybe that's a blessing because you know some people, generators
can be risky business if you don't use them all

we're not going to have power till November. Mom, that
long time.

of time that that city will be in, that situation

with this level and then you have to use this
apoxy and then you have this light you shine and
for it to be completely perfect when you when you
pull it out. Otherwise you can actually create the dent
in reverse. You can make it worse if you don't

cannot even come back to and if they're coming back,

of these towns are going to be weeks, if not
months until they see power, especially the big transmission line

things happening, and it's certainly not just New Orleans, although

I think it's Prime, okay. And so it's about his
Val Gilmer record.

Apparently since he was a kid, record always had a

there's this whole documentary of all that up until him
losing his voice.

use his actual voice to recreate something he uses today

in the new movie. And I said this in the
first five seconds of the first trailer. The funeral that
they show in the trailer, question mark, this is Steven's
take that it's Iceman's funeral. He firmly believes that, So
it makes sense. It does make sense, you know, I

kind of was hoping for But that doesn't mean he's
not in the film, because you can always be in
a film and going back and remember.

Yeah, that's a movie that I am so ready to

friends who've never seen Top Gun, and it's like, that's

the jet scenes are crazy good.

So I remember earlier this week and mentioned to you
about the poll saw sam that I tried to use
at home. Yeah, that's what our youngest Phoebe calls it.
A chainsaw on a stick. It's an electric one and
it belonged to my father, and my dad was always
he taught us even as kids, if we cut the
grass with the lawnmower, he would clean it. After it
cooled off, he would clean the whole thing off. It

was Yes, it was shiny. It didn't get gunked up,
which actually was smart for him because a lot of
his equipment lasted longer as a result.

Right, but had a special reverie for equipment.

bit obsessed with that. And so when I get the
pole saw down, yeah, which he's used multiple times, by

been my first clue, it had the little protective sleeve
over the chains, which made sense to me. And then
it still had the tie wraps with the way that

the cord was set up. And then on top of
that the little you know, the plug itself had some
sort of plastic piece that was over the prongs.

get one, and then it also feels good to rest
when needed.

Or I have a friend who works in the office
furniture industry, and I toured her showroom once. Oh my gosh,

the side. You flick it and it starts raising right up.
That's liking a doctor.

if you sit a lot, the question is and science
sort of figured it out and I thought it was
super interesting. How much exercise does it take for you
to combat a day of a lot of sitting around?
I care about that, so I feel better when I
move a ton. Like a long time ago, I had

jobs that it calls me to move around all day,
unlike this Sam. So apparently, thirty to forty minutes per
day is what you need to combat a ton of sitting.
But if you can't fit that in, you do overall,
like overall of your span of a week five to
(08:45):
seven days. If you can just move and walk at
least walk ten minutes a day length in your life
better for everything, your heart, you're breathing everything, Sam, Well,
think about.

People that you know that's all they do for a
living is physical activity or like delivery guys. Man, they're
always in shape ladies, you know, I mean it's you
could probably eat what you want.

We have a friend whose wife cleans homes and she
always had. She may not do that forever, but wow,
is she in shape? You know what I mean? She
doesn't have to go work out after work, she's working
out all day long. Yeah, it's and she's insane. Look
in shape. I love it. Okay, So thirty to forty
minutes to combat a full day of sitting.

I've never haven't been able to talk to her yet,

That's good. But of course after one day she has
the generator. But they didn't think to get gas. So
that's over and.

That makes your head so well, I know, I know.

Maybe that's a blessing because you know some people, generators
can be risky business if you don't use them all
the time. That's a good thing.

And the first message I you know, because I kept
text messaging, he's still alive, you know, haha, I know
she's alive of course, hanging tight and swearing yes. And
then I'm sorry that was sweating, not swearing, she messaged me. Uh,
she goes, yeah, the guy from the Power I heard

from somebody who talked to somebody and it's like, yeah,
we're not going to have power till November. Mom, that
long time.

It's going to be longer. That's the thing. Your Mom's
done this before, so she knows what to expect. But
there is there is pressure, the pressure of that feeling
and she's felt it before. But there is the length
of time that that city will be in, that situation
will wear on her this time. That's my prediction. Maybe
next time she'll next time she will be swearing.

found a dent removal kit online, and I'm gonna tell
you the bottom line is, I did not do this

myself because I realized I shouldn't try it. It came
with this level and then you have to use this
apoxy and then you have this light you shine and
for it to be completely perfect when you when you
pull it out. Otherwise you can actually create the dent
in reverse. You can make it worse if you don't
do ray.

Three things you need to know today.

Number One, Hurricane Ida may be up and gone from Louisiana,
but the state will never be the same again. And
it's not just New Orleans. There are cities and little
towns that you've never heard of that are at uninhabitable
right now, places like Grand Isle, Barrier Island, Homa, Louisiana, Laplace.

I'm thinking Golden meadow, all these little places where people
cannot even come back to and if they're coming back,
they're coming back to almost nothing.

And the power companies are saying this is a lot
of these towns are going to be weeks, if not
months until they see power, especially the big transmission line
stuff in New Orleans. Right.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Some of the damage that the power companies are reporting
that they're facing, it's because of the power of the
storm they'd never faced before. So when you see these
things happening, and it's certainly not just New Orleans, although
New Orleans was hit very hard. Number two speaking of
it from New Orleans, Tampa Bay Buck Leonard Fournette one
of the players because he says he never really left

New Orleans, his heart never did. He's giving one hundred
thousand dollars, okay for relief efforts there, along with other
coaches in the NFL, like Saints owner Galbinson one million

You know, maybe we should write a song, but let's
go eat first. So they all went to eat. When
they came back, they had all been drinking, and so
nobody remembered what John Deacon was playing, and so they
tried and tried, and finally the drummer, Roger Taylor, remembered
the beat, and so they did it. And then David
and uh Freddie Mercury sat down and decided to write
the words to it, and boom, presto Chaine.

going to be about a fourteen year old girl with
telekinetic power. And I'm thinking, oh, like Carrie. Wow, that's

look for that, apparently out sometime next year. Graphic novel

heard you talking about Iceman on Top Gun, which is
Val Kilmer. So, Sam, there's a Val Kilmer documentary documentary.
You watched it already. Where is it?

I think it's Prime, okay. And so it's about his
Val Gilmer record.

Apparently since he was a kid, record always had a
camera and recorded everything. He's like Murphy can't record everything.
He and his brothers making up plays and everything. So
there's this whole documentary of all that up until him
losing his voice.

And that's how he has that the movies he was
in and everything, the AI voice. They were able to
use his actual voice to recreate something he uses today
to speak with.

And we were talking about the fact that Top Gun, Maverick,
that movie that's coming out later this year finally in theaters,
that that Val Kilmer is a part of it, and

and Maverick. Since birth, I have eaten, lived, and breathed
aviation and was fourteen years old when Top Gun premiered

in eighty six. Here is my take on Iceman's role
in the new movie. And I said this in the
first five seconds of the first trailer. The funeral that
they show in the trailer, question mark, this is Steven's
take that it's Iceman's funeral. He firmly believes that, So
it makes sense. It does make sense, you know, I

kind of was hoping for But that doesn't mean he's
not in the film, because you can always be in
a film and going back and remember.

Lashbacks or other things like that.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
Yeah, that's a movie that I am so ready to
see because if you watch it, like for I have
friends who've never seen Top Gun, and it's like, that's
your job now to see this before November. Go see
you know, go see the old one, or watch the
old one for it's time. The flying, the filming of
the jet scenes are crazy good.

The way that they mounted cameras under the wings and
those kinds of things. Yeah, there was no there was well,
there was CGI, but it is very primitive time.

So I remember earlier this week and mentioned to you
about the poll saw sam that I tried to use
at home. Yeah, that's what our youngest Phoebe calls it.
A chainsaw on a stick. It's an electric one and
it belonged to my father, and my dad was always
he taught us even as kids, if we cut the
grass with the lawnmower, he would clean it. After it
cooled off, he would clean the whole thing off. It

was Yes, it was shiny. It didn't get gunked up,
which actually was smart for him because a lot of
his equipment lasted longer as a result.

Right, but had a special reverie for equipment.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
So he was a bit of a he was a
bit obsessed with that. And so when I get the
pole saw down, yeah, which he's used multiple times, by
the way, just so that you know. When I took
it out of its box, which I guess would have
been my first clue, it had the little protective sleeve
over the chains, which made sense to me. And then
it still had the tie wraps with the way that

the cord was set up. And then on top of
that the little you know, the plug itself had some
sort of plastic piece that was over the prongs.

He protected that. He never used he put it.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Oh yeah, he used the saw. But he put everything
back like that or not.

All that stuff goes in the garbage this minute. Soon
