Speaker 1 (00:09):
At all at all.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
So don't given a mola a million bus bussing boy.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Steve listening to me to hand, I.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
Don't joy yea joya.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
You got you you.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
You gotta turn.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Got to turn the mouth.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Turn you probably got to turn mouth to turn him
out the water the money.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Come come on, you'll think.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and
only Steve Harley got a radio show. I was talking
with my wife and she said something her father always
used to tell her, just because you can do something
don't mean you should do it. I can't tell you

(02:21):
how many times I've had to learn that in my life.
You know, just because you can do something does not
necessarily mean you should do it. I could tell people
off oftentimes, but it don't mean I should do it.
I could go here and set the record straight a
lot of times, but it don't mean I should do it. Well,

(02:43):
I've learned a lot in that lesson, folks. And because
I have a relationship with my creator, what it's done
is it's allowed me to learn even more how to
stay still on a lot of issues that's troubling me.
I've learned it the hard way. I do want you
to understand that that sometimes it's better to be still.

(03:05):
Sometimes it's better to just let God handle the situation now.
And I know it's hard to say because we think
as people, but if I do this, I would feel better.
If I do this now, they'll feel how I feel.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
See. But that's not always the best way, though, I
found in my life.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
she was when I was young, I thought she was
just an old person just talking to me.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I didn't get it.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
You know how your parents used to talk to you
and you didn't get it, And they used to always say, well,
wait till you have your own kids, you'll get it then,
And sure enough you got it then.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Well I'm the same way. I'm no different.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
You know.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
I don't have no different life than you. You don't
have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no
different ways that I can live and you can't. You
know that I got to live by the same laws
of the land you gotta live by. I gotta obey
the principles of success. If I want to be successful,
I gotta bam. And you know, if I want to
go to heaven, I gotta do what God tell me
to do as many times as I can. Now, you

(04:10):
ain't gonna get it all right, But he understand that,
and I just get on with the best I can.
But so many times, man, we get stuck right down, man,
worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across and
what you know, kind of going around here because I'm
trying to find a way to tell you this that
you won't get twisted. The bottom line, you gotta let

(04:32):
go and let God. You have to allow him to
do it his way. See, I thought myself to a
certain point, but to go further, I had to let
God have it. I found out I wasn't all that
good a driver. I found out I wouldn't all that
good of a explore with a map. So I had
to let go. I had to let God. And you

(04:53):
gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways. How often
had I thought it was over for me? But what
God was doing was he was teaching me a lesson.
He was showing me something that I needed to know.
He was allowing me to experience some things. But he
didn't let me go under. You know how they say,
God and never put more on you than you can bear.
He won't let you go under you know. It's like

(05:15):
the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when I was
going through that traumatic thing on the internet.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Man, it was really really man trying.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
To destroy what I had worked for in my family
and this new life that God had presented me. And
the devil is busy. The devil don't like to see
you happy. So here he comes. He puts you under attack,
and he comes in and that and everything, and my
kids are suffering. But you know, here comes God. Don't see.
God don't put more on you than you can bear.
And Bishop Olma sent me a scripture, he sent me

(05:44):
Isaiah forty three one and two. And then that scripture
it says to the effect that you can walk through
the water the rivers, and the water won't overcome you.
But then it said you can walk through the fire
and you will not get burned, nor will kindling set
upon your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See,

(06:06):
God sent me through something, but he was showing me
something too. Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring
that calamity into my life because in Isaiah fifty four
seventeen it says clearly that if anyone comes against you,
it will not be my doing. Now, this is what
he promised you. When people come for you don't see.
And this is what I learned. That's why I have

(06:27):
no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
in order for me to learn that. You can't have
a testimony without a test you know what I'm saying.
You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
did was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed
into my life. But he taught me something. And Isaiah

(06:47):
forty three to one and two was and you could
walk through the fire and not get burned, nor wal
kindling set upon your clothing. So what that said to
me was, even though you trying to do me and
it's fire all around me, I won't burn. But when
it's over, kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that
showed me was not only would I walk through the

(07:07):
fire and not get burned, but there will be no
signs that I was ever in the fire. There's no
signs of it. But not hold up though. Now here
go the part though, that I had to learn. Even
though you can walk through the fire, y'all, and even
though you're being flames and scorching all around you, if
you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn. But
now hear what he did not say. Though he did

(07:29):
not say that it was not going to be uncomfortably hot,
wickedly hot in there.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
He ain't say that.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
He just said you won't.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
Burn, and when it's over, it won't be no signs
that you was in the fire. See what happened to
me was after they tried to destroy me, let me
show you what God did for me. Not only did
they not accomplish what they set out to do, but
when it was through with me, though, when they was
through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, and throwing
the hate and writing it and lining and creating all

(08:00):
these names for themselves so it could look like most
people is hating when they got through it all that man,
Look what he did to me. Look what he did
fum me because he taught me something that day. And
I'm sharing it with you because God will do the
same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
You got to get in there and you got to
let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,

(08:22):
just like pop Bridge just taught my wife Marjorie, just
because you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something. Yeah,
you could go down there and straighten them out, but
should you though? Yeah, you can go down there and
tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand up
and make sure they know it's your voice that they
hear it, and you can get in their face and
make a scene.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
But should you though, or should you let go and
let God?

Speaker 6 (08:44):
So before we run all out in the streets and
somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.

Speaker 8 (08:49):
Now.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
watch who you go out there with. But you can
go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
Hold up, partner, Hold up, what we're down here doing.
So see, sometimes man, you gotta let go and you
gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
and you get it in and do the things that
He tell you to do. See bish ohman and taught

(09:11):
me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I'm not sure the title.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
But I never really knew the definition of how do
you know it's God's voice talking to you? Well, he
clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin in it.
Whenever you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm gonna show him.
I'm gonna get him back. If it's sining in it,
God ain't in it.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
See that's you. Now. God's voice has no sining in it.
So when you say.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
God told me, be careful because God ain't never told
you to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he
told you.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
And I learned that too. It's a lot. So I'm
just sharing today.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
I hope it helps somebody today get through a difficult
time because the show has helped me.

Speaker 7 (09:59):
Morning, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up.

be cold. I got in there and all. Whatever he

(10:44):
doing in that cold, I did it in the warm
and it works out just the same. I can assure
you that nobody sitting in there for no five minutes
in a thirty degree water. I got it up to
eighty and I felt really nice. I really did.

Speaker 9 (10:57):
He what.

Speaker 7 (11:04):
Top top it is Thursday? Man, were holding it down
Steve Harvey Morning Show. When we're gonna be a little ignorant,
a little a little informative and you know, and then
I lay back when we get informed. Then when it's stupid,
I kick back in and then yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
With your warm back, your warm plunge.

Speaker 7 (11:26):
Man, y'all should try that warm plunge. Eight it to
freeze and get you a couple of little drops of alcohol.
Put it in there, you know, drink Yeah, that green alcohol,
That green alcohol. That's something that one not different. You know,
if you're aching anyway, it helps out a little epsence south.
Put some of that in there. All that cold plunge.

(11:48):
That's overrated that I can steve be talking, y'all be
just doing to stay too much.

Speaker 9 (11:52):
All that's overrated, the NFL and the athletes that do
that all the time.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
I don't know what all that inflamma?

Speaker 10 (12:03):
What you up? You know, getting everything working, you know,
waking up everything.

Speaker 7 (12:09):

How sound this one look at? That's what That's what
that hot water did to me. I walked right on up.
What when you try to set your butt in a
hot water, don't it get you up? Don't it? Don't it?

Speaker 10 (12:21):
Don't it's too hot?

Speaker 11 (12:23):
Yeah that's true.

Speaker 10 (12:25):
We like it hot.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah, yeah, we love it hot.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
Yes, we do.

Speaker 12 (12:30):
Who was the first one just to discover how Ifsen
salt work?

Speaker 11 (12:34):
Who the first person did that?

Speaker 8 (12:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (12:38):
That was that was Johnny Epsen.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
You did that? Listen to the name of the stuff.

Speaker 11 (12:43):
Boy, he said, yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
Johnny put that salt in there. He was feeling real bad.
He put it in the tub and put it in
there and it started working out really really well. And
everybody said, who did that? Johnny did that? That's john
That's that's that's Johnny saw that's Epsen sauce. Yeah, that's
that's Johnny Epsen sauce. So yeah, we've been that's where
that comes from. When they you know, lady, they added
all the lab and the flavors and all that, but
at it was just it was just Johnny Epsen. That's

(13:09):
Johnny Ebsen South. That's what you want to know. I
got history for you. I know about all this stuff,
do you now? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Now you know, Junior, Now we don't know.

Speaker 7 (13:19):
Now you know, quit listening to Uncle Steve. All same.
I'm probably more of a mental knowledge than him. I'm
a better mental fight, you know. I can really show
you the way.

Speaker 10 (13:34):
On that note, we're gonna pivot coming up at thirty
two minutes after the hour, we'll hear yet again from
the nephew as he runs that prank back right after this.

Speaker 13 (13:43):
You're listening hard Morning show.

Speaker 10 (13:47):
It is time now for the nephew to run that
prank back. Nephew, what you got?

Speaker 7 (13:51):
Well, you know what it is, Shirley. We went down
to the church yesterday and we talked about church fees,
and we are going to go back there and run
that prank back again in on church fees because we've
got some people members that really need to learn about
what it takes to be a part of this church.
All right, All minds clear, All right, church fees, cat dog,

(14:14):
if you would church fees, let me hear.

Speaker 9 (14:19):
Hello.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
Hello, I'm trying to reach touch the church. Hey you
got her? Hey? How you doing? This is this is
brother Glenn from the church.

Speaker 14 (14:25):
Hey, brother Glenn, how you doing?

Speaker 8 (14:27):
I'm good? I'm good, I'm real good. Did you enjoy service? Boring?

Speaker 14 (14:30):
Oh? I enjoyed it past the pastor brought it down?
Oh my god.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
That was a word for me, right right, right right?

Speaker 14 (14:42):
So what do I owe the pleasure this call?

Speaker 8 (14:44):
I wanted to give you some information that the that
the church has come up with and we wanted to
let you know what was going on before next Sunday.
I didn't interrupt you, No.

Speaker 14 (14:55):
No, I actually I may so. I'm a little a
little off a little bit. I'm trying to get getting
ready for my little babies, my little darlings, and I'm
trying to your voice sounds so familiar to me. It
just sounds so familiar, trying to place that voice.

Speaker 8 (15:08):
Okay, Well, you've seen me at the church quite a
few times.

Speaker 9 (15:10):
I think I have.

Speaker 14 (15:11):
I'm just trying to place it. I can't place it
right now, but what can I do?

Speaker 8 (15:14):
Well, Nevertheless, I just wanted here's what's going on now.
You're aware that for the last the last six Sundays
you've been actually coming into service late.

Speaker 14 (15:23):
Have you realized that, Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that,
but you know, yes I have. I have my reasons though.

Speaker 8 (15:30):
Okay, okay, Well here's what's going on. The officials at
the church have gotten together and this is what they've
decided on, is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday,
there would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for
coming in and disrupting service. The fastest tired of service
being disrupted by people walking in late.

Speaker 14 (15:51):
That that could not come at a worse time. I
don't have fifteen dollars to give.

Speaker 15 (15:58):
I don't have it.

Speaker 14 (16:02):
Look, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that were late. I am
We are doing our best. I have three kids. I
have three young kids, two seven and nine, and they
are a handful and we do the best that we
can to get to church on time. And and to
tell you when we get there, it's doing praise and worship.

(16:23):
I mean, Pats ain't even preaching yet.

Speaker 8 (16:25):
Sorry, I know it's not pass is not up yet,
but he's he's stating that people coming in. It just
seems very disruptive to the service that's going on. That's
so nevertheless, like I said, this is a warning call,
you know, to let you know that if you are
late on next Sunday, then they will be charging you
fifteen dollars a lafe charge. And actually you won't be
able to even come in what until you until you

(16:48):
paid a few dollars.

Speaker 14 (16:50):
I can't even get in church with we Look, okay,
Look I don't I don't owe nothing. I don't owe
you no explanations, but I need to tell you something.
We are me and my kids for the last few
Sundays that we've been late. It's because my car broke down.
We are on the bus man public transportation.

Speaker 8 (17:09):
Okay, I mean, and I understand. I understand how sound
civilitize with everything that you're going through.

Speaker 14 (17:14):
But why are you called if you understand? Why are
you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what
I'm going through?

Speaker 8 (17:18):
Well I didn't that first of all. I didn't know
what you were going Why are you raising your voice
at me? Why are you did you just raise your
voice at me?

Speaker 15 (17:25):
You know what?

Speaker 14 (17:26):
You know what I think? You're raising your voice at me?
How dare you call me about this? About a feat?
And I'm there at church? I got my keys in
there trying to raise them up is the way they
should go, just like the Bible says. And you know
why I gotta do this or why I'm mad? Why
we got touch the bus? Do you understand why that is? Brother?

Speaker 8 (17:47):
No, I do not.

Speaker 14 (17:48):
That is because they they Daddy is ain't.

Speaker 8 (17:50):
And yes it's Tracy. You got to calm down a
little bit now.

Speaker 14 (17:54):
Oh Jesus help me, Jesus help me, Jesus.

Speaker 8 (17:56):
Okay, listen, here's the deal. All I can do is
tell you this. I hope you can make it. Maybe
you can catch it earlier bus, you know what I mean,
and get there a little earlier. But I'm just stating
the facts that as of next Sunday, if you come
in late, it's fifteen dollars late fee, and that's what
you'll pay in order to get in the service.

Speaker 14 (18:14):
You know what, Well, maybe next Sunday I just won't
be there. How about that? You know I'm already working
six days a week. The only day I have office Sunday.
I've been breaking my back. Do you know I work
two jobs. I work two jobs, and they always trying
to take money out of my check, always trying to
pull me here and there, and I'm always tired. I
get two hours of sleep, and then now the church

(18:35):
wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me for being
at church when that's what I'm supposed to do.

Speaker 8 (18:41):
But you're coming in late, though, sister Tracy, you know what,
you know.

Speaker 14 (18:45):
What late ain't bad. Okay, I might be delayed, but
I ain't denied, and I'm getting there the best way
that I know how. For Oh, the bus, I have
to put my kids on the school bus and long
that I have to put them on the school bus
and I have to get on the bus to myself
to work, and I don't have a car because they
Daddy ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do you understand
what I'm saying to you?

Speaker 15 (19:06):
I need to.

Speaker 14 (19:07):
Understand Thatdy number one, it's what hit Daddy for two,
he in jail, been there about five years, he ain't
And Daddy number three he decided to go ahead and
walk out. And I ain't heard from that that trade
list in about seven months.

Speaker 15 (19:24):
Now.

Speaker 14 (19:24):
He know we struggling. He had to nerve to take
my wallet too. You don't You don't even understand what
I'm going through. You don't even understand that I'm trying
to make a better life for me and my children.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
There is one more thing, Sister Tracy, that the church
wants you to know before next Sunday that you definitely
need to know.

Speaker 14 (19:39):
What What more thing does the church want me to know?
It's not sixteen dollars.

Speaker 8 (19:42):
The Trase just wants you to know that this is
nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Shoe. Your sister
Patrece got me to prank phone call you.

Speaker 14 (19:50):
I am gonna walk.

Speaker 8 (19:52):
Hum, what what.

Speaker 15 (19:54):
I'm no walk?

Speaker 9 (19:55):
Clock?

Speaker 14 (19:55):
Are you you know I ain't got time for that. No,
I ain't got time for that.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
Oh, Patrese, gotcha right, I got.

Speaker 7 (20:06):
Something for her?

Speaker 14 (20:07):
How about that?

Speaker 8 (20:10):
You want to put a smile on your face.

Speaker 14 (20:12):
I'm gonna have to say she did right. Wow, Now
that I know you, y'all were joking and now I
know this is nephew Tommy.

Speaker 8 (20:24):
Hey, I gotta ask you something. Baby, what's the baddest
and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.

Speaker 14 (20:29):
The Steve Harvey Morning Show?

Speaker 7 (20:31):

You ain't got tim I'll be back in another hour
without doing it again. You ain't got that ready?

Speaker 13 (20:39):

Speaker 10 (20:40):

Speaker 1 (20:41):

Speaker 11 (20:42):
What? What?

Speaker 2 (20:43):

Speaker 10 (20:46):

Speaker 2 (20:49):

Speaker 11 (20:50):

Speaker 10 (20:51):

agree with that time because as a sick person, I
need you as long as I need you. I need
you like a couple of extra days. I don't care
how evil I am. I you being disrespectful, nas Yeah,
I need you to don't just jump up because the
doctor cleared me.

Speaker 11 (22:40):
I'm still sick. Stay as long as you need to.

Speaker 10 (22:44):
Okay, all right, so more than a week.

Speaker 7 (22:46):
Then you're gonna always be sick though, always.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Yeah, I know that.

Speaker 12 (22:50):
The point I'm saying is I still need you. The
point is you won't just jump up because I can walk.
You don't need to do that. Don't leave, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 7 (22:57):
The point is you need a new caretaker. That's the point.

Speaker 15 (23:00):
You need some.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
Time.

Speaker 10 (23:03):
Yeah, she's been cleared from the doctor. He's been there
a week. He already says she's evil and he can't
stand her.

Speaker 7 (23:10):
And don't let dead pants be involved. Oh god, no.

Speaker 10 (23:18):
All right, so junior, you're you're not on board with this?
All right, we're gonna move on. This is from Anonymous
in Durham. Anonymous says, I met a woman online and
she's coming to visit me soon. I haven't told her
that I live with my mom and her three cats.
She's excited about staying with me, but I can't afford
a hotel room. How should I tell her about my

(23:38):
about my living arrangement?

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (23:41):
This is not good?

Speaker 10 (23:44):
Is faster?

Speaker 8 (23:46):
Ooh?

Speaker 7 (23:46):
And them cats, they give me the creeps.

Speaker 10 (23:48):
Man, goddam three cats, three cats.

Speaker 7 (23:52):
Yeah, and you're inviting a woman over the out of
town over to this and stay there.

Speaker 10 (23:58):
He can't afford a hotel.

Speaker 7 (24:00):
He can't afford this woman. We don't need to be
doing this. You go, you're gonna have to front. You
need to borrow somebody house and stay somewhere else. But
your mama and them cats. I don't know what we got.
We cannot come up with mama. How with all these
damn cats, all of them talk to kitchen table and everything.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
We can't do that.

Speaker 7 (24:19):
And invite this woman up in here. She ain't seen
this hip before. We've been scared. This woman half to death.
Just won't be going to be wrapped up in a
blanket on the cow scared. Hell, that's not that's not
how you invite somebody out. You don't do that. That's
not a good. Let's get your life together, get here.
You don't need nobody, right, now.

Speaker 10 (24:36):
Get off line, all the way off.

Speaker 7 (24:38):
And don't nobody want you. I promise if you open
up and tell everybody what you got that you at.
Your mama sent some pictures to her, your mama house
with them cats and stuff, and asked, um, she's still coming.
What you got? Oh?

Speaker 11 (24:50):
He said? How should I tell her about my living?

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Right?

Speaker 12 (24:53):
Well, first of all, we gotta do a little bit
of life this. First of all we gotta do. First
of all, your mama lived with you. That's the first
like you need to start with. You need to start
with that one. Your mama lived. Now, look at that's
the first one. The second one is I rescue animals
and I just happen to fall in love with cats.

Speaker 11 (25:12):
That's when you a rescue cat. That's what you do.

Speaker 12 (25:15):
That's why the cats is in there, because I rescue cats.

Speaker 11 (25:18):
I can't help that passing a straight cat.

Speaker 12 (25:20):
I have to pick it up. And you have to
do something. But don't tell it. You can't afford the hotel.
But your mama do live with you. That's what you
need to tell.

Speaker 9 (25:29):
Excuse me, he lives with his mom. Yeah, but he
got to ask his mom company. Well, he's gonna have
to do that before she gets there. But when she
gets there, she lived with him. That's what he needs
to understand something.

Speaker 7 (25:44):
When she come in and see the old people on
the wall on you pictures.

Speaker 11 (25:47):
Yeah, have an infinitive for old stuff. That's all you
can tell. I like old things. I don't like.

Speaker 7 (25:58):
When that big wooden spoon and fork.

Speaker 9 (26:00):
On the wall.

Speaker 10 (26:03):
Move on, move on, Renee and tempe Renee rights. I
had a first date with a man that's as fine
as Rick Fox. I took my leftovers with me, and
as he drove me home, something was funky. I thought
it was my food, but I noticed his shoes were off.
I declined. The second date, did I handle this correctly?

Speaker 7 (26:24):
Girl? But he Rick Fox?

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Find though, Ricky, Rick Fox.

Speaker 7 (26:30):
You need to come on now, you need to wash
his feet. Come on now, Jesus washed feet, y'all, Jesus
washed feet. You can wash his feet. You trying to
throw away something good because for a little, little, little,
small little feet, I'm just saying, while well, y'all doing
help the man out, Let's get his feet together. If
that's the only blemish, let's work on getting the man

(26:51):
feet together. You can have a nice little foot conversation
with it, and let's get on. But get your tub
and get down there and wash that man feet, wash
his feet? What's from Shirley? Did Jesus not washed feet?

Speaker 10 (27:05):
Did he?

Speaker 7 (27:07):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Yes, okay?

Speaker 7 (27:09):
So why this woman can't wash this man's nasty feet?
Why can't she do that?

Speaker 10 (27:13):
Why can't he do it? They're his feet?

Speaker 7 (27:15):
I understand. He evidently is something wrong. We gotta fix
that part. He look keep in mind he rick Fox
up top? He ricked Fox up top? Come on, Fox up?
He rick Fox up top. No, I feel them main't
rixed feet. That ain't rix feet. We got to fix
that part. That's all. Put all that in the bowl

(27:38):
called deaths and Eggs, fantastic four O.

Speaker 12 (27:41):
Nine bleed b Yeah, come on, I just want to know.
I don't care if he looked like Rick Fox or whoever.
But how strong is these feet? That's what I need
to know. He and the driver's seat and they up
there on the break and gas pedal you in the
passage to see and said, I thought it was my food.

Speaker 11 (28:02):
But I looked down. Did I notice his shoes was off?

Speaker 12 (28:05):
So these mean these the folk in this car is
very strong. It's it's it slid over to the passager side.
Don't get that about washing feet. This ain't this is
not where we washed these feet. We gotta go buy
we gotta go by our car. Wife pressure wash these feet.
What you need to do, you need to upgrade the
regular soaping water will get this because it came to

(28:27):
the other side. They're strong. It's a different fat.

Speaker 7 (28:31):
Yeah, good pressure Washington, because you have.

Speaker 12 (28:34):
To sniff your food to figure out this same This
ain't my steak and the food just thirty minutes old.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Yeah, the strong what Morgan Freeman saying glory shoes I
was trying to find.

Speaker 10 (28:50):
I don't know. I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it.

Speaker 7 (28:53):
Rick Fox up top, Now it.

Speaker 10 (28:56):
Would have to be Rick Fox.

Speaker 7 (28:58):
Okay, then if that would had it with some bad feet,
let me tell you something. I'm gonna get two hughes
garbage bag and wrap them feet up and bring my
baby on the bed. I'm gonna wrap them feet up tips.

Speaker 10 (29:13):

at the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
news for you. Right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show,
Vice President Kamala Harris made a big entrance during her
first official visit to her campaign headquarters on Monday evening,
walking out to Beyonce's song Freedom. The VP's team got

(29:35):

presidential campaign. Beyonce, who is known for maintaining strict clearance
guidelines around her music, gave a quick approval to the
Harris campaign when they sought permission to use Freedom. Now, Okay,

Speaker 10 (31:31):
Yeah. All the single ladies.

Speaker 9 (31:34):
Okay, run the world girls, all right.

Speaker 10 (31:41):
Moving on to other entertainment news. Speaking of songs, Celine Dion,
who's had some struggles of late with that stiff person disease,
So she had I don't know if you guys saw
her special, but it was very informative and uh it
gave you a whole new perspective on how she's dealing
with her illness and everything. But she said, if she
has to crawl back on that stage, she will perform again.

(32:03):
Well it looks like that day has come, yeah, because
she's going to perform tomorrow Friday at the opening ceremony
of the twenty twenty four Olympics in Paris. Come on, yeah,
very nice, very nice. Yeah yeah, okay, and she supposedly
will be paid two million dollars. She's just gonna sing

(32:25):

Speaker 7 (32:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (32:45):
Yeah, it's amazing it really Yeah. More Olympic news, Snoop Dog.
I love this will be the final Olympic torch bearer
running through the streets of Paris before the opening ceremony

don't you down light up with that torch in your hand.
You hit me because I know that's a nice, nice
little handful of fire you got that, don't.

Speaker 10 (33:17):
You get I don't think they don't you now.

Speaker 7 (33:20):
Hold that thing down and fire that thing up, huh.

Speaker 10 (33:22):
I don't think he could do it anyway legally. I
don't think it's legal over there.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah, it wasn't legal.

Speaker 10 (33:30):
When he was doing it, that's true, but it is now.

Speaker 7 (33:34):
Man. I went to a I went to a Super
Bowl party in Houston, Snooper DJ and the whole place
was cloud. What did you talking about? Legal?

Speaker 1 (33:41):
The hell big fight?

Speaker 10 (33:43):
Remember when Steve did it in l A. Carried the torch, Yeah,
he did.

Speaker 7 (33:49):
I thought he was gonna drop it.

Speaker 10 (33:50):
He did give her.

Speaker 7 (33:54):
I was nervous watching him. You know, when he get
on publicly, he'll mess something up, I said, But.

Speaker 10 (34:03):
He did, and he carried it right on through.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
He did so.

Speaker 10 (34:07):
Screaking of the Olympics, make sure you cheer on Team USA.
All you have to do is listen to the free
iHeartRadio apps audio coverage of the summer Games. You can
listen in your car, at work, at home, or anywhere
your phone is. Okay, we'll all be hosting. Okay, all right,
And finally, as we switch gears, this is what's happening.

(34:27):
This is what's trending. Sacred Service director Kimberly Cheatle. She
resigned after the near assassination attempt to former President Donald Trump.
It shook the confidence in her ability to lead the agency.
All right, somebody had to be the fall guy, and
it was her in this. In this instance, Trump was
nicked in the ear after a shooter fired an AR

(34:51):
style assault rifle. The shooter has climbed up, and he
climbed up on a nearby rooftop and fired off as
many as eight shots eight shots, killing Sadly, a Pennsylvania firefighter,
and injuring two other men before being neutralized by a
Secret Service counter sniper. This is what President Trump said, Tom.

Speaker 7 (35:16):
I don't know how, I don't know how.

Speaker 10 (35:18):
Yeah, it was open, it was too open.

Speaker 9 (35:20):
Yeah, it was a fail operation. And that's why she resigned,
you know, under her watch. So they admit to the
mistakes that were made.

Speaker 7 (35:29):
Yeah. Yeah, come, black folk get fired and white folk
get to resign. I'm just asking. That's just asking for
a friend.

Speaker 10 (35:34):
That's for a friend. Well, this is what former President
Trump said about it. He said that the Biden administration,
the Biden Harris administration, failed to protect him, and he
took a bullet for democracy.

Speaker 11 (35:49):
What okay?

Speaker 13 (35:52):
What he says?

Speaker 10 (35:54):
An Oh, that's a stretch. Yeah, all right, guys, coming
up a twenty minutes after the our President Biden addressed
the nation last night. We'll talk about it right after this.

Speaker 13 (36:06):
You're listening Harvey Morning Show.

Speaker 10 (36:09):
President Biden addressed the nation last night from the Oval Office.
The President talked about what lies ahead and how it's
time to pass the torch on now to a younger generation,
and he will finish his term and job as president
for the American people. The President talked about his accomplishments,
and he said that nothing can come in the way

(36:30):
of saving our democracy, including personal ambition. President Biden went
on to say that Vice President Harris is quote experienced,
she's tough, she's capable, and he called her an incredible
partner during their three and a half years together. At
the end of his speech, the President expressed his heartfelt
gratitude to be able to serve the nation and to

(36:51):
ascend to the position he long thought take a listen.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
Nowhere else on earth.

Speaker 16 (36:56):
Credit kid to the stutter from modest beginning to scrap Pennsylvania,
claimont Delaware, one day sit behind the resolute desk in
the Oval Office as President the United States. Here I am.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
That's what's so special out of America.

Speaker 16 (37:12):
We're a nation of promise and possibilities, of dreamers and doers,
of ordinary Americans doing extraordinary things. I give my heart
and my soul to our nation, like so many others,
I've been blessed million times in return the love and
support of American people I hope you have some idea.

Speaker 11 (37:33):
How grateful I am to.

Speaker 7 (37:35):
All of you.

Speaker 10 (37:36):
Wow, I really felt.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Yeah, I want I want to cry the way.

Speaker 10 (37:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (37:45):
And they showed on social media on the side his
family sitting there, and they said that the staff people
that work in the White House they were all clapping,
you know.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Guards.

Speaker 9 (37:56):
Yeah, very emotional, very emotional speech. Again, like we said earlier,
it takes a special man with a special character to
do what he did, Like you said, Shirley giving up,
not giving up democracy for personal ambition. So he put
the American people before his his job.

Speaker 10 (38:16):
He said, this is it's about the people. It's not
about me. Yeah, I want this job. I want to continue,
but the people have spoken and it's time to hand
it over, you know. And he talked about how Kamala
Kamala was, you know, very capable and very tough and
she can do the job. That's a great endorsement. And
I think we know that. I think we feel that too.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yeah, how you guys feel, Tommy Junior.

Speaker 7 (38:43):
It's just interesting to look and see how night and
day is when you see President Biden give his speech
and then you look at you turn the channel and
you see Trump speaking and it's just like it's just evil.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Just straight up so much.

Speaker 7 (38:59):
It is so clear though.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
It's like the President.

Speaker 10 (39:03):
Said, choose love between love and hate. It's a choice.

Speaker 12 (39:08):
All I say is I saw Joe Biden, and I
Lejabi say, I'm looking at him.

Speaker 11 (39:12):
I'm looking at a man.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
I'm just looking at a man.

Speaker 11 (39:14):
That's a grown man right here.

Speaker 10 (39:16):
Real man. All right, guys coming up at thirty four
minutes after the hours, Say her name. Sonia Massy, a
black woman in Illinois, called for help and was murdered
by a white deputy police officer. We'll talk about that. Wow,
right after this, you're listening.

Speaker 13 (39:33):
Morning show.

Speaker 10 (39:35):
Here we go again, meliss is. So, this is just
a horrible, horrible story. I'm gonna start with this. Say
her name. Her name is Sonia Massey. Sonia Massey was
a black woman. She was murdered by a white male
deputy police officer on the fourth of July weekend. She
called nine to one one for help. She lives in Springfield, Illinois.

(39:57):
Sonia Massey called the police after she thought there was
an intruder outside her house. The bodycam video was released
by an Illinois state police showing a Sheriff's deputy shot
Sonia Sonia Massey in the face. She was shot in
the head in the face during a tense moment over
a pot of boiling water in her home. That's what
this was all about. In the video, Massey asked the

(40:20):
deputy where you going away from your hot, steaming water.
The deputy responds, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus,
Massey says. Massey does not approach the deputies with the pot.
She stays in her kitchen. The deputy you better ef
and not. I swear to God I'll ef and shoot
you in your ef and face. This is what Deputy
Grayson says before pulling out his gun. Okay, I'm sorry,

(40:44):
Massy says as she ducks down. Later, Deputy Grayson can
be heard on the camera saying she said she was
going to rebuke me in the name of Jesus and
came at me with boiling water. Sonia's father, mister James Wilburn,
spoke about the bodycam footage on CBS this Morning.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Take a listen.

Speaker 17 (41:02):
So I think the cover up started from just right
after it happened. Thank God for the body camera footage
is probably the most horrible and heart wrenching thing that
we've ever seen in our lives. But if we're not
for the bodycam footage, we would not have known that
this occurred.

Speaker 10 (41:25):
This is really sad, man.

Speaker 7 (41:28):
I don't, I don't, I mean we we we hear
it every other month. Here goes again, Here it goes again.
It never stops. Then you start, then here's the whole
journey on what happens to this office, that what's going
to take place with them next. But at the end
of the day, it just it just seems to never stop.
And it's always our people. It's always us that's getting it.

(41:48):
It's always us. You don't and I don't wish it
on and I don't wish it on anybody.

Speaker 9 (41:55):
It's always, of course not. You kill this woman over
a pot of water that she.

Speaker 10 (42:00):
Was unarmed, she didn't have a gun. Ye, she didn't
throw the water at there's no threat, there's no and
didn't he tell her to take the pot of bo
boiling water off the stove And that's what she was doing.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
That's exactly right.

Speaker 9 (42:14):
Shot in the head, yes, and her father, the family
has said that she did have some mental health issues,
but she did seek out treatment, and she had treatment
for that. At the end of the day, you killed
this woman over a pot of water. That's what you
did in her home. That is horrific.

Speaker 7 (42:35):
R Tell me again, what was the purpose of the call?

Speaker 10 (42:38):
Was an outside outside the police?

Speaker 15 (42:43):
She could.

Speaker 10 (42:45):
If you thought an intruder was outside, that's what you
would normally, that's what you call the police.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Yeah, yeah, really, really really sad.

Speaker 10 (42:52):
This is really yeah, her rights were violated, yep, speaking
of civil rights. Civil rights attorney Ben tr is representing
the family. Thank god. Deputy Grayson, meanwhile, has pleaded not
guilty to charges of first degree murder, aggravated battery with
the firearm, and official misconduct. He is being held in

(43:14):
the county jail where he lives, where he awaits trial.
So there you go saying, county jail. Yeah, and she
was the mother of two. By the way, she was
a mother of two.

Speaker 9 (43:25):
This is also something that I read that one of
the family members, one of the friends said, at first,
the police didn't even tell them that they were the
cause of her death. So now you want to know,
is there a cover up?

Speaker 1 (43:40):
What is going on? What happened that night?

Speaker 9 (43:44):
And thank god for this bodycam footage from the other officer,
from the other officer that was on site. They didn't
even want to help her, give her medical aid any
of these things.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
So all this is coming out now.

Speaker 9 (43:56):
So thank god the family has attorney Benjamin Crump a case.

Speaker 10 (44:00):
Right, I am a justice. I heard he said that
she came at him with the pot of boiling water.
That is not true.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
That you don't see that video the video that she didn't.

Speaker 10 (44:11):
Do that exactly exactly, all right, thanks guys. Coming up next,
we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
after this.

Speaker 13 (44:18):
You're listening Harby Morning Show.

Speaker 10 (44:22):
Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
four minutes after it is my strawberry letter for today,
and the subject is We're not going to make it
till November. We are not the election.

Speaker 7 (44:35):
I've been told every month we ain't gonna make it.
Do something.

Speaker 10 (44:45):
We'll find out what that's all about in just a
few because right now the nephew is here with today's
prank phone call.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
What you what all ready?

Speaker 7 (44:56):
Yes, this is garnish your wages. Garnish your wages, mum.
Hum I used to think garnish was food that you
put on for garnish. Yeah, I was wonder if they
putting it on money. When they say garnish your way,
I don't know your money, so yeah, I didn't know
how they were doing that. And they say, gone, and.

Speaker 15 (45:20):
What you're.

Speaker 7 (45:24):
Tell you? But I but I asked reasonable questions. I mean,
it's garner and it's your way. Okay, let me ask
you this him Popeye? Okay, Now, Papa I used to
date who boy? Why why won't they cook that chicken
in il of boy?

Speaker 2 (45:40):
I don't understand that, Junior. I just don't get it.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
Try to make your health.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (45:44):
You might well gonna go with his girl? You feel men?

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Go with this girl?

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Stupid?

Speaker 7 (45:53):
This is garneish your wages. Here we go, let's go
catch hell. I'm trying to reach your y'all. My name
is from the District Attorney's office. Yes, how are you
giving you a call today? Man? I'm trying to get
some updates from you. Your husband, mister con is he
still not working at this point?

Speaker 15 (46:13):
No, sir?

Speaker 7 (46:14):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (46:15):
How long has he been out of work so far?

Speaker 7 (46:17):
Ma'am? Could you could you give me an update on.

Speaker 15 (46:19):
This past year? January?

Speaker 7 (46:21):
Okay? All, right, here's what we're having. The problems that
we're having. You have a son, I think it's his
name is as well, fourteen years old, am I right? Okay?
The child support is not being paid from mister for
the for mister young and we're trying to get this
thing rectified. Now. The problem that we're going to have,

(46:43):
and the reason why we're giving you a call is
considering that your husband hasn't worked since the first of
the year, and I haven't done the research yet. I'm
just I'm just not pulling up your file. I haven't
done the research and see how many months in the
rears he is on child support?

Speaker 15 (46:58):
Is this started once he lost his job?

Speaker 7 (47:01):
Okay? Well, the problem that we're going to have is
they're gonna start taking uh child support actually, and I
hate to give you this news out of your check.

Speaker 15 (47:12):
I don't understand how that because I have my own kids,
I don't understand that.

Speaker 7 (47:16):
I understand, but they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am.
Uh until this until your husband can get this thing
back on his feet and get it recified and get
him up to par as for of all the payments
that are.

Speaker 15 (47:26):
Hurt and when will is he taking place? Because if
that's the case, I'm not gonna be working because that's
not gonna happen. I have my own children, so I
don't understand how that's for. So I don't have anything
to do with child for it or anything like that.
And if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
as right now.

Speaker 7 (47:42):
The garnishing of the check is gonna come from you.
And you are at the hospital. Correct, No, that's not
your it's not where you work.

Speaker 15 (47:48):
I don't. I'm not gonna be working as of right now.
That's what I just tell you. So y'all do whatever
you have to do, and I'll do whatever I have
to do on my end.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Okay, well hold on it.

Speaker 7 (47:56):
You're willing to quit your job. I'm not understanding this, and.

Speaker 15 (47:59):
You're sure because I'm not gonna be taking care of
someone else's kids and not have my own. So how
that's right? So somebody else can take your minds then,
because I'm not gonna be doing it, You're so right?

Speaker 2 (48:09):
All right?

Speaker 7 (48:10):
Well, I mean, I'm just you know, don't I don't
want you to be upset with you. I don't want
you to be upset with me.

Speaker 15 (48:14):
I can be able to contact you.

Speaker 7 (48:17):
Okay, Now I'm gonna let I'm gonna let you know
this is a bit of information. You're still gonna if
you're quitting your job. Man, you guys are still going
to be liable for the child support.

Speaker 15 (48:27):
Okay, well that's side not you guys, because it's not
my children, sir. Okay, it's not you guys. He will
be liable. Okay, Okay, because I don't I mean, can
I step you hold one moment because I need to
step outside. If that's okay, or if there's a number
I can contact you back.

Speaker 7 (48:43):
Okay, are you able to step outside right now?

Speaker 15 (48:46):
Yes, but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's
gonna kind of a calling.

Speaker 7 (48:50):
Let's do this. Why don't you step outside? I wait
for you to call, give me about forty five seconds,
but I'm gonna give a call to my manager on
this situation.

bottom of everything. I couldn't get my manager on the phone.

that's I'm just a message messenger.

Speaker 15 (49:22):

so short with you, but I don't understand because we're
not even getting enough income coming in as of right now.

Speaker 7 (54:13):
Okay, I'm good, you're ready, I'm happy. Let's go buggle up.
Hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
is Strawberry Letter.

Speaker 10 (54:21):
All right, thank you, nev. Subject We're not gonna make
it till November. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty seven
year old married married man. My wife's twenty nine year
old niece got divorced recently and moved back to town.
Her daughter is in a really good preschool that happens
to be by our house. So my wife asked if
she and her daughter can stay at our house until November,

(54:43):
when her alimony payments start and she can move into
her own house. She works part time for now and
I work second shift, so I don't head out to
work until two pm daily. My wife goes to work
around seven am and she drops the kid off at school.
The niece cooks me breakfast every morning. She told me
it's the least she can do for staying with us

(55:04):
for free. She can really cook too. I never had
homemade French toast or an egg white omelet. She cooks
in her pajamas, and I'm very comfortable with it, but
I wonder if she would put on a robe if
my wife was home. I get a lot of mixed
signals from this woman. She opened up about why her
marriage didn't work, and she looks sad a lot. I

(55:26):
want to reach out and hug her, but I can't
get close to her without being nervous. I'm not that strong.
I feel like she's flirting with me in a way.
The other day, she had a job interview and she
looks so good. After she got dressed, she asked me
to zip up her dress, and my hands were shaking.
I could feel her heart racing too. I don't think

(55:48):
we're going to make it until November. She has not
told my wife that she's been cooking for me, or
that she confides in me. She asked me to keep
that between us. What's up with this woman? Is she
waiting for me to make a move or am I dreaming?
What should I do?

Speaker 8 (56:05):
Well?

Speaker 10 (56:05):
One thing is true for sure. If you guys keep
this up, you will not make it until the weekend.
Forget November, you won't make it till the weekend. There's
way too much sexual tension going on in this house. Yes,
I think she's flirting and you know, trying to you know. Yeah,
I think she's flirting with you. And as nice as

(56:25):
your wife has been to her, I don't think that
she should turn around and do her sister like that.
Your wife has opened up her home, not her husband. Okay,
the husband is off limits. You should be nervous because
your wife's sister will have you caught up. She'll have
you divorced if you decide to take her on. You
haven't thought this through. I know you're a man. You

(56:47):
gotta use your brain, not your body parts in this situation.
And you know what I mean, Do not gamble with
her sister. Don't do this. It's not worth it. You've
got too much to lose. Don't be stupid, Okay, I
don't be stupid and lose everything. I know it's hard
to say no, you know, with her walking around in
her pj's and asking you to zip her dress up

(57:08):
and all that, and confiding in you, and look at
I know that she's cooking for you. You said she
can really really cook. You got to stop all this,
Stop being around her, stop eating her meals, stop zipping
up her dresses. You can't do that. You're a grown man.
You do have self control. You can say no if
it goes any further. But if you have to, just
leave the house, because you definitely aren't gonna make it

(57:31):
until November. Like I said, you won't make it till
the weekend.

Speaker 7 (57:34):
Tommy, oh man, I feel so sorry for this brother.
I have a sympathy for him. I do because this
right here is a prime example of ass and eggs.
That's what this is. This is all about ass and eggs.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
That's what this is. You understand, that's what this is?
What you know?

Speaker 7 (58:01):
What this is?

Speaker 2 (58:02):
Ass and eggs. That's what it is.

Speaker 7 (58:04):
Now, y'all. Y'all, yeah, I know y'all might not be
with me on it, but I'm saying, mixed signals.

Speaker 15 (58:10):
What is that?

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Ass and eggs?

Speaker 7 (58:12):
That's what that? No road? No road? What?

Speaker 2 (58:16):
What? What?

Speaker 8 (58:16):
What?

Speaker 2 (58:16):
What is that you already know that is? That's ass
and eggs.

Speaker 7 (58:19):
That's what this is. Come on, but but but every
man needs that to start his day. You understand what
I'm saying. That's how men love to start their day
before I get on the radio. That's the first thing
I'm asking.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
Okay, all right, okay, I'm.

Speaker 2 (58:36):
Sorry, caller.

Speaker 7 (58:38):
If I go to the doctor's I don't want to
go to a doctor that is stressed. I want to
go to a doctor who has had what he's doing just.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
Fat too much?

Speaker 10 (58:51):
What what?

Speaker 7 (58:53):
When I go to the nail shop, I want my
nail tech tools stop saying you up in the helm
my hands and feeting in your hand, and you don't
feel relaxed and stress when I get when I get
to church on Sunday, I want to.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
Don't don't say eat don't say nothing. Move on.

Speaker 7 (59:14):
Okay, but y'all, y'all think passing like we get it,
we get what you Okay, we're gonna say A and E.
Not the network, but A and E. Okay, A and E,
A and E, A and E? How about that? A
and E? All right, so let me go ahead and
tell you there's no way, ain't no way, no Vember happening.
This thing that happened, I promise you this week is

(59:37):
going down because every time I have helped, every time
I have zipped somebody up, I have zipped them.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
I have zipped them right back down. I'm just trying
to take.

Speaker 10 (59:47):
One more time.

Speaker 7 (59:48):
Every time I have zipped someone up, I have zipped
them right back down.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (59:57):
I can't zip you up and not zip you down
at the same time. I'm sorry. This is just A
and E at its best. Every man driving right now,
the truck drivers, all of them love a little A
and E in the morning before going to work, A
and E.

Speaker 11 (01:00:14):
It just helps us get through our day, am I right?

Speaker 7 (01:00:18):
Man? All right, all you men out there, blow your horns.
If A and E is what you're really talking about,
A and E, come on, blow your horn. For some
A and E.

Speaker 10 (01:00:26):
We have part two of the Strawberry Letter response coming
up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
is We're not gonna make it till November. We'll get
back into it right after this.

Speaker 7 (01:00:37):
Everything I've zip up, I've zip right back.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Then.

Speaker 13 (01:00:42):
You're listening hard Morning show.

Speaker 10 (01:00:45):
All right, it's time now to recap today's Strawberry letter.
The subject is we're not going to make it till November.
Now what you thought at first? Huh? This was written
by a man, a forty seven year old married man
who says that his wife's twenty nine year old niece
got divorced recently, so she moved back to town. His

(01:01:05):
wife as the niece to move in with them until
she gets her alimony in November. So the niece moved in.
She has a little girl. The little girl goes to
school near them, So the wife gets up and leaves
early in the morning, takes the baby to school and
all of that to preschool. Meanwhile, the husband works a

(01:01:25):
second shift, so he's at home. The niece, a twenty
nine year old niece, has a part time job, so
she's at home. So what's going on at home? While
the wife is at work. Well, the husband gets breakfast
every morning from the twenty nine year old niece, and
he says she can really cook. She makes him fremhly

(01:01:46):
toast egg white omelets, Tommy and all of that. She
cooks in her pjs. She doesn't have a robe on. Yeah,
so yeah, thinks that she's giving him mixed signals the
niece because he thinks she's flirting with him in a way.
She asked him to unzip her dress. I mean to

(01:02:08):
zip her dress back up because she had a job interview.
He says she was looking so good that day he
could barely zip it up because his hands were shaking
so much. Because it's a lot of sexual tension going
on in this house.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (01:02:21):
She she confides in the husband, but she has told
him not to tell the wife what she and the
husband talk about, all right, to keep that between them.
So he wants to know what is up with this woman?
Is she waiting for him to make the first move
or is he dreaming? And what should he do? All right,
I said, do not get involved with this young woman

(01:02:42):
at all. He could don't gamble with her. He could
lose everything. Tommy said, A and E is what everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
Let's say.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
You bring it up.

Speaker 10 (01:02:56):
Just a quick preview, all right, and Junior now it's
on you. Uh, we're not going to make it till November.

Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
Listen.

Speaker 12 (01:03:06):
All I know is you're gonna have to stop eating
breakfast in the morning. You gonna have to stop eating
his breakfast in the morning. You forty seven, she twenty nine.
You ain't got no business in there.

Speaker 7 (01:03:18):
You know.

Speaker 12 (01:03:19):
Judge Lenn Toler has a show called Divorce Court. I
don't know if y'all seen it. Yes, yeah, I'll watch
it a lot, and you're finna be on it. Behind
some French toat and some omelets. Go in there and
tell Judge Toler on this tailer how good the French
toast eggs was, and the French toes and them egg
white omelets that Joe brother has. Say, you ain't never had.

(01:03:42):
I ain't never had French toast and an egg white omelet?

Speaker 11 (01:03:45):
You forty seven? Where have you been?

Speaker 12 (01:03:47):
They've been making fresh toast from scratch. How do you
think you get the French toast big pancakes at home
from scratch? You gotta have batter mix. It's just better.
It's the same thing. It's the same exacting. But you know,
but here's some things you feel to lose.

Speaker 11 (01:04:03):
Like your house.

Speaker 12 (01:04:04):
You gonna tell Judge Lin told about your house because
you feel to lose that.

Speaker 11 (01:04:07):
Uh, your car, you're finna lose that too.

Speaker 7 (01:04:09):
Uh.

Speaker 12 (01:04:10):
The alimony that she waiting to get you finna start paying,
because you're gonna have to pay that as well. Uh
your kids every other weekend. Start thinking about that. Start
thinking about that. Uh the pajamas you was looking at,
that's gonna cost you everything.

Speaker 11 (01:04:23):
Don't even worry about zipping her dress up.

Speaker 12 (01:04:25):
Tell her to go in that closet, get a wild hanger,
undo it and try to break in your car. Like
you're breaking your car with a wild hanger. Try to
zip it up over your back like that. That's how
you zip your dress up. Don't put your hands on this.
That because I seen we sha do it. That's how
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
Yeah, that's how I know.

Speaker 11 (01:04:44):
That's how you zip your dress up.

Speaker 12 (01:04:46):
Yeah, undo a hanger, look in the mirror and put
that like you, just like we try to break in
our car, we put that hanger.

Speaker 11 (01:04:53):
Try to unlock that lot. Do the same thing with you.
Zip on your desk.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
You said, it's just like that, just like you gotta.

Speaker 11 (01:05:00):
In the hang of the same way. It's the same angel.

Speaker 7 (01:05:02):
We've all broke in a car call.

Speaker 12 (01:05:06):
You never got your kids in the car, and you
are you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Are broken into our own car.

Speaker 11 (01:05:14):
Come on, yeah, it's ours now.

Speaker 12 (01:05:16):
I know some people who doesn't have to get somebody
else's call, but I knocked them people.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Steed and broke into people. Stuffup.

Speaker 7 (01:05:21):
That's she's doing.

Speaker 12 (01:05:23):
That's nothing today, okay, because you know and what you
need to do is get off this second shift and
get on first shift.

Speaker 7 (01:05:31):
You do.

Speaker 12 (01:05:32):
What you need to do is take the baby to
school your damn self, because you're gonna lose everything. I'll
take the baby, take the baby to school, and then
you go to work. You everybody lead a house at seven,
is what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Everybody.

Speaker 12 (01:05:44):
You don't she need to been there by herself because
you keep getting up everyone. But if she flirting with you,
I don't know if she flirts, I don't know.

Speaker 11 (01:05:51):
What she's doing. But you need to be on first shift.
You need to go on in and change, put your
request in what.

Speaker 7 (01:05:56):
Jor you take the baby. I'll zip her up though.
You go ahead. I got I got the zipped I got.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
You zip up.

Speaker 11 (01:06:04):
I like the house I live in. I don't want
to lose it.

Speaker 7 (01:06:06):
Like man, we're not leaving a perfect good zipp or
unzipped up, zipped up.

Speaker 12 (01:06:12):
Like hey, go in that mirror, look around your back,
look over your shoulder, and care that hanger and zip
it up.

Speaker 11 (01:06:20):
Pull it.

Speaker 10 (01:06:21):
What would you guys do in that situation?

Speaker 6 (01:06:23):
I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:06:25):
At my house?

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
No, no, no, I'm not I'm not doing that.

Speaker 10 (01:06:29):
You're not going to be around this.

Speaker 7 (01:06:30):
I'm not gonna be nowhere near this little girl.

Speaker 11 (01:06:35):
I'm gonna cut the gas off in the house. We're
not making breakfast.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
That's what.

Speaker 12 (01:06:40):
This stove will not be hot by the time she
getting ready to make breakfast. We ain't got no gas
in here.

Speaker 11 (01:06:47):
Somebody's restaurant eat breakfast.

Speaker 10 (01:06:49):
I'm not doing too much right. He can lose everything
that's right, all right? Thanks guys. Post your comments on

Speaker 13 (01:07:12):
You're listening Morning show and it's.

Speaker 10 (01:07:15):
Time now for Junior and sports Talk.

Speaker 11 (01:07:17):
Junior, What the have y'all seen this man?

Speaker 12 (01:07:22):
Terrell Davis? Y'all see what happened to Drell Davis? Do
you own to Denver Bronco Hall of Fame or running back?
This don't make no sense, Yes, this don't make no sense.
This man was kicked off a flight, handcuffed off a flight, actually,
but during the fight, he asked for some ice from
a flight attendant tapp him on the shoulder. The flight
attendant swings around says, get your hands off me and

(01:07:43):
don't hit me. And then the other person said, hey,
he didn't hit you. Another pass said he didn't hit you.
All he did was ask for ice. When the plane
landed in Orange County, he was handcuffed by the FBI
and escorted off the plane in front.

Speaker 2 (01:07:56):
Of his wife.

Speaker 11 (01:07:57):
Yeah, and his three children, his boys, yes, boys.

Speaker 12 (01:08:02):
And I believe yeah, And this don't make no sense
because how in the world we cannot even ask fight
attendants for ice now on planes.

Speaker 9 (01:08:11):
It wasn't that he touched her that upset. You can't
touch them here, okay, you can You can't touch him.
So that's she did the flight attend to overreact?

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Yes, okay, exactly.

Speaker 11 (01:08:24):
I'm trying to understand.

Speaker 12 (01:08:25):
How is he is he getting escorted off in handcuffs?

Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
Yeah, that's terrible for that.

Speaker 12 (01:08:30):
Now he wasn't ticketed or cited for the incident, but
he is going to sue United Airlines.

Speaker 11 (01:08:36):
He's soon.

Speaker 7 (01:08:36):
He should he should.

Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
Yeah, yeh today I know they apologize.

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
That's not good enough for me.

Speaker 12 (01:08:43):
That's not good enough because what about the embarrassment of
getting arrested in front of your wife and handcuffed in front.

Speaker 11 (01:08:49):
Of your wife and your children? Though, like, how does
that make you feel?

Speaker 7 (01:08:54):
As much as I fly, there's some attitudes on them planes.
Man put up with a yes, But I don't think
in this situation, I don't think. I don't think this
one was right. I don't think what happened to Terrell
was right. I mean he was trying to get somebody. Yeah,
I mean, whenever you not tap someone on the shoulder.

Speaker 10 (01:09:16):
For the attention, why you know the difference between someone
tapping you in a hit?

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Yeah, hit it?

Speaker 11 (01:09:26):
You would know it? Yeah, you know to.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
Them, that's for sure.

Speaker 11 (01:09:29):
But is that what it is called?

Speaker 8 (01:09:30):
It?

Speaker 12 (01:09:30):
You cannot touch flight attendant at all, and you shouldn't
be touching them.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
You should not.

Speaker 9 (01:09:35):
You have to get their attention, but you shouldn't be
tapping on them. And I guess we were to this
point because of all the crazies that had been on
the plane acting crazy. So I get them being on
edge and all that, but in this particular instance, you know,
even the airline apologized, they recognized that the flight attendant overreacted,

(01:09:56):
and it was he was humiliating in front of his
family and embarrassed.

Speaker 7 (01:09:59):
You have to little and I think a good ten
million dollars would make me feel good.

Speaker 12 (01:10:03):
That was That was straight out we placed on leave
at this point from United Airlines that fight attendant is
on leave.

Speaker 11 (01:10:15):
So I just thought it was just why.

Speaker 7 (01:10:17):
The only leave, Why we ain't on Why we ain't
only left, Why we ain't on gone?

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Why why is that?

Speaker 10 (01:10:22):
Okay, coming up, a man on social media needs some advice.
He about talking to his wife about his past. Okay,
we'll talk about that right after this. You're listening Morning show.
This is from B on Steve Harvey. F m B says,
my wife's friend visited us over the fourth and one

(01:10:45):
night when my wife was asleep. Her friend and I
talked into the night about my wife before I met her.
I was kind of shocked at her friend's description of
my wife in her twenties, and on some level, I
wish she would act more like that now. For one,
her friend told me that my wife was very sexually
adventurous back then. I'd like to discuss this with my wife,

(01:11:05):
but I don't want to cause a rift between her
and her friend, since her friend may have been talking
about stuff my wife wouldn't have wanted her to. So
how can I bring this subject up to my wife
without damaging her relationship with her friend.

Speaker 7 (01:11:19):
You can't bring this up. Oh, as far as I'm concerned,
this conversation never happened. You can't bring this up, Pardner.
All right, now, you found out some information about your baby. Cool,
that's good. It was a good information. You learned that
she was very sexual and you like that part.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
Good.

Speaker 7 (01:11:36):
Now you got to figure out your own way of
pulling that out. But you can't. You can't not have
this conversation and talk about you had a conversation with
her girlfriend.

Speaker 10 (01:11:43):
No, my friend, Yeah, your mouth. She was out there,
she was.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Back in the day.

Speaker 10 (01:11:54):
No saying.

Speaker 7 (01:11:57):
So you say Jackie was working on the rooftop.

Speaker 9 (01:12:00):
Yeah, that's one time we were in Vegas.

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
Hey what what?

Speaker 10 (01:12:09):
No, No, that's not a good thing at all.

Speaker 7 (01:12:12):
Do that, brother, You found out some information. It wasn't
bad or not not like another man or something like that.
So you cool and just just just just right it.
It is what it is. Some men just don't know
when to stop. Just Hey, you found out something. It's
pretty good information. You could use it later, but you
never talk about that. You had this conversation with this woman. Stop.
I'm sure y'all was out there on that patio drinking

(01:12:34):
and you got all that information coming up. Boy, that's
what happened. She had that lick with.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Don't be mad at her. She was drinking.

Speaker 9 (01:12:40):
Oh no, I'm mad at her running her. Yeah, but
telling where the bodies are buried and and all that.

Speaker 7 (01:12:49):
Well, you shouldn't have left. You shouldn't have left them
out there, but about their beer, and come on out
there and see what they're talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
I thought they would sleep.

Speaker 10 (01:12:55):
What happens in our twenties stage, in our twenties, thirties, thirtiesies.

Speaker 7 (01:13:04):
Mess around and wake up, mess around and wake up
and what's gonna be happening?

Speaker 9 (01:13:08):
Why here you what you got?

Speaker 12 (01:13:14):
I said, I mean, no, man, you can't bring it
up to your wife, and you need to stop talking
to a friend. But on top of that, ain't nobody
who they was in their twenties? Now you know, I'm
not my wife ain't the same person she was in
her twenties. I mean she probably was sexually adventurous and
all that type stuff in her twenties or whatever, you
know with me and everything. But it ain't happening now

(01:13:34):
because now you know, we got grand baby, so it's
kind of hard to be sexual. We're watching frozen all
the time. You can't have nothing happen and frozen at all.
You can't touch her shoulder and the grand baby right there.

Speaker 11 (01:13:44):
I can't do nothing.

Speaker 5 (01:13:45):
Now.

Speaker 12 (01:13:46):
You ain't finna get that woman no more. That woman gone,
that's not the one you fin get. Let it go,
Let it go.

Speaker 11 (01:13:53):
That's what I'm taking that.

Speaker 7 (01:13:55):
Don't nobody look like they looked in.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Ain't working?

Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
He shocked all of that.

Speaker 11 (01:14:02):
That's what I'm doing. That's what I got to try
to work with.

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
All right?

Speaker 10 (01:14:05):
We have done for another one from Darryl Daryl and
Steve Harvey FM says, after two decades of marriage, I'm
back into the dating scene and I'm legitimately terrified. Things
have changed so much and I feel like one wrong
move can ruin everything. One of my big things is
wondering about how to pay for the first date. I
just assume and that if I'm the one that asked

(01:14:25):
her out, then I'm the one that's paying. However, I
also understand that times and attitudes have changed. How do
I address this without making it a thing? You know,
I like him.

Speaker 7 (01:14:36):
You just got to step out there and try it.
I don't know how this this, this this dating game
is different. It's really really different. You gotta just step
out there and give it a shot. And don't don't
do no texting because old people that we don't know
how to text, right, So don't do that. You're gonna
mess something up. Commune, I communicate the skills, this shot whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
It ain't changed that much. Pay the bills. But I like.

Speaker 11 (01:14:57):
The first check. I mean, I ain't seen that. What
do it on a first day?

Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
No pain?

Speaker 7 (01:15:04):
Check? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:15:05):
Date every day something?

Speaker 16 (01:15:07):
All?

Speaker 10 (01:15:07):
Everything hasn't changed.

Speaker 11 (01:15:09):
Right, Who was you dating? Just paint a check?

Speaker 10 (01:15:15):
All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right
after this, you're.

Speaker 13 (01:15:22):
Listening Harvey Morning Show.

Speaker 10 (01:15:26):
This is kind of crazy. Guess who donated to the
Kamala Harris's attorney general campaign? This was back in twenty eleven.
In twenty fourteen, Just take a wild guess donated to
her campaign?

Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
I'm a president Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (01:15:44):
Oh, we got receipts.

Speaker 10 (01:15:46):
You donated not once, but twice to re elect Kamala
Harris as the attorney general of California. The state record
show that Trump contributed five thousand dollars in September of
twenty eleven towards Harris's twenty fourteen reelection campaign, and then
followed that up with another thousand dollars in February twenty thirteen.

(01:16:07):
His daughter Ivanka also donated to the campaign, contributing two
thousand and twenty fourteen. However, Kamala Harris did not keep
the six thousand dollars from Trump. A spokesperson told the
Sacramento b in twenty twenty that she donated the money
to a nonprofit that advocates for civil and human rights
for Central Americans. In twenty fifteen.

Speaker 7 (01:16:28):
So there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:16:29):
See even he knew back in the day the woman.

Speaker 11 (01:16:34):
Did she just come up in the debate? You should
bring this up.

Speaker 7 (01:16:38):
Thank you, by the way for that donation you gave me.

Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
Us.

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Yeah, we got receipts.

Speaker 10 (01:16:47):
Uh huh, for sure, we got checks though.

Speaker 1 (01:16:50):
That's what we're doing.

Speaker 10 (01:16:53):
You've been backing me, yes, another asking what has she done?

Speaker 13 (01:16:58):
Come on.

Speaker 10 (01:17:00):
Coming up with thirty three minutes after the hour, guys,
we'll play another round of would you rather? Right after this?

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
Can we expect your vote too?

Speaker 13 (01:17:09):
You're listening hard Morning show.

Speaker 10 (01:17:12):
It's time now for a round of would you rather?
Would you rather, guys, be unable to use Google again?
Or would you rather be unable to use social media?
It's kind of the same, but not.

Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
Kind of.

Speaker 7 (01:17:27):
I need that Google, Yeah, I need that Google.

Speaker 10 (01:17:31):
I gotta be Yeah, you gotta find out what's going on. Yeah,
But a lot of people use social media to do
the same thing. They don't fact check.

Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
That's scary.

Speaker 7 (01:17:42):
Look, you ain't never heard of, right, Jamaican fish fry.

Speaker 10 (01:17:48):
I'm guilty of that. Use this and you look like
this all right? Would you rather only eat pizza for
the rest of your life or would you only rather
eat barbecue for the rest of your life? So pizza
or barbecue? Which ones?

Speaker 7 (01:18:05):
Either way? We locked up?

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
God locked.

Speaker 7 (01:18:13):
That barbecue gonna get old?

Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Is it every day? Is it?

Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Yeah? D's chicken brisket?

Speaker 9 (01:18:23):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
Come on, shairt s.

Speaker 7 (01:18:30):
I'm going with the pizza.

Speaker 13 (01:18:31):
Yes, there's too.

Speaker 7 (01:18:32):
Much bread though, that's too much glue.

Speaker 10 (01:18:34):
Okay, gluten free pizza.

Speaker 7 (01:18:37):
I'm back at the barbecue. Come on, I'm back at
the bar jr.

Speaker 11 (01:18:40):
I never left barbecue. Question me.

Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
I never left.

Speaker 11 (01:18:44):
I knewhere I was going. I was waiting on time.
This ain't hard for me. I grew. I started my
life at a with a rib at too. Why would
I get that up?

Speaker 15 (01:18:51):
Now?

Speaker 11 (01:18:52):
Been on it all my life?

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
Like committment?

Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
What stup?

Speaker 16 (01:18:55):
Now?

Speaker 11 (01:18:56):
Come out of South Park? We didn't know what pizza was,
all right?

Speaker 10 (01:19:04):
Would you rather have a rock in your shoe or
only wear wet socks? Rocking your shoes or only wear
wet socks that rock, That rock gonna slow you down?

Speaker 7 (01:19:16):
Give me that, Give me that wet sode.

Speaker 12 (01:19:17):
Wet socks, yeah, okay, gonna.

Speaker 7 (01:19:20):
Dry eventually, They're gonna eventually your.

Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
Feet stinking.

Speaker 12 (01:19:27):
Milk jewy, but that druggon on my half though, that's
gonna be the just.

Speaker 7 (01:19:33):
That's gonna cut.

Speaker 10 (01:19:34):
Would you rather your skin change colors based on your
mood like a mood ring? Or would you rather your
Would you rather tattoos pop up on your body based
on what you did yesterday?

Speaker 7 (01:19:48):
Oh? No, my skin, my skin. I would avatar, y'all.
Ass I here, I'd be blue. I ain't like I
swear I'd be blue yellow y'all. I'd just be changing
on you. No, I'd rather be my skin, just change colors.

Speaker 10 (01:19:59):
I would tattoos pop up on you based on what
you did yesterday. It could be very challenging.

Speaker 7 (01:20:05):
That's that's that's telling what I'm doing now, all right,
Junior Jack went last night skin skin. I got to
put my whole body up and cover it up because
you tattooed from the prop.

Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
Up and show.

Speaker 10 (01:20:22):
Junior.

Speaker 11 (01:20:23):
Yeah, I'm going I'm changing colors.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
I'm not OK.

Speaker 11 (01:20:25):
Not finishing.

Speaker 10 (01:20:27):
All right, guys, thank you. That's today's roundup. Would you
rather coming up at forty nine minutes after? It's our
last break of the day, and we'll close out the
show right after this. You're listening hard morning show. All right, Steve,
here we are. It is the last break of the day.

Speaker 11 (01:20:42):
It's the last break of the day.

Speaker 10 (01:20:45):
Love it, and I know you want to leave us
with some closing reminds.

Speaker 7 (01:20:48):
Steve.

Speaker 6 (01:20:48):
You know, last night when I finished up Family Feud,
I was talking to the audience and we were talking
about hanging in there, and one of the audience members
was saying that they feel underqualified because they work around

(01:21:09):
and live around a lot of people with education, and
education is important to a lot of people and in
a lot of fields.

Speaker 2 (01:21:18):
And please know, education is really really great to have.

Speaker 6 (01:21:22):
I'm not knocking it in any shape, form or fashion,
so please don't misunderstand me. But I was asking this
person were they good at school? And they said no,
never have been in it. Ask them what they want
to be in life? Do you have to go to school?
They said not really, And so that kind of troubled

(01:21:43):
me a little bit because I was ended up talking
to a person who was trying to shape who they
really wanted to be and who they saw themselves becoming,
but were trying to shape it in the image of
other external people on the outside and around him. And
I began to talk to this guy and I try
to enlighten him to some things. You know, education is

(01:22:07):
important and you should get as much as you can,
but you can become successful without an education. Now, understand something.
If you want to be a doctor, dentist, lawyer, you
know you want to work in certain branches and the fields.
Of course, you can't be a teacher without an education,

(01:22:30):
can't be a professor without one, can't be a lawyer, doctor, dentists, scientists.
There are things that require an education. But if your
imagination has you somewhere else, stop letting other people try
to put you in the box that they came out of.

Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
There are some people that no matter how you talk.

Speaker 6 (01:22:49):
To them, if you don't do it, they wait, then
you ain't doing it the right way. I cannot even
began to tell you how many people have tried to
talk me off of the path I was on when
clearly God had put me on another path. I tried
to go to college. I did. I've never been a

(01:23:12):
great student. Once again, understand me. Now, I'm not knocking education,
because I tell people all the time I admire people
who climbed the corporate letter through education, who climbed the
educational field that is like amazing to me, because that's
not a skill set I have. But I can't tell

(01:23:34):
you how many people have tried to talk me off
my path. Do you know one time a lady once
told me at a major institution that if you want
to rep this institution, you're going to have to go
back to college. And I said, go back to college
for what? And they said, because it would make a
better statement if you are a college graduate yourself. And

(01:23:56):
I wasn't being arrogant or anything, but I was looking
at this lady trying to figure out what better statement
could I make than crawling out of homelessness, putting my
faith in trust in God, and asking God to rescue
me from all the.

Speaker 2 (01:24:14):
Mistakes I've made.

Speaker 6 (01:24:15):
Watch him do it climb as where now I may
not be up there where you think I ought to be,
and I may not talk to where you think I
ought to talk, But the God I served delivered me
from so many mistakes I had made, college being one
of them. What better testament? What better story can I tell?
Don't let people put you in the box just because

(01:24:38):
that's the box that they jumped out of.

Speaker 19 (01:24:41):
That ain't your box, That ain't your route, that ain't
your journey, That ain't your ticket. You have got to
put your faith in God and understand that all of
us are on a different journey in life. Ain't nobody
traveling negstis exact same path and exact same footsteps as nobody.

Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
I have admired so many people in this world.

Speaker 6 (01:25:08):
I have tried to pattern myself after certain people in
this world. But no matter how hard I try, I
have found no one who has taken the exact same
footsteps as me.

Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
And that don't make them better than me, less than me.

Speaker 6 (01:25:25):
It just ain't no two people taking the exact same footsteps.

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
Look.

Speaker 6 (01:25:31):
I admired Richard Pryor. I admired Muhammad Ali. I admired
Martin Luther King. I admired Michael Jordan, I admired Gandhi.
I admired Mother Teresa. I admired Bishop td Jakes. I
admire Bishop Geddy's, I admire Joe Oldstein. I admire Bishop

(01:25:53):
Kenneth Omer, I admired Donnie Kirk Kirkley. I admire a
lot of people, but they footsteps. Sain't mind not the
exact footsteps. I can learn from something they've all taught me.
I can learn from some things I've watched them do.
But at the end of the day, this is your journey.

(01:26:14):
Your journey is as unique as your fingerprint.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
And that's how special.

Speaker 6 (01:26:19):
God made each and every one of us, because we
all got a different fingerprint. It's billions, over seven billion
people in this world. Ain't no two people got the
same fingerprint. So how to too of you gonna take
the same steps? You better, you better listen to this.
It ain't your journey, It ain't your path. Get on

(01:26:41):
your path, Get on your journey, get on your faith,
get on your knees, and accomplish your job, your dreams,
make your dreams come true. Follow your heart, follow your goals,
follow your imagination. God is good and he can get
you there. And no where does it say a man

(01:27:02):
without an education shall fail. It says a man without
a dream of vision shall parish. Dust them off, handle
your business. Those are my clothing, maw y'all have.

Speaker 11 (01:27:16):
From.

Speaker 10 (01:27:22):
