Speaker 1 (00:00):
Robin Terri little Kid on Brisbane's Kiss ninety seven three
on Friday morning, right at the end of the show,
thinking that we would forget about it over the weekend.
Robin through this little moment in at like the eight
fifty nine Friday morning. Are you still decluttering?
Speaker 2 (00:16):
No, I'm packing up my house. My boys have committed
to one more day with a big vane. And there
may be a person who's good with the drill oh becoming.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Who would that person be?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Someone that your boyfriend's coming to help you? Gil Hello, Hello, Tim?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Cool?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
So quick catch up. Robin's been dating?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, I've been on a I've been on dating apps
for about two and a half months with the help
of my girlfriends, who we all collectively decided that I
had been alone and lonely for long enough and that
I was going to be brave and I was going
to put myself out there. It's been an interesting excursion
into a world that I have never entered into before.
And it's so funny when you meet people because when
(01:00):
they hear that you're on a dating app, they're guaranteed
to give you the worst horror stories they've ever heard. Yeah, Yeah,
and certainly there have been people that I've tried to
engage with online who are just okay, they're dicks, you know,
like you move on and yeah, here we are.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
They send you pictures with their heads.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Now that never worked, and at first you were staying
fairly private about it. Then we had a full disclosure
now exposure call. Somebody said, hey, I saw Robin with
a man noodling.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
I was not canoodling.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
They just the story'll do.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Boat house, yes, and they said, you know, it definitely
look like more than friends.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
And I'm you know, I'm a floating kind of person.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Okay. And so now we know about drill Man.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Is drill man boat man?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, okay, So that's quite a step that he's coming
to help you pack up houses and move. Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
So there are a couple of things that I'm willing
to discuss that I haven't been willing in the past.
You asked me the last time whether I was still
on the art apps, and the answer is no. And
the reason why is because I feel like, if I'm
going to go down a road where I date someone,
I would hope that they are also just seeing what
I'm like. So I don't want to have multiple people
(02:21):
on the go, which I know some people are up for,
but I'm not. And so that's why I've chosen at
this moment to just see quietly, quietly how this goes.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
When you say dating, I mean first date, you've said dating, Well,
you said I'm going to date someone. So was the
boat to date? Was that a catch?
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Well?
Speaker 2 (02:38):
It was? It was. Yeah, it was the start of
just you know, kind of and I purposely moved out
of my suburb because I didn't think I get caught.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
And yet here we are, and the second day is
please come and help me move house? Wal quick, no,
hang on.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
So it was offered for assistance. And I struggle a
lot with this whole concept of moving because I'm such
a creative brain that practical stuff is really difficult. This
particular person is practical with skills and thought, and this
was kind of an idea where we could actually, like,
I thought, that's super helpful. And also there was a
chance that you know what, what do you do with
(03:15):
young men and boys is if you want them to
engage with you, then you get them doing practical things.
So this was a way of it not being weird
of friends friends coming over and helping, and then I
could see what that was about.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Was that his introduction to your sons that okay, now,
how did that go?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay, I don't know that they thought. I mean it's
kind of weird, you know, like that. Yeah, like good
with a drill, good with his hands.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
What can I say here to reveal Robin's address? This
is where I live. The gus come over and help you.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Massive. That was a really massive thing. To be fair,
I am moving.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Address.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yes, but there was something.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
You mist in today's show.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
I'm trying to remember what we were talking about, cars
and the driveway and but that was all about the
boys coming back and cars in the driveway, So it
wasn't we were talking about that.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
So you gave us a clue when we both missed it.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah I did. Okay, this this is this is from
yeah about nearly just before seven o'clock. My friendship are
my absolute heart tribe, and I don't like someone. There
is no going forward really absolutely not. That is a
deal breaker. That is even more than my boys, because
my boys are a bit fly by night. Depending on
what that person can give them, they can be bright,
(04:33):
whereas my my tribe are like my heart space and yeah, nap.
If they don't like them, they're going okay, okay, the clue.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
They got past the girl. If someone got past the girls, is.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
What all it is?
Speaker 2 (04:47):
He's met my girlfriends.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Actually done.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So stid.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Why do you always make it hard?
Speaker 3 (04:56):
This is what I always can plain about this film.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Easy to do. Fool you too. If I'm going to
tell you that this particular bloke is handy with the
drill and good with his hands, has met my son's
and then I tell you that I would prefer for
that person to meet my girlfriend's first. You two are clueless?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Why does it have to be cryptic? Just tell us
so easy, just say what. I'm just going to keep
doing this to play with you, numbs gul. I feel
like have I imagine?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Have you?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Is he right here? It's Involvementary and Kids on Drew's
Fund's chis at ninety seventy three
