Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now, before I tell you about this horrendous life choice
that my three sons have made, I want to ask
you a question because I have this theory that by
the time a child is four, you can see some
of their core personality traits, and certainly I've had that
proven as my boys have grown up. I want to
ask you, what do you think Raffi's core personality traits
would be if I have to say, give me three?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Okay, all right, okay, because yeah, he will be four
in a week. I mean I think he's he's kind.
You can see. I can see that he's kind. He
wants to be funny, right, I can see funny is
very important to him.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We have proved that this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yes, yes, that's right with his little football jake. He's
funny and distracted, distracted, easily distracted, easily distracted.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Okay, So let me go through my three sons.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So my eldest Finn, who's twenty three, I would say
the number one thing about him is his competitive He's
also a guy that stays right till the.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
End and will never miss a party.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Okay. My middle son Lewin, and this was true, and
he was four as it is now at twenty three.
My middle son Luin who's twenty one.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Is feisty.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
He grabs life by the hands and shakes it. He's
also super competitive. Now this may be.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Because they're part of a threesome.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
They're a trio of boys and they've all been super
good at sport. And then my youngest eighteen, Piper who
is he watches and he will never back down and
he'll always do what his brothers do, but he'll try
to do it better.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Oh wow, so they're all competitive.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Really super competitive.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Now this becomes important when I tell you that a
phone call I had this morning.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Now I don't talk to them all the time. I
let them call me.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
It works that I'm at work about four am and
it's sort of mid evening for them, and they'll often
just ring and say on WhatsApp, you know, this is
what we're doing, mum.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
So they're still in Croatia.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
So no, they'd moved to Turkey and they were supposed
to go on to Greece. But the phone call I
got this morning he said, Mum, we're just getting on
a bus to bus Salona.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
We're gonna go and run with the.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Balls immediately as a mum and I've been trying to
be super supportive of all my kids stuff and what
they're doing, because this really is a trip of.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
A lifetime for them, and I want them to have
life experiences and I want them to have fun. So
me as a mother. At four am this morning, I'm
googling running with the balls. Fifty to one hundred people
get injured every time the bulls run. On Monday, ten
people were seriously injured, and there's nineteen hundred that run

(02:36):
at any certain day. So they run over a period
of a week. Starts at eight am.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
In the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
They run down a narrow alleyway which is eight hundred
and seventy five meters long. We don't want the ball
just wondering everywhere. There are six raging male bulls accompanied
by six they actually call them six fighting bulls accompanied
by six bells oxen. It's so that they can actually

(03:02):
operate more as in a herd, and they do tend
to run as a herd. The recommendation for running with
the bulls is that when you start, you run like
the clappers.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Here's my problem. All three of my.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Boys are very athletic. Yes, if they're lined up together
and someone says.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Ready, set to go.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
It will be become about which one of them is
going to win, not whether a fighting bull is up
its backside wanting to take them out.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
They'll be racing each other rather than trying to I
won't even know.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
If you want to win that race, which one would
you trip up?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
That's that's seriously terrifying, frightening do that. I would never
do that.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Well, when I said to them, I was like, OK,
and I said, so what are you going to do?

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Can you? Can you video? Like, can someone show me
that you've survived?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
So they're going to go down tonight our time, which
is eight o'clock tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
They're all yesterday their time.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
They're going to go and.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Watch it, and they're going to get a strategy.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
So what's going to happen?

Speaker 1 (04:12):
In animals finish the fastest without a shadow of a douse.
Piper is probably the youngest, is the most cunning. The
problem is with lou if the ball pisces him off,
turn around and take care.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
You know that. You know that with the running of
the bulls, the real pride comes from touching a ball.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
No, can you stop?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
If you haven't touched the ball, you haven't really done it.
Don't tell them that. Obviously, Mom said, we got don't you.
I'll send them a text. You.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Don't tell them that. I'll just text them really good news.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
The ball hasn't seen the video.
