So yesterday on the show, we tried to call this
person who's been texting Robin. He came out of the
blue send it a bunch of messages, including some ab shots,
which was a little suspicious. So we tried to call
this man that she's calling the Italian Stallion. It's taking

suspiciously longer get through.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
If I if you'd like to leave the name and
number in holfactorists possible things you would now.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
So the reason for the surprise is we had to
scramble that voice that was not the voice that was
on the answering machine. It was also not Italian at all.
It was a different name.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Okay, and Rob doesn't even know the first place to
how this guy got her number.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
No, that's right. So that prompted straight after the show
her friend to give us a call. Thirteen one O
six five is our number. By the way, if ever
you want to get involved with the show, Morning bella.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Good morning, Hello lovely. This is just getting saucy and
juicy and scary and also at the same time.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So when you heard Robin talking about this character straight away,
that was alarm bells for you because you've got some
experience with someone like it.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Maybe, yes, absolutely. As soon as I heard her story,
I just thought, oh my gosh, this sounds exactly like
the creepy Catfisher. So I had an experience.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
With So what happened?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Well, like you, It's a Saturday evening and I get
this message saying Hi, what are you doing? And it
was like, who are you? And how did you get
my number? And so we did the same thing, texted
or back of the message, back and forth, and then
before I know it, I'm getting photos and it got
very intense, very quickly.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Right, And it was the same sort of story. Was
this person Italian as well?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Italian and lived in the same suburbs? Robin mentioned different
names to the name Robin mentioned, but he went by
a different name, And yeah, he said he was forty
six and he looked about twenty six. I kept thinking
about it, serious age difference here. This guy's got to
be kidding. But yeah, I really got very concerned when

I heard her story.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
So did it follow through anyway? Or did you just
block and delete?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I just said, sorry, dude, you're not interested, then blocked
and deleted. Yeah, right, And Then I did speak to
a friend of mine not long after that event, and
I said, look, you know, I think he got my
number from your Insta And she said, oh yeah, he's
done the same to me, blocked and deleted, so he's
been around.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
So hang on, So where do you think he got
your number from your Instagram?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
My instruct Yeah, for sure. How you first reached out?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Is your phone number attached to your Instagram? Raven?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Who that's what's so weird. Then he asked, actually if
he could move to what's happened back when? I was like,
oh sure, you know, totally naive thinking this is a
bit of fun. And so he's off my WhatsApp and
I've tried to find any old messages, but I did
a really good job of deleting.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So yeah, yeah, how long ago was this?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Not that long ago? Around June?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
A couple of months to have you sent bella photos
Robin and what you got?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Same guy?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, exactly the same, exactly the same.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Okay, we need to get we I mean, the great
thing about being a radio station is we have resources
and we do have a p I. So with this
added knowledge, it's PI Dave time. Do you know what
frightens me, Bella is that I think it's someone here
in Brisbane, but maybe not.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Well at one sense he was teen to meet up
for copy, so yeah, that's for him.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
That's that's what threw us off because we thought, well,
if he's a catfisher, he doesn't want to meet in Brisbane.
They never want to meet so but then.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, he went straight to you and I said, oh,
hang on a minute, your coffee. So that sort of
made me think he was in Briston.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Maybe it's like youth crime and they get us out
of the house and then they sit.

Speaker 1 (04:10):

Yeah, thank god, you've got a dog called Shadow. He'll
eat everything. Ye.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I was gonna say Shadow would make short work of them.

this mystery person is, or I'll tell you on the
