Speaker 1 (00:00):
You don't have any tats.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Do you no clean skin?
Speaker 1 (00:02):
And do you not want any?
Speaker 2 (00:04):
I don't think so. Really, Yeah, I can't imagine there's
anything that I want to get tattooed.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
I love my tattoos, do you? And I don't.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
I'm not someone that wants a whole sleeve or anything
like that. My husband Sean, got his first tattoo at
fifty and then by the time he died sort of
six years later, he had an entire sleeve down one
arm and he loved them. He just loved them. He'd
go all over the world, like you to hear about
this cool.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Funky tattoo us when we're in New York. He added
to it.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
They appear to be fungal, and that means once you
get started, they just grow and grow and grow. Like
if you can hold off, you get none, but once
you get one, you're going to get a second one.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
I don't work in that space because I got my
first one on air a number of years ago. Yeah,
I got a star five pointed start to represent each
of the members of my family, so me, Tony and
the three boys. And I also got a girlfriend who
had cancer. She came and got one too of her family.
So that's where I started.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
And then I've got.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Wings on the back of my neck and not like
is it Jonathan Thurston who has the massive.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Ones, Not like that.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
I've just got little ones at the back of my
neck that most people can't see. And I love them
because one day, just like Maleficent, I will manifest them
and fly away.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I'm hanging on to that dream.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
But you don't ever get to see those, okay, So
they just but I.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Know they're there and at times, you know, I don't know.
They're symbolic.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
For me, I'm quite surprise, surprise, an emotional person, and
symbolism is really important. And then the final one that
I have, which I absolutely love, and this was I
got this about two weeks before Sean died, and he
just he was so.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Frightened that we wouldn't remember him.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
So his kids and I went to a tattoo artists
in Balimba and we got a friend of mine's a nurse,
and she brought over the heart monitor and so we
got his heartbeat and then their tattoo artists put his
name and his heartbeat on my arm.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, that's right up before right at my front.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
My boys get so thick about it. They're like, what
if you date someone else. I'm like, this is my history. Yeah,
this is something that I absolutely love that I have
to remind me of the great love of my life.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I understand their question, though, because that is idea have.
That thought is like, I wonder if someone else, when
someone else comes along, if they're going to be weird
about your ex husband's pulse being across your arm as
a constant reminder.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, but it's about love, and it's about heartbeat, and
it's about remembering someone. If someone is really weird about
the fact that I'm honoring the memory, because Sean was
really frightened of that, and I thought, no, if you're
on my arm and people can see, then I get
to talk about you.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
The right person for you is going to be fine
with it. It's true, it.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
May not be the right person for anyone else, hence
why I can't find them.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
They're around.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, you're doing some weeding.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yeah, it's this interesting article that I found and I
wanted to propose it to you about the four star
signs that shouldn't get tattoos okay, and the four star
signs that should write and you are in one of
those categories. Okay, yeah, but not the one you want
to be. So you're actually the one that should.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Get because I'm a Cancerrian.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
And cancerrians and water signs are truly sentimental. So it
just like I've just because I'm also a water sign.
I'm a Scorpio. We like to have things that remind
us of the things that we love, so you could
put Raffi's name on your arm and as a reminder.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
So the water sign.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
So Pisces, cancer, and Scorpios are all good for tats.
Leo's are all good for tattoos because Leo's like to
be the center of attention, so they like the fact
that people.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Go, Hi, tell me about your tattoo, right, yes, okay.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
The ones that shouldn't okay.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Okay, the two indecisive signs of the zodiac and Ange
Anderson in our newsroom.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
You're on the cusp of one of them, Gemini and Librin.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
They don't like making decisions, so the actual thought of
putting a permanent thing on.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Their body is a little too much for them.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I've always said that I don't have tattoos, and the
reason is nothing is permanent.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
In my life, but that was before the birth of
my daughter.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
The other sign that shouldn't virgo because they're so precise
and if there's even the slightest problem with that tattoo,
they would just employ.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Oh yeah, I think I put myself in that category,
and I think if I had a fault on my tattoo,
I couldn't stand in handle. Oh imagine if you had
no ragrets, I couldn't live.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
And the other one that shouldn't is a sagittarian because
they're so impulsive, they make stupid decisions and they would
get a tattoo that they would regret. I do remember
a couple of years ago some bloke in the UK,
I think it was Christmas Eve, and why the tattoo
artists would do this?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
He put a Christmas pudding on his.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
On his forehead. Bad. Just doesn't it just look like
an emoji pood far that's bad tattoo artistry.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
You shouldn't do that to another human.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I mean, I think most tattoo artists are really ethical
and they don't actually tattoo someone when they're drunk.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yes, because they make stupid So that's so you've got
the wings, You've got the pulse and you've got the
star anymore.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Yeah, I've said to my boys, when all three of
them are back in the country, I'm going to get
three more stars to represent them. And I've also said
that they can have tattoos. So both Finn and lou
And have already kicked off and pipes, who's a librin
County side?
Speaker 2 (05:17):
You all right, bit of proof proof to your pudding
as those are
