All right, it is time now for tell me something good.
Here's some good news. Music producer Metro Booming partnered with
the step and Marjorie Harvey Foundation to spotlight single moms.
Metro purchased tickets for twenty six single moms along with
their children to attend the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers game. However,

TMZ reports that Metro himself chose not to attend so
the mothers would be the focus of the event. The
Mom's Rock single moms are the real superheroes t shirts.
The Single Mothers or Heroes initiative is a meaningful way
for Metro to give back to the community. It's also
a way for him to honor his late mother. So Steve,

(00:41):
the question is why is it so important for your
foundation to partner with people wanting to make a difference
in the community. Well, I mean, our focus has always
been single mothers because that's how I started my foundation
off to help single mothers who were raising boys. By itself,
that was the core of it. Marjorie a guy on

(01:02):
board and created the Girls program, which is quite different.
You don't have to be from single parent homes, none
of that. Margie just takes girls from all different walks
of life and changes their lives. And we look for
partnerships of people who share the same values that we
do and have some of the same concerns, because if
my foundation can chip in some money, you know, to

(01:25):
help help make some things happen. Like Metro got in there, man,
great great, great, great brother you know, and wanted to
do this for single mothers. And then we find out
about it and say, hey, man, well we got a
group over here, can we help and join in? And
then we form these partnerships. It takes a village, you know.
It's it's hard. And you know I said this before

(01:48):
because you know, as I try to fund raise for
this ranch that I bought for these kids, it's hard
because when you're well off and you start soliciting funds,
everybody want to go, why don't you just do it yourself? Well,
that's that's crazy, because you know, I don't. I don't
know how much money you think everybody got, but there's

(02:10):
an illusion to how much money people really have. And
I don't know nobody that can just go do anything
they want to do. I don't have that kind of money.
There are people who do, but then you got to
look at what they doing, Like the Bill Gates Foundation
could come in there and do the whole thing, but
then they're doing hundreds of millions of dollars around the
world and stuff, so charitable donations. Yes, So we always

look for partnerships to keep the thing going, you know,
because it's very hard to solicit funds when you well off,
because everybody think, will why don't you just do it? Well,
they have no idea what you've already done and what
you up against even make the thing run. So we
look for partnerships and guys like Metro great people to
partner with. You know. We have several partnerships, you know,

and sometimes we partner with people because we just help
them with our money to move they calls along. We're
about the lifted edification of people. So Steve, you've heard,
why is he asking us for money? He got money?
You've heard, and I hit it. I hit that all
the time. If look, if I had all the money,
I just do it. I don't. That's just the reality
