the Guinness Book of World Records, the crown for the
oldest man in the world goes to one hundred and
eleven year old John Alfred tennis Wood. He currently lives
in a nursing home in northwest England, and he said
living to be one hundred and eleven years old is

just pure luck. He's said he's never smoked, he rarely
drank alcohol, and he never was on any special diets.
So I wanted to ask you, sister Odell, what are
some did you know him? First of all, did you
know that's all?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
That's not true? My daddy lived longer than that. My
daddy was one hundred and thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
When he really biblical age thirty.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Eight really, and he and he worked out in the fields, yes, man,
he had he he ate.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
He ate raw con, he smoked con and he ate poke.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Wow. And he still lived to be one hundred and
thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yes, because there wasn't nothing in that food back then,
you know, wasn't no hard and things like daddy now
all that you ain't a body, you know, and things
like that, and hamedy all that wasn't in.

The foods back then. He need it. But I don't
know who this man name is now.

His name is John Alfred Tennis Wood.

ain't gotta go out there and cut the grass. You
ain't gotta go to work nowhere. He ain't sitch as
round for a hundred eleven years.

So, so do you have any suggestions, you know, for one,
how to live longer, stay healthy, all of that because.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
You're you're st out of trouble. Don't listen to rap music.
What what does that have to do with it?

Well, you know, you listen to rap mus that'll get
a cap busted in you.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Hang me right now.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
They dad here ain't even hit too fast because any
acting out these words. You know the way if I
was young today, stop living in the rap music. Stray
away from you know, you could try some weed or something,
but you need to stay away from all that stuff
they make in the backyard. Anything you buy the trailer home,
don't use it, fish and all methanoll staateway from all.

That, A long healthy life, all that.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
You try some weed, I guess you know, because I
got a couple of freedoms of mine that's on it
for medical reasons. On the US, you know you're moting.

Like oh, if you want to get your weight up,
you're old and you need to get your weight up.

We got this man come through, call himself plug Plug
come through there and on on on weed night and
