Okay, here's the here's the question. What about the current world?
What about the current world would be most surprising to
your younger self? All right, Steve, So do you think
the most surprising thing about the current world your younger
self would be upset and shocked about is how people
can actually make a living as influencers, you know, influencers

taking pictures of themselves posting them on the internet on
social media.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Oh would I be shocked at that? Just that? Oh?
Hell yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Because all I knew was hard work. I just I
just saw my daddy hard work.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I ain't never knew.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
No, if weren't influenced who there were no cell phones?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Who how you gonna influence them? And ain't but three
TV stations?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
So what are you fitting to do? I would be stunned.
I'm stunned anyway. I mean, like, I'm to be honest
with you, as my current self, I'm still amazed at
the and I'm really opening my eyes to the fact
that these young people have another way of earning a
living and it's not the route we took.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
And it's been a struggle for me admitting to that.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
So okay, So that's that's another part to part two
of this question, what would your younger self find shocking?
What else would you find shocking?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Cell phone phone? Cell phones? Cell phone, it's unthinkable. Yeah,
that was one of the greatest inventions. Party right up there,
unthinkabout that.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
And a computer that you can type in information and
it talk talk back to you Siri.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
In your phone, Siri Alexa dog dog.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
We had to call for war one, right, yeah, we
had to call for one one.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
To a live operator and she didn't know how to
time right.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Oh, you had to have all the information that she
would say, I don't see that.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I need more information. Hold on, hold up, hold up
a phone book. Hello you.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Absote bro, because if you was looking for John Smith
and open the phone book, give me a picture.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
What's John Smith?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Is a lot of down that line, just trying to
call and hope that little girl.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Answer the phone. What little girl?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Uh huh? John Smith her daddy name. I got to
go down to the Smith. I don't have her phone number.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I got to call and ship. You know you liked
when you were getting cussed out hung up on.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
I wish you that would bring you a little black
ass by here, come on by here.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
She don't live here. But come by you.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
What about landlines with that real long extension cord?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Go on out, man.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
My daddy bought her fifty foot that he could talk
on the porch. We thought that was the coolest thing
in the world, porch talking. You tried to take that
phone out on the porch and talk, but look the
hell you going with that phone.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
You ain't brought no cord in here.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
