A San Francisco, California woman has been convicted of stealing
over sixty thousand dollars in merchandise from the same Target
store dozens of times by using the self checkout lanes.
During the investigation, authorities followed and surveilled the suspect after
leading Target with the unmade merchandise and observed her selling

the stolen goods to anyone passing by. A trial by
jury took place and the woman was convicted of one
felony count of grand theft and violation and fifty two
misdemeanor counts of petty theft from Target. She could be
sentenced to three years in state prison. Wow, so she
used the self checkout lane. We we've kind of talked
