Memorial Day holiday weekend, my girlfriend told me that I
should have her name tattooed somewhere on my body. Then
she got a little put off when I hesitated and
hit me with the line all my other boyfriends did it,
why won't you? First off, I never said no, I

just said I think about it. Secondly, I didn't ask
how many of her exes did it. But I can't
help but think of a whole line of guys with
the name Kendra tattooed on them and what they eventually
did to cover up what they surely thought was a
mistake after they broke up. Uncle Steve, how can I
explain to my girl, there's really no reason for me
to do this.

more years of college left, and this week my parents
told me they are selling our house and moving to

the suburbs. Then said I can move with them, but
then I would have to commute into the city for school.
I'm sad because this is going to make my life
so much more complicated. I tried to explain this to them,
but they don't get how much more difficult it will
be for me to finish school if I have to
pay rent in the city or spend more than ten
hours a week on the train. So here's a question.

Is it selfish of me to want them to delay
their move until after I graduate? How can I get
them to see the benefits of waiting a couple more years.

All the benefits are for you. Yeah, how much more
of a sacrifice do your parents have to make? Why
does it always have to be about you? That's what
life is. Life is a series of sacrifices. Your parents
have every right to do what they want to do.
Get on the train, put your head sets on, get

y'all quit thinking all your kids is college material because
they not. My wife then told me that she don't

want me to tie yet because we gotta put the
money away for the kids college. I send the damn
parents to school. I'm not sending these grandkids to school.
And plus I've assessed two of my grandsons already, and
I already know two of them main college material. And
I'm not wasting a damn dollar on it. Bought his
ass a lego set he talking about. He finished, Pap Paul,

I go over the house. He don't build a wall. Now,
why am I sending his ass coming? He gonna go
to the rye and he gonna be a brick layer.
Since you like building the wall, you can go somewhere
and be bigger wall. Your ass ain't got to go
to college.
