Speaker 1 (00:00):
Coming up at the top of the hour and entertain
the news. Now, Steve, you've been mentoring youth for over
fifteen years for your Steven Marjorie Harvey Foundation, and over
a decade, yes, over a decade with the Disney Dreamers Academy.
We're going to have a full circle moment coming up
with one of your mentees who is now a pastor.
He's also a therapist and an author. Full circle moment.

(00:23):
That's all coming up. Yeah, that's major. Right right now,
it is time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
Steve Harvey in the building right after this.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
That is not correct.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Right now, it is time to ask the CLO our
chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Here we go Monroe and Lafayette.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Says, my girlfriend broke up with me, but she can't
stand to see me with anyone else. She randomly posts
sold pictures of us to create problems in my new relationship.
Why did she break up with me? If this is
how she's going to act, how can I stop her?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
No, you can't stop her. Why aren't you just going
about your business now? She can post all the pictures
she wants. You know what you probably need to do
is quit wearing that shirt dog that you had while
you were vain her cause she posts that picture and
you got that on that that date you was with
this new girl.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
That's your problem.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
See when you get when somebody get rid of you,
you got to get rid of them.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Sometimes.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You got to get rid of the remnants of the relationship,
the remnants all in pictures, sitting around all that, all that,
all that, all that, that blanket y'all used to lay
on it, all that, you got to get rid of
the remnants. So that shirt that you that's your favorite
date shirt, you got to quit wearing that because you're

(01:42):
wearing that with your new girl and make it look
like you was out with her last week. See what
I'm saying. She's not gonna stop though. Yeah that you
go say, I've been.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Through that shirt away. I don't even have that shirt though.
And then when a new girl look in the closet
and it ain't there, turn out.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
All right. Moving on to Chan and Arlington, Chan says,
I'm twenty eight and I hate my job, but it
pays very good money. My boyfriend said to quit my job,
and he float me while I find another job. My
mom said, it's a risky deal because he gets so
mad all the time. Do I take the risk or
keep suffering at my job?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Well, no, you don't keep suffering. But you need to
find something else to do. If you want to have
a miserable life, wake up to go do something you
don't like doing for an extended period of time, if
you want to have a miserable life. I am a
proponent of chasing your dream. So you probably call the
wrong guy for this information because I say chase your dream.

(02:46):
At least you can wake up in the process of
pursuing something that you're happy about. Because I'm gonna tell
you right now, the job that you have is not
tied to your gift. Oh, it pay good, but it's
not what you gifted at. If you were gifted that
it would come natural to you. You would find enjoyment,
you would find purpose, but finding your gift.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
But you're not suggesting that she quit and let her
boyfriend take care of her until she finds another job.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Though, Well, I'm saying what I said.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
But now if you if you're quitting with the expectation
of somebody taking care of you, I don't.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Know if that's the way.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, you know, if I were you, I would have
enough saved up. Well when I bounce, I got it.
I got a little hole money until I find something else. Okay,
you know, but I would not be dependent on somebody else, because,
like your mama said, he get mad too.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Quick, right right?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
You know, yeah, I don't. I don't. I'm not giving
nobody that control over me.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Pa, that's her, it's shell.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Okay, we cleared that up, all right.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Moving on to Jasmine and Cleveland, Jasmine writes, my husband
and my husband and I had an off and on
kind of marriage, and I ended up pregnant by someone
else on one of our breaks. He accepted my daughter,
but he keeps complaining about me cheating on him. He
was doing it, so why couldn't I?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Well, you got a baby.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Now, you remember what I just said a minute ago.
Sometimes when you end the relationship, you got to get
rid of the rhymnet.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yeah, your rhymnet is a baby.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Can't get rid of that.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
You can't get rid of the baby. So that's a
constant reminder. You not only went and got with somebody else,
you brought somebody.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Else back with you.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So and if you if you think a man gonna
get pad that what No, you No, you not only
left him when you came back, you came back with
somebody with you. You came back with a baby and
his baby. So you came back with a baby and
another daddy. Yeah, see, you came back with two people

(05:02):
a lot. That's a lot. How you don't think he
not understanding that? Me personally, I don't know how he
took you back. I don't know if you don't go
off and get pregnant. I'm a strongly suggest that whoever
you got pregnant with is willing to take care of
you and he I don't know that I'm gonna do that.

(05:25):
I don't know that. I haven't been in that position,
but I don't know. Now marrying a woman who has children,
that's totally different, completely, that's completely different. But if you
have a first of all, and here's another new norm
for us. On the Steve Harpin water Show, I'm been
on again, off again marriage. You know, you know I've

(05:48):
heard on again, off again relationship. You got to own
again off a getting married?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
We're married now we're not we're married.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah, man, I'm gonna go see somebody else. I'm gonna
go see somebody else too. Well, I'm pregnant with the baby.
What see we now that off section has get extended.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, Jasmine and Cleveland, all right, moving on, this is
our last one.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
See. This is Aretha and Bartlett.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Aretha writes, My twenty three year old daughter lives with me,
and I've allowed her boyfriend to stay overnight. But I
was shocked to see two guys leave from her room
last night. Her boyfriend was not one of them. She
said they were watching movies. Is my childhood tramp?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yes? Sound like And I'm gonna tell you right now.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
And she ate the Disney movie Tramp either, I'm gonna
tell you that right now. Yeah, Yeah, she ainate that
Disney movie Tramp. I'm gonna tell you that right now.
She ain't tramped the doll. I'm gonna tell you right
now that little girl has been there, you know, first
of all to me and left her room.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Is my daughter trump?

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Well let me ask you someone, when the last time
two men left your room a bedroom.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Now, not a house. They weren't in the house. They
was in the bedroom. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
I ain't been in no movie that year. I've never
seen a movie. Who I went in a girl's bedroom
to watch the movie.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Coming up, Thank you, Clo.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Coming up at the top of the hour, we have
