Well.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
The heat wave hitting the East Coast and the Midwest
is expected to last until Friday. More than sixty six
million people from Iowa to Maine are currently under a
heat warning or advisory. Nearly nine million people will be
in the areas where temperatures reach one hundred degrees or higher.
The Weather Prediction Center says this week long heat wave
is quote potentially the longest experienced in decades. For some locations.

(00:26):
Extreme heat can be extremely dangerous, as heat related deaths
make up the largest portion of deaths caused by weather events.
Officials are urging residents of affected areas to find access
to air conditioning. In New York, Governor Katie hochel enlisted
help from the National Guard to open more than five
hundred cooling centers throughout the state.

Yeah, fighting in New York, and it's really really hot
there right now. You know, New York has had those summers,
you know, and get really really hot and humid there.
We've lived there, so we know. But I mean you
got to stay hydrated. I mean, the weather is crazy

right now. They got this tropical issue happening in the
golf and something in the Atlantic so I mean global war.
