Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, guys, so listen to this.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
If someone throws a party, are all guests obligated to
stay and clean? That's the question on the table. This
is from Tony and Steve HARVEYFM. Tony says, I was
at a friend's barbecue the other day and I feel
bad when it was over because everyone was cleaning up.
But I really had to go. I had to pick
my son up and get the other kids home to

(00:23):
go to sleep.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Staying to clean was not an option for me.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I have had parties where no one, no one stays
and cleans.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So here's my question. This is the question from Tony.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
How obligated are party guests to stay at the end
and help the host clean?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
If I throw a barbecue, then yes, I'm not really
expecting nobody to stay around and help me clean up.
I just don't if it was my choice. I decided
to invite you old, so I'm not expecting you to
do anything. I'm not expecting you to bring nothing. I'm
I'm laying it all the way out. But now let's
get to that Thanksgiving though, that's the one Thanksgiving that

(01:00):
that pot love, where everybody bringing something that one well,
the dishes are just everywhere, because think about it, y'all,
when we're doing a barbecue, it's really it's paper plates,
you know what I mean. You know you're making it
easy and simple, but when you pull out all that
that that that that good flat, well, all that good
good everything. Now okay, all right, if you're gonna sit

(01:24):
here and take all plates home, yes, yes, we're gonna
clean up together.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Oil oil.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Tommy, you're saying it depends on the occasion, if.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
You sho I think it depends on the occasion when
it's Thanksgiving, because it's a mess. We everybody need to
clean up. Let's get together, that's all. And that's what
I've seen. You know our family members do they all
get together clean up, and.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
We couldn't a family member.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
You know, if you hate that thanks getting at the house,
you got four or five paper plates wrapped in foil. Yes,
I don't care who you got to pick up. You're
gonna be late picking them up. Okay, but clean up
round here.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
If you're guests, go ahead, Junior, I'm gonna let you speak.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I'm totally against what Timmy's talking about.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I'm not on the clean up crewise, I'm the guest.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
You called me and asked me to do that.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
That's why over here am not picking up folk.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Okay, I am telling you right now, if you look
for me to have a trash bag at your house,
I will not.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I have gone so far as to ask do you
need any help? Meaning that as men.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Everybody, meaning sir, don't even bring up do you need anything?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I am here to eat and be merry.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
That's what I'm being.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
So I appreciate what Timmy throw a barbecue. I love
going to look at the lake, have a wonderful.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Time, and then I'm leaving, gotta get out of Shirley.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Sure, when you call, when y'all say do you need
any help? If they say yes, then what.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Oh look at the time, girl, I'm sorry. They're not
going to say yes. You already know they're not gonna say.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Oh, my way out.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I point out stuff. Did you see that play by
the door?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I did?

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yes, They're not okay, So let me say it depends
on who is throwing the party. If it's somebody I'm
very very close to, I will say you need some help.
And I look in their kitchen and I look that
they're overwhelmed, then I will help.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I will help. It just depends on who it is.
Different but right, but she.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
But I'm like Junior, I'm probably gonna bounce before the end,
before the clean up.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Who comes to me dipping out? Yes, I looked like
the kitchen. If it looked like the kitchen.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
And Boomerange.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Barry.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, come on, man, don't leave me like this.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Man, don't do.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
That when parents left. Yeah, thank bank, bank bank.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Hey, man, give me some help over here. If I
had to kill an insect while I was at your house,
I've done my job.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
If you had to kill an insect, if.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I had to get there, legs on it, I'm going.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
All right.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Happy holidays, all right, coming up now. If you tell me, Frank, phone.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
