NBA All Star Lebron James was chosen.

By his fellow US Olympians to serve as the male
flag bearer for the US and this Friday's opener for
the Paris Games, Lebron will make history as the first
men's basketball player to carry the US flag. So congratulations
to Lebron. We will be watching Lebron.

Yeah, I'm ready for the Olympics.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Man.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I am ready for that too.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Man. Speaking of it, do you guys feel there is
enough hype for the Olympics. The Olympics, you know, start
in just a couple of days. But according to a
new online poll, people don't feel excited about the Olympics
this year, and only nine percent of the adults that
were polled said they will be watching every day.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
So you know, I'm watching every day, but I'm you know,
I'm a sports guy, so I want to see all
them and then you know, y'all already know I love them.
Them synchronized swimmers, I can't wait for them.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
That is so funny to me. I love it too,
But it's funny.

I just don't know how to hold brepped that long
and dance at the same time upside down y'all don't understand.
This is a guilt.

It takes a lot too. They have to have their hair,

I think I think people are excited about the Olympics.
I just think maybe this week the breaking news I
think it's been overshadowed by politics this week because we
are so excited about the presidential candidate VP Kamala Harris,
and I think politics has been kind of overshadowing the Olympics.
I think when the opening ceremony starts, people are gonna

start getting into it and watching in normal sports, uh huh.

listen to this. She had a really shocking interview recently.
Janet is on the second leg of her Together Again
concert tour, and in an interview in Britain recently, she

had the strangest request. She asked the host to stop
asking her questions. Okay, you're doing an interview, but you
asked the host to stop asking you questions. Janet says, quote,
I don't mean to be rude, but I have to
be honest with you. Please stop asking me questions. I
have never thought that I give good interviews. I really

don't like speaking, so I'd rather stay quiet and listen
to other people talk.

Michael when she talked.

living in New York, we interview Jennet. She came into
the studio to call it us that she came to
I was talking. She said, I like your boice so southern.
I like the way it sounds. And Steve looked at
me and said, you need to get your heads at
the studio.

Uh well, social media users have caused the Netflix movie
Leave the World Behind to go viral after pointing out
similarities in the movies plot to what we all experienced
over the weekend, and many are concerned that this will
one day, this will one day be our reality. You
guys saw the movie Leave the World Behind, right? Everybody

Would Julia Roberts, Yeah, I saw, yeah, yeah.

So you know the in the movie there was no Internet,
remember that, there were no phones. There was just no
going back to normal. So do you think it was
just a movie or should we be concerned about longer lasting,
more serious outages in the future.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I think we should be concerned because that movie, you know,
it was just the blackouts that occurred, the Internet being out.
It was serious and then you know, spoiler alert if
you haven't seen the movie. The bottom line was there
was some family or a family that was prepared for

the end a bunker.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
That's why I got twenty cases of water, twenty cases
of toilet paper. I have a lot of paper towels.
We have a lot of beans and rice. We have
a lot of summer sauces, a lot of cheese.

We have we are prepared at my home. You need
a lot of toilet paper.
