is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we go again.
You know, ladies and gentlemen, I can't tell you how
grateful I am to God Almighty for just for just everything,
for all of it, for the breath of life, for
a measure of health, for opportunity, for another shot at

another day, for another amazing just just to have a
relationship with him, just to be, you know, to feel
like something might be going on and got a place
to go with it, you know, to have some dreams
and visions and got some help with it. Boy, that
God is something else man, all knowing, all powerful. Welcome
to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is how we

with you today? Man? Man? Let me ask you so
when you was on that baking and I know you
said you be talking to God a lite, what did
you learn while you was out there this time? What's
the lesson you've got this time? You got? Boy? Man,
I love quite a bit of them today. But you know,

I have to remember something I was reviewing in my notes.
You know that I take. I got a little journal down.
I'm gonna do it every single day, but I try
to do it as many times in the week as
I can. And I was reviewing something, and you know,
there's a scripture in the Bible that says you have
not cause you ask not right, Okay, But then if
you keep reading a little bit further, which is true,

most people don't have what they want in life because
they never asked God for it. But if you read
a little bit further, it says you have not because
you ask a miss which I interpreted to me you
ask for the wrong reason. Sometimes you're not getting what

(01:50):
you want from God because you're asking, but you're asking
for the wrong reason. I mean, so I had to
think about it. Does everything you ask God for have
to just benefit you? Can you not do something that
would give God the glory? Could you not ask for

something that could benefit others? Okay? It's like that. Okay,
Like you want some more money, Okay, ain't nothing wrong
with that. You should ask God for some more money.
But is the money just gonna benefit you for pleasure?
Are you gonna take some of that money and help
somebody that needs something. Are you gonna take some of

(02:31):
that money and give it towards a cause? Are you
gonna take something some of this money and build your
foundation or just help you know your family members that
you know need something. So you gotta remember when you
ask God for something, it can't always just be about
you because you on a better looking car, or you

(02:52):
on a bigger house, or you on a nicer wardrobe.
Sometimes you ask and you have not because because you
ask a miss. I mean, think about it. If you
got everything you need, which a lot of people do, food, shelter, clothing,
those are our needs right, So the rest of it
we in the wont category. So ain't nothing wrong with

(03:15):
you want more because he'll give you more because I'm
showing the wont category. But I won't so I can
help benefit from other people too, And God bless you
with that. That's what I learned. So that's just me.
I think you got too much. I think you got
way too much. If you ask, you asking way too much.
