Speaker 1 (00:00):

Lighthouse Church in Houston and Henderson Pastor key On Henderson.
Pastor Kean's new book is called Lazy Love. It is
available now and we've invited him on the show to

(00:21):
tell us all about it.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Lazy Love. That's at the top of the hour. Right now,
I'm leading.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Right now, it's time to ask the clo our chief
Love Officer, Steve Harvey.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
This is from Cammy and Lexington.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Cammy writes, I almost had sex with my coworker's man,
but something was off, so I didn't do it. I
just found out that they're dating and he did some
things that he shouldn't have done. If he's got a girlfriend.
Should I warn my coworker about her boyfriend?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
What you're going to tell him that you almost had
sex with it? What is this warn in fitness sound like?
Because the warning because she ain't gonna take it as
a warning about him, She gonna take it as a
warning about you. Hey, I don't know if you know
this him, but I almost slept with him and let
me tell you what he said. Excuse me back. I

(01:17):
don't know if you've ever told a woman something before.
I have, but usually when you tell a woman something,
they usually pick up on something else in the tale
that you wasn't trying to tell. The experts at that.
So if I was you, now you give you another
woman you ought to know this. But I'm just telling

(01:38):
you as a man. You know how many times I
tried to tell my wife something, But what I was
trying to tell her she picked up something else in
the tale. I ended up end up telling on my
damn self. Uh uh. So if I was, you shut
your damn mouth. He did wasn't something he wasn't supposed
to do, and you was about to do something you

(01:59):
wasn't supposed to do. That you can go over there
and tell if you want to go ahead, go ahead.
You ain't gonna believe it, though, Please write us back
and let us know how it went.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
All right? All right, this is from Hannah and Norcross.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Hannah, she's gonna set my cubicle on fire. And all
I did was Uncle, I told you go.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Ahead, Hannah says.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
My boyfriend and I moved in together, and I had
planned to buy new beddings for us, but his mama
took it upon herself and bought a bunch of stuff
for us. I don't like her style at all. How
do I set boundaries with her so this won't happen again?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
First of all, say mama, thank you so much. It
was so kind. It was just a kind gesture, that's
all it was. Now, you know, old people ain't got
good taste. She done went down there though. Just look,
Just say hey, thank you, ma'am, really appreciate it, and
then put it away and go on and buy what
you wanted buy. She ain't gonna come over there checking
your bed and and all that. Just go on and
thank her for it, you know, But don't mess it

(03:03):
up by saying that ain't my style, that ain't what
I want. So just say thank you for the nice gesture.
And now, toll, keep the relationship cool between you and
her and you and him. Don't go over that front
of this man's mama talking about your mama picking out
all this pole mess. Don't say that, please don't.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Hannah and Northcross all right.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Chandria in the DMV says, my husband's new job gave
him another phone that he claims is strictly for work,
but I caught him texting on it and looking at TikTok.
I don't even have the phone number. How do I
find out if it's really for work? Is he trying
to trick me?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Well, let me ask you. So, do you feel tricked?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Sounds like it, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
You know he texting on it and he got TikTok.
You know, my job gave me a phone that's just
for work. Okay, alright, alrighty? You know you do know
you can get another line on your current phone, don't you?

(04:15):
You know you can have a business line and a
personal line on your same phone. You can get two
different numbers on one phone. I'm just you know you
don't need two phones, but you do. I don't know
what to tell you, ma'am. Is he trying to trick me?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Now?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Now? He ain't trying to trick you? The job gave
him a phone because you know, the job say hey,
look when you relax and you need to look on
TikTok and we won't be bigger to look on it
without using your battery up.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yep, that's what the job had said.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, what the job said?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
All right, last One's Deep Last Ones. This is from
Caleb in Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Caleb writes, why does my wife need to know where
I am at all times? I'm fifty nine years old
and overweight, So I'm flattered that she thinks I can
still pull women, but I'm not. I would love to
leave the house without her calling to chit chat? How
do I get through to her?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
I don't know what tell you, man, I don't know
what to tell you. She's trying to keep track of
your fat ass. That's all they had. None to it
it overweight.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Huh he said overweight.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
That means fat ass. Yeah. If a man called hisself overweight,
the rest of us know his ass is fat. We
already already know that. Now women, we don't do that
to women. But if you a man and you say
I'm overweight, your ass is fat? Now you want to
use fat as the excuse for your wife not to

(05:54):
call you? And that's not letting them skinny me and
getting these calls don't ball hit me and getting these calls.
Whole men get these cars, rich men get these calls. Dog,
What do you want? How you thought you was gonna

(06:17):
be married? And ain't nobody gonna call you and see
where you at. Time is wanna go somewhere and don't
have to say where he at? Junior wanna go somewhere
and don't have to say where he at. I wanna
go somewhere and don't have to say where I'm at.
The good thing about me is my ass is at work,

(06:37):
so we know where you are. And then when I
ain't at work, I'm at the house trying to wrest
so I can tell my ass back to work. And
then why I'm going anyway? Why I'm going anyway? I
can't go no, damn well without somebody. Hey, let me

(07:00):
tell you something. I was in a store overseas, right, huh.
And as soon as I walked in, the guy recognized me,
took me to his back room, broke out the champagne,
bought it in, little pastries and everything nice. Somebody came
in there and said that I didn't know and didn't
work at the store. Are you Steve Harvey? I said no.

(07:21):
That guy came back in there took all that champagne
picking pastries up. I was sitting in that room by
my damn self. I ain't know what all right, Steve?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Colo coming up at the top of the hour, we
will hear from the pastor of the Lighthouse Church in Houston,
Pastor Kean Henderson. Right after this, you're listening Morning Show
