Speaker 1 (00:00):
Right now. You know, lots of college freshmen are buying
stuff for their dorm rooms. They're packing up the car.
They're heading off to college to begin a new chapter
in life. That's what they're doing. So here's a question
for you for today, if you could, Guys, if you could,
what would you tell your college freshman self about the
journey you were about to embark on? Boy, you about

(00:24):
to act a damn fold up? God? Doog?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Ooh, you ain't got the report to nobody who.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
You're free? Ooh, ain't no more being here by eleven thirty?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
None of that? Man, God, I tell them, don't even
take their stuff. I have to call keep all that
isn't there. We're not even gonna be here long, I
promise you listen.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Just get used to living with nothing.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
For a while. Why are you signed enough for any
of these class?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Wow, you're not gonna go to class?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You know? Why are you signing up for any of
these classes? The basic requirements? You can't even complete that psychology?
What I'm down there for? Man? American literature?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Me?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
American literature? Is you crazy? Right there?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Like math classes like algebra, geometry.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I shouldn't have taken in high school. I'm a girl
with math right after arithmetic. I'm telling you right now,
the only thing I was interested in it was arithmetic. Addition, subtraction, multiplication,
and division. That's all I needed. And I needed to
know how to move that decimal over and so I
can get to them. Since that's all I needed, I

(02:00):
ain't used nothing else since wise we and algeb. But
what were physics? What are you talking about, Countess? But
you're talking to me Fault never used it, never.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Used English, English, English.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Listen to me, she do you think I can't.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Listen?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Listen to me and time and we sound like we can't.
I've given motivational speeches. People have paid to hear me
as a motivational speech, and I've watched them when I've
said certain things, I've watched them go don't pain. Okay,

(02:44):
old right now, Steve, you better say it like that.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
No science or anything by all, none of that. I mean,
we took it.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I took it. Signs. I need it surely. How to
cook the ramen noodle? That's what I got. Heat. I
need to know that what temperature do these bail at?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
That's all I got.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I do miss the dusk to dawn dances. We would
go in at dusk and come out at dawn. That
was really an important part of my life.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
All right, thanks guys, Coming up in thirty four minutes
after the hour, we're gonna check Steve's voicemail. Right after this,
you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
