Well, Steve, this one is from Mildred Mildred in Lexington. Okay.
Mildred says, my grandson is eighteen years old and he
has a key to my house. I came home Friday
afternoon and he had a girl on my living room
couch and they were half naked. I called his mama
and told her what he did, and she was very upset.
My grandson had the audacity to tell me that he's grown,

(00:25):
and I was wrong to call his mama on him.
I'm so upset with him right now that I want
to take his key to my house back. How should
I handle him disrespecting me and my house?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Number one, take your keyback from his house because he
disrespects the house roofs. That's number one. He grown. You
shouldn't have called his mom. Well, if you grown, get
your grown as a hotel room. You bought a key
and came over to your grandmother's house. And then that
sense of entitlement that I'm grown. See, you know what

(00:58):
killed me bout young people. They do stupid stuff and
then want to label it I'm grown. Well, just because
you've grown don't mean you free to do what you
want to do. I'm grown, but I can't drive ninety
you know it's seventy mile POWs on without getting a ticket.
I'm grown, but if I don't come to work, the
ass ain't gonna pay me pay. I'm grown, but I can't.

I can't take no girl over to my house and
be on no couch with him and somebody walk in
half nicked. And then my statement is I'm grown. Right, Well,
I'm not only grown, but I'm gone to see all right,
I lose a lot. So you know, the eighteen year
old boy, that has to be consequences for it. Take
your keyback from him. It'll never happen again. Tell him

he owes you an apology. See, young boys is stupid.
They think the best defense is an offense. So now
he done threw it on you. You shouldn't have called
my mama. You shouldn't have been half naked over my
house without my permission with a girl out right now, boy,
miss me, with all that illogical logic.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You use it right?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
If you've grown, where your place at?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
See?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Grown people have places? Yeah, yeah, grown people have their
own key. Children, children stay with other people.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yes, all right, enough said on that one, Steve. We
have time for another one from Brooke in Miami. Brooke says,
I'm a thirty six year old woman with four children.
I might as well say i'm single because I've been
engaged for six years. My boyfriend wants a big family,
and he said we can get married later. I told

(02:39):
him I will have one more child if he agrees,
just set a wedding date. He said, At this point,
do we even need a piece of paper? Is he right?
Is it just a piece of paper? Or do I
need to keep pressing him to be his wife? Wow,
listen to me.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
You have control of his situation if you quit giving
away your control. No, you're not having another baby if
he says a wedding day. No, after you're married, you
can have another baby. That's what you're going to do.
But all of these proposals because you can have a

baby and he can cancel the date. Yeah, Now, all
of this is just a piece of paper. Well, it
just happens to be a piece of paper that you want,
and you have every right to get it. But let
me ask you something. Why won't he marry you? It's
the question, yes, and why do you keep having these

babies with no husband when that's what you want now.
Because you have babies without a husband doesn't make you
any less of a person in any way. But if
you want to be a wife and he is the
one that wants another baby, then we can have another baby.
If I'm your wife.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
About that's just a symbol.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
A requirement, man, Yeah, just just have some standards. Make it,
make him live up to something. Listen to me. If
a man asks you to have a baby, that's the
biggest request you can make up another human being. Yeah,
that is not a bigger request in this world than
to get another human being, a woman to make another light.

(04:22):
I can't get a piece of paper. But you want
a baby, boy.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Boy boy?

Yes?
