(00:00):
And a happy Wednesday friend to welcometo the Thought Shower. Internson is my
name. Let me tell you gonnabe a day today. It is currently
eighty six degrees in the studio. Now, that is what we call not
ideal. However, nothing in ourbuilding ever works properly, and it's a

(00:23):
weird thing where some studios are ondifferent ventilation paths. So like the thermostat
for this room is in a differentroom, makes all sense in the world,
of course, it is eighty sixdegrees. Dude, also like not
great for the equipment, but notgreat for a small room where the door

(00:45):
needs to be shut. So whoI almost feel like I'm in a sana
right now, you know, althoughI'll be honest, I was in a
sauna yesterday at the gym, andI felt bad because this dude came in.
He lost his air pods and Ithink he was trying to do to
find my thing, but because ofwhere we were, like in the gym,
it was hard to find. Andlike it was one of the situations

(01:07):
where you're trying to just not lookguilty, you know what I mean,
Like you're trying to not look likesomething's up, something's off, what's going
on, you know what I mean? And he kept asking, was like,
hey, man, I have noidea where they are. He was
searching around like the gym. Ifelt bad for him. I've been there
before. Although I would I can'timagine people steal air pods. That to

(01:32):
me just gross, you know whatI mean? If all the things you
could take somebody's AirPods would be nothingshort of disgusting, I would say.
But anyway, here we are.Today's the one year anniversary of Sauce starting
in the morning show, which iscrazy, crazy, crazy crazy. It's
been a year already. I madea fatal air this morning. I was

(01:53):
trying to share a post that Iposted, Uh, but I accidentally unfollowed
Rose and Instagram, which I know, like, that's a worst case scenario
because she's gonna give me so muchcrap and rightfully so, and rightfully so
because I do the same to her. But this is not great, This

(02:16):
is not ideal. Uh did I'mso hot right now? Holy schnikes.
Speaking of hot comedy, gonna behot. Next Friday, we kick off
intern John's from Scratch Arlington Draft House. I am oh man, It's an
exciting time because each you know, run of shows has its own background is

(02:43):
the right term, but has itsown chapter, if you will. And
this is a unique chapter in mylife. Difficult chapter, you know,
not ideal chapter one that I certainlydidn't see coming chapter. And that next
Friday we kick it off. Igotta say this, The Arlington Draft House

(03:05):
is twenty one plus unless you're companyby your own parent. So that's the
that's their roles, that's not myroles. Twenty one plus. You gotta
be there with your own parent. We do meet and greets after the shows.
There are a few, maybe couplefive dollars tickets left for the Friday
show. Internsooncomedy dot Com. Icannot wait to see you, dude.

(03:28):
This is bad man. Oh thisis so And the problem is I get
here so early. It's like, how soon do I start calling people to
be like, hey, we gota problem here, you know what I
mean? Because it is a itis a problem. Part of me is
always like yo, like I'm here, I'm seeing the issue. I should

(03:51):
call now, But like I alsowent back to the thermoset. I'm like,
okay, let me just make sureit wasn't turned off on accidents.
I'm gonna wait a couple of minutes, see if it actually goes down.
But dude, this is insane.Let me get to this for your Wednesday.
How to spout the difference between chemistryand compatibility. Dude, this is
huge because I feel like it canbe hard to tell a difference where it's

(04:15):
like there's somebody, Oh, wehave the ultimate chemistry, but we just
don't quite fit in the same hole. That pause, That didn't sound right.
You get the idea. They say, chemistry feels instant and intense.
Chemistry is electrifying feeling you get whenyou first meet somebody, the butterfly to
your stomach, the racing heart, the inability to take your eyes off of

(04:39):
them. I do think it's likeI've always explained, it's like when you
it's like for me, when Ifeel like I'm locked onto somebody and it
feels like we're exchanging energy. Iwish there was a better way to phrase
that, but that's what it feltlike, and that's what it feels like
to me, where it's like,I know, almost like you plugged into

(05:00):
the socket and you install get thepower boost. Now to be fair,
like I've had that go and thenlike it's fizzled out, or it just
didn't quite work. They say compatibilitytakes time to develop. Unlike the into
spark chemistry, compatibility grows as youget to know somebody. It's the comfort
and easy feel in each other's company. Now, I do think we talked

(05:21):
about this before too, that they'renow like the experts have been saying,
the butterflies should go away after awhile. The butterflies staying around could be
a sign of anxiety, could bea sign of fight or flight, which
is not what you want. Iwould agree with that. I think that

(05:42):
you know, the butterflies going, that's adrenaline, right. But then once
you feel calm with somebody, I'veseen like on Instagram and stuff where it's
like, why is your man alwaysfall asleep around you? And it's because
he feels at peace around you?One hundred percent tro one hundred percent tro
thing for dudes especially, I feellike I'm on guard twenty four hours a

(06:03):
day. You know, that's justlike primal instincts or what. But always
I had my guard up, andthen like with like an ex girlfriend,
when she'd be around, I wouldjust feel kind of like like I could
stop white knuckling, like that sweetkind of release pause of like letting the
guard down and then just like recharging. I guess if that makes sense.

(06:24):
They say chemistry is primarily physical.Yeah, I mean the way someone looks,
smells, even the sound of theirvoice that ignites those sparks. It's
primal, it's visceral. That kindof makes sense. You know. It's
like you see something good and youwant to taste good. Dude, I'm
this season all the bad euphemisms today, Huh, that's the vibe. Though

(06:49):
they see compatibilities about connection on multiplelevels. They say compatibility goes beyond physical.
It's about connecting intellectually, emotionally andspiritually, sharing similar values and dreams
for the future, enjoying us toeach other's company, feeling a sense of
mutual respect. That's the best part. Dim when you can be in a
relationship where you're truly best friends, where you truly feel like it's just like

(07:13):
a vibe. That's like my favoritetype of relationship where it's just like,
oh, we can just like sitand talk, look at the stars,
whatever it is, you know, forever. They say chemistry can fade over
time. They say chemistry can beexhilarating it's not always sustainable. The initial
intensity can fade as novelty wears off. I think that's fair. It's like

(07:35):
almost like the dog who's chasing histail. You finally catch the tail and
you're like, oh uh huh, here's now, what do I do?
Yeah? Where ask compability as afoundation for a lasting relationship. I think
that's true, they say so.It keeps couples together in the long run.

(07:55):
It's the glue that holds the relationshiptogether through the ups and downs of
life. While chemistry can be thespark that knight's a relationship, compatibility is
the fuel that keeps it burning onehundred percent, one hundred percent again.
I think it goes back to beingcomfortable, the feeling like you don't have

(08:16):
to pretend to be somebody else. You can just be you and you'll get
along fine. That's what one ofthe most one of the most best,
one of the best feelings. Theysay chemistry can be misleading. It's easy
to mistake the excitement of chemistry forcompatibility. But it's just because you have
chemistry somebody doesn't mean you're compatible.I mean, to me, probably goes
like to the Bachelor, you know, I think that shows an interesting case

(08:37):
study where and they started to researchon like why on the Bachelor everybody falls
so quickly, and we talk abouthow they don't have phones, they don't
have internet, there's just one personwho is the quote unquote prize. And
then you're away from life, likeyou don't have to worry about bills,
everything's taken care of. You goto all these extravagant trips where you feel

(09:00):
like it's just the chemistry, butit's like, yes, it's kind of
like you're in a fancy world andthen real life happens. So whether they
say compatibility is a choice, theysay, well, chemistry is off and
out of our control. Compatibility issomething we can choose. We can choose
to be with someone who shares ourvalues and interest. I think that's fair.
Listen, the motto of the show. My motto has always been,

(09:20):
you deserve to be in a happyand healthy relationship. Whether that's a family,
whether that's a friends, well that'sa relationship, whether that's with the
AC system in your work office, whatever it may be, you deserve the
absolute best. Again, can wesee you on Friday Saturdays? Maybe some
tickets left not positive internshioncomedy dot com. I'm gonna go put extra deodorant on

(09:46):
because this is It would be onsauce as one year anniversary the AC stops
working. Let me just say thatright there. See thoughts shower friend,
I will see you on Friday.Bye bye
